I really love this place. The California roll is good. I love the curry selection. The jasmine rice is really good, as well. My kids even like to come here. The atmosphere is nice but the patio is a little loud. We have always had good service, as well. I love to eat local and this is a good option.

Their menu has good variety including sushi, noodles, rice, ... thing you expect from a normal Asian fusion restaurant to have. Happy Hour sushi is pretty great. We went once for an early dinner, and they were so busy that the fastest seating we could get was on the patio. It was fine, but I wish they had some kind of cover over the patio.... I was sweating over my food.... ... Not literally, but it felt like I was getting burnt. Bring your sunglasses if you want to sit outside. But anyway, their food is good, and their service is good, so I recommend it.

meh....Can I say....poor people in Oklahoma...can not even get good sushi....? I went there twice and ordered rolls and sashimi, the restaurant environment is nice but I have to say the food quality is pretty poor. As you know the quality of rice is very important for sushi. the rice in the rolls I had was disappointing. It was dry, the taste was like a little raw or not cooked, or like the rice had been left out for too long. or maybe it was not cooked from the right kind of sushi rice. It's just not right. I have to say even home cooked rice from good quality new rice by a normal rice cooker should have a higher quality than that. The first time I went late at night and I thought it might because the rice was left out for too long...the second time I went in afternoon and it was still the same. so I guess it must be something wrong with the rice or the way they cook it. and if the rice is not right, I don't expect any of the sushi and rolls in this restaurant to be good. then the sashimi. The salmon sashimi was a bit too dry. it does not have the rich and creamy taste that salmon sashimi should have...and there were lots pieces of lemon on it, which affected the taste of salmon too much. and because the salmon itself does not taste so good, it does not taste good with lemon flavor either...it also made me think maybe there are so many lemons on it because the fish was not so fresh... Also the shape of the pieces is pretty bad....while a nice piece of sashimi should be in a smooth shape and a size that is good for eat. but the pieces I got here had a sort of rough edge (looks like the knife was not sharp enough to cut...) and was skinny and long...which just does not look good. I had higher expectation on this restaurant because the environment is nice and the website looks professional too. But I have to say the sushi & sashimi here does not match the quality of the look of restaurant.

It always consistently good... It is just a tad overpriced but I would highly recommend it!

When I was first taken on a date here I was pretty skeptical. The building is shaped like an old Pizza Hut. But on the inside it's really nice modern decor. The Asian dishes are pretty good, and I've had the sushi, which was also shockingly good. They lose one star because I thought the food was slightly overpriced.

This place looks a bit odd it must have been a pizza hut that was converted. The inside looks nice and the selection was pretty nice. The best thing about this place was the sushi it was great! I would like to go here again but as I was just driving through and probably never be in Norman, Ok again. But if your looking for some good sushi this place is a great

I've been ordering take away lately cause I'm too lazy to go inside. Now, the food is always great but I just can't get over the prices of some things. I get spicy basil noodles and you ADD $2 for tofu? and most specialty (i.e. not japanese) rolls are around $10. That's getting pretty pricey considering In the Raw has the same kind of rolls for $6. But In the Raw is a mile away and O is two blocks away. I pay for convenience. Don't get me wrong, I am really happy O is here and will continue to support the business, I just wish the prices were shaved down to be more competitive with other similar establishments in the area.

I've never had a bad experience here despite the reviews. I've been coming for years with groups and just the family. Happy hour offers some great deals. I love the tempura shrimp / vegetable appetizer. The Cowboy Roll is my favorite (tempura blackened tuna). If you're alone or a couple, sit at the sushi bar. Strike up a conversation with the sushi chef. They're conversational if you speak up and you get your food fast even if you don't.

My husband and I took our family (7 people) to this restaurant. Food was fabulous! We had 3 California rolls, the heaven roll and 3 salmon rolls, spicy California roll, totaling 8 rolls in all 2 appetizers and 3 desserts. I selected a white wine and my husband and another adult had beers with our meal. We ordered one kids meal. Service was extremely lacking. Not attentive and we had to wave her down for any type of service. To top it off when she brought out our check they had added 20% gratuity to our bill. I guess since we had four kids with us they assumed we wouldn't tip. We normally tip well above 20% so I guess if you look on the bright side they did save us money. But it's extremely frustrating (especially when you have bad service) not to be given the option of what you will tip. Also makes me wonder since they knew gratuity would be included in our check they wouldn't have to worry about waiting on our table. There are plenty of other great sushi places to choose from in the Moore/Norman area. We won't be going back!

