One of the biggest disappointments in Enid. For sushi, it's the only gig in town, but the results aren't pretty. I've had room temp sushi, twice now. It doesn't feel to great to bite into a piece of raw 75 degree salmon. That can't be good. And to top it off, there's no ambiance. It feels like a cheap roadside dive. And, the service sucks. I've had the same waitress twice now. You know who you are.

Some of the best sushi I have ever had. And, the only sushi place in Enid! The ambiance is relaxing, while the decor is a little distracting. The service is very hit or miss, although the owner and her family provide great service. The best things on their menu, for me, are: -dragon roll -rainbow roll -chicken yakiudon -sake bombs (very fun for a group 21+) -anything tempura -gyoza

Do you want the good news or the bad news first? I'll decide for you, how about the good news? Good News: the sushi is good! Recently moving to this landlocked state had me a little worried, but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the sushi and the selection. It is not the best sushi I have ever had, but for Enid, it is pretty good! Trying to remember all of the rolls we had... Crunchy, Moonbeam, California Tempura, Spicy Tuna, Philadelphia, Salmon Roll, California, Spider... I think that's it. Aside from the Philadelphia (cream cheese was overpowering), I would order them again! Top two favs are the Moonbeam and the Crunchy, both fresh and tasty. We also had some hot sake, which was average, but cheap. Didn't have any problems with the prices or the bill like our other reviewer friend, and they do give a military discount, woot woot! Bad News: We were at the restaurant for three hours. THREE HOURS! The timeline went sort of like this... sat down at seven, sat for 10 minutes or so and realized that there were two waitresses working the whole restaurant, prepared ourselves for a wait. One hour later, we got a drink order in. 20 minutes later, we got our sake and put in a food order. We started getting the rolls brought out one at a time at around 9pm, two hours after we showed up. Having worked in the service industry throughout college, I can tell you that there really is no way these two waitresses could have given better service considering the circumstances they were in: working the entire full restaurant by themselves. I myself am always sympathetic to a waitress in situations like this, and I read from our reviewer friends on yelp that the service is bad so I had prepared myself for the worst! They did not disappoint! It was the worst! As for ambiance... it's pretty much the standard mediocre asian food restaurant decor, bamboo screens and all that. I haven't really been to a place in Enid yet where I could positively rate the ambiance, so I would cautiously say that a rating of ambiance has no place in any Enid restaurant review. There is a GIANT help wanted sign in the window of this place, considering posting a job ad on craigslist just so I can go properly enjoy this place, is that creepy?

Well.. let's see. Sakura is in a shopping center off Garriott, pretty good location. First impression as you walk in is terrible. You are overcome with pink. pink everywhere. It's visually offensive actually, but if you can get passed the pink paint it maybe looks like a generically decorated Chinese restaurant? They were horribly understaffed the day we went in. I felt really bad for the waitress bc I know her. She was the only waitress, just her for the whole restaurant, at lunchtime. Needless to say, she does not own a cape so service was very slow. The water tasted weird too. Menu is sushi, spring rolls, soups, salads, noodles, shrimp, chicken, rice bowls... I ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl which once it got there was actually pretty good. Bourban style chicken, perfectly steamed broccoli over white rice and i love salt so i drowned it in Soy Sauce. It was really good actually. Prices aren't bad either. Not sure how to rate this one, if I rate pre-food i'd give it one star. If I rate the actual food, four stars. Sooo... 3 it is i guess, i'm feeling generous and i did go there to eat.

Food was pretty decent. I've been to Japan and eaten at numerous Japanese restaurants in the past, and I've got to say the food here isn't horrible... considering the location.. it's actually pretty good than most I've been to. The interior design is horrible with pink walls and such. Overall this restaurant serves pretty decent Japanese food, and customer service isn't that bad

I'll keep this short: the service is horrible, the sushi is bland and even room temp sometimes, the food isn't even proper Japanese and the decor is cheesy. When we want sushi and don't want to travel, we just get the pre-made boxes at the Jumbo supermarket. Otherwise, we go to Tokyo Japanese Restaurant in OKC.

