This del-Rancho in Moore is really top notch. I love that they have an inside dining area. I think the burgers are some of the best around. I have never been disappointed in a burger I have gotten there. My wife swears by the steak sandwich supreme. This is our last visit for a while as we are giving it up for lent. She was unsure about liking it at first but after one bite she fell hard for it. Lol. I had the chicken fried chicken sandwich last time and that cemented the fact that I will be staying with the burgers from now on. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a burger and onion rings and be happy that you did.

So I love Del rancho. 2months ago I came for lunch. I ordered a steak sandwich supreme cut in half with no mayo. Well once I got back to my desk at work I find my sandwich with mayo not cut in half and of course my fries were not hot. I called to inform that my order was not right. So the manager said that she would put my name in the book. Well 2 months later I'm back in moore Oklahoma & decide to cash in on my iou meal. I get here and am told my name is not in the book. I'm thankful I blogged about it to remember the date. I had to wait for the manager to come. I remember when I called I asked did I need to keep my receipt she says no I have your name in the book. It pays to keep your receipt no matter what. I remember that day bc I called my order in and still had to wait as well as other's did. I also remember the manager being upset that their inventory truck was late with stuff for the batter mix. Today the manager says what does that have to do with anything? . I'm like that's what you said over the phone & was yelling to employees when I was there during lunch. Nevertheless she remade my order. Jeez that was like pulling teeth. I don't lie about food! I food blog for crying out loud & cases like this make excellent reviews of food encounters. I don't sugar coat anything. Right is right & wrong is wrong. My order was perfect today #shruggs

Diet be damned! I'm not sure exactly how many calories there are in a chicken fried steak sandwich supreme and, thankfully, there is no law that requires Del Rancho to post it. If you knew, there would be no way anyone would go anywhere near this delicious "sandwich" where the steak is enormous and the bun is just a suggestion. Coupled with your choice of tater tots, french fries, or onion rings, you can just about forget the fact that you're eating a days worth of calories in one sitting. But go for it. Get a side of fried okra, a frito pie, and the abomination that is the Indian Taco. Wash it down with a cherry limeade and don't forget to get some chicken fingers made with actual chicken for later. I wish they sold T shirts featuring their sweet little logo so I can wave the flag for Del Rancho forever.

Pick up the phone at your table to order your dinner, but usually before you do someone has already taken your drink order and brought them out. While Del Rancho is known for their delicious chicken fried steak, our family's fave is the chicken fried chicken. My husband gets the chicken fried chicken sandwich and I usually get the southern chef salad - which is topped with the same crispy chicken. I love it because the crunchy fried batter makes croutons unnecessary:) The salad is topped with cheddar cheese and my choice of dressing (ranch of course)- yummo!

it can be pricey.... the combo price with tax was over $10. we come here whenever we crave a steak sandwich supreme! yum~

I don't care which location I go to, but this one is great...a steak sandwhich supreme and onion rings from Del Rancho is as good as it gets. I moved to CA years ago, and this is one of the few things I miss about OK. It's just delicious! I still remember the commercial from the 70's with the little boy dressed as a cowboy growling " steak sandwhich supreme". Heaven on a plate. And my favorite onion rings.

It is a Del Rancho for crying out loud! Getcher Big Ass Chicken Fried Steak Sammich and gobble it up. Fries super hot too! Best one is this one in Moore - right off of 35 N-bound side.
(4)L B.
Best chicken fried steak sandwich you will ever eat. Have it with a big side of onion rings.
(5)Annamarie P.
I have to admit this is the best Del Rancho I have eaten at! The food is the least Greasiest out of all the local chains I've visited. The drive thru is a bit strange but it works. It's more like family reasteraunt style instead of a huge chain!

"steak sandwich suprrrreeeme" Ya'll remember that little kid? A little creepy but still. Having lived in OKC for over 4 years before, I never tried Del Rancho. We just moved back and I decided to go for it. OMG. What do they put on that breading? It's like sweet, salty, greasy and amazing. It was like a trailer park took up residence in my mouth and I enjoyed the hell outta it. Next time I am hung over or in need of a fix, I'll take it to Del Rancho!
(4)Bruce T.
Used to be a decent place. Now it's just crappy... And overpriced...

My first Del-Rancho. Part drive-in, part restaurant, all white trash goodness. They sell the typical burgers, fries, tots and shakes, but Del-Rancho has something other places don't. That, my friends, is the Chicken Fried Steak sandwich. A huge steak, battered, fried, and served on a bun a fourth its size. Add an order of tots, an iced tea, and a slice of fresh chocolate cream pie (all for under 5 bucks) and you've got Okie heaven on a plate. Del Rancho and Braum's kept my family alive for a few tight years. Disclaimer: I have not eaten at Del-Rancho in a good four years. But seriously, chicken fried steak sandwich, where could they possibly go wrong?

