Fuzzy’s Taco Shop Menu

Fuzzy's is a great place for fast food on Campus Corner. Their drinks are pretty good too...though they could be a bit stronger. The chips with queso is a solid choice. My favorite entree is the taco salad with fajita beef or chicken (both are incredible). First of all, the salad is huge! Secondly, the salad is topped with fresh cilantro, feta, and tortilla chips-- among other things. But the best part is probably the avocado ranch that comes on the side. It's delicious. I'd recommend fuzzy's to anyone looking for a decent taco shop in the area.

My boss has a hard on for Fuzzy's. That can make things kind of awkward. I'm not quite sure why he loves Fuzzy's so incredibly much... maybe it's the fact that you can booze while eating meat and cheese in a tortilla. Well, you can do that lots of places, and I probably wouldn't drive to Fuzzy's to do that. Bricktown Fuzzy's has got more atmosphere than the Norman location. This one feels like a fast food taco place painted in bright colors, meant for you to get in and get out. Oh wait... (I think that's what they're going for.) This place can be cheap(er) if you are trying to watch the budget- $2 tacos might be a savior if you're not a huge eater. I ended up ordering a steak fajita burrito with a drink, and I came in at $10. It's not exactly a bargain, so I'm not sure where the love connection comes from since the food quality is so-so. The burrito tasted okay, but it's like going on a date while still broken-hearted from getting dumped and thinking, "I've had better." Tortilla was cold, cheese wasn't melted, and there wasn't any alleged guacamole in my burrito... hold on now, I can go to Qdoba and get a warm tortilla with a million fresh salsas and free guac in it for the same price?! Well Jiminy Cricket, ya'll! Why am I not there?? Oh wait, because I'm still in the car with my Fuzzy boss...

I love Fuzzy's, but this location is awful to go to at night. It's practically a frat house. Completely wasted college students were bumping into me and standing in the way of the register so I couldn't order. I've always enjoyed the shrimp tempura tacos and the mankin woody caronaritas here but because of the crowd that hangs out here, I will never go back.

Excellent! Never had anything bad. Love their queso, guac and chips. Beef crispy tacos, spicy pork tacos, brisket taco are all very good. Can't go wrong! Go for it!

The way to go is to order a salad with chips on the side. It's like having 20 tacos instead of ordering a couple. I always order the shredded beef salad with avacado ranch because it is the best. I have had tacos, burritos and other things here but this is my special dish here. I crave this salad, it's that good.

Since the son has been playing his league games at the Norman soccer fields, it was a chance to try something a little further south then we usually travel. Walking into Fuzzy's was a bit of a hit to the senses; the paint was bright, and the aromas were intriguing. The place was empty, but what do you expect from a lazy Saturday morning in a college town? After deciphering the menu, we went with the two taco plate and some chips, queso, and some fire-roasted salsa. The seasoning on the chips was amazing, and I especially liked the salsa. We ordered a combination of the chicken, spicy pork, and beef tacos with sides of black beans and cilantro-lime rice. The spicy pork easily won the plate-off and was a perfect match for the sides. As a side note, the sauce at the table gave the tacos and sides a little extra zip. In the end, I really liked the place and hope more people give it a try and not just as a late night stop to recover.

Great fish tacos! Beeraritas are amazing too. A lot of college kids hang out there at night is one of the only kind of downfalls.

Love love love this place. I always get the same thing when I come but it all looks so good. I get a beef crispy taco and share chicken nachos with my boyfriend. I love the garlic sauce they put on the food. The hot sauce is soo good. The Bricktown location is just as good..

A-ok, if you know what to order. I've had some pretty good meals here, and some pretty disappointing ones. It is open late and convenient to campus/home, so bonus points for that. The veggie taco is the best thing on the menu (and I don't even like beans) and I also enjoy the tempura shrimp. The torta was ok, but after ordering it once that curiosity was satisfied and I stick to tacos. Things I did not enjoy: a weak margarita on the rocks (frozen are better) and the chicken nachos. They looked delicious, but tasted like tuna fish and ranch (a few others at the table agreed, so it wasn't just me).

Yum. I ordered shrimp tempura taco meal with everything in it. The taxis were absinthe. Crispy shrimp tempura with a good balance of feta and garlic sauce. Potatoes and rice were my chosen sides. Potatoes were hit,but rice was generic.

As simple as it is, this really is a good chain taco shop. My friends and I frequent Fuzzy's when looking for some good food served quick. They have a nice patio area, too. Their drinks are pretty good too, could be stronger. My favorite meal is the Taco Plate. You get two tacos of your choice (I get breakfast and tempura fish), and two sides (Mexican Fried Rice and Fried Potatoes). Good bang for your buck!

Fuzzy's is all good. It's on the better end of what you should expect from Campus Corner. Stick with the tacos, burritos, salads, and nachos and you won't go wrong. The Cheese dip is killer (it's the white kind that for some reason you don't see much of around central OK). Ive been there several times and it was always on point and better than expected. It's the anti-Pepe's (which is also good, but is a different animal). Highly recommended.

Great tacos/burritos, good queso, good drinks, and an awesome habanero salsa that's actually spicy. Also, they have crawfish tacos. Delicious.