Really great waitstaff helps diners ignore the Steven Segal decor. Fast, friendly and inexpensive. The Asian sampler plate is fun to share although the crab rangoons are much like a crabby Toaster Strudel. My Heaven Roll sushi really hit the spot for this whitest of the non-ethnic ladies. The Soba noodles -- which the menu claims are a diners' favorite - was a miss for me because of weird cinnamon aftertaste.

Good and prompt service. We had the vegetarian rolls, chicken cashew and Osoba noodles. Chicken cashew was flavorful but not spicy. I really liked the Osoba noodles. I had them make it 5 star spicy and absolutely loved it. Will definitely visit again.

I feel bad giving out less than three star reviews tonight, but I guess it was just one of those days. Anyways.. We went to go out and try O Asian Fusion tonight for dinner. We walked in and were unpleasantly greeted with dislike. They were packed tonight and it seemed like they didn't want us there. There were two hostesses in which one was hosting and bussing tables, and another got our drink order which was just water. The restaurant itself was extremely warm. The air seemed to not be working well, and that to me is a sign of danger when serving raw fish. I really wanted to try their cooked sushi since, I can't eat anything raw at the moment, but didn't want to get sick due to how the food was being handled. We sat down for five minutes and told our waitress we were leaving, I didn't want to be rude but I couldn't handle the heat, and it didn't seem sanitary inside the restaurant. We probably won't be returning anytime soon.

My husband and I love this place! The yellow curry is so delicious. My husband gets the firecracker chicken every time with garlic rice and he is always very satisfied. The sushi is great for Oklahoma. We miss the sushi we used to get on the coast but for the Midwest this place does a decent job.

Love the o'mein and garlic fried rice!!! Highly recommend this place to everyone who has not been, great patio too! They take reservations too.

The appetizers (calamari and dumplings) were great. The Firecracker Chicken was cooked and seasoned well, but it was a little dry. The Spicy Basil Noodles (with chicken) was great, but the chicken was dry. The main courses were well-sized. The appetizers were half off. The whole meal didn't kill the wallet, so I'll probably come back.

Great place with a chill atmosphere. Staff has always been friendly and the food is great. Always recommend the heaven roll and the firecracker stir fry. They recently updated their wine list and even carry a Japanese whisky!!! This place is definitely going somewhere!!!

A friend introduced me to O this week while I was out visiting her. I love a good Asian restaurant, and I have to say I was pleased with the food and the service at this restaurant. For a former Pizza Hut, they have done a nice job making the inside look far from your childhood favorite pizza place. I ordered the Tom Yum soup for something spicy and salty. It was tasty, and the portion was huge. I can't imagine what the bowl is like! The spicy garlic stir fry was my choice for dinner. It was a bit hard to decide with so many option on the menu, but this was a customer favorite, so I thought I'd give it a try. The presentation was wonderful. The broccoli was cooked well - still crisp and not soggy. I ordered the plate with chicken, and a spice level of 4. It wasn't spicy enough for me, but my friend shuddered when I ordered it that spicy. I ordered it with jasmine rice, but I'm not quite sure that it actually was jasmine rice. I typically cook with jasmine rice at home, but this did not have the same texture or the tell-tale scent it usually has. To me it seemed more like goya medium grain rice. They were out of jasmine tea, so instead I opted for oolong. It wasn't bad, but there were no sweeteners on the table so it wasn't exactly to my liking. I splurged for dessert. I tried the cheesecake roll, but it wasn't anything special. Actually the first thought that came to mind, was that it was something from the OK state fair - I've been there actually lest you think I'm some New Yorker who doesn't know what she 's talking about. Presentation was good though - bonus points for that. Overall, I had a pleasant experience, but there are things that could be improved upon such as: cleanliness - the center bar/former fountain thing in the middle seemed dirty and sitting next to it I could see stains and what not. The table also looked as if there maybe have been some residue left behind. Our server was great - she was pleasant and attentive. However there seemed to be too many other workers there for the amount of people in the restaurant. This may have been because OU was playing in the sugar bowl that night and everyone was home enjoying the game... not sure. A solid three stars for O. Food was good, and I'd come back again based on that!

