Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.

Eh, it's ok. The food itself is decent, and on par with the other S&B locations. I'm not critical of that at all. But service was sooo slow. Ok, so it was Valentine's Day, which happened to be a Saturday. Those two things combined understandably makes for a much busier day. But it couldn't have been terribly busy since we only waited about 5 minutes for a table, and anyone else coming up for a table had the same wait time. Also, I've been to plenty of other places FAR busier that had much faster service. I'm not talking about cook time here. I'm talking about just the amount of time it took for our drink orders to be taken (around 10 minutes). A couple who arrived after us had their food at their table before our food orders were even taken. My husband ordered a chocolate milkshake, which was more like chocolate milk - that's how liquidy it was. I ordered The Dude Abides, and it pretty much nail the lid on the coffin on how unimpressed I am with S&B's alcoholic beverages. They are SO weak. The Dude Abides is supposed to have caramel Vodka, coffee liqueur, and milk. Mine was basically just milk with the faintest hint of caramel flavor. Can't say I'm too fond of paying $6 for a glass of milk...so they need to amp that up. Slow service, very weak or poorly made drinks, and what feels like a very cramped spot...I think a future S&B trip will be at another location.

For some reason it took me a long time to finally try this place. I am very happy to say that these burgers are NOT overhyped! Excellent burgers for a palette that craves something new and different. The option to get full burgers or sliders was great because I like to try a variety. We started with the FIRE FRY. Crispy fries with diced green chilies, sharp Cheddar, fried onions & chipotle Ranch sauce $5.00. I was expecting more junk and slop all over the fries, but they were just sprinkled with all that awesomeness vs doused in it. I am a very saucy guy, and if I pay $5.00 for specialty fries, I want them to be sloppy! However, they definitely get big points in my book for having so many unique items on their menu. We shared 2 sliders. The Colombian (Sea salt & coffee crusted with smoked Gouda, lettuce, red onion, avocado & cilantro lime salsa). This was fantastic. It's sort of hard to describe experiencing the flavors of coffee, Gouda, and salsa accenting a juicy burger patty, but trust me when I say it works out nicely. The Smokin' Okie (Grilled jalapenos, smoked Gouda, bacon, mayo & BBQ sauce). Tasting a bit more 'normal' than the Columbian, this delicious masterpiece perfected the classic BBQ bacon cheeseburger. I really can't express how delicious this burger is. When my girlfriend ordered it I thought to myself "We're at S&B, and you're getting a BBQ bacon burger?" I was excited to try flavor combinations that I'd never dreamed of, so I assumed this burger would taste average. I was soOo wrong. You need to experience it. I was very impressed and look forward to visiting again. Next time, I plan on trying the Thai burger!

This place is teeny tiny! But... I didn't really ever feel cramped, either. When we got there, it took a couple of minutes for room to clear for a table, so I can't imagine how it gets later in the evening. Maybe it doesn't get more crowded and it's a steady flow, I dunno! Worth the wait. Our server was a nice guy who knew a lot about the menu, including the beer. We tried a new Irish pale ale he offered. While beer is not generally my jam, it was rather good! $3 for a bottle, not so bad. The Frenchman (Mushrooms, Swiss, fried onions & French onion sauce. 4.25 slider|7.50 full) 5/5: If a burger doesn't leave droppings, it's not a good burger! The burgers seem small, but that's because it's dense and quite a lot of food, actually. After I somehow finished my delicious burger, I ate the fried onion and mushroom droppings because OMNOMNOM. Sweet potato fries (4/5): Yummy and fairly crispy!

S&B's never fails to deliver a great burger in a great atmosphere. I came here on a weeknight with some people from out of town (this is one of the go-to spots to take someone who isn't from OKC). We ordered some Thunder fries and each ordered a big ol burger. The cheese wasn't quite melted on the fries, but that is getting nitpicky. The burgers were wonderful and everyone left happy and full.
(4)Mike A.
Awesome place love the atmosphere and vibe. Hole in the wall with great burgers and beer. Truly a fine american dive bar.
(4)Jesus Z.
The perfect burger place, great burgers, great music, great feel, and very good beer selection. I personally recommend the Asian burger, if forced to select an area for potential improvement, I would say that the fries aren't necessarily the best.
(5)J C.
Fun atmosphere , server was good and burgers were really good. Decent beer selection. My kids got a kick out of it being in an office building. I prefer something besides shoestring fries but overall really enjoyed our experience here
(4)Sarah D.
Would be an awesome place if only they would cook your burger to order. Had to stop going when I was pregnant because no matter how many times I asked for my burger to be well done (something you have to do when pregnant) I still received a burger completely pink. Gave them more than 5 tries and still never got one "well done"!

I usually end up at this S&Bs or the one downtown. I always start with a King Bloody Mary and usually have a badass Frenchman burger with a side of Fried Green Beans and wash it all down with a couple of Wicked Apple Ales. The staff is always courteous and the food is always awesome! I did make the mistake of ordering a bleu burger one time which I don't dig bleu cheese but thought I should give it a day in court like I have with the other burgers.

When time travel becomes possible, the first thing I'll do is go back in time and warn my younger self about the horrible burger experience that's going to cost him (me) $11.00. After that, I'll tell him (me) the winning lottery numbers that he (I) should spend the $11.00 on instead. Also, I'll probably advise him (me) on choosing a degree with greater earning potential (because winning the lottery is not enough, I guess). As God is my witness, I would have rather eaten a McDouble®. Somewhere up in bovine heaven (it's a thing), there's a cow wailing right now because her body was part of such a travesty. First of all, $4.25 for a slider? I've had my fair share of sliders, and they usually run in the range of $2.00(ish). $4.00+ is some serious state fair-level bamboozlement. I ordered The Fire slider, and the Hot Lips Houlihan (HLH) slider to go. The HLH slider was so awful that I actually start fuming when I think about it. The description mentions grilled onions, green leaf lettuce, kimchi and Korean grilled BBQ beef. What I actually got was soggy, soy sauce covered lettuce, no kimchi (that I could detect), very little grilled onions, and more soy sauce. There was so much soy sauce in the container that the burger was floating in sauce/water; the bun was slimy, gross, and so disgusting that I gagged (after biting into it) and had to throw it away. I kept the beef, which tastes like, surprise, soy sauce. Words can't begin to describe what an infuriatingly terrible burger this was. The Fire slider was better, but does that mean much at this point? The spicy ranch and onion strings made it pretty enjoyable, but the chilies were soggy and took away from the burger. Something else I noticed with both burgers was how sloppily they were made. It's not even like a, "Our burgers are so big and filled with stuff that the bun can't hold it!" kind of sloppy. It's a sloppiness that seems to be borne of pure laziness; almost as if the cooks were playing basketball and free-throwing the ingredients to see if they could get them in the container. After tip, it was $11.00. They may as well have reached into my pocket, yanked out the money, and brandished a bottle of Kikkoman® while cackling maniacally à la the Wicked Witch of the West, because that HLH burger was evil. Evil!!! Rage. Grief. Regret. Betrayal. These feelings... Is this what a broken heart feels like? Thanks S & B. I think you broke my heart. Also thanks to all of you four- and five-star Yelpers. You had a hand in breaking my heart as well. A lot of you mentioned having libations of some sort with your food, which would explain why you liked the food so much; you were drunk. "Best burger ever!" my brown ascot... I know my rant is (just a tad) melodramatic, but this was, no exaggeration, the worst burger I've ever eaten in my life, and I've eaten at Jack In The Box. It was likely a freak occurrence; I'm aware that I'm floating somewhat alone in this hyperbolized sea of S & B praise, but with a food experience that was as awful as it can get combined with the ridiculous price point, I won't be back for as long as I can hold a grudge (which is quite a while; see Cuppies & Joe). However, the customer service was great, and they take KeepItLocalOK (10% off), which... I forgot to use so... FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU-

