Cool place, great atmosphere. The grilled onion burger is to die for. However the chili cheeseburger is the bomb.com Great setup for watching the game, there is no bad seat in the house when it comes to a good view of the television.

We had eaten here twice fall of 2014 and loved the food. Our lunch on 5/9/15 was horrible! The chicken sandwiches were raw and rubbery. My husband's burger wasn't much better. The beer is cold and the service is good but the food really went down hill. I wouldn't go back.

BDD gets 5 stars for the win. Maybe things have changed since the negative review, but they do in fact have a kids menu. The queso is bomb. We ordered a round and they brought extra containers so we could make nachos instead of sharing one bowl. I thought that was a nice touch. A friend ordered queso with her burger and they brought it on the side, again, nice extra touch The honey mustard is out of this world. We downed 4 of them haha. Chili dog is good, you can def taste the homemade chili. Queso fries are heaven. Burgers are pounded thin and seared on a flat top. Our waitress was great and we really enjoyed her. We will def be back!

Revamp of the ice house called Toby's now. A little bit better menu still not very many selections. Basically the menu from Toby's in OKC cut in half. I just got the fried egg burger and fries. It was a good burger I'll admit and service was good. If I wanted something else off the menu I would go to Charleston's and if I wanted a burger again I would just go to red robin. For a place to go watch sports and hang out with friends it looked great though tvs everywhere and a nice bar. BWW set up but much nicer looking place. I would go again with friends but not a place I would ever think to go to myself.

Well drinks cost around $4, beers vary between about $2-$5. They have ice shots for $3, which are various high quality liquor shots in ice shot glass molds. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. TVs all around for prime game watching and free wifi! Winning! I was really happy with our service and with the quality of the food and drink for the price! Would definitely recommend.

Not overly impressed with this restaurant. As you will see there are some good areas of the place, but the most important part of any meal if the food. Pros: Wide open in dining room Large bar Many tvs Cheap drinks Cons: Horrible menu. Very few items. No desserts. Mostly burgers and salads. The food that they do have isn't any special. If you only have 20 items on your menu, and that's a very generous estimate, then they better be spectacular. And it isn't. The design of the interior shows a lot of promise. But the food and food selection is sub-par at best.

I think this would be a fun place to hang out and have drinks after work or on the weekend. Too bad it's almost an hour drive for me. I liked their drink and shots menu, even though I didn't order any this time. The prices were good. I was babysitting in Norman and my nephews chose to come here because it is owned by Toby Keith. The 6yo was disappointed when the waitress told him that Toby didn't actually work there. We were there in the late afternoon for an early dinner after the kids got out of school, so there weren't a lot of people. They have a small menu but what they have is good. It's mostly burgers, hot dogs and pizza. Their pizza was surprisingly really good. I don't think I would bring kids here in the evening because it is more of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant, but for lunch or early dinner it was fine. The kids liked their hamburger and chicken and the free WiFi. They loved the jukebox! It was a digital jukebox and I thought it was expensive. It was $1 or more per song, which normally I wouldn't have paid, but it was their first jukebox experience so I forked it over.

Had an unexpectedly good lunch at Big Dog Daddy's Ice House. I don't know why, maybe it was the name, or the interior, but I wasn't expecting the food to be as good as it was when I walked in. The place is clean, which is to be expected because it's new. There is a large bar with what appeared to be a decent beer list, although I didn't partake. Also, love that they added more parking to the spaces previously available. Smart move. No complaints on the interior of the place, the restrooms, or parking. We were seated and our drink orders immediately taken. I decided to go with the philly cheesesteak topped with queso and fries. We got a side order of okra to share, because if a place has okra, there's a 99% chance I'm eating it. The food took less than 10 minutes. The philly had good flavor but was MESSY. The bread became soggy at the end, which was off putting, but like I said, good flavors. Just be prepared to finish with a knife and fork if you go with this sandwich. The fries are on the thinner side, which I prefer. Also, they came to the table seasoned, which is becoming a novelty. French fries require seasoning and I don't know why it's so rare. These were solid. The okra was fried, but the breading wasn't too thick, which is how I prefer it. They weren't overcooked and again, were seasoned. Absolute re-order. We had great service throughout our lunch; received refills and our ticket very promptly. I'll return.

Was expecting more since it was another Toby Keith resturant. Friend said pizza sauce was spicy and to order the kids sauce and was told that was still spicy. I had the burger and it was ok, not the best but ok. Went a couple of months ago and the menu was small and your choice was basically pizza, burgers, or sandwiches and that was it. Our waiter was horrible and barely came to our table. We sat and watched our food sit there while he was talking with his other workers by the bar. The service was terrible and I found myself sipping the bottom of my water waiting for more often. Don't think we will return.

