Classics is a staple of the Oklahoma City dive bar scene. Some rules to follow: Always get a moon bomb. Make friends with Bill and Phil, they have some great stories. Tip the bartender well, they are all super awesome!

The best true dive bar in OKC. Forget Edna's and the Fry (they're great-- but not true dives). In here the people know your name, there is a bar dad, and you can't pass up their specials of moon bombs and apple pie shots.

I had my first White Castle burger laying on the floor at this place. When the weather is nice the patio is great. Ask for the world famous Moon Bomb! Place reminds me of Patty's Pub on Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Great place to get weird!

I drove past this place many a time before I actually stopped in. Once I did though, I wanted to kick myself for not getting here sooner...no pun intended. This place is the closest thing to an Austin dive bar that I've been able to find and I love it for just that reason. Nothing like a little piece of home and a hilariously friendly staff to make you feel welcome. I would feel remised if I didn't point out that it does get smokey in here, for those that are turned off by this fact. Just because I like this place doesn't mean that you will.

Great place for a cheap beer or drink with great service! If you're hungover try a Bloody Mary shot! If you're feeling frisky try an apple pie shot or a moonbomb! There's currently no grill,but they are working on it, in the meantime though they have a kick a$$ snack rack! All their regular customers are friendly and inviting unlike some bars I've been into! Stop in, have a drink, maybe play some foozeball!

So I love, love, love drinking at Classics! Is it smoky? yes, are the regulars grumpy? yes, do they serve fancy food or complicated cocktails? no, is major fun to be had there? yes! I mean what other bar in OKC can you go to in your yoga pants and still have a great time?! The drinks are cheap, the bartenders are quick and the crowd is always great people-watching. Give it a shot on a night when you just want to take it easy.