I often heard about how good the burgers are at this place. It took me a while to get around to trying them out. I went over the weekend and Oh My God! Hands down the best tasting, juicy, full of flavor and absolutely best burger I ever had. I will be back on a regular basis! They are not over price a great deal for $5.00 bucks! Service was awesome and onion rings were very tasty as well! It was so good I literally wanted another burger but just didn't have room for it. So, I went back later that evening. LOL!

S&B is one of my favorite spots! I have never been a huge hamburger fan, but this place has definitely swayed me towards the beef side. If you ask me, every meal should start with their spicy cheese cubes. Yum! The thunder sauce is my favorite condiment on the menu, so I usually build my own burger with a healthy douse of the perfectly spicy sauce. Up until recently, I've always ordered the sweet potato fries - but after snagging a "regular" fry from a friends plate, I've changed up my routine. They are simple, yet perfectly done! We tried the May burger special - smoked pimento cheese burger - and I'm pretty sure my taste buds thought they'd died and gone to Heaven. I really hope that this burger is added to the menu permanently. I'd be remiss if I failed to mention the best way to end a meal at this joint, the Hot Mess pie (sans bacon for me) from Pie Junkie. Your palette will thank you. Side note: Our server, Bryan, deserves a big shout out for continuing to refill our drinks and check on us even after we paid the bill. Round of applause!
(4)K P.
They have the best mushroom and swiss burger in town, The Frenchman! It is insanely rich and savory!!! And I can't say enough about their key lime pie... I know they partner with The Pie Junkie (another local place) but I can't eat there without having a piece!
(5)Anna F.
I absolutely LOVE S&B's. They don't have a lot of space, but their burgers are awesome and so many choices. You can find something for everyone and always try something new! They're always adding new items to the menu as well but I love the burgers too much to try anything else. My boyfriend loves the Elvis, with peanut butter. I like to try the different spicy burgers but the Frenchman is awesome too, mushroom and swiss with fried onions. It's definitely my favorite burger place in the metro.
(5)Michael M.
Unfortunately a verity of things go into this review. The fact that I just ate at a great burger place in the last few days, a prior bad experience at another location of this restaurant haunting my mind. Other wise the service was really good as I sat at the bar. The food was good but not great. I also tried the key lime pie this time. Unfortunately for my taste buds I choose to do this. This was a less than good piece of pie. Just didn't taste like it was made with key limes. I will prob give this location another shot in the future and I hope they can produce then.

Located in the shopping plaza with Best Buy and Gordman's, it could be easy to miss if you don't see the S&B Burger joint sign. Before walking into the establishment, I already could smell the burgerliciousness. I knew that I was going to walk out smelling like I went to Nic's. You are greeted by a hostess who seats you, but in reality this place is quite informal (they use paper plates, but real silverware). It's a bar, disco haven, 90's hipster type joint. The bar sits right next to the cooking area. Paintings of Billy Idol, Joey Ramone, and Bowie are along one wall. There are a bunch of flat screen TV's, but only one was playing the NFC playoffs- WTH? 2 enthusiastic thumbs up for the DJ booth however! Likes: Something for everyone on that menu. They even have an "Asian" burger! I like the slider vs full burger option. The menu is double sided, so don't forget to look on the back! The Columbian patty has a nice crunchy coating due to the coffee grinds. Fresh veggies and shredded cheese is a nice touch. We ordered the Fire fries which weren't spicy. The crispy fries tasted good and weren't totally weighed down with the amount of sauce and melted goodness. Waitress was very nice and never left our glasses empty. Sweet Tea wasn't too sweet. I wish they sold it by the gallons! Dislikes: Even though the buns were toasted, they still fell apart. The burgers are definitely the messy fork and knife kind!! No real taste to the burger patty. I thought I'd taste a lil' kick of the coffee grounds, but all I tasted was char. You won't leave paying less then 10 bucks per person. I'll give S&B another shot and try the one at Automobile Ally. Maybe they'll change my opinion! Come by at around 3 and you won't have to wait too long. Follow them on FB or Twitter to find out where their food truck will be next!

Love the burgers here. I always have the black and bleu. My wife had the Columbian and we split some fries. Good selection of beers also. Great atmosphere. We have been here many times and have never been disappointed. Oh yes will be back!
(5)Jim R.
I just don't get the negative reviews on this place, unless they've been written about the 9th Street location or one of the 'burb spots. I've only been to the original North May location, and I have no desire to expand my horizons. Big juicy burgers, a well curated beer selection, a couple of interesting sides, and classic alternative music as the soundtrack. The service is always great, even if the cook times can be a little slow (they don't have much room to work at this location). Still, it's awesome. Don't hate the players; eat their burgers.
(4)Matt M.
S&B's is THE place for a creative burger. I usually keep it simple with the Fatty (an onion cheeseburger) but my friends take my suggestion and get the Porker, Frenchman, or Thunder Burger. I love the theme-of-flavor they have with the burgers, but also the fries such as my favorite P B & Fry, which are Elvis-inspired sweet potato fries with peanut butter and bacon. Sounds strange, but addictive! Large selection of beers. Fried cheese cubes are a good appetizer selection. Best salad is the Bacon & Greens that has some red pepper in it as well as some mighty fine bacon in it. The space is limited and food comes on paper plates, but the fun menu and interesting tastes more than make up for it.
(5)Rich R.
Man, another good burger joint in OKC. This one is a gourmet burger place which isn't my favorite when compared to just a good thin burger with some grilled onions and cheese, but good nonetheless. We ordered the fries with chili and gouda cheese to share and they were unique, and very good. I ordered the black and bleu and it was wonderful! Tasty blue cheese, bacon, and avocado was a clean freak's nightmare but man was it tasty. The music was just a touch loud, but no biggie. Staff was friendly and helpful, and it was affordable. Only small complaint I have is that the building was a bit strange and it wasn't easy to find the restaurant. I'm not sure if the a/c wasn't working properly, but it was hot! All in all, very good, and we'll be back for burgers and beer.
(4)Hakan G.
I had the best burger here! Thanks for the cook for S&B special burger and Chilli Fries! Awesome combination. Will come back for sure...
(5)Frannie P.
I haven't had a bad experience at any S&B's location but this is definitely my favorite one. I love the covered patio and every staff member I've encountered has always been incredibly friendly and helpful. I love getting a few sliders so I can try a variety of flavors and I'm a big fan of their fried green beans. You wouldn't think a local burger joint would have the best bloody mary in town, but they do! And their boozy milkshakes... Look, the food is good, the drinks are even better, the service is great, and the atmosphere is fun. A great place to take out of town guests!
(4)Amanda F.
This location is a bit harder to locate but the grill has plenty of flavor which makes for a yummy dirty burger! Slider, smothered fries and specialty Bloody Mary is exactly what a girl needs after a long day. Patio is pet friendly and the staff is eclectic and fun!