I have to admit, I really wanted to hate this place. I really did. Here's a little backstory: this used to be Big Dog Daddy's. A terrible place that serves bad food in a fake atmosphere. You can look up the previous review I did of it. It was edited under duress and used to be much more scathing. Also, I am not a fan of Toby's. That however has no bearing on this review. Frankly I was unimpressed by the decor. As I have stated before it tries too hard to look like one of those great Austin juke joints by the river but those seemed so much more organic than this. The place seems artificial, forced, and disingenuous. I was greeted by 5 people at the door who were all very friendly and obviously eager to please. It was a bit Stepford, but encouraging. I was seated immediately and the bartender came by and was very friendly. I do have to say the staff here has been very well trained. It's refreshing to see. I asked what happened to Big Dog Daddy's and was told that it is basically the same place with the same owners and that the old concept didn't work so they are now going for a more family-centered concept. The menu is pretty basic and has some hold-overs from the old place like a jalapeño flavored spam sandwich. Yuck. They nixed the hotdogs in favor of steaks, chops, catfish, and meatloaf. They did have a kids menu which was an improvement. The prices are pretty uneven. I ordered the taco salad at 8$ and it was pretty good and well-proportioned. The burgers were well priced also, but the main entrees seemed a bit off. They only came with one side and the meatloaf was 15$. It was 3$ to add a side salad. So you might have to really check the menu before you decide. Honestly I probably would never give this place a second thought as it is pretty generic in terms of family eateries. However, many improvements have been made over the last incarnation and the service was exceptional. My glass was never less than half full and every staff member that walked by checked on me. It may be that new-used car smell, but it's a much better place and I would actually come back. Maybe not for the 15$ meatloaf, but some casual drinks and a game, sure. Why not? Sorry about my last review of the last form this place took, but it was a living monument to crimes against humanity. Thanks for listening to my rants Toby and good job.

Either I was really hungry or this place was pretty good. I had low expectations. The dark windows remind me of a strip club and the decor looks like they pulled together every trendy bar theme around, but i was pleasantly surprised when the food arrived. The two items we ordered came quickly and were tasty. The margarita was the only low, small and way too sweet, but the queso knocks the socks off the Tex-mex joints in town. There are plenty of TVs to watch the game(s) of your choice and it looks like a nice spot for warmer weather if they open the rolling doors.

It's kinda of easy to forget about this place, given its location. My friend had a coupon, so that's how we ended up going. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the service was very nice. The food and drink choices would be perfect for game-watching or tail-gating. Not a place it you are watching your waistline, but it was a lot of food that tastes pretty good.

I really enjoyed our first visit to Big Dog's. The menu isn't particularly big, but they do a few things really well. Got the Philly chicken cheese steak and loved it. Fries are also nice and crispy. Good place to watch sports. Seemed to have a lot of drink specials, but we didn't try out the bar. Great service on this first go. I would go back.

We found exactly what we were looking for on Sunday fun day and opening day for Sunday NFL. Appetizers range from chips and queso, tomato roasted guacamole, to chipotle BBQ wings and Spicy Hogs in a Blanket. We chose the Hogs. Succulent, large beefy frank wrapped in a flaky croissant type breading w/ a delicious honey mustard for dipping. For lunch I built my own burger. A 1/2 lb of angus beef and added tomato roasted. guacamole and sugar-cured bacon. Meat was juicy and it was pretty darn great! My husband built his own dog w/ angus beef dog and covered it w/ chilli, green chillies, shredded cheese and sport peppers on the side. He loved his! Drinks are good service was great and we will definitely return.

Great sports bar atmosphere. Burgers, hot dogs, pizza, cheese steak, and apps. 10 beers on tap. Happy hour from 3-7pm each day. It's a Toby Keith joint, so hopefully the quality will remain high. Downside: premium toppings (ie bacon, mushrooms, etc.) will cost you an additional $0.75 each.

I picked up an order from here the other day and the girl working at the bar that gave me my order was so rude. I was very friendly and asked how her day was and she totally blew me off and ignored me and was very rude when I handed her my money. The food was good but I'm never going back because the service was so awful.