O has become hit and miss, but when it's a hit, it's pretty damn good. Atmosphere: 4 stars Sometime the music is a little loud and with surrounding conversations the restaurant can get a little loud, but otherwise, it's pretty typical. The restaurant is a remodeled Pizza Hut, and they've done a great job at remodeling it. It's darker inside and with nicer feel. The dining area is pretty open, and fairly small. There is one large table in a corner for groups more private. Benches along the sides with pillows offer a trendy feel. The sushi bar is at the back and you can watch the chefs prepare items from most seats in the dinning area. If you are not into that, there is a TV there to distract you as well. There is a full bar at the front with some TV's that are viewable from throughout the restaurant as well. Some people think this place is appropriate for kids, but I don't see it. It's not really upscale like you need to dress nice, but it seems to attract a younger crowd and couples without kids. Another queue, there is no kids menu! Likely for a reason. On the few occasions I've been here with kids who are not happy or well behaved, it clearly bothers other people and the staff doesn't really know what to do with them. It echos though the whole restaurant and really ruins it. They do have high chairs though for the few who have well behaved kids. Wait Staff: 4 stars Most of the time the wait staff is great. They get the orders right, they bring items out quickly, and make sure you are all set. Menu: 4 stars The menu has lots of creative features, as well as some of your basics. They have stir-frys, curries, noodles and rice, and suchi. They have some unique twists on suchi rolls like the college roll, which seems to be popular. They also have a small selection of desserts. Food: 4 stars When the food is good, it's great! Typically things are not too salty. Spice is a bit on the mild side compared to a traditional Thai restaurant, but you just need to learn your level here. I've had the stir fries, noodles, fried rice, appetizers, and sampled some suchi and desserts, and most of it was really good. The desserts were disappointing, but everything else has been wonderful. Now for when it's not good... There have been a few times I've been where the chicken is awful. It's been grisly before, and on a number of occasions, the chicken taste and texture has been like it's been cooked previously and reheated. It gets dry, rubbery, and has that off taste you get from reheating chicken. For a place that's supposed to make everything fresh, that's a deal breaker for me. But it's rare enough that I still come back, because most the time, it's really good. They make their sauces from scratch as well, and the flavors are pretty good and balanced. My husband loves the sushi and says for the price, it's great. It's not stellar, but it's sushi you can eat often without bankrupting yourself. Price: 4 stars Prices are a tad on the high side, but I think you are paying for the ambiance and better wait staff more than anything else. Compared to my favorite hole-in-the-wall Thai place, it's more expensive, smaller portions, but better service and nicer atmosphere. And while I say smaller portions, it's still plenty. I'm a person with an appetite, and I never leave hungry. Overall: 4 stars Yes, you may have a mediocre meal here from time to time, but overall, it's a good place with many options, and different twists on your usual Asian cuisine. It's good enough most of the time that I keep coming back for more. Just wish their quality was a little more consistent.

This is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but they have nice dark wood inside, simple but comfortable decor. The sushi is excellent but I usually go straight for the stir fry options. I've had the cashew, ginger, and basil stir fried and they have all quickly become my favorites. The servings are large and filling: a big scoop of rice (garlic rice is the best), and a steaming helping of veggies with chicken is how I get everything. Spice levels are very low compared to other restaurants, so if you like a little heat, get level 4-5 or you won't be able to taste it. Service is almost always good. I've never had a bad experience here. The management is also very accommodating. Highly recommended!

Three times we have been to this restaurant in the past two years. I keep forgetting how much I dislike it, which is the only reason I keep coming back. Maybe finally writing a review will keep me from making this mistake again. First the food. I understand it's"fusion" so it wouldn't be fair to compare the menu with what I have enjoyed abroad. But in my opinion there are definitely better choices in Norman. The sushi is on par in both quality and price with just about anyone else around. Nothing special there. The decor is nice , as noted in other reviews it used to be a pizza hut. They did pretty well. Service has always been slow here no matter what. Busy or not it seems they revel in making people wait. Ive never had any of the staff act rudely though. There is one particular person there who causes me a great deal of annoyance. He seems to be a food runner/bus boy. Each time we have visited , I have watched him do some very annoying things. This will take a few lines to explain. First off, the kitchen has only one two-way door. It's obviously due to fitting this restaurant (and bar) into an existing space. So, understandably for safety's sake the employees need to be exta careful before passing through the door. Well this young man takes it a few steps beyond. He loudly announces his approach to the kitchen and kicks the door open. Imagine listening to this over and over through the course of your meal. Ugh. I have seen him smirking while doing this which tells me he clearly knows his game has been disguised as a necessary measure. What defeats this concept is that I have yet to witness any other employee doing the same. Second...well the door routine and smugness of this individual causes me to focus my attention on him and look for other fault. If that was his goal then he has certainly succeeded. While the sushi chef/cook ( I simply don't know his credentials) so carefully prepares and handles our food while wearing gloves, then why on earth should it be okay for this young man to stick his fingers in our food??? Assuming they are for carryout orders, I have seen him palm sushi rolls to the kitchen on several different occasions...before AND after hadling a dish towel/dirty dishes/etc... Ill stop with that and say that the food overall isnt bad but I have a real problem with paying $14 for a plate of bulgogi that is mostly stir-fried vegetables. I can do much better at home. The kid with behavioral isses trumps their food and the prices make even that a losing proposition. Sorry, O Asian Fusion...I gave you several chances. I won't be back.

