This restaurant is a diamond in the rough!! The food here is AMAZING. Cold cucumber soup is the main reason I come here it is phenomenal. Had grilled yaki mandu and the seared tuna salad. Both were equally as good.

Pros: plenty of parking, nice interior, good food. Cons: poor customer service, odd smell in the restaurant, exterior needs repaired. This is basically a case of poor customer service overcasting a decent meal. The waiter had a difficult time handling a large group and dealing with a customer complaint. The food preparation was rather slow as well, but it was good food. This restaurant could benefit from a newer location and a server training program.

A solid four star restaurant for Lawton, OK. For the rest of the country its a three star. The exterior is unimpressive. Not run down, but it is definitely not fancy either. Walk through the doors and things start to look up. The interior is spacious and cozy at the same time. Each table has its own area, making for an intimate feel. The servers are charming. They have a good knowledge of their menu, both the current menu and the items that have fallen off of the latest version. Want something for that picky child? Just ask, they are more than happy to help find something that pleases everyone. The food is fresh. Everything seems to be made right there, right as you order it. Want your steak rare? They will bring it to you after laying it on its side for 30 seconds. How do you like your Bi Bim Bop (spelled "Bi Bim Bob" on the menu)? The sides of the stone bowl will still be blistering to the touch. The food was good. Was it outstanding? No. But it is definitely a winner in this town. Don't know where to go? Go here. Inexpensive. Good Service. Tasty.

Honestly, the food is good here. The international menu is actually pulled-off pretty well. This is probably the closest thing Lawton has to a cosmopolitan restaurant. I'm a fan of the rouladin and the bibimbap. I mean, what kind of a place does both of these well? Only a restaurant like CG's. I wish they had just a few more offerings on the menu, but the variety is still impressive. And everything tastes good. The atmosphere is pretty good, but could use a bit of improvement. Then again, maybe Lawton just can't handle a truly 5-star version of this restaurant. Regardless, I would still recommend CG's for their good food.

This is my favorite place to eat in Lawton by far. It's a nice quiet atmosphere, and the food is incredible. This is the only place in town where the owner will come out talk to you making sure everything is fine, and he also cooks the meals himself. I recommend this to anyone that wants to enjoy a nice dining experience!

We went here based on the other reviews. My husband would probably give this a three star rating, but I just can't. I had the Lemon Tilapia. Yeah, I know Oklahoma isn't exactly seafood territory, but tilapia is farmed so extensively I figured it was worth a shot. I was wrong. Not only was the quality of the fish low, but I found it inedible due to the overwhelming amount of black pepper, which seemed to be the only seasoning lavished on the fish save for some dried oregano. I asked for steamed veggies but got stir-fried instead (I checked with the hubby and he confirmed that yes, I asked for steamed). I wasn't too worried about the mistake from the kitchen, and would have eaten them happily, but unfortunately I found them inedible, too, with overwhelming salt. The margarita was good, though, and my husband said that his dinner was fair. I would like to think it was an okay meal that I just didn't care for due to my personal tastes, but I don't know if we will return to find out.

I was in Lawton for a little bit before my bf and I moved to Norman but this place is the BEST in town! One of our favorite restaurants and we are planning on making trips down to Lawton just because of this place. It's a blend of Asian fusion along with American/Italian. Dishes range from less than 10 - 15 depending on what you order. If you want a better deal, try to hit them up during lunch. They have a large private room for parties/special events. If you want good food, good service, atmosphere, go there.