When we decided to eat here, I thought I was getting myself into a night at a redneck sports bar. Knowing Toby Keith's country roots, I thought this would be like a more local version of Texas Roadhouse. Fortunately, I was wrong! I wouldn't say that it is the type of place that I would go just have drinks with friends, but for a place to go sit down and eat this place is pretty cool. The way a friend described it is as "if Toby Keith owned a Louie's." The bar area has huge garage style doors that open up to make the bar am enclosed patio so obviously we chose to sit there. The service was great! It was quick and When we sat down we had a waitress immediately come to our table and bring us the menus. Speaking of the menu it is a build your own/check the box style menu. They have hot dogs, burgers/sandwiches, pizza, and Philly cheese steaks (maybe Texadelphia left some of their sandwich meat behind). Out of these 4 options, you can create your own dish by adding different toppings and condiments. The food was good but wasn't necessarily anything special. I don't think anyone is expecting a fancy dinner at a place with the words "Big Dog Daddy's" in the name. Everything was really clean and in order. The service was quick as well. Since it recently opened up, I'm sure they were trying harder than normal restaurant staff to give a good first impression. I enjoyed it but I will have to update my review after a follow up trip once they have been open for a while. All in all this is a pretty good place. The food was well priced and the portions were fair. I don't think I will make this a regular place to eat out, but it is definitely a fun place to go every once in a while.

I'm visiting Norman for the weekend with some of my very best friends, and they brought me here during an important basketball game where OU was playing Oklahoma State. The atmosphere was fun without it being overrun by college students. The service was amazing! Will was out bartender and kept our glasses and tummies full. I don't eat meat, and this place clearly serves burgers and hot dogs and lots of yummy bar food! I ordered the taco salad without meat and was pleasantly surprised that it had kidney beans for the right amount of protein. Loved the experience and food and would come back next time I'm in town!

I have been looking for a good cheesesteak since Texadelphia closed, but Big Dog Daddy's did not satisfy that craving. The cheesesteak was appetizing to the eyes, but that was about it. The bread was soft to the point of soggy and practically required use of the aluminum foil to hold - not that the foil helped you from the mess that leaks out. By the end of my meal, there was a pool of cheese on my box. (They serve on a disposable cardboard box rather than a plate.) Thankfully I was given an entire roll of paper towels. The sandwich itself was rather bland. They did give a lot of meat which was very tender, but flavorless. Perhaps more (fresh) peppers and onions would add flavor. The fries were generic shoestring fries. Very hot, but still very bland. Service was great. I did not go during peak hours, so I cannot speak to how they work during a rush. My server was courteous and my food was brought out extremely quickly. There are a few TVs around to watch a game, but there was not a great view from the bar. Big Dog Daddy's may be good to grab a few drinks and watch a game, but I would not return for the food.

Lucky to find a place open on New year's day, the hubs, bro-in-law, niece and I stopped in for a quick lunch. There was an interesting selection to choose from so it took us a few minutes to decide what to order. Our waitress, Kirsten was helpful in answering questions and checking on us while we debated options. We munched on queso (yum) Salsa (yummier) and roasted guac (meh, tricked ya) while we decided/waited for food. I decided on the turkey burger, which was fine. Not dry, but not super juicy. Just an average burger and toppings (Swiss, mushrooms, tomatoes). Hubs mada his own pizza with pepperoni, bacon, grilled jalapenos, and pineapples that was delish. The crust had a garlic butter taste that melded perfectly with his flavor combinations. Bro-in-law had a brat with brown sugar sauerkraut. It was--interesting tasting; I'm not a fan of sauerkraut so it could have been amazing to a connoisseur... Niece had a Texas toast grilled cheese that was bigger than her head. Seriously, she could barely open her mouth wide enough to bite it... I heard the place is owned by Toby Keith, but there was no indication of such inside. Apparently, it has only been open for four months so everything was nice and clean.

Our first server was pretty crabby, but our second was really pleasant. We had a coupon for chips & salsa and it was good salsa. The servers/managers didn't know the price of the beverages. Our food was pretty mediocre. The burgers were decent and the portions were medium, but I did not like the fries. They were undercooked and not hot. Our friend order a salad for $7 and it was super small and it came in a plastic bowl. The decor is awesome, but the serving plates were cheap/borderline tacky. We agreed that $5 burger night (Mondays) wouldn't be bad, but other than that, I'm not really a fan.

Amazing food. And we are foodies. Get the chili cheese fries you will not be disappointed. You know it's delicious when you are planning your next meal here. :) Great service and a very organized kitchen staff (we sat next to the kitchen). From someone who has eaten cross country, I can say this exceeded even Guy Fieri's burgers. We will be back.