Stopped by with my sons and ordered the trio boat, and the rangoons. The rangoons were good, especially the filling. That's where the dinner went downhill. Anything that had seaweed was horrible. The miso soup had a odd fishy flavor, like the seaweed strips in it were old. Next was the seaweed salad, the seaweed wasn't bad, but conceptually an awful dish. Felt like eating a plate of stringy slimy worms. The sushi came and immediately I smelled the seaweed and it smelled old. Any of the rolls with the seaweed on the outside tasted nasty. The sashimi and other sushi was fine and so was almost everything without seaweed on it. The shrimp was nasty, had to spit it out which I have never done in a restaurant! I informed the waiter who seemed not to really care. Paid the check and got the hell out. Luckily we weren't sick that night, although the next morning was not pleasant.

Great for dine in or carry out! I love the cashew chicken (the veggies are always cooked well and very fresh) with garlic fried rice (I add Hot and Sour soup in the winter.) For a sushi option: I do the Dragonfly or Crazy Cajun! Always delicious!!

I'm not sure if O Asian Fusion used to actually be better, or if I just thought I liked it better because I was excited about a sushi restaurant so close to where I live. Either way, I'm not a big fan of the sushi at this point. There is a great variety of food but nothing there stands out as really yummy. I do enjoy the chilled out environment and that it's usually easy to get a table!

Well the appetizers were definitely amazing the fried dumplings were delicious however the beef bulgogi wasn't very appealing it tasted like fajita meat . They had grilled vegetables it did not taste like traditional beef bulgogi which was a disappointment and my wife got beef teriyaki and it basically tasted identical as the beef bulgogi . However I know that there is more menu options but these two items I would not try again .

One of my favorite sushi restaurants in town. Love the Heaven and Sexy Lady rolls. I also love making my husband order the Sexy Lady over the phone. Speaking of that, we tend to order more take out here than we dine in. Friday and Saturday nights you should expect a crowd. It's one of the few nicer places to eat on the east side of town and it sees a lot of traffic, especially during football season. I have never been disappointed with anything I've ordered there and the one time there was a small mistake, the fixed it promptly and gave us free dessert.

This review is for the SUSHI, NOT other side of menu... Just moved to Norman and was so excited to see that less than a mile from my house was an actual restaurant where my FAVORITE food is served: SUSHI! Having lived all over the US and making it a point to seek out good sushi wherever I go I will pass on these pearls of wisdom: Save yourself the money and go to the grocery store sushi case and dive in. Or even any random Chinese food buffet would be a better or equal bet. Mediocre is too lenient of a word to describe it. The sushi at O is by leaps and bounds the worst sushi I have eaten anywhere... Ever. This is the first review I've written and I felt I had to say something based on the pretty good ratings this place has. Hopefully this helps any other sushi heads out there trying to find a place worthwhile. Only been to one other, Full Moon, and that place blew doors off this place; ingredients, variety and presentation wise. On a positive note :) we may still go back for the other side of the menu and give that a try because the ambience was kinda cool. It's clear that the building used to be an old Pizza Hut so they get cool points for repurposing the place!

It was 4pm on a tuesday.... 2-4pm is never any restaurant's ideal time for their "A Game". _____ Ice Tea ~ excellent Shiro Miso Soup ~ Exotic soybean broth with tofu, wakame and scallions (good flavor, but just warm soup not piping hot) Eel Roll ~ (BBQ eel/cucumber) sesame seeds/eel sauce) Excellent Spicy Basil Noodles~ (Traditional Thai Spice with bamboo shoots, onion, bell peppers and fresh basil) I asked for #5 heat, it did not bring any heat to the table. I could see the red pepper flakes and there was some back heat, but no way to tell where it came from, but come on even my mom could had eaten this heat level. Lots of flat noodles, not much basil (that was very disappointing), bell peppers were rough cut like they were prepped for fajitas. Pork was good a little dry, under the abundance of sweet brown sauce. The very nice looking dining room.