As far as Sushi in Enid goes, this is one of the best places since it is one of the only places! The food is almost always good, the disappointment is almost always the service, and it is really hit or miss. We have been several times because it is my husband's favorite restaurant in Enid and unfortunately it does not matter how busy they are as to what kind of service you will get, but if they are busy you can definitely expect to wait awhile for your food. They seem to always be in demand of good help. On to the food! It has never disappointed us, but that is not to mean that it is wonderful! This is Enid OK and if you are looking for good quality sushi then you are in the wrong place. For what you pay and for the location it is definitely a decent place, but it is by no means the best sushi place I have ever been to. There are several better places in OKC, or elsewhere in the country. However, when you don't want to drive to OKC this place is a fairly decent substitute.

The best sushi place in town - sadly there is no other choice. Edamame, Miso Soup, lots of tempura choices, Sakura is something different and Enid needed that. Unlike the previous reviews, I did like the sushi rolls and have tried them all. The bowls at lunch are my husbands favorite as the veggies are steamed crispy and the katsu sauce is pretty good. So if I can live with the food, why 2 stars? Sakura has the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant and I'm including the time the waitress dumped a large diet soda down my back. It is painfully slow and the appetizers may come out before or after your meal. Frequently one member of the party will be done eating before the others have received their food. There is no pride in their service and they don't seem to care or apologize for the it being lacking. In spite of the fact I enjoy that they offer original food/flavors for Enid - I will only go there when I have a LOT of time and nothing else planned for the evening.

Good noodle dishes. Avoid the sushi. It is lame. Nice staff, a clean, if not lackluster place. Nothing to write home about.

I stick to the non-sushi menu for the most part. The fried tofu is great, but it comes out hot enough to cause second degree burns. Believe them when they say it's hot. The katsu dishes are just fine. Just remember, there is no such thing as good sushi in Enid. If you insist, get eel rolls. They're cooked. The service is a gamble. You can get slow and rude, slow and polite, or attentive, polite, but still slow for anything to come out. It's a shame on the last one, nice sorts who get blamed for I'd like to say I just avoid the place, but I do have a weakness for fried tofu, and that's not exactly a staple menu item around here.

I'm not really fan of Asian food in general, and sushi in particular - so take this review with a grain of rice. My first sushi experience, so I have nothing to compare it with, but this shit was good. Other than the seaweed wrap / binder thing (is there a version without it) I dug the food. And I am a close-minded food purist raised in the meat and potatoes midwest. Service was fairly quick, but the place was damned near empty. Sticky rice was great, the filling was good - whatever the hell it was - and the soy sauce was ... well, it's soy sauce. No one reviews soy sauce. Basic decor, reasonable prices, clean and squared away. I'll likely allow my bride to drag me back ...

Wonderful! Service was great and so was the sushi. I have eaten sushi all over the United States and this was good quality. I will dine again the next time I visit Enid.

I was surprised to see that there was a Japanese restaurant with sushi here in Enid, OK. Coming from Hawaii, I miss eating fresh fish and rice. The ambiance was relaxing and had the typical Japanese restaurant decor. The service was okay, but slow. Our waitress was friendly but was taking care of the entire restaurant when we went in. The sushi was pretty good for being located in the middle of the US. I wouldn't say it is the greatest, but with no other options, this is the place to go to fill that craving.

The wait here? Over an hour after eight! Pretty dang ridiculous. Cannot believe this whole in the wall sushi restaurant took an hour to do four sushi rolls. With three tables of people. That's it. Service is horrible. Was given two edamame dishes because of the wait, but that didn't change my review at all.

Won't even bother too much with this one. First of all I've been here twice and both times the food just wasn't all that good. Customer service was the worst. They were nice but the time it took to finally serve me the food was ridiculous both times I was there. The first time I was there I decided to eat there and read my book while I waited so I didn't notice much how long it took. Did I mention "didn't notice much"? Yea after a while I was thinking where the F*** is my food?" Fast forward a few weeks later when I got an urge for some sushi and just didn't care if it wasn't great. This time though I was in a hurry and ordered to go. I was just sitting there listening to music check instagram, Facebook and reading a book on my iPhone too. Time went by and more time went by. Finally after about 30-45mins I asked how much longer my order would take. After another ten minutes I asked another girl and was told that the cook forgot...... I had already paid by card and was hungry so I ended up just waiting however long it took to finally get my food. Guess I ended up ranting a bit lol