I haven't been to the original S&B's Burger Joint in a long time. On this hot Saturday afternoon, I was running errands before eating a late lunch. I stopped at PetsMart to get our 4-legged furry children some food and realized I couldn't put off lunch any longer. I considered the nearby possibilities and headed to S & B's. Yes, this location is smaller than the others & located in an office building but around 3:00 on Saturday afternoon I figured I wouldn't have to fight a crowd. Since I was eating alone, I ate at the bar for the first time and received great customer service from the bartender. After reviewing the menu, I decided to get the Skinny vegetarian patty slider with lettuce, tomato & onion and then splurge on an order of sweet potato fries. In no time at all, the bartender brought my basket of food. I was impressed at the speed. My food was all nice and hot. The Skinny doesn't come with any sauce on it so I added ketchup and mustard that were already on the table. It was very tasty! This was not a bland veggie patty -it had a little bite too it but not too much. The size of the slider was perfect to go with my order of sweet potato fries - I wouldn't have been able to eat a full size burger and all of my fries. Well, maybe I would have eaten it all but then I would have been miserable. The reason I would have eaten myself miserable is that the sweet potato fries were fantastic - just the way I like them. Fortunately because my meal was great & filled me up and because I didn't see it, I was able to ignore the fact the S&B's has pie from Pie Junkie. I have splurged too much recently on pie from Pie Junkie so I was good today but it's great that S&B's has that dessert option. I think it's great that S&B's supports local charities. I also like that they participate in both KeepItLocalOK & the Allied Arts City Card - that gives lots of people like me the opportunity to get 10% off their bill.
(4)Matt B.
Burger wasn't bad, liked the fries, place was clean, service was friendly, very cramped at this location.
(3)Kel L.
One of our favorite burger place. Make sure u bring BIG appetite when u go in. The burger is huge!!! Fire fries was the bomb! The kids meal are the most reasonable for price and high quality as well! Great place, great music too!!
(5)Sam A.
The Good: Great beer selection and good food Could Get Better: Service I've been to this location on several occasions. The beer is mostly what keeps me coming back. The service seems to always be below average whether I sit at the bar or get a table. The ambiance has been disappointing too. I went in with about 6 or 7 friends to watch a Thunder game on a weeknight. When we cheered for OKC, people looked at us like we were the weirdos.
(3)Janine B.
We had to wait quite a bit for our table which can sometimes take away from the experience. Burgers were good, though a bit pricey. I enjoyed the fried onions included on mine. My meat could have had more flavor though. Sometimes you can focus too much on the exotic toppings and forget the foundation of a well seasoned patty. Fries were OK, not great. This place is really small so be prepared to wait at peak times.
(3)Kelly B.
This is by far my favorite S&B location! I love the staff, and the food is top notch. Rock hour is a hell of a deal every weekday from 2pm-6pm with $3 sliders and apps and well drinks. It's a great way to spend an afternoon.
(5)Ashlee B.
Rood was awesome as always. Had the monthly special Reuben fries.....soooo good. The reason for the 5 star was the server... Ryan Leonard.... Beat customer service we've ever had! Somebody give this guy a raise.
(5)Nick N.
Food: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Cleanliness: 4/5 Decor & Style: 3/5 Best burger place in the OKC metro thus far. The selection is great, large, and the "fusion" that comes with these burgers is well above par. In addition, the ability to choose the sliders version gives your stomach more room to try different types of burgers (and more beer). Every month I choose something different. Currently, my 3 sliders to go to are: The Fire, The Chili Lime, and The Thunder Burger. Service is above par (but not super fast). Decor and Style is "garage style" which is cool however, this place is too small for an Oklahoman building so I have to give it a 3/5. The bar is way too small (4 seats I think?). If it was in New York City then I would give it a 5/5. Overall 5/5 due to the taste and selection of it's incredibly awesome menu.
(5)Stephanie P.
Fun atmosphere with good service and a wonderful bar. Monthly specials are always delicious. I have to say that this is not my favorite burger in OKC, but I am a burger purist at heart and get full just looking at one of these burgers overflowing their buns with toppings. This is my favorite place to grab a beer and some fries and watch music videos from the 1980s-early 2000s. It's an awesome hangout.
(4)Richard B.
In town for a weekend set of meetings and was jonesing for a burger and beer and luckily found S&B. Now, the location was a bit of a surprise as iMap took me to a strip mall area with Best Buy, other restaurants etc, but could not find it. That is because it took a small place in a business style building you would expect insurance offices to be in. Inside was great, quaint, compact with great staff and incredible smells. Ordered the fried pickles which were super crisp and tasty and the dipping sauce was smoky and awesome. Had The Fire, full sized, medium rare and cooked to perfection. Great bread, plenty of toppings and super tasty. Beer was cold and experience was a big plus!!!!
(4)Julianna H.
Wow! SO GOOD! These may be the best burgers and sides I've ever had. Get two sliders, or smaller sized burgers, so you can try two. Fire fries and all the other sides are delicious. The milkshake I had wasn't very good however. The atmosphere is very classic rock but just felt hipster to me. Lot's of beer selection and burger and side options so you can eat there a dozen times and always find a new favorite meal.
(5)Robin E.
Great atmosphere. Great service. Best burger too! Don't forget the fries! This S & B's is tucked away in the first floor of an office building. Who would have thought that just inside is a really fantastic burger place??? Choose from one of the S & B burgers or build your own - either way, you'll be happy! There are so many possibilities that it will take a while before they are exhausted!
(5)Ashlie C.
I have been coming to this location for years, when it used to be electro lounge. I heard the same owners opened the burger place and I was excited to try it. This was obviously a long time ago because they have multiple locations and I come all the time. One of my favorite things here is the chili fry. The chili is so thick, meaty and good that I've been tempted to add it to my burger as well. I also like the fire fry, but I prefer the chili if I order a fancy fry. For burgers, I'm an onion burger girl and they do it right with the fatty. Long stringy caramelized onions on a med cooked patty. Perfect. So I ventured and tried a few other burgers, still very good. My preference is the fatty when I eat burgers though for the flavor. We recently tried the new ramen burger and I was really disappointed. I literally thought the bun would be made out of ramen noodles -- its not! It's bread and they put ramen inside with some teriyaki sauce. It tasted like a sushi roll. Not the flavor I was going for in a burger. I wish they did the bun with the ramen like the trend around the US was instead of going with the asian flavor theme.
(5)Patrick W.
This is, by far, my favorite burger joint in all of OKC. Fans of Nic's Grill, proceed to bash me. However, every time I have a burger from S & B's, I am usually at a loss for words. Their "Elvis" burger is the bee's knees! Who knew that peanut burger could be so damn good on a burger? Their french fries are just as tasty and they are very fairly priced, especially on their Tuesday burger specials! I enjoy the atmosphere at every S & B's I've been to and they have quite an extensive beer selection for a smaller establishment. If you want a burger that's ablittle different from the rest, give S & B's a shot ay the title.
(5)Nigel P.
I was pretty impressed with this place. It's a great guilty pleasure. Fire Fries: Tasty, decadent, solid, but not the most creative thing on the menu. The Frenchman: The mushroom burger; at a normal burger place I would be impressed with this burger, but at S & B's, it doesn't stand out when compared to the rest. Hot Lips: The "Korean" Kimchi burger. Awesome concept, great execution. Some may think it's too saucy. Not the best kimchi burger I've had, but still very good. We ordered two of these. The Ramen Burger: Now this is something I've never had before. It was surprisingly good. The ramen is crispy, which is better than what I expected and the sauce on it is pretty good. I'm not a huge fan of the whole forced hipster thing, but the servers were nice enough. The happy hour prices are also great.
(4)Tanvier P.
Holy great goodness this place was awesome! I heard their King burger made it onto a national list for best burgers and told my husband we need to go there. It's a small place (had to wait for seating) but really good. For one they have Mexican Coke and Boylan soda from a town in New Jersey we lived near. I ordered the Thunder Burger and let me tell you, I was in heaven. I am picky when it comes to sauces but that special sauce was sooo good. My husband tried the King and loved the peanut butter combo with bacon. We will definitely be going back!
(4)Vikki G.
It doesn't get better than the Hot Lips burger!!! The fried cheese cubes and sweet potato fries are also fantastic. Downside is that it's hard to enjoy a burger anywhere else because they just don't come close! Love that they have expanded to several other areas of the city but the original S&Bs is by far the best in service as well as quality of food.
(5)Reazy B.
Great time again. Food was great, server was awesome. Hot Lips burger with PB and bacon fries. I'll be back for show.
(5)M D.
The vegetarian sliders are the best veggie burgers at any burger place I've ever been to. Yum. Large beer menu. Patio. I would recommend
(5)Kevin D.
Food and service is great! The smores shake was delicious! Shout out to our waiter Corbin.
(5)Layla P.
Service was great! Food was good but I don't think it was worth the hype. I love onions but the burger was caked in onions that had to be scraped off. The bottom bun was soggy. The shakes were sinfully good!!
(3)Abi J.
Fantastic burgers!! My husband and I stopped for lunch, and were impressed with the wide variety of burgers on the menu. He had the Okie, I had the Thai, and both were excellent. We enjoyed the spicy smothered fries as well, and definitely had more food than we could finish! We loved the decor and 80's music and music videos playing! Very fun atmosphere!