O used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Norman. Meeting someone who is coming through town and want to show them a good restaurant? I would meet them at O... Date night? O would be on the list. However, that has all changed. In the past year and a half this place has gone from good 9 times out of 10 to its current average which is about two or three times out of 10. And that's if I'm being generous. The orange chicken, for example - used to be so spot-on delicious and had the best flavored sauce. The last four or five times I have gotten it the chicken itself is hard and overcooked, the breaded coating tastes awful, and the sauce was really lackluster. I have always had good luck with their sushi rolls, but we have had terrible luck with timely service the last few times we have ordered rolls... We waited over 45 minutes for two rolls last time we were there. It wasn't "wait forever" good. Recent experiences have been bad enough that if someone else suggests it I usually offer up something else.

Takes way to long for mediocre food. The men's bathroom is never clean and it's only one stall, so you'd think they could atleast take out the trash. 2 stars is because the back patio is good for beers with buddies if you feel like waiting and drinking while they create a California roll.

O Asian Fusion. Ex Pizza-Hut turned good guy. The hero of the east side. Weekend reservations recommended. It is fair to say that there are very few other serious restaurants in a 3 mile radius of O, and pretty much everyone knows this, so rightfully it stays busy. To be squarely critical, though, the robust "Asian fusion" menu would be "borderline typical" in a metropolitan city. Yes they have great sushi, great noodles, and great curries under one mansard roof, but we have a word for that in Oklahoma. We call it Chinese food. Vegetarians will find plenty to eat, adventurous eaters can definitely find something on the menu, and picky eaters or those with allergies will have no trouble communicating their needs to the staff, if you catch my drift. If you don't catch my drift it means the staff speaks english. I know I'm critical of the use of the word "fusion", but I have a theory that it does help deter some of the less desirable patrons. I've never had to contend with a kids birthday party or a redneck social and I believe it is because the restaurant is not called "O Chinese Food." Also, as a result, I've never had a server who is upset because they just had to clean up smashed Cheerios, or got a $5 tip on $100 worth of Bud LIght. The decor is tasteful and well done. There is a sushi bar and a bar bar on opposite sides of the dining room. There is a cute semi-private area in the corner for small parties. There are seats where you can see the TV, but the picture on the TV looks like its from a homemade antenna. Seriously i've seen clearer pictures on AM radio, folks. Its the only glaring inclusion in an otherwise very nice interior, which, I might add is quite un-hutlike. In their never ending quest to make O not look like a Pizza Hut they added a very nice looking patio. I didn't think that was a great idea- exposed to 12th street and literally surrounded by the dumpsters of (multiple) fried chicken/chicken finger kitchens, a gas station, and a BBQ joint. I sat outside recently, however, and was pleasantly surprised at how few hoosiers drove by and that I was never aware of any of the neighboring businesses' odors. Which brings me to the most important part, or arguably the important part. What is truly great about going to O Asian Fusion is that you forget about where you are. They offer a complete dining escape devoid of the usual reminders that you are on the wrong side of the tracks in a town thats just pretty cool in a state that was the last guy picked for kickball.

Decent sushi, the dish I ordered was a supposed 4/5 on the spice scale and didn't taste as such. But the crab Rangoon was pretty good.

One of the better, non-chained restaurants in the area. Some good noodle and curry dishes on the menu; fantastic crab Rangoon and a decent selection of sake to wash it down. The sushi is on par too.

This Pizza Hut turned failed restaurant turned Asian mainstay in Norman is in a strange location, but it brings a much needed presence of better dining to the east side. They offer a nice variety of Asian food options, from sushi to curry to stir fry. The place is pretty small and does stay busy, so expect a wait or opt for their nicely done patio (just be prepared for the noise & smell of a busy, fast-food filled intersection. The restaurant was also very hot inside. I'm normally the girl who puts on a cardigan the second she gets inside a restaurant, but I was even starting to sweat in here. The service was very good. Our server was friendly and helpful, answering questions and offering suggestions. She was quick with refills too. As for the food, I would probably only give it 3.5 stars. The tempura shrimp and veggie platter we started with was not actually tempura. They used some sort of breadcrumb (not even panko) and fried it until it tore up your mouth like Cap'n Crunch cereal. The tako salad was well done, good flavor without overpowering spice. The college roll was pretty good, but too sweet overall. I swear the sauce on top (which was not listed on the menu description) was honey mustard. It had "tempura" shrimp inside too. The thunder roll was good, with several great ingredients, but alas the whole roll was "tempura" fried. The angel roll was the best thing on the table. It was very fish focused with little distraction, which made it stand out as simply well done sushi. I really want to try other things that don't include tempura now because the tables around us were filled with delicious looking plates of fried rice, sushi and more. For the so so food experience, I definitely want to return still.

