Food Suggestions to Maintain Cholesterol Level at Applebee's
Ate here and the food was good, service was great, portion sizes were quite large, food was nice and hot. I was reluctant to eat here due to the bad reviews but I'm glad I gave it a try for myself. The restaurant was clean and relaxed. No loud music like other places.

The bread was a bit dried and the portions were definitely smaller from my last visit. Either that or the bowl was much larger. The dessert was however was absolutely fabulous. The portion was enough to put smiles on my wife and daughter. So we will probably come back, but not for awhile.

Apparently this location doesn't have the normal happy hour from 4-6pm with the half off appetizers and drink specials. The bartender also seems to think that Southern comfort belongs in a Long Island Ice Tea, even after I told him how to make it. I will not be visiting this location again.

I was skeptical to eat here because of the previous reviews but I'm glad we did. The chicken oriental salad was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised. Our server Gregory was very good and attentive even though he was the only one working with multiple tables. The negative side of our visit was that the manager was talking about other customers (negatively) loudly and seemed to be annoyed that he was even here.

I haven't eaten inside this restaurant, only utilized their carside option. However, from the time I called in to the time I drove to the restaurant and had my food in hand was less than 15 minutes. I don't think that could happen eating inside the restaurant. The woman on the phone was the same person who brought it out to my car. Christina N. (as it says on the receipt) was friendly and fast and made sure my order was correct before it was delivered to me at the curb. I hope the dine-in option is as good as this.

This Applebee's is decent. It's not my first choice though. Service is hit and miss. Food is usually okay, just takes too long to get most of the time.

The service was great, but the food was okay, nothing special. I only come to Applebee's once in a blue moon,. Definitely not my kind of food, but I will say that their boneless chicken with sauces is decent.

No one to greet us when we walked in the door. Music too loud. Waitress never offered to bring more water. Food was worse than what used to be served on airplanes and the salad tasted plastic.

At first, the restaurant was named T.J. Applebee's RX for Edibles and Elixirs. After the concept was acquired by W.R. Grace and Company, the restaurant was renamed as Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar. Later the company and the Applebee's concept changed hands with Abe Gustin and John Hamra who started the first Applebee's franchise restaurant in Kansas City.
