So fresh and so green... green. Loved this place. This was the first chance I have had to come here. It did not disappoint. I had the salmon salad. It was perfect. Lots of healthy greens and a really great piece of fish. They make the salad right in front of you and the dish is there waiting by the time you finish paying. No long waits for a salad here. I will be a regualar at this joint.

This location is just as clean and friendly as the location on Avondale. The employees are very sweet and the food is amazing! I called before I came here because I had my dog with me and didn't want to leave her in the car. The person said that as long as she was in a bag it'd be fine. I just love places like this that give you excellent customer service.

Over priced and underwhelmed, the flavors are a bit muted. Still a good healthe alternative to fast food, but the biggest turn off was no lunch pricing or portions.

Coolgreens is a great place to go if you're in the mood for something light, filling, but on the healthier side. You can get big but healthy salads, pizzas, sandwiches, soups. However...if you're not the type to have patience with errors on your order, I don't recommend Coolgreens. I have been about 5 times since they very first opened and I have never gone without something on my order being messed up. Either they forget to make one of our pizzas, or they give us the wrong soup, something always happens. Although, forgetting to make one of the pizzas we ordered has actually happened more than once. I don't understand the issue there. Anyway, OKC does need more restaurants with healthier options like Coolgreens, but hopefully with better service.

Awesomest place for a salad !! Customer service awesome. Manager came to check on us. Will be frequenting this place for sure. We are new to okc so this is a great healthy find. Flatbreads were also great. Only feedback is medium salad dressing was pretty heavy but that's an eaSy fix. No pics to post bc I ate all my vegetables!! They even have frozen yogurt !!

We used to love coming here. Salads were always good. After they opened a few other locations the quality went downhill (often but not always getting wilted or even mushy greens) with employees who are anything but pleasant.

I've been here 3 times. First was flatbread that was just ok loved the toppings just the bread was very dry and yogurt was good. The 2nd time was a wonderful salad. The 3rd time was last week and really enjoyed my steak wrap and potato leek soup. It was really good. It needed hot sauce. I went back and the guys were nice and gave me some siracha. The chocolate chip cookie special was also delish and healthy made with bananas. We did miss the yogurt this time though. I really wish they would bring it back. Also, they really need to put in a diaper changing area in the bathroom bc us moms meet here quite often with our babies.

Great, clean and good food but the employees at night are absolutely terrible! When I finally got someone to tend to me she literally just left after I said I wanted a build your own salad. A much nicer girl got my salad after waiting for another couple of minutes but then another new rude girl checked me out just handed my receipt to me and that was it. She didn't say thank you or care to bag my salad with napkins and silverware, I had to ask for a bag and pack it myself. I was pretty annoyed especially after paying $10 for just a to go salad. Like I said before, the food is excellent but those young employees kind of kill it for me.

The food is good and I enjoy the healthy selections. The service level has really suffered. Either the employees aren't trained well, or employees don't stay long enough to learn the ropes. Today I heard the couple in front of me being asked three times if their order was to go... by the same person. I was asked if mine was to go right after I told the guy making my wrap that I needed it to go. He even acknowledged me when I said that. There were 3 people working the line and they would ask questions "do you want chicken" I would give my answer and then that same individual wouldn't do that part of the order, or communicate it to the next person finishing my wrap. I had to remind them to add chicken to mine because after being asked two times if I wanted a protein, it was still forgotten. The ordering process is slow and frustrating and then you shell out $30 for two wraps one drink and a cookie? The employees at both the memorial location and the Avondale location are too busy joining with each other than listening to the customer and giving good service. It's a shame because it didn't use to be this way.

Food is fresh, but their online ordering is really annoying. It randomly declines cards, and they rarely have the same items in store as are options online, so prepare for a confusing mess at pick up. This literally happens every time; I think I've finally been burned enough.

I judge a restaurant by it's salad. If the greens are fresh I love it, if they are yucky - send it back. Here, the greens are perfect! While you might feel like you are paying a little more, you really aren't. Everything is fresh. The portions are good size. I made up my own salad rather than have one of the Cool Green classics. Funny how I might have everything I put in my salad in my fridge, I would never take the time to make it myself! It was yummy! On my way out I ordered a Siracha Chicken Coolwich - a wrap sandwich. It too was made fresh and placed in a "green" to go container. If you are looking for good fresh food, hit Cool Greens!

