Great Patio Bar & Food! Wine selection is wonderful. Service is excellent and individual.

I normally try to pepper my negative reviews with as many positives as possible. Unfortunately, Peloton's doesn't have too many positives. My entire experience was underwhelming, at best. Peloton's Wine Bar is located behind Schlegel Bicycles. In fact, it is attached to it. As in, you can see bicycles hanging behind their make shift kitchen. So that factor makes the entire experience kinda weird. When I think of a wine bar, I think classy. Peloton's atmosphere does not lend to a classy environment. There a two seating options: inside at the counter (no tables because it is too tiny) or outside in the sun or under the patio with "misters". Considering my friend and I wanted a leisurely lunch at a wine bar, we opted for outside under the patio, because it was entirely too hot to sit in the sun. We were seated at a table that had to be wiped down because it was so wet from the mister. We are talking puddles here, people. Our phones were wet. Our paper menus were flimsy with moisture. And my perfectly straightened hair because a frizzy mess. Not exactly the kind of classy and relaxing environment we were going for. Just to add to the environment, I feel like its important to mention that the restroom is located behind a door under the stairs. Not really inside a building. It kind of feels like you are in a parking garage or a park pavilion restroom. It doesn't add to the ambiance, that is for sure. We decided to start with glasses of wine, which is what one would expect at a wine bar. Considering we were sitting outside in 95+ degree weather, I thought a nice chilled sparking wine would be delicious. Unfortunately, they only sell it by the bottle, not the glass. We both opted for a Rose'. We asked the waitress which Rose' of the three offered was dryer, but she told us she couldn't answer because she had never tried any of the wines. What?! Stop the bus. You work at a wine bar, but don't know a single thing about the wines? But not to worry, she said she would ask the other server who had been working there longer (she was new). The second server came over, we asked our questions, and we were shocked to find out that he didn't know anything about the wines either! We both ordered a glass of Rose', but by two different wineries. I was brought a Riesling by A to Z instead of a Rose' by A to Z. It is easy to get chardonnay and riesling mixed up, but I thought it is impossible to mistake a Rose'. I guess I was wrong. I was eventually given the right wine, and I sat and drank it quickly, before it got watered down from the misters. You know, from a business perspective, the fact their employees don't know anything about their wine menu is costing them money. Your waitstaff is your sales people. Had our service been good, we probably would have ordered wine all afternoon. Unfortunately, by the end of our dining we couldn't wait to get out of there. As for the food, it wasn't anything exciting but was decent. There are so many good, local restaurants in the vicinity with far more creative and delicious menus, so Peloton's food in comparison is just meh. My friend and I both ordered the same thing, which was half a Cuban sandwich and half a spinach salad for $10 total. The salad had bacon, pears, and candied walnuts and was pretty tasty. The sandwich was just ok. My friend originally wanted their special soup of the day, which was a chilled creamy avocado. However, when she ordered it she was told they hadn't made it yet for the day...at 1:00pm! I don't know why they would have even had it on the specials board. All in all, this place just doesn't have their crap together. Their servers need training, their atmosphere needs work, and their menu just needs some creativity to it. There is just too much competition in the area. I would never purposefully choose to go eat here, or have a glass of wine here for that matter. Honestly, I don't know how they are going to stay in business more than a few months. Maybe in time they will change things. Or maybe they will close. Either way, there are lots of other yummy options with a good atmosphere in the area to not have to subject yourself to eating here.

My friend and I stumbled upon this place after searching all over for a new place to eat. It is a bit hidden behind the bicycle place and across from S&B burger. Our first thought was, "This is the smallest place ever." It's cute with all bar seating. The menu is small and everything is made in front of you. We both ordered the Cuban sandwich, which has pulled pork and comes in a ciabatta. It. Was. Delicious!!! The pulled pork was tender and lean. All the flavors went well with each other. Their tomato soup was also yummy. We even got a surprise Nutella pastry with our meal that was really tasty!! This is a secret hole-in-the-wall place that I'd definitely take my friends back to. They also have this wine and food pairing dinner for $35 on certain dates that I'd love to try.

I love Peloton...a nice, laid-back atmosphere with great food and drinks. The restaurant is mostly patio with a few bar seats inside. There are several vegetarian options.

Love the patio. Great spot for a glass of wine and a cheese plate. The patio is blocked by a building on the west so it's nice and shaded for happy hour.

Peloton has been through a transition since last year. It's understandable that this is a tough business and getting good employees is extremely difficult, especially when you run a smaller establishment. But after a rocky road, things have definitely smoothed out for Peloton. We took a large group and had exceptional service by Kim. While in the past the service was sketchy, it seems they have solved this problem. Kim was incredible and we had around 20 people! I've always loved the food so I won't comment much on that. The hummus is some of the best in town. Ask for a mix of bread and veggies with it. The grilled veggie sandwich is also spectacular. As a vegetarian, I'll leave the meat inspired dishes up to another reviewer!

The beet hummus is to die for and the metro is quite delicious. This was my second visit and the evening patio ambiance was wonderful. The staff is super friendly and the food was right on for what we were looking for. The hubs enjoys there selection of wines and we were there during "end of day." And the wine was cheaper. I definitely recommend this little hot spot for a cooler evening, although they do have misters to cool you down if it's hot, and maybe soaked.