I think I may have found the delicious burger that I have been looking for here in Oklahoma. If theres better, i will find it, but for now this place was amazing. it's a really small barish place. It's a comfortable feel, large variety of people, from families, to couples, to groups of friends. They have a FULL bar, and they have a pretty sweet bloody mary list. We got the spicy bacon bloody mary. It was pretty damn good, came with lots of olives and yummy piece of bacon and a subtle bacon flavor. Definitely recommend it. For the burgers, I got The Fire burger, fried onions, roasted green chills, cheese, and a spicy reach. The crunchiness of the fried onions with the flavor explosion of the spicy ranch was amazing. If heaven had a taste that might be it. The bun was toasted to perfection, not to hard and not to soft. The husband got the chili lime which is chili paste, cheddar crisp, avocado cream and cilantro lime coleslaw, let me just say, if you're looking for something with a lot of flavor in a GOOD way, get that burger. So much delicious flavor going on and all of it together was just amazing. Like a flavor explosion in your mouth. They have a large menus of specialty burgers and I can't wait to go back and try another one. They even had a peanut butter burger which I'm skeptical about but it's worth a try at least once. The fries were perfect, medium cut with a awesome crunchiness. They weren't over cooked, under cooked, they were perfect. All in all, if you are looking for a burger this place is pretty great. Very unique.

Oklahoma City has plenty of places to grab a burger. Many of them are very good. However, I have reserved my five stars for S&B. They burgers they offer are so different from any other place I have found in the city. The toppings work extremely well together. The "el Mexicano" and the "Colombian" are my personal favorites. They offer most of their burgers in slider or full size. I usually get two sliders which allows me to get my two favorites in the same meal. On the back of the menu they have a selection of smothered fries with different creative toppings. I could take or leave the smothered fries. This particular location has a great but small outdoor patio space.

This is by far my favorite burger place in town. I have always had delicious food when I eat there. The smoking okie is delicious and I love the thunder burger, the Colombian, the theta, the Frenchman, and the list goes on and on! The desserts and appetizers are also amazing. Cheese cubes!? Yes! Fried green beans?! Yes! I even love the house salad with red pepper ranch. I have never had a bad meal here. When people come to visit from out of town I always take them here to try out the menu. I have never heard any complaints about the food! The wait can be long and the service is a little slow but, everything is made fresh so it is to be expected.

We stumbled upon this place through a Yelp search on the eve of Thanksgiving 2013. It took us a while to find the place because it's in the bottom of a five story office building across from Best Buy and they don't even have a sign. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised as we enter the establishment. Lots of hipsters and strange writing on the wall there was even a DJ booth in the corner. My wife had the bloody Mary she loved it she said the spice was perfect and I had the tricked up White Russian from the Big Lebowski. We had the black and blue burger and it was cooked perfectly the meat had a wonderful flavor. The bacon was cooked perfectly as well and the avocado was a nice touch. It was a perfect blend of rich, creamy, and spicy!