Just finished worst salad ever here. Watered down dressing. Shrimp was microwaved and malodorous Atmosphere like a cafeteria. The one in Edmond has much better service and atmosphere. Pleased with freshness at the Edmond location too.

I recently started eating salads regularly, a friend of mine asked me to lunch at coolgreens, so I obliged him. I ordered the wild sockeye salmon salad, I substituted for baby spinach. Fantastic! I was extremely pleased, lettuce was fresh, salmon was good and the dressing they used was phenomenal. The only thing I would do differently next time is get half salad, half sandwich. My buddy ordered this and his salad seemed just as big as mine but his came with a mouthwatering sandwich all for an additional $2. I will be returning to coolgreens, place is great!

I absolutely loved Cool Greens when they first opened - sadly it has gone downhill since. Common occurrences are outages, very long wait times, poor attitude, and cleanliness issues. They are always out if some essential ingredient and there is never an effort to make it right. I tried emailing there district office and got nowhere. As a vegan who loves a great salad or wrap, Cool Greens should be in regular rotation, but I've been disappointed too many times.

If you want to be told "NO" as a paying customer, then this is the place for you. After "trying" this place out many times and many different locations, I'm continuously let down by the lack of customer service and consistent outages (ie: sorry, we're out of jalapeños today). They do have many good healthy options (when available) if you're trying to eat light on-the-go and ingredients that are hard to find elsewhere. However, the lack of respect for their customers leads me to believe that any hopes of longevity for this business will be squashed if a friendlier and properly managed competitor comes to the OKC market. Me- "May I have a large To Go cup for my water?" CG- "NO. You can have the small one. It comes with a lid" *Why on earth would I be refused a normal sized water when I just bought a $13 (spicy I might add) salad?! Me- "May I get the feature wrap, but in a salad instead?" CG- "NO. Sorry, no modifications. You can only get it in a salad if you're gluten free" *What?! You can only leave off the whole wheat tortilla wrap if I tell you that I am gluten intolerant?! Me- "I would like to add shrimp to my salad" CG- "Ok, that's going to take a while" Me- "That's fine. How long are you thinking?" CG- "I don't know. A while" *Ooooooh kayyyyy. I guess I'll leave then. After giving the old CG many tries, today was my final straw. I wrote a poor review to seal my fate and I won't be stepping inside another location again. Good riddance Cool Greens, if I want to be told "No" continuously, I'll ask my boss for a raise instead.

CoolGreens has been on my list to try for a long time now, based on raves of many friends and coworkers. So after some shopping with the family on a rainy summer morning, CoolGreens sounded like the perfect place to stop in for lunch. After deciphering the menu options (wrap vs. salad or pizza), we got in line to order. The wife and I went with full salads and side of soup while our 8y/o went with the kid's pizza with chicken and fruit. In retrospect, the kid's option wasn't enough food for him as he had a few bites of our salads. We will probably just get him the half salad next time. As for the grownups, we had the Southwest Harvest and Bahamian Jerk (both with chicken) with sides of Butternut Squash soup and Southwest Chicken soup. The Southwest was a good blend of fruits, seasoning, and vinaigrette while the Bahamian left a little to be desired. I liked the mix of black beans and mango salsa, but with something called Bahamian Jerk, I guess I expected a little more zip in the flavors. As for the soups, the Southwest Chicken soup was the perfect compliment to the Harvest salad while the Butternut Squash soup only needed a bit of salt and pepper to really get the flavors to come out. In the end, I was really close to giving them a five star rating. We really enjoyed CoolGreens and plan to be back to try some of the other options and see if they can tip me over the edge.

Two workers taking a break when I came in. One girl making the salad and then having to go back and sear the tuna. Probably took twice as long as it should have. I hope the salad is worth it because I waited a while.

What is your definition of fast food? Normally for many that is going through a drive through to get GMO modified foods eaten quickly while driving. if you are in need of fast service and getting your food to you promptly with the added value of not taking ten years off your life, I suggest a trip to Cool Greens. I am a REALTOR® which means I am in the cat a lot and I have clients most of the time with me. The Cool Greens in other locations are just as good but I like this location, its spaciousness, and no matter how many people are there, its promptness. Cool Greens has great salads, wraps, and flat bread pizzas. yesterday with a San Jose investor we stopped in and I order the caprese salad which was made immediately, was incredibly tasty, and most important, healthy. The mozzarella combined with grape tomatoes, and lettuce and arugula in a light dressing was just what I needed. My investor had a chicken salad with a tasty basil sauce, and we were back in the car finishing our tour of Oklahoma City. Cool Greens also allows you to add protein, and they have beet and reasonably priced wine. This is a great place for lunch or dinner and for those on the go and health conscious, just what the Doctor ordered.

