Diabetics at Pizza Hut
Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.
Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:
You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.
Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Eat here only if you want food poisoning..my roommates and I picked up a bacon and pepperoni pizza and by the next day were all violently ill. The pizza tasted surprisingly good for how cheap it was but I guess there is usually a catch..and in this case it was spending an entire night hunched over a toilet. On a side note, the guy taking our order was extremely rude and not helpful. Would rather starve to death than ever eat at this place again. And when we called the place to inform them of us getting sick, the manager acted like we were making it up and said he would have the owner call back..which shockingly didn't happen. I would have given it zero stars if that was an option.

Best non-gourmet pizza in OKC. Period. In the mood for some pizza and beer? Forget Pizza Hut and Papa Johns, the house is the only place to order from.

Boy oh boy, this place is where it's at! If you're looking for a 2 hour wait time from start to finish Pizza House will not disappoint. And even though online ordering is advertised, when you place the order you have to call an hour later to inquire about the order only to find out they received the order, your address, and phone number but "don't take online orders, you have to call in"...Oh those tricky tricksters, ya got me! What a great sense of humor they have. What's even better is the call my boyfriend made 40 minutes after the first call apparently actually placing the order (after the 'online ordering' prank they pulled) where the man told him it was actually only 20 minutes ago that I called and made the order... You know, I appreciate that he was willing to correct me because sometimes I really need to be put in my place (I could have sworn it was 40 minutes, but the time line on my cell phone could have been wrong too) When the delectable food arrived the driver asked if we ordered fried green beans, I told him we ordered something different and he pointed to the ticket where our correct order was written, he shrugged and handed me the order. It's great that they took the time to shake things up a bit and not give us exactly what we ordered but instead forced us to try something new (at full price and with no apologies). When I opened the pizza box and removed a slice the most amazing thing happened, see I always thought when an object moved the shadow followed. Well this pizza defied the laws of physics because the shadow stayed right where it was (this also could have been a giant grease puddle, but who really knows or even cares!) On a serious note, I know it's probably late and you're hungry so save yourself the wait time, the poor customer service stress, and potential pizzeria diarrhea. Order from a different local restaurant, because Pizza House and their shenanigans are not worth your valuable time or money.

The pizza itself was nothing special. I wasn't blown away by it by any means. The service was terrible. The person answering the phone was impolite. The pizza took 90 minutes to be delivered to a location that was merely 5 minutes away. I won't be ordering from them again.

This place is HORRIBLE! I wouldn't give it one star if I didn't have too. It takes a hour to a hour and a half to get 2 dishes delivered to you and it's about 3 blocks from our house! Then once I FINALLY got my food it's was BURNT to the color black! Awful and sad that a local restaurant is so horrible!

Good pizza. Until I found a little green bug. He looked like a jalapeño covered in cheese. Prolly no second chances on this one.

I go here for the vegetarian calzone. Massive flavor, competes with good East Coast calzone. I ask them to put the calzone red sauce inside when they make it. They use their pizza sauce. Kind of dry and less flavorful without the sauce on the inside. Nearly every time they advise me against it saying it will make it soggy, but they will do it if pressed. Meat calzone and pizza are also good, but the vegi calzone really shines. Fast contentious delivery. Good coupons on to go menu.

PIZZA HOUSE ON PENN &23rd OKC After a call to the pizza house telling them about the problem with our order. They refused to admit that it was there fault. They didn't offer to correct the problem either. PIZZA HOUSE ON PENN &23rd OKC There wasn't anyway to make this a zero star or I would have they need a zero on customer service I just wasted 15.00 on a calzone made wrong that they wouldn't make right so I am writing this to worn everyone to save a wasted and disappointing dinner. PIZZA HOUSE ON PENN &23rd OKC I ordered a 14.95 calzone I made sure to say no onions We got onions !!!! WTF And the sauce that came in styrofoam was COLD wow cold in styrofoam !? Why would anyone put cold sauce with a order of hot calzone . They told me every order of calzone gets cold sauce ! Really ? so I guess if you want some cold sauce and a calzone made wrong that they won't fix , this is the place If you have a order made wrong they will blame it on you What a disappointment I tried to call and have them make it right but they seemed to act like they just didn't care and I the customer was wrong . I hope this saves you your money so you can go somewhere that you can get what you really wanted PIZZA HOUSE ON PENN &23rd OKC

Haven't been here in years. Still my favorite sausage pizza. Haven't tried much else, but for the price it is very good.

This place can not be trusted. Placed an order waited for 1.5 hours to only find out they cancelled the order and didn't have the nerve to call and tell us this. Another small town pizza dump with horrible service. I would not order from these guys. If the service is this bad I can only guess what the food would be like.

I called my order in so they could work on it while I drove over to pick it up. Didn't have a problem asking and ordering for the special (large one topping for $7), though I could tell English wasn't his first language. Inside the pizza joint, there is a pool table and several tables to sit at while waiting for your food. But, if you call in advance, you may not have to wait. I left my house, near Classen and 38th, and by the time I got there, it was ready. The pizza isn't the best in the world, but I'd definitely go again. Fast and cheap!

It may take 15 minutes to place an order over the phone because you can't understand them and they can't understand you but Pizza House has some fantastic pizza. At least all of the vegetarian pizzas are delicious, especially the pacific veggie with onions, roasted red bell peppers, spinach, feta, etc. They also have garlic butter which is probably more unhealthy than the pizza itself but so delicious. Their extra large pizza is GIGANTIC and could probably feed a family of 6...hundred! No, no. I'm kidding. But they are seriously huge. They also have calzones, sandwiches, gyro, pasta, fried this and fried that. They are a tad bid pricey but I think it is worth it and is much better than any chain pizza place. Pizza House is my go-to for local pizza; the place has been open since 1984! However, their delivery can take a really long time, so it is best to order early or pick it up yourself! They are also open late!
