It's 4:00 am and everyone's sick. I ate all the things that would you would think are not so desirable on a Buffett. Like mussels, sushi and shrimp, but the only food in common between my 14 year old and 6 year old and I, were noodles. We were warned, despite the only sushi/Chinese food for many miles. We will be traveling, if we can ever eat lo main again. Skip if you don't want to get sick.

Granted, this is the only Chinese restaurant in Grove, so if you are craving American-style Chinese food, this is it! I will also say that I have eaten here before and it was better, but the night we went must have been an off night. Much of the food I got from the buffet was only luke-warm, with some items cold in the center. Children running around touching every serving handle on the buffet. I realize this is not the fault of the owners, but they could have stepped in. Everything tasted as expected, and I left the restaurant with the same amount of regret that I always have whenever I eat at the Chinese buffet. I must say, though, that for $8.95, this is probably the most affordable Chinese buffet I've ever eaten at (for dinner). So from a price standpoint, this place isn't bad. They just need to crank up the heat on their steam tables. I will probably eat here again someday (I visit the area once every 4 years or so). It just wasn't a good night for them!

I have eaten there several times, but refuse to go back due to the arrogance and disrespectful treatment by the owner upon picking up an order called in for take-out. Not once, but twice! First time... shame on you. Second time... shame on ME! The wait staff will provide your drink when you first sit down and clear your plates as you eat from the buffet, but never will any of them ask if everything is OK or do you need anything. They roam around speaking to each other in their native tongue while ignoring customers and only picking up empty plates and clearing tables. THEY'RE FIRED! I find this unacceptable and choose to spend my hard-earned money elsewhere.

This is pretty much the only Chinese restaurant around Grove. Luckily, for the most part, it is a fairly decent place to eat. It is a typical Chinese buffet with most of what you would expect. The buffet has typical Chinese favorites like Sweet and Sour Chicken, General Tsu's Chicken, Beef and Broccoli and many others. My personal favorites are the Black Pepper Chicken and the Cheesy Crab. They offer a selection of maybe three or four different "sushi" rolls (no raw fish) and there is a salad as well as a dessert bar with soft serve ice cream. The atmosphere is okay and a little cheaply decorated with what you would expect in terms of Chinese lanterns and such. There is ample seating and I have never had to wait for a table, even at very busy times. My biggest complaint is probably one that goes for most buffet restaurants. If you show up at non-peek times, a lot of the food is going to have that taste that it has been sitting under warmer lights for hours. I've never had that problem when I go near lunch or dinner time, but the middle of the afternoon is not a good time to go. You can also do take-out orders if you want to pick something up.

Great chinese! I travel and eat chinese food 5/6 times week. Best General chicken ever! Buffet cheap and the "to-go" is priced by box and not pound! Fantastic!

This is a very good Chinese buffet tucked in a modest corner of Grove. We were there for lunch & were impressed that they included salmon, shrimp cocktail & a wide variety of sushi on the buffet.

I could not agree with Eileen more. The owner/manager was very rude and arrogant. The food was exactly what you would expect from a Chinese buffet, mediocre at best. I don't care if it's the only Chinese food in Oklahoma, we will NOT be back. One star only because zero is not an option.

Yes they are the only Chinese restaurant in Grove, but the atmosphere is relaxing and seems like they are always busy. The staff is always pleasant and fast at refilling our drinks. The food is good and most always fresh. We eat here probably a few times or more a month.

This is definitely the best Chinese buffet I've had in Oklahoma! If you go at 11 A.M. the food is hot and fresh. The buffet has so many different options and all the dishes I've tried were so tasty and never greasy. The buffet also offers a salad bar, fresh fruit, different sushi options, and desserts. The staff is always friendly and fast to refill drinks. I will definitely return when I'm in Grove and need a Chinese buffet fix!

We happened to be in Grove this evening and stopped to eat here. We will not be back. Service was terrible, food was ok. When we were leaving the girl took my card and I told her "thank you", I gave her the signed receipt back and told her, "thank you" again, still no response, not even a look in our direction. Very rude. We will NOT be back.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