Great place to get a $5 burger on a Monday. Great taste and value. This particular "branch" was just not what I was looking for when it comes to S&B. It was way too crowded and the service was just very poor and not to mention they handed out my burger to another customer.
(2)William S.
I eat a lot of burgers in my travels and this place is my favorite. Lots of selections, I prefer the Blue Cheese Burger with onion rings. Excellent waiting staff, great beer selection, what else could you ask for. Anytime I bring a friend I make them try the peanut butter drizzled bacon sweet potato fries.
(5)Veronica N.
It's not that the burgers are bad, they just aren't good? Everything has a faint taste of kerosene that's just off. Server forgot my side of mayo. Twice. I'll stick to local mom and pop shops!
(2)Michael S.
S&B has a great beer selection! Burgers can be a hit and miss. The black and blue was lacking in flavor as many blue cheese based burgers tend to be, But the Frenchman or whatever it was called was absolutely fantastic. The fried green beans were crisp and delicious and well worth the 4 bucks. The staff is friendly and very helpful. After talking with the bartender for a while he actually recommend a Mexican place for my coworker and I to try out while we were in town. We came in a few days later for a burger again partly for beer and burgers, and partly because we appreciated the suggestion.

If you haven't been to one of the S & B restaurants in town, then you are missing out on not only one of the best burgers in town, but a local establishment that has been a real gem to watch grow. Just as famous and delicious as the burgers, the bloody marys are creative and yummy. They usually have daily and monthly specials. Another thing I love about this place is that they always seem to be giving back to the community. It is a normal day to walk in there (as I did today) and learn they are giving a percentage of the day's profit to a charity or organization. The owner told my husband that S&B would soon be expanding to other states and cities. To think that one of OKC's own had a dream and we've all watched it grow...love it. The restaurant on 50th is small, so get there early for lunch and dinner (or take a bar seat). The restaurant on the north side is pretty big, and they have a patio too.
(5)Brian B.
The bloody Mary's here are good. The burgers are mediocre, but have and incredible amount of toppings to choose from. This place has a big bottled beer selection. The service.... Severely lacking. I waited about 25 minutes for a burger. They got it wrong so I sent it back. Meanwhile my party was finishing their food. The server didn't really seem to care at all. :( i would probably take my business elsewhere. If you just want a burger and a beer and not be over charged then this place is not for you.
(2)Amanda H.
The burgers are great, but honestly, it's not like OKC is at a loss for good burger spots. S&B does really innovative combos that are super fun with surprising tastes, but I can't say that they're objectively better than, say, Kaiser's, even though I personally prefer the fun flavors you get as S&B's. But I want to talk about the TRUE stand out of the place: the Bloody Marys. Now, I don't really like vodka much. I'm typically a gin or tequila person, but I flirt with all the other liquors too-- as long as they aren't vodka. Tasteless stuff with a hairspray feeling? No thanks. So at S&B's, I started my Bloody Mary adventures by dipping my toe in and having their Bloody Maria, which I believe they call the Bloody Diablo. It was super good. And since, I've had several of the "regular" Bloody Marys, which are anything BUT regular. The vodka is different in each-- infused with bacon, or ginger, or cucumber, or maybe the bloody mary has a whole bouillon cube dissolved in it. They all have a similar family resemblance, but the variety of flavors makes me want to try them all... and since they're sizeable, you really only need one per visit. S&B's also has a pretty good selection of bottled sodas that use real sugar rather than hfcs, though you can still get your fountain drinks in all their artificial glory. The beer selection isn't bad either, though it isn't anything to write home about-- but it's just fine to complement the awesome burgers. And one of the supporting characters tries to steal the show-- the fried cheese cubes. Melty, spicy, crunchy, glorious. They're worth a visit alone.

The Columbian......That is all. Sea Salt and Coffee crusted with Smoked Cheddar, lettuce, onion, avocado, and cilantro lime salsa. I've never swooned over anything or anyone before, but I almost came close after trying The Columbian. I paid $7.50 for the hamburger, but it was well worth it. For a full meal, you'll spend roughly $15 for a meal. There are plenty of beer and wine selections. I went the sweet potatoe fries, which were delicious as well. There was an all male wait staff, all wearing the repairman/mechanic shirts, which went along nicely with the entire restaurant theme. Even as I type this review, I can't wait to get back to S&B!
(5)Brittney W.
s&b burgers was a cute little place you can tell that it is an family owned business... the server me and my fiancée had was great he made a lot of good suggestion...the area we sat at had a funny smell to it and there were flies everywhere... our food was great i really don't eat at burger joints but you can tell this place put a lot of thought in their burgers...their sweet potato fries where good...we spent $28 dollars on our meal and it was well worth it...the only thing is they need to get rid of the smell and also the flies...
(3)Jeffery M.
If you visit Oklahoma City and don't eat here then you have missed the best this city has to offer. What amazing burgers! And Amy my server was awesome.
(5)Kim G.
Disclaimer: this review is actually about bjs but i can not figure out how to delete it. Food was decent. Went here with a couple people from work. 2 in our party had the parmasen crusted chicken. The cheesey potatoes were the best part of this meal. Chicken was flattened, like it had been pounded with a hammer, which caused it to be a little dry. Still tasted ok. The rootbeer was delish.
(5)Angela S.
The waitress was nice and quick to check on us, but after ordering one large black and blue burger, one green chili slider and one blue cheese slider, and one order of fries, we waited nearly 40 minutes for food. By the time we got our food, it was cold and we were too hungry to even taste it. I'm a big fan of green chilies, but my slider was pretty bland if I think about it. Way over-priced for a burger. Will go back to Tucker's or Abraham's instead.
(2)Cleve E.
Great burger. Service was pretty slow. After I was seated I had to remind them I was there. Great burger, a little pricy. Kinda loud and dirty.
(3)Jaime B.
S&B's is absolutely, positively my favorite burger spot. I just wish that I still lived in Oklahoma City so I could enjoy its greatness on a regular basis. It's my must-hit spot when I'm back in OKC. I discovered S&B's when it was still pretty new, and since that time, I have taken all my friends and gotten them hooked too. S&B's offers a huge variety of burgers for every taste, and you can get each burger in slider form if you want to try more than one. My favorites: the black &blue burger and the Colombian. They've created a fantastic combination of toppings for perfect flavors. I especially love the Colombian; the meat is rubbed with coffee, which makes for excellent flavor. My husband loves the Elvis, topped with peanut butter and bacon. Not my thing, but he can't get enough! Two sliders and a side of fries are very filling. The fries here are amazing, the perfect amount of crispy outside, soft inside. They have lots of combination fries: fries with peanut butter and bacon, etc. Great, great food. Love the service here. The servers are always friendly and make me feel at home. The restaurant is on the small side, and they don't take reservations, so be wary of bringing a huge group here. I've managed to bring in groups of eight to ten, but it takes up a lot of their available space. The atmosphere is definitely hipster, but it's not pretentious. It's laid back and cool. It's a great place to kick back. Creativity goes a long way with burgers. S&B's get major props for making creative burgers that don't break the bank and that don't come off as fancy just to be fancy. They're absolutely delicious and well thought out. An excellent place for burgers in the OKC area. I highly recommend it.
(5)Todd S.
Absolutely one of my favorite burger places ... and there seem to be no shortage of burger joints in OKC these days. I love the variety of gourmet burgers. Try the Smokin' Okie ... I like to call it "meat candy." It's amazing. I love that you can get great burgers and an awesome selection of beer. Oh, and don't forget the bloody Mary's ... each one is a meal of its own! My only knock would be the fries. There are places I prefer the burgers while at others I prefer the fries. I wish the two could come together. S&B would rock if they made fresh cut fries.
(4)Joshua H.
Located in what seems like a old bank building this hamburger establishment is one of Oklahoma City's little pleasant surprises! When you walk into the building if you hang a left you are greeted by the entrance to S&B's. When you walk in the first thought that may come to mind is that it is quite small, which you would be correct, it is indeed small for a restaurant, there is quite a few tables in the dinning area however on a busy night it is not uncommon to see people waiting outside to be seated. Good news however, there is a bar! So if the regular seating area is filled up, you are more than welcome to go to the bar for immediate seating and service, there is also a outdoor seating area as well (for those warm summer days). The other thing you will notice is that the place is filled with rock memorabilia and this is a common theme at S&B's, at the bar you will find various rolling stone magazine decorations of rock's finest on them. The burgers are made very well, you can get a choice of sliders, regular burgers, fries. All the usual things you would expect from a burger joint. They also have specials on certain nights for burgers, I believe it is Friday that they do specials, they also have something called the Thunder burger which is quite good. Beer selection is quite extensive and although I have not tried it personally I have seen and heard their mix drinks are made very well also! Want to try a burger establishment other than your typical McDonals, Wendy's, Sonic, Whataburger, Jack In The Box, Burger King stuff?? Give S&B Burger Joint a try!

