Really fast service. My dad and I were definitely the only people who were not locals. The deep fried granny cake was great! It was kind of a mix between a donut and a funnel cake. I would definitely recommend.

The Diner was convenient to I40, easy off and easy on. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Our meals met our expectations. The roast beef on the hot beef sandwiches was very tender, and the gravy was homemade as well as the mashed potatoes. Restrooms were clean. I would recommend you stop at this restaurant if you want to take a break from Fast Food or franchise restaurants.

I had the Kitty's chicken - jalapeño, salad and baked sweet potato and hubby had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and pinto beans. We both enjoyed our meals. I thought the prices were average and the staff friendly.

I left Alma, Arkansas in the morning without eating. I'd passed a number of fast food places before stopping in Henryetta. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted but it wasn't McDonald's, Burger King, or Taco Bell. I saw Braum's and remembered that they had more than ice cream and milk. I kept going. I saw Classic Diner and kept thinking about it while I drove further through town. Once I didn't see much else, I turned around and stopped here. I really wasn't sure how it worked, but a dear lady told me to sit anywhere. The first person didn't like me at their table, but...just kidding. I sat at a booth for four, which was probably not the greatest idea, but it never filled up that much, thankfully. I had seen a booth for two, but didn't see it again. Someone asked me what I wanted to drink, and I told her that I wasn't sure if I wanted breakfast or lunch, so I didn't yet know. Another person asked me, and I asked for sweet tea. I still couldn't really decide on food, and she recommended the special of chicken-fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, texas toast for $5.99. She had to explain what chicken-fried steak was, and I ordered it. Since it was the Monday special, it arrived quickly, including the gravy with a side of gravy--there was a lot of gravy. I liked it. I'm not sure whether I would order it again or not. It felt like a heart attack on a plate, but I ate everything except the toast. Everyone in the place seemed to be enjoying what they had. The staff were all friendly, and obviously, dedicated to superior service. There was one downfall. I managed to sit at booth that had not been wiped, and I used a napkin to try to clean or at least, move the stuff away. She apologized and got a towel immediately. There seem to be quite a few home grown places along I-40/old Route 66 like this. They're all worth a visit.

Very small buffet. What was on the buffet was very good home cooked southern food. You had three meats to choose from and three vegetables and two desserts. Now the chicken and dumplings were gross they had a very weird taste to them. Everything else was wonderful. The wait staff was friendly but at times let our cups go empty even though they were not that busy. All in all this place was a good stop

Best service!! Great atmosphere, wonderful food!! I had a grilled chicken club and my husband had his usual chicken fried steak! LOL!! Give this one a try!!

Stopped by for dinner, but didn't quite make it inside before they closed for the evening. The place looked good from the outside!

The food was ok at best. I sure wouldn't say it was homemade. We had the brisket special which seemed prepackaged and a bit tough. Service was very friendly and quick. If you're looking for something other than fast food, this is your bet. Maybe something else on the menu is better.

Started to eat at Braums, glad we didn't. Food excellent, service exceptional, decor great. We had the bacon cheeseburger and it was very good. Meat had a very flavor. If it was frozen you could not tell it. Would recommend eating here to anyone. This was better than the Meers burgers we had Saturday.

This is the best country food I have had on the road. I had the big Classic. It was 3 eggs 2 bacon 1 sausage hash browns and a pan cake. The eggs cooked just like I told them the sausage was a big party not a small one the hash browns were light and cooked thru. I will eat here again. Most excellent food.

Prompt service. Quick tea refills. Waitress calls you honey. Lots of coke memorabilia. Definitely worth a stop.