This is one of the very best restaurants in the OKC metro, and certainly one of Norman's finest. The sushi is outstanding, and prepared to order, their other dishes are also well worth checking out. The only downside is if you come on a cold night. 90% of the customers wore their coats throughout. We would have stayed for coffee and desert, but it was just too cold.

Definitely one of the better sushi places in the area. I loved the Heaven roll. They give you a lot of meat/yellowfin/tuna in each bite, as opposed to too much rice. They have a good variety of sushi and unique combinations of ingredients in different rolls that you may not find in other typical sushi places. Tom Yum is AMAZING!! SO much tastier and better than the Chinese hot and sour soup. This restaurant is a smaller space inside then I expected, but this place makes a great date night. They also have an outside patio and sometimes live music, which I think is pretty cool to hang out and eat sushi. The waitress was really nice and kept checking on us. The only thing I think would make it a 5 star experience is if the space inside was larger because there was a large group of people next to us having a party and they were a little too close for comfort. As of right now, this will be my go-to sushi craving place.

I love O. I think the menu is more varied and appealing than In The Raw and the prices are decent. Their logo reminds me of the look of bird droppings, and it gets loud inside, but I don't have any other complaints.

Not bad! As a vegetarian I appreciate that O has plenty of vegetarian entrees. I went with the Japanese-inspired cuisine and ordered a garden roll (mixed veggies), a cucumber roll, and the Heavenly veggie (tempura sweet potato & asparagus). The Heavenly veggie was SO good! Though I'm generally a fan of fried veggies & rice, ya know? The rolls were really filling, and I think I stuffed myself too much (but it was worth it!). I also loved the seaweed salad & miso soup. My husband had the yellow curry w/ veggies, and he said it was great! He also noted, though, that a 4 on a scale of 1-5 (heat factor) was about what a 4 is on a 1-10 scale in San Diego... Meaning that a 4 isn't very spicy. So... If you're used to spicy food, you might be disappointed. I didn't think his curry was very spicy, and I'm kind of a wimp. Anyway, just something to be noted! Overall, a place I'd visit again.

Great tasting food and helpful staff. Only complaint may be that it get's a little cramped when busy and that the windows are drafty so on a cold day you need to sit on the pillows they've supplied around the outside bench seating.

A pretty good place for sushi in Norman. I think they did a good job with redecorating the place. It has a very cool ambience to it. I think their happy hour is a pretty decent deal. I like the calamari they had their and their rolls were good. Not the best I've ever had, but still good for the price. Definiely better than In The Raw

Myself and a friend went for dinner. I had stir fry and he had sushi. They were not busy. The service was not that good. After a long wait the server left the kitchen with my stir fry. Half way to the table the cook came out and told the server to return to the kitchen with my order. I do not think my friends sushi was ready. After another long wait they brought out his sushi along with my stir fry. They did not recook my stir fry so when I got order it was cold and meat was very tough. The worst stir fry I have ever had. Not worth the pub this place has gotten.

I was in OKC visiting my family over the weekend; my bro-in-law had a craving for some sushi. After a bit of searching, we ran across O Asian Fusion. I knew the location immediately: a former Pizza Hut I used to frequent as a kid and teenager. After Pizza Hut vacated the premises, there was a chain of failed restaurants... I had measured expectations about O. First, and most important, the food: stellar. We started off with an order of steamed dumplings served with house soy sauce (which was very, very good). The dumplings were tender, light and just enough subtle flavor to set the mood. For dinner, I order the Soba Noodles with chicken. They were delicious and packed full of flavor. Very low in oil, quite good. The waitress asked if I'd like them "spicy" and if so, how spice on a scale of 1 to 5. Given past experience at "Asian Fusion" restaurants, I knew the spice would be hardly detectable... I asked for a 5 (hottest). Compared to more authentic Asian cuisine, the dish served would hardly rate as a 1 on the spicy scale. Still, my meal was very good. My sister ordered "Spicy Basil" which is her Thai/Asian standby meal. She ordered a spicy level 3 and her dish was by far more spicy than mine... I was a bit jealous. I got to sample a taste, it was very good. My bro-in-law ordered off the sushi menu: Solo Boat. We had the pleasure of sitting at a table directly in front of the sushi bar so we got to watch the boat being assembled. It was indeed a boat filled with more sushi he could eat. I had to jump in and assist by consuming a piece of his California Roll. I have to say, this was probably one of the better California Rolls I've ever eaten. Every few minutes, my bro-in-law would exclaim the deliciousness of each variety of sushi. I think he was a fan. The restaurant has a full bar and looked to have a few regulars hanging about. I also noticed a few take out orders. For better or worse, the restaurant is hosted by a crew of highly quaffed high school girls. They were quite friendly and very enthusiastic to put forward a nice image for the restaurant. The wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The only detraction I could mention was the music which was almost loud in volume and was attempting to set the ambiance to that of a night club or lounge. Perhaps it was my memories of the pizza buffet, but it just wasn't working for me. However, my sister said she was enjoying the music. All in all, I give O Asian Fusion a hearty two thumbs up.