My family went to S&B's for the first time last night. We've heard great things about their burgers, and I love supporting local businesses. My husband ordered the Big Porker and fried onions on the side. I chose the Big Black and Blue with a side of 50/50 fries. Our 5 year old son opted for the grilled cheese with sweet potato fries. He immediately began to complain that the cheese made his lips burn. This seemed odd to me, because I was pretty sure that Pepper Jack cheese was not on his sandwich. Shortly after receiving our order, a manager came by to check on us. She specifically asked our son how his sandwich tasted. She then actually took the time to listen to my 5 year old explain why he didn't like it. A solution was arrived at, and a new sandwich was delivered shortly thereafter. I really appreciated that my son's opinion and critique were valued and not ignored. Great burgers, but even better service!
(4)Don C.
Went here for lunch around 11:30, the place was already filled with people. I got the black and bleu burger which was delicious! The burgers are usually cooked medium to medium well. It comes in sliders too if you want don't want the bigger portion. I recommend getting the onion rings as well! If you have room for dessert, get the Whiskey Turtle Pie.YUM!
(4)Bella L.
Nom, nom, nom! I have not tried a burger flavor there I didn't like. The sweet potato fries are delish, too. Only bad thing is you are soooo tired once the food settles.

The real mission was to get a lawn mower from Home Depot near S&B, get it home, and mow the lawn so I would no longer be 'that guy'. But then I thought it best to get a little dinner in me before hand. This visit I sat at the bar by myself and grabbed a beer. The beer menu is sizable. There is some local stuff and some fancy stuff but they also have a couple domestics as well. They also serve an awesome bloody mary that doubles as salad with all the olives, peppers, celery and pickles you can drink. Once I settled in I ordered a slider, The Fire. Ah but Monday night is full size burgers for only $5. Well butter my grits, upgrade me to the full size! The fried onions, green chili and sauce all combine for a spicy burger, hence its name. My special lady friend loves the Elvis, a combination of peanut butter bacon and something else. I know, she is weird like that. She is also partial to the friend cheese cubes. The best part (as a former Easterner) was that they serve Cincinnati chili. It is a combination of cinnamon, unsweetened chocolate and maybe cloves. No way to really describe it, so ask for a sample. There is patio seating which is nice for a couple months out of the year, Inside is loud and decorated in rock n roll art. The servers are always nice but the food does sometimes take a little while to come out when its busy. But sitting at the bar you can see that it is because the kitchen is pretty small. Expect a line for lunch on the weekend. I want to check out their new location near Iguanas sometime soon. I hear good things. I'll mow my lawn another day I guess
(4)Garen M.
An upscale onion burger joint. Great burgers, I had the fatty burger. The Thunder Fries are delicious. Good selection (about 50) of beers. It's a go back soon sort of place!
(4)Bryan T.
.Tried the New Blue burger and 50/50 regular fries and sweet potato fries. A very good lunch!
(4)Lori A.
Gourmet burgers and bloody Marys! This is hangover heaven or at least a great Saturday or Sunday noon spot. Burgers were tasty and lots if unusual options as well as a slider option if u can't choose between all the delicious options.
(4)Kevin H.
Awesome burger that was cooked perfectly. Great service. Great beer selection. Will definitely go back the next time I'm in town.
(5)Angela M.
Burgers were ok. They had a variety of toppings, but not sure if worth the money. Not bad when on special which is several times in the week. They have sliders or full size burgers, chili, hot, cheese fries. The feeling in here is music and I would call kinda of punky. The servers seem a bit "whatever feeling" and service is pretty dang slow. Went for lunch, not a big place and only a couple of tables and took us well over an hour for 2 people. Nothing special, but good if this fits your style, heard they serve these burgers in the "office" bar next door late and night.

