Hopeful. After telling a friend of mine about the demise of Steve's Ribs quality, he recommended Earls. Went in for lunch and tried the brisket sandwich. The bun was grilled with butter. Good amount of brisket nicely stacked across the bun. The brisket itself was tender and not dry - had a real "smoked" flavor, as opposed to a "wood disc smoke" flavor, a la Billy Sims. Barbeque sauce provided in squeeze bottles tasted ok. I might be biased against the sauce, as I generally don't trust the age of sauce sitting in those containers - do they change it out, or just add to it? I don't know, hence the apprehension. The side of curly fries was generous and lightly seasoned - great! I going to come back and try their ribs, which should be a better test of their barbeque quality. Three stars for now - will go to four if the ribs work out well, stay tuned! :o) Edit: Tried the Rib Dinner to go - 5 ribs, nice surprise! They were juicy, meaty, and not overdone - had a good bite. They also had a real "smoked" flavor like the brisket. I could tell Earls puts some kind of mop on the surface of the ribs, which wasn't bad, but I prefer dry rubs with the option of saucing them myself. My sides were baked beans and curly fries (again!). The beans had a good rich flavor, not drenched in barbeque sauce. I'm giving Earls 4 stars with the disclaimer that I'm still looking for my 5 star pick! :o)

This place smells amazing walking up, and the hamburgers are not bad, but as for melt in your mouth bbq, this isn't it. The brisket is very fatty, even for a bbq place. The meals are very large though. At lunch you order and pay and then they bring the food, never eaten there at dinner. It's very relaxed, and the employees don't really pay attention to any sort of detail. Its an ok place if it happens to be convenient to your location, but the tougher meat and fatty makes me say try something else.

When eat the namesake meal from a restaurant, you expect it to be good right? These ribs were down right bad. Dry and tough with a weird aftertaste. Really really bad. I'm not a rib snob. I get them just about wherever I go. It's extremely rare that I'm not pleased. On top of that these 6 bad ribs were a whopping 15 bucks with tax and NO SIDES. that's just the meat. On a side not the wings were decent.

Great ribs and brisket! Fried okra pretty good too. Very friendly staff. Will come again when I'm back in town.

Very good food, I loved having deviled eggs as a side dish! The pulled pork was fantastic! The ribs were good, not great. The brisket was delish! Our server, Mason was great and attentive.

Good Barbecue, not the best, but overall a good meal. Sides are always Delish and their Sweet Tea is awesome!

Not good. It's a cheap place with cheap tasting food.

Simply exceptional ribs. Dry rubbed and smoked to perfection they are moist, meaty and very tender. Earl's deserves its reputation as Oklahoma's best ribs. We both had the rib dinner and even the sides were excellent. What's most impressive is the level of service and sincere concern that you are enjoying your dinner. No less than 4 different staff stopped by our table to ask how the food was, would we like our drinks refilled, what else could they get for us etc.. It was a terrific dining experience. We are originally from Kansas City and know a great rib joint or maybe 10 great rob joints. Earl's were the best we've had in our 7 years in Oklahoma. Swadleys ribs are very good, Leo's very good, but Earl's will make want to slap your momma!

We love the cheddar burgers. They're fresh & hot EVERYTIME. Kids menu has lots of choices including their ribs. Kids also able to choose any side, that's a plus for my kids!

I have to give this place a one star because the GM is a Texas hater. Even the waiter there said that the GM was son OU fan. Now I am fine with that but when have every license plate on your wall the right side up but you have Texas upside down that is just rude. Also food was great but way over priced. I will never return there again

This is a great place to stop in for lunch or dinner if you want a casual atmosphere, and maybe even a patio seat. Reasonable prices, great food, and outstanding service! If BBQ is your thing, you owe it to yourself to try Earl's!

I would eat a chopped brisket sandwich every day if I lived closer. My mouth starts to crave Earls the second I step off the plane into OKC. The fries used to be better, but I douse them in BBQ sauce and they taste good anyway.

Just back from lunch at Earl's. Popular place; very busy at lunch on Friday. My wife had a chopped bbq brisket sandwich and shared a portion with me. Good, smoky flavor. I had hot wings. Very good wings, though a few of them were a little over done. Still, I'd go there again for sure.

Earl's cheddar burger with grilled onions is one of the best burgers in town. Match that with fries, okra or one of their other delicious sides they are all good. ... Oh the barbecue is pretty good too.

Pulled pork was the same as the ribs (and kind of fatty, so I don't think they really "pulled" it, just chopped it) - tasteless, room temp, etc. Potato salad was decent, but an onion-fest (to quote another reviewer). And if you're wondering why I went back, I had to - someone else chose the restaurant. :-)

Used to get Earls ribs and brisket all of the time. Loved the fall-off-the-bone meat. Unfortunately it is not that way anymore. Tonight we had a to go order of ribs and brisket. When we got home we opened up the containers to dry, tough ribs that stuck to the bone and dry, brittle brisket with little flavor. Not your best Earls. Not your best.

Earl's is by far my favorite BBQ place, and there is a reason they've been voted the "best in bbq" in OKC so many times! I love the ribs, the pulled pork, brisket and all the sides, but on occasion have to get their cheeseburger. Cheeseburger, you ask? At a BBQ joint? Yes, the cheeseburger! It gets no respect, being from a BBQ joint and all, but it may be the best cheeseburger around. Once, (just once), I got some ribs that were very dry. The manager came by asking how everything was and I told him the truth. He was so embarrassed and appreciative that he brought us another rib order to go. They care.

Having lunch. Ordered at counter. Food was brought to us at right temperature in reasonable time. Food was good but I don't like their potato salad. Wings were excellent.

Reasonably priced, quick service, and convenient, Rib's is the place to go when you just want to eat a bunch of ribs. They may not be the OMG-Best-Ribs-Ever!, but they're just fine when I want convenience, efficient service, and reasonably priced ribs.

My husband and I shared a meal here a month ago, and I'm just now calm enough to write this review. We both got terrible food poisoning. I called the manager as a courtesy, and he shuffled me off and told me it wasn't possible to get food poisoning from their food. What a terrible excuse and poor customer service. We will never be back.

Good service. The food was fast in coming to the table. The fried okra was really good, but the actual barbecue was just ok. It needed the hot sauce to have more than just a little flavor. It's really just a BBQ sauce delivery system. Not bad, but not great.

Not the best ever just kind of mediocre. Not bad but I have no reason to return.

Good BBQ and a good burger as well. Can get a little crowded, but just goes to show that people like the food!