I cannot get enough of their Tampura Fish Taco!!!!! To me, this is THE BEST fish taco in Norman. AND it's only $1.99!!! It's actually far from a real Japanese Tempura, and you should think of it as simply "fried fish." Nevertheless, such crisp and juicy fish tacos are the only reason why I go to Fuzzy's. I have tried other tacos (a normal soft chicken taco, etc), but they were only mediocre.

Ok, here we go...... The good: Beer----very cold on draft, decent selection. Queso---also very good. Service---polite and quick. Price---about $18 for my son and I, included queso, 3 fish tacos, and 2 draft beers. The not so good: Fish Tacos---I had one of the tempura and one grilled fish taco. I think I like the tempura best but the portions were so small it's hard to say for sure.

When I was still living in Norman and didn't know anyone, I would occasionally visit Fuzzy's to eat, people watch, and laugh at the antics of the local college students. This location is in Campus Corner, so you can expect the place to be primarily populated with a bunch of students on break from class or drinking after said class. There is a direct correlation between the number of people eating to the service you will receive. However, whether that will mean better service or worse service depends on which students are working (and I'm sure that their staff has a high turnover rate) and if they have a bunch of friends working with them or eating there. Summer of 2012, they didn't clean their hot sauce spouts until just before classes started. Summer 2013, they seem to be have been cleaned more often. As for their food, the fajita platter was pretty unspectacular. Their margaritas are reasonably priced for what you get. Their guacamole and chips have been disappointing and other times I can't get enough. I generally get their taco platter and like all of the options that I have tried. The sauce is pretty yummy on their food as well. One interesting thing about the place: they have a "Fish Bowl" drink that you need a minimum of 4 people over the age of 21 to order. And for good reason; it is a literal plastic fish bowl that they pour a purple kool-aid like alcoholic drink that reminds me of "sigma soup" and put four neon colored straws in. 1/4th of it is plenty for a 130 lb casual drinking female. They have a patio which I only sat at once. If I remember correctly, it is blocked off with a wooden fence and smoking is allowed (but maybe not). It was some holiday, maybe St. Patrick's, so the place was packed. Maybe because this was my first and only Fuzzy's, I just see Fuzzy's as a college food joint. It's great for a casual date or to get your drink on. TL;DR - Pretty much, your service and food will vary greatly. For these reasons, I just can't give them a 4. I don't go as often now because I'm in the midst of many, many more restaurants that I need to try.

I will say up front that I should have had lower expectations from a fast-food restaurant serving fish in Oklahoma. Even so, the fish tacos were really mediocre. I like fish. A lot. And I'm not one of those people who gets grossed out easily by seafood. But these were just not good. They were fishy (not fresh-tasting), without good toppings that *might* have compensated for the disappointing meat.

Fuzzys is a busy, marginally clean dive in campus corner area!! Plan on standing for a few minutes to order! Plan on possibly waiting for a clean table! But the food is good, the beer and margaritas are cold, the atmosphere can't be beat!

Fuzzy's has quickly emerged as a go-to spot on college campuses across the Midwest/South. While the food is average, value, service and portions keep students coming back. This particular location is no different. On the man drag across from OU, students litter this place and those working here do a wonderful job keeping the place clean and making you feel at home. The tacos, chips and salsa, guacamole, etc, are average, or slightly better, but they taste great when washed down with beer, which is more than affordable here. In fact, it's a great place to kill time before going to any OU sporting event, if you're an out-of-towner. It's spacious and flatscreens offer a path to watch any live sporting event in a relaxed, chill atmosphere.

Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 3/5 Decor & Style: 4/5 Wether the taco's are freshly made or not, it sure tastes very fresh! My favorite was the fried crawfish tacos, but surely try them all out. They also had these frozen margaritas that came with a mini upside-down Corona beer bottle in it (see pic). This was the first time i've seen something like this and the combination of the two made it very, very good. The style and decor was modern looking, and large enough to have groups of people with you. In addition, it has a very large outdoor patio. Big enough to have it's own Corn Hole Toss area! (I didn't play though). This place is an easy Yelp 5 star joint especially if you enjoy tacos, beer, and margaritas.

This place is awesome every time we go. The grilled shrimp tacos are outstanding and so are the flavored margaritas. Even when the place is super packed, there's always great service. I come here a lot too. The people watching can be quite fun, especially on Friday nights watching the sorority girls teeter on high heels. I highly recommend Fuzzy's, as it is my favorite place in Norman.

Great take on tacos! Shrimp tempura tacos are super tasty and the garlic sauce adds an unexpected and novel flavor. The service is friendly and they handle rush hours with smiles and speedy service. I love that they encourage customers to reuse cups and offer discounts on beverages if you bring your Fuzzy's cup with you.

Love the tempura shrimp tacos and any of the big burritos! Queso is also tasty. I really love the garlic sauce they put on the tacos too. The wait for your food is not long either. Fun atmosphere as well. And who doesn't like a take home drink cup? We enjoy hitting fuzzy's once a month for sure!

