This is not your everyday casual eating establishment. My family and I eat here for most of our special occasions. We have eaten here at least 20 or mor times and have never been disappointed. First of all you HAVE to start with the Ceasar salad. It us hands down the best Ceasar salad I have ever had. Michael usually makes it at your table side. He really knows how to take care of his customers. As for your entree, where do I start? The coconut crusted halibut with midori beurblanc sauce is almost a must. The beef tenderloin tornados are cooked perfectly. The pork tenderloin is delicious as well. My wife and I shared a 30 ounce lobster tail once. I can not tell you how good this place is.

It has been over 10 years since we've eaten at Michael's. The food scene in OKC back then was limited. Many people frequented Michael's and it was deserving of the good reviews. Since then we have many more options for quality seafood/steak establishments that truly deliver great dining. Unfortunately, that no longer is true of Michael's Grill. The service is good although it tends to be too fussy for my taste and Michael still works the tables but the prices are totally undeserving of the quality of the food. My wife wanted a caesar salad and was told that can't be substituted with an entree so she ordered a side caesar that was $14.00. My son's filet was $50. I had bolognese $30.-nothing special. Crab cakes (2) at $25. Tea $5.00. Bernaise sauce $5.00. I travel the country a lot and was shocked when I saw their menu prices in comparison. (Prices on the menu posted online are not the current prices on their menu). I don't mind paying these prices but not for sub-par food. Everything was overly seasoned with salt. I noticed the older Nichols Hills crowd was there and honestly don't know how a place like this can continue when OKC now has many better options for fine dining.

One of the best restaurants in OKC. It's not cheap. But the quality, flavor, attention to detail are what set this place apart. Never had a bad meal here. Ever. Special birthday, Anniversary, this is a perfect spot. Usually quiet & intimate. Highly recommend it, but do remember it's fine dining.

Hands down, this is my favorite steakhouse. My fiancé and I love Michael's, it's our go to restaurant for fancy date night. The food is amazing and we always receive excellent service. It's an all around good time.

Michael's Grill is a hidden gem. Off the beaten path (just a little) this place has a cozy, intimate atmosphere. The menu offers steaks, seafood and several of Michael's Italian dishes. Known for his table side Caesar's salad, Michael has been part of the OKC dining scene for more than 20 years. The clientele come from Nichols Hills and Quail Creek mostly. You can tell there are a lot of "regulars" as Michael makes his way through the dining room one table at a time. The food is pricey but consistently very good. The bar is a "hang out" for locals from the surrounding neighborhoods (see above). I am not a regular but I do recommend Michael's to friends seeking a sophisticated and quiet place for dinner. If your looking for a place to dress up and not feel out of place Michael's is that place!

Prior to deploying for the third time, the wait staff at Michael's Grill made our dinner very special for my wife and I. It is our regular location on special occasions and will remain our number one go to spot. (Correction) I wrote that review awhile ago but since I wrote this, they have changed their chef and it made a world of difference and not in a good way. The steak was nothing like it used to be. The shrimp and salad was still great but I will not order the steak again. Time to find a new steak house. :(

My wife and I went here for a friends b-day dinner. Food was decent. Service and hospitality was good. The owner, Mr Michael came and talked to our table. The ambiance was average at best. Decor and setting was kind of drab and dated. The prices were a bit steep for the food and alcoholic beverages. Oh and gentleman be sure to wear a blazer or sports jacket... otherwise you will stick out...

Visiting OKC we had dinner at Michaels Grill with friends. Food and service was first rate. We ordered both from the menu and the Specials for the evening. Fish dishes, halibut and sole, were excellent as were the chicken and veal picatta. Caesar salad prepared tableside is a must order. First rate place that could compete any day with major city venues. Prices slightly higher than the fine dining chains but well worth it in taste, portions and service.

My wife and I wanted a nice evening out for our 37th wedding anniversary. We had been here in the past and had had a good experience. I called ahead and asked if they had cold water lobster tails and they said they had 16oz cold water tails at "market price." I didn't ask the price as they had always been reasonable before. This was a mistake! The tails were small, overcooked and were not sweet. The waitress was sheepish when she brought the bill. When I saw the bill they charged $165 a piece. (BTW I checked the cost for those tails at our local fish market and they were $50 a piece.) The total including an appetizer, caesar salad, wine and tip was over $500! Michael didn't even make the caesar salad at our table like he did in the past. I've had better lobster tails at Red Lobster. If you want a prentious, overpriced meal knock yourself out with your snobish friends. Otherwise go to Red Lobster for some better tails!

Never eat here! Way over priced! Look at the menu online. It is ridiculous. The service is terrible. Michael himself is very rude and only cares about his regulars. If you like a stuck up atmosphere this the place for you. I've eaten here several times (not by choice) and it is always bad. I do not understand how this place is still open. The menu and food is so out dated and the food is simply not very good.

Really good food, great service, and the people who go here are also very sophisticated, classy, and super friendly. I have no complaints about this place, I just don't really like the location it is in and it's not the best food I've had in OKC so.. I give this place 3 stars which I think is a high rating especially for OKC.

5 stars excellent food, bar none. 4 stars as a combination of decor and location. The inside makes up for the strip mall location and entry. 2 stars for service. They missed several beats in a row. ( not clearing items, promising something and disappearing, long lags between ordering and any update, no check in, basically an under skilled waitress. ) Now maybe this is the SF foodie talking, or whatever. I don't know. Michael runs a great restaurant, but his staff needs a kick in the bootie to take it to the next level and really deserve the five stars.

We tried Michael's Grill for our anniversary. The service and drinks were awesome but the food left a lot to be desired. The meat in the veal piccata was tough and the Caesar salads were small and had way too much dressing. The martini was perfectly made though. All in, this was not a good way to spend $200 (and walk out quite disappointed).

Not as impresses as I had hoped. Food was good, although the highly recommended caesar salad was a disappointment. But worse still, the service was simply awful. From waiting 10+ minutes before we ever SAW the host/hostess, to my water glass raining totally empty for long stretches, and an undeniable lack of attention, my date and I were both very disappointed. May just have been an off night, but it may be a long time before we give Michael's another try.