Came here on a Sat night to sit outside on a beautiful night and just unwind. The patio was fairly busy, but not full. We ordered a carafe of the sangria. It was ok, just a little too sweet for our taste. We ordered a hummus appetizer, which didn't show up until our meal came out. No explanation or apology offered. If you're going to list food as a starter, please bring it BEFORE our meal. The one server working the patio seemed too easily overwhelmed even though it wasn't chaotic at all. Our dinner order also got mixed up. My Cubano sandwich, which I asked for provolone instead of Swiss on, came out with no cheese. Oh, they didn't forget it, they put it on the wrong sandwich. Oh wait, my girlfriend actually ordered a curry chicken salad...a salad, not a sandwich, but oh well, why fuss over specifics...and yes, the sandwich is more expensive. I'm sad to write this because I like Steve the owner and it's such a nice place- but they've been here a while now and these types of food mix-ups shouldn't happen. The food is good, not great, but they didn't seem to really care about their mistakes.

We've been curious about this little gem, but finally had the opportunity to give it a try for a leisurely lunch. Nice variety of appetizers and entrees. Not only was food delicious but the service was cordial and attentive. We had olives to munch on and decided to pass on the wine selection given we were driving home. We ordered the house-made lemonade. It was fabulous. Perfect blend of tart and sweet. I had the chicken, pear and Brie sliders. My husband had their Cuban sandwich. Done with just the right touch of siracha and pork and ham. Complimentary cookies came with our lunch. We are certainly going to return. The breakfast menu looks wonderful too.

Great place to relax!!! Chill environment and the sangria is amazing...a must try! Oh!! And the bacon nuts...try that too! Super friendly service that is very knowledgable about the wine selection they have. Great location with plenty of parking.

Five stars for location, concept, and atmosphere. I have had both lunch and appetizers here and the food is solid for the size kitchen they are working with, bonus points for delivery being available. Great wine list, I only wish there were more by-the-glass options, but I also love any excuse to open and share a bottle with friends. On paper, I love Peloton and will continue making plans to meet friends here for now. Where Peloton loses its two stars is service. The last few times I have come here, I've been made to feel like I was in their way, a bother, or beneath them, or a combination of all of the above. Never has anyone seized the opportunity to educate me on their wines (it is a wine bar, how easy would that be to do), offered any pairing suggestions or really even done anything but huff and puff. The last time I was there I got charged for a bottle when I ordered a glass (big difference) and I got an eye roll when I brought it to her attention. It just makes me sad that such a promising place gets 95% of it right and blows it on the most important 5%. I will keep giving it a try, but will ensure that I keep my service expectations low.

Friendly staff decent wine selection. I wish they had brewed tea options instead of just bottled tea.

My friend and I were looking for a new place to have lunch and we came across this restaurant on Yelp! It was hidden in a parking lot and we were surprised at the small space when we walked in. However, the food was fantastic! You MUST try the Cuban melt! I don't usually eat pork, but it was incredible! We also tried their tomato soup, which had a great chunky/rich texture and was pretty good. We didn't try any wine, but it appears they have a nice outdoor space to sit and share a bottle when the weather gets warmer. They also told us about their Thursday night wine tastings. It is $35 and includes around five different wine tastes and appetizers. Will definitely go back, if for nothing else, the Nutella pastries they included with our lunches were so worth it!! Give it a try for something different in OKC. Gave it four stars for the very tight space! It really deserves at least a 4.5.

I love the laid-back, low-key vibe of @PelotonWineBar. There's nothing pretentious about it. In fact, it reminds me a lot of one of my very favorite Napa Valley tasting rooms, Velo Vino. I think it would have reminded me of Velo even without the common denominator of bikes. It's chill, it's fun, the people are nice and the wine is good. That's really all I'm looking for in this life. Head for the patio with a group of friends for happy hour or after attending an event downtown, or walk over after dinner on Automobile Alley or Eat Street. Sit, and visit while you enjoy one of the best wine lists Downtown has to offer. If you're hungry, you're in luck. We ordered both the cheese and meat plates, and they were both an excellent value for the price. We also shared an affordable bottle of Pinot Noir and the guys ordered beers. I was pleasantly surprised to see the tally at the end of a couple of hours of eating and drinking. So grab your favorite friend and get thee to Peloton!

I went with a girlfriend in October of 2013 and I have not been back. Yes, It is a cool concept! Yes, the patio was cool! The service was not cool though. I felt pressured to buy a bottle from our server and she also came to the table with food in her mouth to take our order. They were hiring at that time so hopefully new servers are in there. There was a group of guys that came to eat and they were out of a few things they tried to order. Hopefully things have improved!

My sister and I stopped here on the night of the Halloween parade. We were looking for a place to get a drink and sit down before the parade started. We had already eaten so I cant review their food options. We had a couple of beers and a gin and tonic. The staff was so nice! I would love to come back and try the sandwiches, they looked delicious. We did have couple of chocolate chip cookies and they were pretty good.

As soon as I heard about Peloton, I knew it'd be a place I'd like. You can never go wrong with wine, right? As I approached the restaurant, it wasn't clear which door was the entrance but they only have bar seating inside anyway so we opted for the lovely patio. It was Saturday night and my boyfriend and I were the only people there at 7:30 which was discouraging at first... but we had great service! They have a nice selection of wines and their prices are reasonable as well. I really like their menu, modern and diverse. Many dishes are available as half portions too. We had the smoked salmon app, curried chicken sandwich and oven roasted chicken sandwich. All were amazing! They serve their food like The Mule on metal trays which I don't particularly care for but they do give you some sweet pickles and a cookie with your meal which was a nice surprise. I love that they grow their own herbs which are planted around the patio. This place would be great for a group and evening of wine on the patio.

A warm low-key patio with misters and wine for a first date? Why not?

I work in this area and come here for lunch occasionally. The sandwiches and salads are pretty good,. I haven't had to opportunity to try any if their wines, but would imagine it would be very nice on a nice spring or fall evening.