WOW!! Crazy good food, great servers. I wanna move to OK so I can eat there all the time. I had chicken fried steak sandwich with a side of bbq sauce..... it was the perfect meal..... if you like huge, hot, crunchy deliciousness.

Had the type of flavorful, rib sticking, and gut busting meal you'd expect from Del Rancho one Friday afternoon. I arrived around 11:30 and there were already several tables seated. Each table has a telephone with which you place your order, but as soon as I walked in, the server asked me what I wanted to drink. So, I had some iced tea before I even read the menu. It was an appreciated effort. I went with the chicken fried steak dinner, which comes with an appetizer salad, one side, and texas toast. I went with mashed potatoes and added a side of fried okra. The food took less than 10 minutes to arrive, and it was piping hot. The steak is large, I am pretty sure it's the same as the one you get on the steak sandwich supreme. It was covered with traditional cream gravy, as were the mashed potatoes. I added a little pepper, but otherwise the gravy was solid. The steak was fork tender, no knife needed. And, the crust adhered well to the meat and had great flavoring. This was a well constructed chicken fried steak, which is no surprise given Del Rancho's reputation and longevity. The mashed potatoes were the most disappointing part of the meal, I got no flavors other than mashed up potato. I would have liked some butter, pepper, salt, etc. The okra is good, it's typical deep fried okra, but the breading is thin, which I prefer. Also, it's quite a large order, I didn't finish it. This location may be superior to the Norman location because it contains a restaurant rather than just the drive through. The food quality is the same, so you lose nothing in the flavor department. I'll return.

Del Rancho is my favorite drive in, walk in and carry out restaurant. I'm a chicken fry kind of guy and theirs is the best. When I eat a chicken fry any where other than DR I compare to the best. This location is clean, friendly staff and quick service. They always ask if we want a to go drink after eating. Give DR a try.
(4)Jason S.
The only thing they should have on the menu is the steak sandwich supreme. Honestly, why else would you go here. It's awesomeness is in rivaled.
(4)Eric R.
awesome food, but check your to-go order before you leave!

I never wrote a review for my FAV LUNCH PLACE in OKLAHOMA! OMG OMG PEOPLE - PEOPLE - If you don't live in Oklahoma... If you don't live near a Del-Rancho... If you have never sat at a table and picked up a phone and called in your order to the serve on the other side of the partition.... If you have never eaten a chicken-fried-chicken sandwich... If you have never tasted a cherry lime-ade.... THEN YOU HAVE NOT LIVED. Where ever you may be today- stop drop and roll thee to the nearest car, bus, train, airport and get thee to Del-Rancho. I promise you I PROMISE YOU WILL THANK ME - because it tastes so damn GOOD. YOU WILL HATE ME - because you will eat every bite of that HUGE SANDWICH they provide you.... YOU WILL REMEMBER ME - for introducing you to one of the friendliest fun neighborhood joints in OKLAHOMA. YOU ARE WELCOME!
(4)Louie F.
I love this place. Especially the chicken fried steak plate dinner and the chicken fried steak sandwich . The dinner comes with a side salad and one type of potato, mashed, ff, or wedges. Costs about $10 and will fill you up. Service is pretty fast , don't forget to pick-up the phone on your table when ready to order! Portions are 'over the plate' Dogs love it too.

This is why you are fat dot com. Sweet Lord!!! There is only one thing you need to know: Chicken fried steak! Yes, it is as gluttonous as it sounds. But it is sinfully delicious! It is not real steak, more like shredded beef, but does it really matter when it is deep fried to death? As if the chicken fried steak wasn't rich enough in calories, I had to put ranch dressing on it. I will take my deep fried goodness with a side of Lipitor® and a defibrillator, thank you. The best part, besides the food, is the ordering system. You sit at your table, pick up the phone by the table, and call in your order. Yes, you read it correct. You call in your order to the nice lady who is 10 feet away from you. Nobody comes to take your order, you have to order it through the telephone. Good luck feeling comfortable if you are non-white, or if you are wearing anything better than cutoffs, camouflage pants, or overalls. Both of us got the "look" from fellow diners. It didn't bother me considering the nature of this place, I am used to such looks after living in Mississippi for a few years. The man, being the whitest white, got the look as well. It was probably because of the way he was dressed (sport coat, sweater, and a scarf). Needless to say, the looks completed the glorious experience. Regardless of the looks, I will still go back. The chicken fried steak sandwich is worth enduring the look. I think I am getting as fat as LOLycakes at this point. Not good!

Found this place in the 80's. And it is still great. The Chicken Fried Steak Sandwitch is the best. It is even better with onion rings and a tall cold rootbeer. I live in California now, and look forward to visiting family in the area and eating at Del Rancho.