Wow! That was a blast from the past. I'm gonna echo others and say it was a bit surreal to see one of my "drunken night main stays" turned into a burger joint. It appears the old owner of Electro Lounge is also the owner of this place, so that makes me happy. Ambiance = You can still see the old "Electro" - They kept the rock-n-roll theme; patrons were a mixture of hipsters, tatted-indie-goers, and middle-aged "normal" folks. Drinks = Full bar, plus they have a whole menu of specialty bloody Mary's. In fact, how this place came onto our radar was a recommendation from The Beef Jerky Emporium - S & B's uses their jerky in their jerky-infused vodka bloody Mary. Yes, I'm totally serious - jerky-infused vodka. Food = Yummy! For the vegetarians - they have a house-made veggie patty (good, but "crumbly"). Any of the specialty burgers can be made with the veggie patty - Note: the veggie patty only comes in the slider size. I had the Smokin Okie and the Chili Lime - Both were very good. The Smokin Okie has a chili paste and jalapeños and it was HOT! (but tasty!) And to be fair, I am a wuss when it comes to spiciness.. The Chili Lime was good. Hubby (the meat-lover) had the Lava and the Porker - his review: both were very good (not excellent), but very good. A note on the portions: if you're a lighter eater, one slider and a side will be the perfect amount of food. If you've got an "American-size" appetite, then you'll want to get 2 sliders or one full-size burger. We did not know this, so besides the sliders, we partook in the fried green beans (AWESOME! My hubby does not usually like fried green beans, but we were fighting over these), plus an order of regular fries and fried spicy cheese bites -Which if you love "state fair fried cheese-on-a-stick" as much as I do, you'll LOVE the fried cheese bites! Needless to say, too much food, but I'm glad we got to try a variety of eats. Service = Good Will definitely be going back.
(4)Stephanie C.
Bacon Bloody Mary and black and blue slider burger is a must try. It's pretty busy around brunch time but they turn tables very quickly and the food and drinks are worth wait.
(5)James P.
Absolutely love S&B's Burgers. I had the El Mexicano and The King. I've been here twice, both when visiting the City, and thoroughly enjoyed the food!!!
(5)Kato S.
Love it here! Lots of beer choices and very good food
(4)Charles H.
Their delicious burgers rightfully deserve the 4 star rating but I have to give S&B's 3 stars overall for the poor ventilation system. My natural pheromones were overtaken with an aroma of onions! Not exactly the preferred smell to attract the ladies. :(
(3)Jon M.
I had the best burger I've had in a while tonight at S&B's Burger Joint. I got the New Blue burger, which features a bacon wrapped patty that has been filled with blue cheese, and then grilled onions and blue cheese sauce on top. The burger was exceptionally grilled. It was messy goodness. The fried green beans were good too. It's a little pricey, but you get some good quality for the price. I'm definitely going back to get a burger with kimchi on it!
(5)Bre M.
Most people have a bucket list, I have a food list- and S & B's was on it! I was stoked to finally have the opportunity to eat here. (woo!) The place isn't huge, so I would recommend for parties of 2 or less, not really a space you want to bring a crowd along. I ate with family, there were 6 of us and it worked out just fine..I'm just simply warning you that super huge parties won't be awesome. THE FOOD: The food was so so great. I had the black n' blue burger and half sweet potato fries/ half regular fries (ingenious!), an amber coops beer, and a slice of key lime pie. Since I was with a large group, I was able to sample a lot of other things too! We all sort of shared. I tried the peanut butter french fries, and the Okie Fries- both were fantastic. I also sampled the hot mess & almond joy pie- both were great but Key Lime is still my fave. My burger was cooked perfectly and the portions were great. Yeah, you do have to pay for extra sauces/toppings but in my opinion, if the chef thought those toppings were necessary, then he'd have put them on there! My burger had blue cheese and avocado, mmm...mouth watering. The server was great and he put up with my grandpa's extremely annoying debauchery. Ha! I'm totally going back for more. OH! I used my keep it local card and saved 10% too! Holla
(5)Bekah M.
I will start off by saying that when I walked in I immediately fell in love. Love the atmosphere, the small intimate size, the music, the quotes on the wall and the beer selection. Picked "The Blue" in the slider size because I was getting the special "Vampire Slayer" fries. The burger was amazing, exactly what I expected it to be, stuffed with blue cheese goodness and wrapped in bacon, I overlooked the fact the bacon was underdone because the flavor was fantastic. The fries, however left a LOT to be desired. They were only ok, and that is stretching it. The Parisian, garlic butter and cilantro just made the bad fast food fries greasy and soggy, eh you can't win them all. Then I got my bill and the up charge for the "special fries" cost me an extra $3! Seriously? Put that on the "might have at least mentioned the up charge" suggestion to the wait staff. When the mediocre specialty fries cost more than my burger we have a problem. As much I would love to try the other half of the burger menu, I won't be back.
(2)Daniel S.
Wow this place is so good! I was in OKC for business and got several recommendations for this place and they are well deserved. From the very beginning the staff was friendly and cheerful. The menu is really really interesting, with ramen to coffee among other things on their burgers. I ordered the fire burger and el mexicano smothered fries. The burger was huge and cooked to perfection, but the star of the show were the fries. I also had their classic bloody mary, and it comes with a lot of garnishments. Everyone else in my party also had similar praise for their burgers. I wish I could have tried everything on their menu!
(5)Sooz S.
s&b at 59th can't be beat. love their burgers, especially in oct for the frankenburger (shaved ham, fried egg and garlic parm mayo) wish they'd put it on the menu full time... hint hint!!! had 7 of them last oct. ;) the other 11 months i get the fatty and fried green beans, they are the best ever! love the staff, they're all cool and friendly! go see them and tip them big!!!
(5)Christa O.
SERVICE = WONDERFUL!! BURGERS= UNIQUE/ FUN/ DELICOUS! I had such a great time at this place! Huge fan! My boyfriend and I went there for dinner one night and ordered 3 of their burgers in the slider size! We got the Elvis, Chili Lime and Smokin Okie! SIMPLY AMAZING!! The Elvis was my favorite but the other two were very good! Any burger that has peanut butter on it is an automatic winner in my book!!! LOVE IT! I can not say enough good things about this place- I'm going here again tonight for my birthday and going to try one of their specialty Bloody Marys!
(4)Kati W.
This place has good bar food and a pretty good selection of beer. I was intrigued by the "beer floats" but wasn't brave enough to try it on my first visit. I had two sliders, "The Fatty" and the one with green chili's (can't remember the name). Both burgers were good, and the green chili one had a nice spicy sauce. I shared the 50-50 fries (half sweet potato, half regular). I liked the regular fries a lot better than the sweet potato, they had a nice crispy batter. The peanut butter pie was also delicious. I think some of the burgers have creative toppings, and the place has a funky vibe that I liked. I think I'll come back here the next time I'm in town.
(4)Molly O.
I have been here twice and both times the food is so damn good. We went to Record Store Day and they were there giving away free burgers so we decided to schelp up to N. May and try this place out. I really love the food. The blue Philly is really yum and the Theta rocks my socks. I got the Frenchman last time, it was really good as well but I was really disappointed that they used canned mushrooms. yick. One would think at a place that takes such great care in their ingredients wouldn't use something as utterly disgusting as canned mushrooms. Another thing is the beer prices. I know this is a bar and all but $3 for a can of PBR at dinner time? I just want to enjoy a cold beer with my burger and (yummy) sweet potato fries. and PBR is the cheapest choice and it's gross. ugh. and lastly-the service. The guy who runs the bar is pretty nice and checked up on us frequently but the girl who was back there was throwing shade at customers the whole time we were there. The guy was busy taking orders from everyone while she ignored them. Our food came up, the chef rang the bell three times for someone to come pick it up and her lazy ass didn't even move. I know we were at the bar and technically not her table but anyone who has worked in food service will tell you to not let the food just SIT while another waiter is busy. We were literally 10 feet from the food, I could have gotten it myself. They guy then had a discussion with her that went something like this "are you okay today?" "yeah, I'm fine, don't worry about it" and this conversation was on repeat the whole time while we were sitting right behind them. In short (ha!) I really like the food. It's delicious-save for the mushrooms. The beer prices are ridiculous. I know they have a happy hour but I can't really make it during those times. The waitress needs to quit pouting. If you are not going to work-don't come to work. There are some amazing waiters in this town that would kill for a gig at an up and coming place like this. Suck it up, sweetheart!
(4)Adam K.
I got the fatty burger and it was delicious. Thick and juicy and the melted cheese on top was great. A few complaints: The wait for our food after we ordered took entirely to long and the side of fries was a little puney. Other than that I really enjoyed my food and will probably be back.
(3)Uber M.
Just another hipster burger joint. I had the Columbian. It was good, but nothing to write home about. In the end, the pricing is a bit much for the level of burger. If you're on the west side and don't have time or energy to get to McNellies, this might be a reasonable option.
(3)Staci P.
Great service! Kinda small place very loud with music. But kids didn't mind. Had el Mexicano fries and chili lime burger. So Yummy! I was done in now time. If i wasn't in public i probably would have licked bowl clean!
(5)Tobin N.
Great, unique burgers and fries. If you like twists in classic food this is the place to go.
(5)Eleonore S.
Best burgers in the city by far. A little on the pricey side, but way worth it. Has a hole-in-the-wall feel without the dirtiness and our service was great. I went for lunch on a saturday and the place was pretty full but we had no wait time. They also continue to serve food when the space turns back into The Electro Lounge.
(5)Mitch G.
It is a little weird eating at the place in broad daylight where I spent many a wild night. But that's not the point of this review. The burgers are good. I think it's one of the better tasting burgers I've had in a while. The Fatty is a good classic onion burger, w/ cheese. They always have new things coming up on the menu, and so far I've probably tried 5-6 different kinds of the minis. I can honestly say thaat they have all been good. Some I might not get again just cause it isn't my thing, but none of them were "Bad". And some of them were delicious! It is a little Pricey, and I hate that it limits what you want to get. I'd love to get 2 sliders and fires w/ a cold beer, but you'd be looking @ $13.00. Only downside is the price. It's cool little places like this that keep things interesting, and if the food is good, they deserve success.
(4)Chelsea R.
Great food, great Bloody Mary! Only complaint is that the place is so small and it can get pretty noisy
(4)Todd T.
Really good food, great service, full bar, overall good place!! Go!!
(4)Larry L.
Great food and great beer selection. Just have to wait for it. Took about 15min to get seated. Great atmosphere. Again great Burger. I had the Okie. Awesome. And if you like bloody Marys then this place is for you. Many varieties to choose from.
(4)Phil D.
I heard many great things about this place. I was a little weary as it is located in an office building. However, that was quickly resolved. The ambiance of this place is fantastic. Almost like a dive bar. I had a cheeseburger with grilled onions and fries. It was amazing. You could tell they use good quality ingredients. The sharp cheddar was actually sharp. On top of that the beer list and service were excellent as well. The only draw backs were the fries needed a tad more salt, which is minor, and they didn't have milkshakes, which is major. I don't understand why some burger places don't have shakes. If S & B had milkshakes, I would definitely would give it 5/5 stars. However, as it stands, it gets a 4/5 and claims the #2 spot on my favorite OKC burger establishments.