Best Sushi in Norman!!! I lived in Japan for a couple of years and yearn for sushi on a regular basis. O has the best nuevo-sushi I have tasted. Although not authentic by any standards, the sushi is so good I don't even care!!! The Heaven roll is like crack!! I'm addicted!!! That said. I have not seen or tasted anything on the cooked menu that I liked. Most the cooked entrees (including those on the kid's menu) are filled with chunks of your standard filler vegetables (carrots, bell peppers and onions) which I am not a big fan of (and neither are my kids). Some consider O a bit pricey (and by Norman standards it is) but the sushi is well worth the price! They also have daily lunch specials.

I have been here multiple times and always had the absolute best Asian inspired dishes. Very fresh and beautiful appearance. The sushi is wonderful as well. I had the lunch special, which was the Bento box. Cashew beef, California roll, asain salad, jasmine rice, spring roll, and a drink for $10. Also had the dumplings. Yumm. Awesome deal and really awesome food.

I've been coming to O since they opened, and it's always been really good. Good food good prices, good service. I went there recently with a friend and was talked into ordering the yellow curry by our server (instead of the green which is what I would normally get). Holy wow! It's delicious. So delicious that I ordered it to go last night and ate it for dinner last night, then lunch and dinner again today. The only thing I would recommend is asking for extra rice (I get the jasmine) if you're getting it to go. Their sushi is pretty tasty as well, and they have a decent selection of wines. As far as Asian dining in Norman goes, this is the place to be.

Curry was so so, the sushi and rolls were pretty good, not great. Beware the bar, my drink was terrible. My waitress was a little hard to find at times. Overall, good food, ok service, probably will not go back though.

I have just had the take-out Sushi. If you go inside it is an amazing transformation from the outside which is a skeleton of an old Pizza Hut. This place is great.

Being of Asian descent, I knew I would not get the best Asian foods here in the Midwest. Asian Fusion looked very promising so I gave it a shot. My girlfriend and I got seats right away and were able to order shortly after. Upon ordering, it took the sushi "chefs" over an hour and 45 minutes to prepare our three rolls. Yes, it was dinner and it was a full house. But are you serious? Having been completely hungry and frustrated at the time, the waitress offered us and several other tables a free appetizer, which was nice I suppose. And finally another half an hour after this, we finally got our sushi. You would think waiting this long would mean they'd be really good or at least ok... but they were the WORST sushi rolls I've ever had in my life. They were sloppily rolled as if by a child and were no thicker than a finger. We reluctantly ate their poor excuse for sushi and wound up paying over 25 dollars. This was the most horrifying experience I've ever had, not only at a sushi restaurant, but of any restaurant PERIOD. I would never go there again unless they changed management and produced food as good as their furniture and seating arrangements.

Excellent Asian restaurant. The first time my husband and I went we had sushi. I had vegetarian rolls and he had a sushi platter with a bunch of different types of nigiri. We were both very pleased. The second time we took some out-of-town guests. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the O Cashew stir fry with tofu. The flavor was great, the vegetables were fresh, the tofu was crispy. The dish was a little too salty for me but still tasted great. The positives for me are: good food overall, large menu, lots of vegetarian choices. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because of the atmosphere. They've done an excellent job making it look nice, considering it used to be a Pizza Hut. But if you sit near the fountain it smells like chlorine, which can spoil a meal. And if you go when it's busy it's really loud and difficult to hear the people at the same table as you. Overall, I'd recommend it as a great place to eat.

The first time I went it was pretty good. The last few times have been less than up to par. The rolls do not taste fresh to me. The sauces , eel And spicy, taste off. The spider roll in particular was not good. It just wasn't very good. If you want fresh tasty sushi that is not Americanized to the point of cream cheese and fried food overload, go to Tokyo in okc, sake in norman, or gogo sushi in Moore.