Great back deck area for warm days. Chicken nachos are pretty good, but a little messy

I've had the chips and queso and the nachos, but my favorite and main thing I always order here are their breakfast tacos! Finding a good breakfast taco place is tough, but Fuzzy's breakfast tacos hit the spot! Their Fuzzy Mango drink was also good!

New to Norman. Was choosing between his and Pepe's. Man I made the right choice. Ordering is a bit different. Yet the service is impeccable. And my goodness, so fresh food!! Salsa isn't really my kind of taste, but I will definitely be back. These people are so nice too. Be sure to tip!

Fuzzys is relatively new to Norman and I think it's a wonderful addition! It's a quirky sit down/fast food type restauant and bar. It's very affordable, quick, and great for sitting down with friends. It's my favorite place in to enjoy a margarita near campus with friends. They are delicious and run about $5+. I also think the enchilada plates are top notch! I was plesantly surprised by how good their dinner plates are given the cheap price and their primary focus on drinks and individual tacos. I deducted a point because it's a bit over the top quirky and I'm also not a fan of the crowd. I'm big on surroundinds.

Cheap, delicious tacos With a ton of different meats and shells and toppings you can pick from. Delicious queso, delicious guacamole and delicious chips. If I could give this place a 6/5, I would.

I lived in Southern California for a while so I've been trying to find a place with really good Mexican food. I tried a shrimp tempura taco and a fish taco. They were both so yummy and they gave me a really spicy sauce which was both spicy and delicious. I got a bag of chips and salsa. The chips were really good, I really enjoyed the seasoning on them, although the salsa was not desirable. It almost tasted like thick spaghetti sauce and I wouldnt want it again. I dont feel this place stacks up to Mexican food like in Southern Cali but it was satisfying and I would definitely go back to try other things on the menu.

I mostly go to Fuzzy's after 2 a.m. for the entertainment. A restaurant full of drunk stumbling college students (myself included, most of the time) running into their OMGBFFS!!! Luckily the food is also awesome! The tacos are great but the veggie quesadilla is amazing. And the QUESO is THE BEST. Also great for a quick lunch!

I LOVE Fuzzy's. Great prices on draft 6 point beer, tacos come with an awesome garlic sauce, and their queso is both cheap and delicious. The borracho beans compliment their enchiladas nicely. The only real downside is the presence or frat boys and sororistitutes after about 9 pm. If looking for one step down from Tarahumaras, this is the place to go. The only thing if looking for a burrito, probably best to hit up either Chipotle or Free Bird, both of which are within walking distance.

Being from South Texas, and formerly living on the coast in Southern California, I'm a taco nut- and taco snob. I'm a fan of huge flavor with fresh ingredients. Fuzzy's filfilled my craving more than other places in town, but they do have a way to go. I ordered the grilled fish tacos with the borracho beans. Friends ordered the fajitas, pork tacos, and queso. Grilled fish was tasty and fresh, the sauce was pretty good as well, and fresh cilantro is always nice. I wish they would splurge on nicer lettuce- they use iceberg- but over all I thought they were tasty. The borracho beans were extremely salty- and weren't hot enough- temperature wise. Not bad for the only borracho beans in town. I was told that the pork tacos were delicious- but the portion on the fajitas were a bit weak. For the price, $7, I think they were okay. The queso blanco was delicious and some of the best Texas-style queso in town. I would go back for this alone. Some of the staff seemed like they were stoned- but it kind of fits the bill at a baja style taco shop. I think the booths could use a cushion. Wood benches are kinda lame- and uncomfortable. Overall, I would go back for the fish tacos and queso. I saw some guacamole at another table... and well... I would definitely not try it. Unless you like frozen guac.

After a night of disappointing bar hopping, my glance into Fuzzy's Tacos did not strike me with the feeling of going in. My friends had to practically tug on my jacket to get me to even go inside the door. I looked in and saw so many jocks and muscle-men I was not thinking my group of girls (and kind of nerdy people) would succeed in this alien environment. I was totally wrong. Everyone there was having a great time! Music was playing, but not too loud, and we all sat down with a few large margaritas and fish tacos. All the guys and girls were talking excitedly, or dancing around like fools just to entertain each other. The staff is very nice, and they have such a fun feel to them. Their fish taco's aren't the best, that's true, but they're great compared to what one might find around the area. They're a great spot to hit up Friday or Saturday night. They have a full bar and great food. My friends and I ran into several friends we knew and ended up running around the tables talking to people. This is a great place, and though it's not my usual environment, I had so much fun I'm definitely going back.

We are big fans of Big Truck Tacos, so to say that this is a good taco place is really saying something. If we can't make it up to the city, this is still a great place in Norman for Tacos. My favorites include the tempura shrimp tacos and shredded beef tacos. Also their guacamole and chips are super flavorful!

I like fuzzys! Its good for a quick cheap bite. I usually just order 2 fish tacos and I'm good, but for lunch I can eat pretty little. Yes the tacos are small, but still, they are fresh and for the price, I would rather go here than like taco bell.

I think the food here is great, especially the tempura fish tacos. My favorite thing is they carry Choco Tacos, the ice cream dessert taco. One of my all-time favorites.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