The only place I found in a few different searches in Henryetta was this diner. And it was well worth the stop before hitting the road to Shreveport as there isn't much between. Being in an independent rock band on the road, I was becoming very tired of $5 subway and weak coffee and this was a welcomed change. I ordered a veggie omelette which was served with toast or biscuit and came with a freshly made hash brown. The food was surprisingly clean.. ie: not greasy as found in a lot of diners. All that for $4.99 including tax and fresh brewed coffee for $1.19 Absolute bargain. Friendly service, complimentary refills of coffee, clean restrooms. If I ever return through that area, will definitely be stopping by again. Although it seemed like a spot where a lot of locals go regularly, we felt extremely welcomed which isn't always the case when passing through small towns.

Very reasonable prices, fast service, orders were correct, friendly service. Would most definitely eat here again!

Had an Awesome Burger and Fries, very flavorful and filling, cooked to perfection. Nice decor, friendly staff. A refreshing stop along our way

This is the SECOND small town diner we have tried to stop at today who's hours say they are open when they are NOT. Please consider not being on Yelp if you're not willing to spend the time to update your hours so that people who do not live in this town have some sort of an idea when you are ACTUALLY open.

Pros: Friendly Staff Fried Zucchini Biscuits and Gravy Pickle Bar Breakfast Served All Day Great Food Cons: Long wait

We're driving thru & thanks to Yelp we found this place. Portions are perfectly sized. We had the chicken fried steak which is hand breaded & piping hot. Also the hamburger steak with brown gravy & tons of onions that was oh so good. Mashed potatoes were home made. Great meal to get us the rest of the way home.

Stumbled across Classic Diner on accident while driving cross country. Service by "Star" my waitress was a refreshing break to my long day. Very helpful in helping me determine what I could eat ( I have a lot of food sensitivities ) and an awesome personality. Food was tasty and service was quick/friendly. Will be back if and when I pass by this way again!

Neat decorating, good staff, love their t-shirts. At the register is a tip jar for the cook. I told the waitress I felt like I should take a dollar out. Ordered the 'special' chicken and dumplings...guess what...swansons canned. They need someone to rescue their food

Great diner-style food. Breakfast is served all day. Specials available as well. Very respectable sausage gravy as well as tasty brisket (Weds special) and good burgers. Well worth a stop if you are in Henryetta.

Great place!!!! We were in town for the weekend and after a few failed attempts at finding something good to eat, this place showed up and showed out! Our waitress Frankie was amazing, she made several suggestion for us and after our mouths were watering we finally decided. My girlfriend ordered the pork chops which were seasoned well along with corn and green beans. I had the kitty's chicken with fried okra and mash and gravy. I was very pleased and the prices were really reasonable! We will defiantly come back if we're in this area again!!!!!

Passing by on I-40 and stopped for lunch. Fast and friendly service. Good food. Well worth a visit. I will stop here again the next time I am in the area.

They are in a new building now and we go regularly. Typical diner food, but excellent! Breakfast is the best. A little slow, but that's because it is all homemade. The way it should be and that's what makes it so worth it!!! Best place in Hneryetta!

We were driving accross the country passing Henryetta and came accros the diner. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was so friendly and warm. I would return here anytime for a nice fresh meal.

Friendly service, cute decoration and predictable diner food off of a major highway. Beats McDonalds or BK any day!!

Just passing by on the 40 and wanted mom and pop breakfast. Food was fresh and super yummy and food came out really fast! All for a good price

food ok, service very slow. Not sure I would stop again.

This place is small, but filled with good food and good people. Ever year or so I try to travel back to Oklahoma and visit my sister. This is one of her and my brother in laws favorite hang outs in their home town, and now one of mine as well when I go back to visit. The place has a certain comfortable feel, and the service is warm and sincere. Home style cook meals that are priced very reasonably. For what they do, i would have to say they are the best in town for sure.

Nearly could not find the place because of an incorrect address, but definitely worth the hunt. Located on 106 Lake Road just off of Main Street, the place is precisely as described: a classic diner. The food is high quality and fresh, the wait staff is friendly and efficient, and our meals, ( a patty melt and and a ham and Swiss omelette) were prepared perfectly. A great stop for breakfast or lunch.