Obviously everyone's first reaction is "former pizza hut building" but the inside is really nice. I visited during the summer and we ate on the patio, very delightful. The food was incredible too, full of flavor.
O Asian Fusion is the best, absolute best sushi restaurant in Norman, OK. Thank god! I thought there was no such thing but there is! They got my spicy tuna just the way I like it, the only place out of 4 sushi restaurants my bf and I tried out. We definitely found our sushi place! Their menu is great! A lot to choose from and good pricing for the amount of food they give out. I love their happy hour which is from 3-6pm, certain sushi rolls are $3.50 each and appetizers are half off! Definitely will be back, wouldn't be surprised if we went back there tmr!

Best sushi in Norman! I was surprised at how good the sushi was at O Asian Fusion. I decided to check this place out based on a friend's recommendation. Right when you walk in the door you will notice that this place has been totally transformed into a chic new restaurant. The interior is impressive. This place has great atmosphere featuring low lighting, use of dark colors, faux stone on the walls, dark stained wood tables/chairs everything, and a huge glass fountian centered in the dining area with their logo etched on it. I couldn't believe this place used to be a Pizza Hut! Wow! They have a wide range of sushi as well as thai food. The rolls are very creative, see my photo of O's Super Roll (tempura fried and rolled in red roe). I tried the fried spring rolls for appetizer and sushi rolls for dinner. The waiter recommended the hamachi roll and he was right, it was a great roll for only $6. The sushi rolls range in price from $5-18 per roll. The cheaper rolls are smaller in size, so order two of them if you go this route. They serve asian beer (including the large Sapporo in a can) and they also feature a full bar. All of their desserts are shipped in straight from La Baguette (local Oklahoma French bakery with exquisite desserts), so you know they're awesome. I recommend the chocolate mousse for dessert. Their happy hour is challenging to remember. Saturday they have happy hour from 11-3pm. Mon-Thurs they feature quick happy hour specials (so drink FAST!) from 2-3pm, 5-6pm, and 9-10pm. During these 1 hour time slots they have 1/2 price appetizers and $3 sushi rolls (choose from a list of about 6 rolls - see photo), $1.75 domestic beers, and $6 martinis. The restaurant is always packed for dinner (although I might be lucky because I've never waited for a table) and the service is always good. I would give them 5 stars, but they don't make the "Tootsie Roll" (there's only one place that does, see my other sushi reviews), so I have to subtract 1 star. But the bottom line is, if you want good sushi in Norman, this is the place to go. You'll be just as shocked as I was :) Click here to see the entire menu oasianfusion.com/OFusion…

I really love this place. The California roll is good. I love the curry selection. The jasmine rice is really good, as well. My kids even like to come here. The atmosphere is nice but the patio is a little loud. We have always had good service, as well. I love to eat local and this is a good option.
(4)Jenny B.

(4)Jules C.
(4)Josh S.
This place looks a bit odd it must have been a pizza hut that was converted. The inside looks nice and the selection was pretty nice. The best thing about this place was the sushi it was great! I would like to go here again but as I was just driving through and probably never be in Norman, Ok again. But if your looking for some good sushi this place is a great
(4)Molly O.
(4)Brian W.

(4)Karthik R.

(5)Mariah K.
Love the o'mein and garlic fried rice!!! Highly recommend this place to everyone who has not been, great patio too! They take reservations too.
(5)Marc B.

Love O Asian Fusion! The food and service are always great..one of the best restaurants in Norman!
(5)Graham R.

(3)Rachael F.

(5)Nicole P.
(3)Robert B.

I have never eaten in there, only got takeout and it was awesome!

This new Asian restaurant is a much-appreciated improvement on the previous two occupants of a building that once held a Pizza Hut. The new owners have completely renovated the interior and provided an elegant décor to accompany their excellent, and at times inventive, food. Lots of cushions, a central waterfall, and dark wood make for a potentially romantic meal. Although the menu sprawls from Japan (from steak to sushi) to Thailand (pad thai, excellent massaman curry) to China, the "fusion" aspect is hard to spot except with the sushi, where some of the offerings are quite inventive and/or trendy (deep-fried, tempura-battered sushi, anyone?). The menu is varied enough that most people will likely find something they like. The food is pricey. Dinner for two can easily top $50.

I loved it, good brand of sweet sake, the curry was as expected. Just a little pricier then I would like if I was paying lol
