I was pleasantly surprised with the food. Rarely do I eat out that I don't season my food. Well this meal was perfectly seasoned, hot and large yeast roll knots. Only thing that was disturbing was the 3 TV's, very loud and on different stations. I will return for the food. I enjoyed the meal very much.

The atmosphere is a little dated and the menu is a traditional Italian fare. The wait staff is very good though, which is worth a lot in my book. We got there just after 2 when the lunch specials ended. They are a great deal of you can get there between 11-2p. Worth it. Dinner menu was a good size, but not over bearing or anything. I had the trio plate which was good except for the chicken parmigiana. It was buried under the lasagna and found it to be decidedly dry. The lasagna was great! Lots of flavor in the sauce and the beef. Then I moved onto the Alfredo. One of the better sauces I've had. It's smooth, soft and a hint of sweetness. Pasta was good and not over cooked. Not sure if it's home made or not. The manicotti was also good, and proved to be a wise choice for the wife. Overall, I give it a 4/5 for the whole experience.

Look, this isn't the best Italian food you will get in Oklahoma, but for where you are and what you are paying, it's not too bad. Yes, the bread is great, yes the service is warm, friendly and attentive, and yes the wine prices are cheap (glass are $5 for a not-bad chianti and bottles are $24). Yes, the pasta is way overcooked. I had the Penne & Sausage and found it to be not too bad. Nothing to write home about at all, but certainly not deserving of some of the reviews I've seen. The sausage was favorable and well cooked and the marinara wasn't too bad. My friend had the spaghetti and meat sauce and yes the pasta was overcooked but the meal may not be the most memorable in Oklahoma, it wasn't deserving of some of the reviews. Both meals were around $9. So with great service and so-so food, my friend and I were out of there with two entrees and a glass of wine each for under $30. Try to beat that. I would like to try the white clam sauce on my next visit. It sounded like they do it right. Not the best of the high-end Italian restaurants, but certainly far better than Fazzoli's and not deserving of some of the very harsh reviews. I just wish they had a timer on the pasta.

Good comfy food, delicious rolls, nice environment... satisfies the urge for good Italian family style dinning. The Alfredo sauce is creamy goodness, the linguine with clams in white sauce is delicious and meaty. The service is pretty good, friendly but not always on top of everything. I do enjoy this place for a local fix and priced reasonably.

I am normally a Chicken Alfredo boring type when I go to Italian restaurants, however, I was slightly disappointed with their's. Chicken didn't seem to have much flavor to it, so in my future visits I decided to play around with what I ordered and try a few different things. The Meat Ravioli is pretty tasty, along with their lasagna. The plates come out about the same temperature as lava tho, so caution is forewarned. These are the two main things I switch between when I come here. The Stromboli and Calzone, even lunch portions, come out large enough to feed a small army. Also try their house Italian dressing, it looks kind of like marinara sauce, but has a tasty spicy flavor to it.

A great place for good Italian. Baked pasta is great and love the pizza. Plus, they are now open on Sunday and Monday!

Great homemade pasta! Very friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices. The bread/rolls are delicious too. I'll be back next time I'm passing through.

Me and my husband have been here in the past, was recommend by friend and coworkers, this places has been here in town for years, so I though that this was all a good sign to give them a try, but I was wrong. The service and bread was great, the meals were horrible, our food came out within 5 min after ordering it, which should have been a red flag, it tasted like they just warmed up previously cooked food, it was bland, overcooked, a waste of time and money, we came hungry and left hungry, we left the food on the table after a couple of bites, did not take any of it home and went to another restaurant not sure if we just order the wrong thing, but we are not willing to waste money to try them again.

First of all, I want to note that I do realize that I am in a minority with my review. This means that either my family came on a really bad night or that the previous customers have no idea what Italian food is supposed to taste like. My family and I live just down the street from the restaurant but have never been until last night. We were greeted by very polite staff and were anticipating excellent service and had heard good things about the restaurant. We were provided with good service throughout the meal and were provided with some of the best bread I've had recently. That, however, is where the good things end. I ordered the chicken cacciatore, my wife ordered spinach ravioli, my oldest daughter ordered the chicken pomodoro and my youngest ordered the spaghetti kids meal. While we weren't expecting the best Italian food imaginable here in Muskogee, we were expecting something that was somewhat edible. None of the food we ordered seemed to fit that bill. My cacciatore had an "off" taste and my noodles felt like mush as if they had been cooked about 15 minutes too long. After hearing my wife's complaints regarding her ravioli (which, she NEVER complains about ANYTHING) I took a taste of a very tough ravioli that had hardly any flavor at all other than burnt cheese. The pomodoro that my daughter ordered looked nothing like any pomodoro I've ever seen and it tasted HORRIBLE. My youngest didn't fair much better with her weird tasting spaghetti. Also, the sauces on mine and both of my daughters dishes was so watery that all three dishes were almost soup like. In fact, I had to eat much of mine with a spoon. I've eaten at some very authentic Italian restaurants while traveling and, while I wasn't expecting Godfather style Italian food, I would have liked something that was edible. We wound up just counting our $40+ loss and ended up just leaving. No need for a doggy bag with this meal. Even our dog would turn his nose up at it.

This place is delicious and the best deal on Italian food I have encountered - and here in Muskogee of all places!! The owner is Italian, and the Italian spirit of generosity as well as passion for perfectly seasoned and prepared dishes is immediately apparent! Try the garlic knots with the Alla Panna sauce, as well as check out the lunch specials!

I love to bring my girlfriend here! We both love the food (especially the bread). The pizza is good and the regular meals as well. The service is great and I have never had a problem at this resteraunt.

We finally tried Gino's tonight and it was. Fabulous ..... We have a friend that has been telling me " you need to try it ..the bread alone is worth going for" and dang it she was right!!!! The hubby and I got a medium supreme pizza and a Stromboli .... And I will say we brought enough home to eat another dinner!!! The pizza was very yummy but the Stromboli was even better!!! All the waters and waitresses are so nice and friendly !!! We will decently go back there are several things on the menu that I want to try!!!

The bread was AMAZING! The wait staff was FANTASTIC. The food was alright (I've had better, but I've had way worse). The wine list was pathetic. The atmosphere was fabulous. This is the type of place you visit when you want an experience of cheap dinning, with a warm atmosphere. I suggest visiting this place for a fun evening, not a first date or fancy outing.

I have high standards for Italian food, keep that on mind. The atmosphere is pretty nice. Interior looks like what I would expect an Italian restaurant in muskogee, ok to look like. Service is excellent, best I've received in town so far. The food was very good, but not quite perfect. The bread was awesome, it is soft with Parmesan cheese and garlic. I wanted to truly test this place so I got the dish that came with the chicken parmigiana, lasagna, and fettuccini Alfredo. I'll start with the bad, lasagna was not very good, was not impressed. The fettuccini Alfredo was really tasty! The sauce was slightly thin but I still loved the taste. The chicken parmigiana was a very solid choice as well, not quite the best I've had though, remember I'm picky. Overall, I recommend this place, and I wanna come back and try the pizza!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