S&B's has quickly become a lunchtime staple. I initially went there a couple of years ago on the recommendation of a friend. I've become more and more enamored with it as my palate has become more adventurous. In the beginning, my north Oklahoma roots limited me to the Fattie, which, as "plain" hamburgers go is pretty darn good. Shortly thereafter, I tried the Fire and an US Weekly-worthy love affair was born. My most recent dive into the proverbial deepend was the Elvis (red onion, bacon...PEANUT BUTTER). I even coerced my boyfriend into trying it. In his words it's "weirdly incredible". Right on the money, if you ask me. On a couple of occasions I've been rich/hungover enough to spring for one of their $10 Bloody Marys. In their defense, the trimmings are plentiful enough to constitute a full-blown relish tray and they infuse their vodka with exciting ingredients. And no visit would be complete without their spicy cheese cubes (served with honey mustard, in lieu of ranch dressing). My only complaint is that everything's so delicious, I eat to the point of misery almost every single time. Meh...1st world problems.

Went on Saturday afternoon. Had "The Fatty", which was one of the best onion burgers I have ever eaten. The Mix of sweet potato and french fries were delicious. I will go back and eat there again. There was good music playing on the Spy accompanied by a good atmosphere. I would definitely recommend dining at this establishment.

S & B's Burger Joint is what a burger joint SHOULD be; unique and tasty with fresh quality ingredients. The beef is ground fresh daily and each slider is the result of lots of development and taste-testing by the owners themselves. They provide a relaxing atmosphere in the afternoons and a lively atmosphere in the evenings. The Fire Burger is my personal favorite with green chiles, fried onion strings, cheese and spicy ranch. Also the sliders are the perfect size so that a slider and order of fries is filling but not overwhelming. If you got a bigger appetite just get two or three of em. At about $3.25 apiece it won't break the bank. Give The Burger Joint a try, whether your current favorite is Bunnys, Rons or Irmas, you're likely to trade up.

I feel weird going to the burger joint because it still looks like the lounge I partied in through college. The waitress was funny and great, giving me just enough of a hard time. I highly recommend the green chili sliders. The sweet potato fries were as good as McNellies. Overall I thought it was a little pricey, but great food in a fun atmosphere.

I had the Fire Burger and S&B Theta. Both were excellent but the Theta was my favorite of the two. Shared an order each of the fried green beans, fried pepper jack cheese, and sweet potato fries. All three were fantastic, but the serving sizes were on the small side.

the burgers are ok. just putting some weird ingredients on ok burgers is nothing special. the waitress tonight was horrendous. after giving her our order 3 times each (we had 3 of us) she still messed it up. i would strongly skip the place. strongly.........even if they help rotaries and whatnot, it's not worth going and would not recommend it to anyone. there is a lot better places in okc to get a burger....maybe burger king....atleast they get it close....