There are not a lot of vegan options in OKC, but this is one that my hubs and I can visit together and both enjoy. I really like their Corn Curry soup pared with a yummy fresh salad. I really appreciate that they have a downloadable reference guide that tells what items have animal products, dairy, gluten, soy, etc.

I'm really disappointed about what has happened to CoolGreens in the past year. When I got into town for Christmas, I had a nasty shock: they took away arugula, edamame, sesame seeds, hearts of palm, asparagus, and beets. Apparently those were their least popular options, but they were a big part of why I enjoyed eating here. The standard bland salad-bar options remain; I guess this is what happens when you try to maintain a healthy restaurant in Oklahoma. You can still rustle up a decent-tasting salad or wrap, but nothing that I would find exciting.

The Salmon on the salad I ordered was horrible. If you have a terrible product you must make the decision not to sell it. Rather than sell food that is substandard you should pull it from the menu for that day. This is the difference between a restaurant and a food place. Cool Greens is a great idea but the people making the food do just that make the food with the ingredients in front of them. A place to go put food in your mouth and chew and maybe it will be good but not this time because no one is checking the quality. I should have taken it back and complained because the price for their substandard product is high.

One of the few places in OKC you can get a good salad. The ingredients are fresh and you can build your own. Stay away from the salmon, it's expensive and very poor quality. I have had the shrimp twice, once it was very good, once not so good. The chicken is absolutely delicious. I also enjoyed the margherita flatbread pizza, it has a unique spicy taste.

Over priced Over priced, Oh did I mention that this place is over priced. I ordered a asian shrimp wrap. It was in a whole wheat toritllia ( same brand that Target sells) a few mandrian oranges, some snap peas, lettuce, carrots along with 4 decent sized under cooked shrimp and a "asian dressing" for $11 bucks. Upcharge of $2 bucks for the shrimp. It was served with a cool cous cous salad. The size of this was about a teaspoon's worth. Why even bother!

Wonderful place for eating healthy food. The staff are very friendly and professional. Parking is terrible during peak hours.

My first impression with the place was very high. The restaurant was clean, of course its brand new. I searched over the menu and decided on the soup and salad. The salmon salad was very good and the chicken chili was delicious. The portions are very good, also. The downside is that it is so expensive compared to other places to get a soup and salad. To make your own salad looks like it might get fairly expensive when you start adding extra toppings. They don't have soda, just tea and water, which is ok with me. I will try it again.

The salads hear are great! really fresh and taste great. The Pizza on the other hand are ok, nothing special for the price that your paying. The atmosphere is pretty good when its not super full. Just be willing to drop a few coin to eat here but to me its worth it.

I'm so thankful for CoolGreens, tucked in little corners of the city, it seems there is always one right when you need it. And when don't you need a crisp, yummy, healthy salad? I love that they've offered us an option that doesn't take any more time or much more money than regular fast food. This is also a great place for picky people, since you can personally oversee every single ingredient to go into your salad. I like to get the Asian shrimp salad, light on the dressing, minus the citrus and sprouts, sub extra tomatoes and cucumbers. This is also one place I always opt for water, because they have so much fruit available to add to the cold, filtered water. I usually don't get the pizzas (since I have enough pizza in my life), or the soup (because I've just never been a big soup gal). But the salads, fro yo and clean, modern feel will keep me coming back for a long time to come.

After receiving a message from the new owner saying there was a change of management, we decided to give it another shot. Went in yesterday and had one caprese wrap and one asian wrap. Boyfriend liked his caprese and I really liked the asian wrap. I thought it was so much better that they seem to have gotten rid of the super stingy policy as far as sides go and give you a real scoop of whatever you order! :) Overall I saw improvement with the service, the employees actually knew what to put in the order and the food was still great so I will be going back.

Really friendly staff most of the time serving up fresh produce! This is a great place to go for a healthy bite. A bit pricey for the amount of food you get, but sign up for the "thanx" rewards program and it will save you some bucks!

