Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. Later the company and the Applebee's concept changed hands with Abe Gustin and John Hamra who started the first Applebee's franchise restaurant in Kansas City.

Worst cut of Serloin I have ever tasted. IDK how they cooked it but it's awful. Good point is that salad and baked potato was edible.

The bartender is always moody but the service in the dining area is good for the most part. Other then that the food is very good. Their Cowboy burger and bacon cheese burger are one of my favorites. I also absolutely love the Oriental chicken salad. The dressing is so addicting! Oh and they serve a huge $3.00 margarita that is really good as well. These are usually the only things I will order at Applebees. The few things I've tried that I don't really care for are: The buffalo wings are too salty! The steak is ok. Not a very good cut of meat. The chicken alfredo is not good at all. It was bland, barely alfredo sauce and the consistency was watery. Pretty much all of their pastas suck. (at least the ones I've tried). The orange chicken is soggy and drenched in sauce.

My wife and I went on a Thursday afternoon right after he lunch rush. We so had our 8 month old with us. When we walked in, it wasn't super busy but obviously it had been. Here's the good: -the waitress was very nice -the fold was delicious -the price was what we expected Now for the bad -the service took forever, despite there being 5 people on the floor (including the bartender) for the 11 tables that were occupied -the high chair they gave us almost fell apart when I tried to pull it close to put my child in. The bolts were super loose (they did apologize and bring us a new one right away) -it took some pretty intense signaling on my part to get the waitress' attention Overall wasn't a terrible experience but it could have been way better.

Been going to Applebee's since they opened. Can't remember a bad meal. If something was wrong, they corrected it quickly. Love their Thai uesshrimp salad and the broccoli and shrimp with pasta dish. My son likes their quesadilla burger and steaks and before my father got where he couldn't get (he was 94) out we would take him. Only complaint he had was they did not serve bread with their meals unless asked & you had to pay for it separately. Anyway I have always been happy with their food and service.

Good food and very quick service. Only down side was how cold it is in the back corner booth. The 2 for 20 always works for our kids.

The staff doesn't care about customer service...it reminds me of that movie Waiting...a total joke...the drinks are to sweet the food is sub-par even for a fast food resturant type place...but hey it's Applebee's...I would rather go to Wendys than eat here.

staff was nice! We had a big group and they got us in and out quickly and efficiently with great service and attitudes

AIT style!
(3)Eric M.
Jason was the waiter and had to keep making excuses for the cooks. Don't get the steak, multiple complaints. Waiting staff works hard but everyone else subpar. The bus boy Cameron is a douche bag and not at all a team player. It's my opinion that he should be fired.
(3)Cathy L.
I got a great deal on gift cards right before Christmas. Buy $50 in gift cards and receive a $10 bonus card. Outstanding deal when you have a lot of people left to buy for or if you just spend a decent amount of money at Applebee's! On the two occasions I have eaten here, the service and food were great. I like that you can sit down, relax and dine or come in w/ a few friends to the bar, watch a game and grab a few drinks. They also have karaoke every Saturday nite!

Second times the charm. First time i ordered a beer with my appetizer and it came with the check. Wtf right? Nope second time i call in an order and the fuckers missed a whole order. Mines of course, on a good note my kids order was good. I highly recommend you avoid the establishment as i will. Good thing chili's is down the block

We came in late and were seated quickly. Our waitress was super friendly, Ilona. She gave me an entire plate of lemons and two glasses of water because I was so thirsty. Extremely attentive and always asking if we need anything but not in an annoying way. Highly recommended!

I love going to Applebee's!! No matter what city or state always seems to be the same consistency. I have tried mostly the salads soups and the lighter meals. Tilapia is great also. I have been to this particular Applebee's many times and the staff is great haven't had any issues....(knocking on wood)...sadly there seems to have been more bad reviews then good so come on people if you are reading this and had a decent or great meal lets hear it!! I don't recommend coming on karaoke night it seems depressing with the songs people choose to sing.
(5)Jerri H.
Worst meal an service ever had at an Applebee's. They forgot our order then had to get the managers attention he didn't act to concerned said he would check. Our waiter was playing bartender an more worried about drink orders than his food orders. I have a food allergy to dairy an asked for a dry baked potato got it and the bottom was swimming in butter. So needles to say wasn't to happy with this experience.

If I had the choice between a free meal at Applebees or a bologna sandwich and a keystone at the house, I would be at the house. On a non busy day it took over 10 minutes after we sat before we were asked for drinks. It then took another 10 minutes to get the drinks. My meal was not good at all and my GF chicken was very cold in the center and she sent it back. It then came back out....still cold. Never again applebees....never again.
(1)Jimmy V.
By far the worst steak i have ever had. I ordered the steak rare and it came out medium rare. One of the worse cuts of meat i have ever had. When i took my first bite i knew immediately that the steak had been sitting in the kitchen. Mediocre at best.

Train Wreck! Went here on Valentines 2013, of course expected to wait. Seated and welcome by friendly waitress. Ordered a steak medium, it came back well done, when the waitress asked the cook to give it another try it came back raw. Steamed veggies were still hard. Ordered a sizzling Apple pie with ice cream--when it came out there was nothing sizzling. Pie was cold and so was plate. I do not recommend this store or the cooks who are working in the back.

This place is great environment wise. The wait staff is ridiculous. One night, my boyfriend and I went to dinner with another couple. It took forever to get out food, but when we did, the order was WRONG and we just sucked it up and ate it. The waitress NEVER came back to see if we needed anything nor did she ask how the food was. Upon talking to the manager, he refunded us the cost of our meals and apologized. That was the best part of the whole evening. The rest...sucked.
