Nice meal. I had Carne Asada. It was a bit tough and not particularly flavorful. Rice and refried beans were good. Tortillas were good. Chips and salsa were fine (don't understand the bad reviews below about the chips/salsa). Service was good; servers friendly. I didn't understand that my ticket would be at the cash register rather than the waitress bringing it to me, so I sat there waiting too long. Guess all the locals already know this. Overall, it was a nice meal, but nothing spectacular.

My husband and I stopped here on our way back from a trip. We were greeted quickly, and while the outside of the building was rather average, the inside had good atmosphere. The chips were fresh. The salsa was ok. Nothing super amazing, but it had flavor. We ordered white cheese dip for our chips. The portion size was good, and it was tasty. The meal was average. I'm not complaining. It tasted fine, but there was nothing spectacular about it. Mexican food should be full of flavor, but this was somewhat bland. I sat somewhat close to the kitchen. I was happy to see that it was clean, and the staff seemed happy.

Terrible!!!!! The hotel clerk referred me here said the food was really good. I was so disappointed once I got my food. The chips were just like generic tortilla chips from the store I could've sworn it was pace picante sauce for the salsa dip. I ordered the enchilada dinner one chicken w white queso sauce and a cheese with red sauce the white sauce was runny and the red sauce had an awful flavor. Beans were like soup and the rice was mediocre. The plate was very hot but when I cut into the enchiladas they were cool in the middle and the cheese inside was partially melted this indicates that it was microwaved. It was just me dining and they were not busy at all on sunday around 7:30 I don't understand why it took so long to bring out my stale microwaved food. Nothing was fresh. I took a bite of each item and was grossed out. Definitely don't recommend this to my worst enemy. Beware!!!!!!

Being away from home (CA) and missing mexican food, the family and I thought we would try Adelita's Cafe, a local place that was referred by hotel staff. The place had a nice authentic look with paintings, brick structures and a water fountain which was the center piece of the restaurant. We were promptly greeted and shown to our table and our order was taken and of course being a mexican restaurant, first thing they bring out are chips and salsa. But these were just run of the mill Walmart tortilla chips and what we suspect to be Pace Picante hot sauce, so nothing authentic or homemade which was disappointing. We began to talk about the look of the place when before we knew it our food had arrived, which could be a good or bad thing, I always take it as a bad thing. My wife and I both ordered the Grande Burrito and we ordered our daughter a kids enchilada meal which came with rice and beans, her enchilada was completely buried under their cheese sauce (velveeta with spices) which looked none too appetizing. Sadly our burritos weren't much better, my beef burrito was ground beef, which maybe is a small step up from Taco Bell. Sour cream was on one side of the burrito and guacamole on the other side, so we weren't able to get both in one bite. My wife's burrito had very little chicken and too much pico de gallo. All 3 of us were able to eat for less than $30. Staff was extremely nice and service was excellent and efficient. Unfortunately the food was a failure. We give it a 2 out of 5
