Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

This is my favorite Chinese place in Edmond! Their staff is extremely attentive and respectful. My go to is chicken, shrimp, or vegetable fried rice with a side of the green beans in black bean sauce. I've dined in and taken it to go and it's great both ways. The only complaint I have is the gap in their hours, since that's my preferred lunch time because of my class schedule. I love the food though and I visit as often as I can. No more fast food Chinese for me!

My wife and I have been eating here longer than any other place we frequent, since we were dating 19 years ago. The owner Andy is a permanent fixture and is always kind, friendly and welcoming. A real gentleman. The food is always very good, I like the Mongolian beef and the hot and sour soup. Prices are good, especially for lunch. Nice place to go with a group and be able to have a conversation, it's a large dining room and the tables are spread out nicely plus there are separate rooms for larger groups. Will always be a favorite.

Great service and even better food! We had garlic sauce eggplant and sweet and sour pork, both were excellent! The crab Rangoon was awesome too.

We have been coming here for years. But we have been noticing a decline in service. Today when we sat down after getting our drinks, no one took our order for 20 minutes. Then our food came out one plate at a time for the next 20 minutes with the children being served last. I think this restaurant needs to get organized or we may stop coming here.

The owner is so so nice!! Our food was great- love the beef with green beans, my husband likes their sweet and sour, and he's picky with his sweet/sour sauce! We did take out and the chicken was still crispy on the sweet and sour chicken. It hit our craving for Chinese! Yum!

I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. The service is always impeccable. Never an empty glass and a very short wait time. Keep up the good work!

How does this place stay in business! I always go back so it serves me right, this place serves garage! Old chicken and 8 hour old rice!

Good Chinese food and friendly service. Atmosphere is nothing special. I got the vegetable Szechuan dish, no spice with brown rice & loved it. The fried riice was underwhelming- it didn't even have vegetables. Egg roll was yummy

This is my go to Chinese food. It is a Chinese restaurant with typical Chinese food. However, there is good Chinese food and bad Chinese food. This is the good Chinese food. I always order either the broccoli beef or shrimp lo mien, both have quality ingredients. Not the small salad shrimp. I really love the beef sticks and dumplings. Delish! The egg drop is pretty good although I'm not a fan of chestnuts, but that's just a preference. I forget to check, but I'm pretty sure it is MSG free, as I never leave feeling sickly full or get a headache later. The owner is super friendly and always comes to the table to check on everything personally.

Food quality is so poor here, I had a chicken dish and I could tell chicken wasn't fresh no matter you added lots of sauces, it was smell! the restaurant's owner should keep that in mind"customers pay for theirs food and you should pay for your ingredients" .I know its hard to run a Chinese restaurant but high quality always better than low price.

Great luncheon menu with great price! Shrimp and chicken fried rice is good! Simple beef and vegetables comes with eggrolls and soup a great value !

Not fit for Chinese flavor. I do not like. The boss is very happy but the food is I can say not bad

S&S chicken crunchy and not to tough at all, not dry either. Mongolian beef, just spicy enough, and very tasty. This is very average American "Chinese" food though. If you want an authentic and creative Chinese restaurant, this isn't it.

Nice sit down restaurant. Portions have always been fairly large. Haven't loved everything I've gotten, but is okay.

Great Cantonese style food. Get the fatty pork with preserved veggies and the braised duck.

The restaurant was surprising nice considering the store front. The service was very friendly and we received our food quickly. The low mein was strange with noodles that appeared to be angel hair pasta instead of the wider noodles I have had everywhere else. It was a little dry but had a good flavor. The egg rolls has more ginger than I like and I won't get those again. The other entrees where great (SS Pork, Sesame Chicken and Moo Goo Gai Pan). My son liked the egg drop soup. Everything was hot and fresh!

Very nice service, sometimes slow during lunch, but never rude. They have a great lunch menu and all the food is pretty good. I haven't found a single thing I hate.

This is a great hole in the wall. Very low key with excellent service! I love dining here!

It was suppose to be a nice Sunday lunch shared with friends....we were seated and handed a 1 page lunch combo menu. We asked to see the full menu... after all it is a weekend!. The waitress said we could only order from this "great" menu...it was buffet line food, just cooked to order...so I ordered the sooo authentic sweat and sour chicken and Mongolian beef. I think it was $7 combo, which tasted like I should have paid less. They need to change their name to Dot Wo Fast Food....I mean, come on, how can you serve food like this on a weekend...how can the chef be that lazy and uncreative?

The chicken with broccoli was very rubbery to the point that even my husband wouldn't finish it for me. We rarely toss any food in the trash, but we resorted to this after our take out experience. Sub-par Chinese food at the price you'd pay for good cuisine.

Great food, lousy service. Get the chicken lo mein, it's different in a good way.

Best place to eat in Edmond. They have San Francisco style Chinese food and the sweetest people who work there. The food is nice and light, not your average Panda Express or whatever experience and not expensive at all. Their lunch specials are like 5 bucks I think and come with soup, egg roll and fried thingamabob of your choice. I love their seafood doufu clay pot - the scallops are always really soft and tender - and the create your own dishes. I've liked pretty much everything I've gotten there except for the - it was a bit too soupy and sweet for my taste, but they have choices up the wazoo so there's definitely something for everyone. Love you, Dot Wo!!!

Really average chinese food for expensive prices. Their chinese menu, which is only available on request, is much better. The dishes on there are authentic and cooked well but are still priced $2-$3 more than other places in the area with the same type food and authenticity. I recommend their twice cooked pork and their sizzling beef! They're pretty great.

Dot Wo is one of our favorite Chinese Restaurants in Edmond. They specialize in Chinese seafood. We really like the pot stickers too. They have all the traditional Chinese favorites as well. The service is always courteous and good. We typically takeout but the dining area is very clean and quite nice.