Nothing special. My flatbread thing was OK. The bread was lame in the taste department. Lots of skinny people here.

I love this place! Its kind of out of the way from where I live, but the food is more than worth the gas money!! They have wonderful salads and flatbreads. They also cater nicely to vegetarians. To top it off, they have wonderful frozen yogurt. I would recommend this restaurant anytime!

We love eating here! It's healthy, and delicious! This is a relaxed restaurant where you stand in line to order, then get a number and sit down. If you get a salad, they make it right in front of you and you get it right away. If you order a sandwich or pizza, they make it in the back. All of the food is put together fresh, so this is NOT fast food. Sometimes you may wait a little extra time for your pizza or hot sandwich, but it is WORTH THE WAIT! The food is fresh, and very healthy. They have really come up with some great recipes. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cool Greens.

Looking for a light lunch place, we found CoolGreens. The environment was clean, crisp, and inviting you enter the front door. It was well staffed with smiling, friendly staff. Large seating area was also a plus! I enjoyed the southwest chicken wrap. The fact that you can watch them make your meal is a plus. They can add or remove ingredients as needed. The wrap was presented well with a side of pasta salad. My wife had a delicious looking flatbread with fresh mozzarella, grape tomatoes, and basil. Clean plates, delicious food, good times! Next time I'm in town I will be sure to stop again!

I'm struggling with the stars I should give this location, so I will break it down below: Food: ***** The food is consistently healthy, fresh and delicious at all locations. This one is no different. Price: *** 1/2 (I know halves don't exist but whatever, I do what I want!) I would give it four stars, but if you aren't careful, the add-ons and drinks can add up. I had a salad with chicken and a water for under $9, my sister had a salad with shrimp and an iced tea and hers was almost $16. So if you are careful, it is totally reasonable. Location: **** for something out 'that way' as I see it, it is fairly accessible and parking is easy. Much better than everything at Memorial and Penn. Service: *** which makes me sad. There were two guys behind the counter who could not have been nicer. But ya know that old adage that one bad apple can spoil the bunch? A woman waited on us who was impatient, not helpful, and made us feel like we were putting her out. We were the only ones in line and it there were only a handful of customers at tables. She was later spotted eating her lunch, so maybe she was hangry and we were delaying her deliciousness, but if that is the case, ask the friendly fellas to help out while you eat. It isn't hard. I'm no math whiz, but it looks like about a 3.75. That service really killed it for me though and I don't know that I will go out of my way to return, so three is my story and I'm sticking to it.

Great place to grab a healthy lunch! A few times they have been out of one or more of the types of lettuce I prefer, but usually you have your option of field greens, iceburg, spinach and even kale! They have about 25 different veggie toppings, nuts, seeds, different cheeses, proteins, and healthy dressings made without preservatives. The only other bad point may be they recently changed the chicken (a bit dry) and raised the price, but honestly it's the healthiest place in the whole memorial area and service is usually quick and friendly.

Fantastic lunch spot! I had a soup and salad, both were delicious. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean and sunny. It is a little more expensive, but you got better ingredients and menu options that you can't find anywhere else in town.

I am so willing to drive the 15 min from work to get a healthy lunch. It's the salad bar idea revved up and put behind a counter so it is clean and fresh and credible. They have some interesting taste combinations. . . they give you a bit of some Indian quinoa with golden raisins as a side for your wrap. My favorite is the argula/bean-sprouts/olives/chickpea w/jalapeño-lime dressing. The tomato soup was good. . but I hope it was healthy. Not sure. Better than other places around it. Easy parking, lots of space, and wifi. They have good tea and a little fro-yo place as well.

I had such high expectations! I was so excited when they were building and couldn't wait for them to open. When the moment arrived it was such a letdown. Limited menu, which was actually okay because I knew it would be more of a "salad-y" place. Waaaaaaaay overpriced for what you get. We shared dishes so I tried the bar-b-que chicken pizza and a chicken wrap. The pizza was sparse on toppings, and was far too spicy. The chicken wrap was huge, lots of stuff inside, but was really bland. While I am sure they are trying to convey a modern look, the atmosphere comes across more as "we're better than you and you are lucky to get to eat here." It is an uncomfortable space overall. For the price, the food should be better.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
