Jimmy's is right across from my hotel, so I had to try it. Nearly impossible to get to but with effort can access the parking lot via the surrounding neighborhood. Clean and pleasant inside, very good service. Coffee was about average, and the eggs over medium were cooked perfectly. The bacon was average and overcooked, grits tasteless, and biscuits had a very funny flavor. The sausage gravy had no flavor. Didn't stop by the bathroom, so no clue how they keep it. Overall, a very nice place to have breakfast. Perhaps try some of the favorites, like strawberry waffles, or one of the many omelettes. At least the dining room is clean, pleasant, and wait staff are great.

This Jimmy's Egg is the melting pot of OKC. You see everyone come thru the doors. The waitstaff is always friendly, even when they are swamped, and the food is always good. Even special wants are met with a 'no problem' or a suggestion on how to order to save money. Just good people.

Busy as all get out but the food is always amazing! Total hangover food :) Yum. Seat yourself but its no biggie people are usually in and out in a reasonable amount of time!

All JE's are not created equal, and this one ranks at the bottom of the list for me. The scramble I ordered was nothing more than an omelette over hash browns (which I would have ordered of that's what I wanted). The coffee was horrible, and the biscuit gravy lacked flavor altogether. I'll be going to my fav JE in the future.

This place is straight fire, the service was fast and friendly and the food was fantastic. The server recommended the Jimmy's Garbage Breakfast .... WOW.

Went here Sunday morning after having a strong craving for steak and eggs and wanting a pretty casual breakfast/brunch place. It definitely hit the spot but as expected I wasn't WOW-ed. That's okay though, for the price, and the mood and atmosphere I was feeling Sunday morning, it did me well. We got the steak and eggs for me and also got this huge omelette you can make with your choice of 10 ingredients. We asked for double spinach, but when we were eating it, we thought they had forgot it, that's how little spinach there was. Heavy on the cheese though. May be how others like it though! It was tasty. My steak was A-OK too, but the scrambled eggs I got were like paper thin, even paper shaped, not scrambled and wholesome like I expected. Oh and don't try and make a healthy decision here to make you feel less guilty for everything else you ordered. I did and got wheat toast, if I have had anything closest to cardboard, it would have been this! I loved the cute southern feel of the restaurant though. Go before 11, after that you might be waiting a long time when the "after-church" crowd hits.

Tessa is the BEST waitress everrr! I order off the kids menu & it's a perfect size omelette with all the sides! Mmmmmm Mmmmm Mmmmmmm!

Best sweet potato pancakes I've ever had. Service was fast and courteous both times I've been there... once at 8 am on a Sunday (less busy) and another time today at 10 am on a Saturday (very busy). Their menu is great and they have great breakfast combos.

Horrible! From the stench when you walk in to the burnt rancid oil they cook the food in. 2014 best breakfast in OKC my ....... Never again!

The food is cheap, and always great. There is an IHOP across the street but I would never consider going there. I have gone here since I was a little girl with family & friends. All the waitresses are very kind- just an overall great place.

Pretty standard breakfast fare, but I LOVED the option of biscuits and gravy as a side, so that got them the 4th star.. And you get not one, but TWO gigantic biscuits. One of the biscuits was plenty for the gravy, so I ate the other with jelly! I had the mexican omelet, which was ok. The chorizo wasn't all that flavorful, but I guess what can you expect in OKC. My companion had the bacon and eggs, and said the bacon was very tasty.

Food was alright. Similar to Denny's & IHOP. I think Dennys & IHOP has more pancake choices. Nothing out of the ordinary, a little overhyped. Hard to find the parking lot.

Great customer service, cheap prices, great food, and they keep my coffee full everytime I eat here. I am always satisfied.

Jimmy's Egg is reasonably priced and there is a good breakfast selection. Their ranchero sauce, raisin toast, and pumpkin pancakes are good selections. Not gourmet, but there is something tasty there for everyone.

Wow, the regional differences really come out on this one if the previous reviews are any indication. First, a disclaimer: there is no way I could eat here on a regular basis. It's heavy comfort food, and I just don't have the metabolism I used to. That said, here's what you get from Jimmy's Egg: larger portion sizes, everything cooked properly and dependably, speedy service, and reasonable (to the point of being cheap) prices. I'm down with all of the above. Here's what you're not going to get: heirloom eggs, heritage pork products, organic fresh squeezed orange juice, creative menu options, or elaborate preparations. Those are all fine, but not what you're going to find here. I've never had a mistake on my order, received bad food, received anything other than great service, or felt overcharged in any way. FWIW, not all Jimmy's Egg locations are created equal. I've been to others, but I'm partial to the Classen location. Great staff that all work together to execute a good dining experience for their guests. So, ixnay to those who would diss the Classen Egg. It serves all, and serves well. Recommended.

Best breakfast in OKC! Pros: friendly staff, prompt service, largely variable menu, healthy meal options, consistent food, casual breakfast diner, reasonable prices Cons: biscuits tasted store bought rather than homemade After trying quite a few breakfast spots, I can say confidently Jimmy's Egg is the best casual breakfast diner in OKC. I appreciated the relaxed atmosphere, overall quality food, and fair prices. As someone who looks for healthy menu options when dining out, Jimmy's Egg has an entire section of healthy and low-fat breakfast and lunch options. For omelet connoisseurs, there are 13 different vegetables alone to choose from. Creative pancake choices as well - I tried the oatmeal raisin pancake and it was delicious. Will definitely be going back!

Disgusting day old slop food! (Niceish waitres) What's up with eating breakfast in Oaklahoma City anyway? Couldn't find a thing...rather support local busineses but if there's nothing decent, what to do?

Another greasy spoon type establishment. Expect fair prices and food comparable to Denny's/IHOP (OK, perhaps a bit better) The food also seems to have a bit more of a Tex-Mex bent to it, which I like. Names of menu items are cute, I like the "garbage breakfast".

Yum! I enjoyed this lil dive place. It was packed when we got there and packed when we left. My friends from the area said this was a pretty good place and they were right. When I travel I liked to try different places and I liked this one. The food was tasty and the staff very nice, and that is usually all that I ask.

So not impressed. For a place that boasts the best breakfast in town, it really needs an over-haul. It just seemed to be a Denny's in disguise. No real "speciality" items on the menu. Same ol' toast, pancakes, omelets... Very blah. I did really, really like their Raisin Bread, though. Service was good. I'll give them that. And it's cheap too! HA! Their Web site might be the best thing about them! jimmysegg.com

Consistently the best breakfast in Okc- now it's no Cafe Kacco, but their food is great. Omelette are well done with a side of crispy hash browns and home made toast or cream gravy. Pancakes are very fluffy and delicious, and be sure to ask for a side of warm syrup. They are also a very good, and reasonably priced lunch spot. The burgers are made with fresh ground beef, and the curly fries are delicious. My personal favorite is the king club with extra pickles. With many locations throughout OKC, you will surely enjoy a breakfast or lunch at "the egg".

This was my first experience at Jimmy's Egg, and I was not impressed. Their food was mediocre at best, I didn't finish my meal. Although, their waffle was outstanding! It was probably the most delicious waffle I've had in a while. Other than that, mediocre level including their coffee. The service was exceptional, and that is why I give them 3 stars instead of 1. The entire Jimmy's Egg team seemed to be working together wonderfully! Our waitress was very sweet, and knowledgable (about the menu). Other employees walked around filling beverages and removing empty plates. The entire restaurant was dirty, greasy, and unappealing! They only have one stall bathroom for the entire restaurant, which is unacceptable for breakfast/lunch place. All in all, I will not be coming back for a 2nd visit.