The best way to know that you've found a good place for my family is if we spend time during our meal picking out what we will order the next time we are there. This was the case at CG's International Cuisine tonight. I honestly should not be writing this review now. The menu is so diverse, and the concept is so different for Lawton, that I should wait to have another few visits here before I write anything. It is precisely because of these reasons, though, that I want to be sure to add my review to the few that are written here. I want this restaurant to get the notice, and the customers, it deserves! Unfortunately, based on price alone, this is destined to not become as regular a restaurant as my family might like. It did not break our dining budget, but it was nothing like inexpensive. We ordered two appetizers, three entrees, a side salad, and two pots of tea. $60+ later, we left happy and full, and vowing to ignore the appetizers on our next visit. The menu has changed a bit from what they have posted online. They are willing to make a few of the dishes that were removed. They have simply thinned out a few dishes that didn't sell as well. I asked for a simple pasta with red sauce for the boy (no longer on the menu). What arrived was penne sauced with a flavorful tomato sauce and a nice slice of garlic toast. No fuss, no worries, just a simple matter of finding something that would work for a guest. I asked that my steak be cooked rare. It was perfectly done, less than a minute per side, with a tasty sauce drizzled on top. I don't eat red meat often, as I want it cooked a certain way. This was a steak I'll gladly order again. Hubby's BiBimBob (yes, it is spelled that way on the menu) was tasty, and was served in a sizzling pot with an almost rare egg. He said he would order it again, but only after trying out other things on the menu. Fair enough. The appetizers were tasty. Ahi was served rare, and was coated in sesame seeds. The boy plans to ask for an order all to himself the next time we go. He wants no seeds but extra wasabi. OK. Mandoo was ok, but we will skip it next time. Not quite enough filling in the shells to make me crave another dumpling. The true standout, though, was the chilled cucumber soup. Clean and clear, slightly tart, yet somehow still filling. This is a dish I will order every time I visit. The building is unassuming from the outside. It is tucked between a gas station and a McDonalds along a busy stretch of Cache Road. It is also unassuming from the inside. I spent my meal wondering what restaurants it had been before becoming what it is now. The decor is confusing, making it difficult to classify as casual, romantic, intimate, or ___? The full bar and tv work to further the confusion. What was not confusing was the sheer joy I felt in looking over our table. My family felt at home here, each eating a well cooked meal based in a different culture, each planning to pick yet another culture the next time we visit. Tonight was Italian, American, Korean night. Next time will be Thai, German, Mediterranean. after that, no clue. Just the hope that the food (and service) will stay at the high level we experienced tonight.

I was here for a function so I cannot speak for everyday operations but it took an hour to get my burned Philly cheese steak. I would not recommend this experience to anyone.

The owner says her philosophy is to serve customers the quality and choice of ingredients she would choose for herself. She is of Asian heritage, but the restaurant serves food from a variety of cultures, including: Indian (curry), Italian (pasta), Korean (bulgogi), and Greek (gyro). So far, I have tried the gyro, egg rolls, fried rice, chicken teriyaki, sushi, and two different homemade cheesecakes. They were all delicious and I did not sense that anything was microwaved or pre-packaged. The only area that I can see for improvement and this place is perhaps a more consistent waitstaff. The first waiter didn't know how to pronounce gyro and was a little bit unfamiliar with the menu. However, the second waiter we got was quick and knowledgeable about the menu. Either way, I feel this restaurant serves great quality food and is a gem worth visiting, since it is an independently owned restaurant in a town that features mostly corporate franchises.

After reading the other reviews we decided to give CG's a try. Boy were we sorry. We got the beef egg rolls they were good. We also had the beef bugogi and schnitzel. The steamed vegetables with the bugogi were fresh but the bugogi was mainly onion, barely seasoned and didn't come with any of the normal accompaniments . The schnitzel was a preformed piece of meat and the gravy from a mix. My stir fried rice had a burned taste. Service was very good. If others were pleased with this food they need to try authentic Korean and German food not this canned stuff.

The food I had from CG's was delicious! I had the grilled veggie wrap with a baked potato and the wrap was really wonderful. The fact that I called in a large order for five people, though, must have been way too overwhelming for them. They told me it would be fifteen minutes and of course that's when I arrived but ended up having to wait for the food for an additional 15-20 minutes which was incredibly aggravating since I needed to get back to work. In addition to the time quoted problem, there were some definite mess-ups on the order: 1. One co-worker ordered fettucini alfredo with no mushrooms and they didn't leave the mushrooms out (it was really delicious though; I tried it!). 2. There were three salads total in the order and they left out ALL the salad dressing. 3. They left out the chives on my baked potato. 4. The three sides of tzatziki sauce were left out of the order. I could have looked past one or two of these things if it hadn't been for the time problem; but four things that were messed up on the order? I really should have known to check the order since I could hear the cooks in the kitchen and they all sounded incredibly confused. So am I surprised? No. But should I have to check my order when I'm spending over $60 on lunch? No. As previously stated, the food I had was very good and we actually tried to call in another order for our Monday Lawton lunch a couple days ago but after NINE attempts and the phone going to their answering machine every time, we finally gave up. That was the last straw. I'm truly disappointed in their service which is a total shame since their food is tasty!

First off service was amazing. The gentleman that served us, Chad, was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. A rarity in lawton I'm sure. He answered many questions because the menu can be a bit confusing for new international eaters. The menu is more on a korean/sushi side with some blends of italian pastas. I had the beef bugogi(asked for it a bit spicy) with a kim-bob sushi roll. I love my bugogi, and the chef nailed it. The marinade and a added spicy was exactly what i been looking for. The atmosphere is nice not too pretty from the outside but once again its lawton. I didn't try the cheesecake, but the server said its made in house and I might grab a slice next time. All in all this might be the best place in this town. I'm bookmarking it for sure!
