Service was ok. It was a Sunday afternoon, so I understand why. I ordered the Southwest burrito and upon arrival I received a "sweet chilli sauce" instead of the salsa like the menu said. When I finally flagged down our waitress, she told me that is what it comes with even though she knew it was not right. She did bring me some salsa. The burrito was just ok. I wasn't dissatisfied but nor was I wowed. It also comes with hashbrowns and 2 jalepeno poppers. I will have to try the lunch menu. I seen some extra large onion rings pass by and smelled some burgers. You can also order bison.

Stopped here on a trek to rural Oklahoma for work and it was pretty good. I had the buffalo burger with cheese and onion rings. The onion rings were HUGE (but delicious), and I always like a good buffalo burger. I bought two jars of salsa on my way out - the ghost chili salsa, and the roasted pepper salsa (in case the ghost chili was too hot...). I'm not sure why they don't serve this salsa before your meal. What we had beforehand looked like Pace...it tasted fine, but what I got in the jar on the way out was MUCH better. And for the record, the ghost chili lives up to the "extremely hot" label. I love spicy food and I like the salsa, but I definitely can't eat as much as I usually can of salsa. It's definitely worth a try though if you like hot and spicy salsa!

The best thing about this place was our waitress. "The world's best buffalo burger" was dry, over cooked and not very big for a 1/2 pound burger. The bus boy's attempts at wiping down tables left them covered with crumbs and sticky drink rings still on the table. You don't even want to see what the seats looked like. I only give it the extra two stars because the Cherokee Trading Post in the same parking lot is worth the stop! Make sure you give yourself time to look around, there is some pretty amazing items there!

Well---the food was good-the service was good-just dont look at the booths when you sit down-a bit scary. Typical roadside diner-eat and leave.

A typical roadside diner, but with a more expansive menu. You can get breakfast all day, or go for sandwiches, burgers, or the southwest menu. They have a little salad bar, and on Sundays they have a buffet menu. The best part of the whole thing, however, was our server. All of her customers were her new best friends! There is also a big souvenir shop right across the street if you're looking for trinkets to take on your way.

walk in not expecting a lot and you won't be disappointed. The food is ok, the service is not so good and the cleanliness might put you off a bit. The booth had a spring sticking out that scratched my husband and the waitress said "That is ok, we're getting new booths Monday" and made no attempt to fix it or move us. I told him to get a tetanus shot when we got home. The service is slow and unfriendly but I think it is because the waitresses are over worked or don't care (not sure which) but when it did come out it was hot and cooked almost the way you would want it. If we stay at the KOA again we would probably eat there (I do want to see the new booths) but not expect a lot and my expectations will be met!

Was out in the area for work and the guys picked this place. I was less then impressed. As in I won't be back. One trip to the Salad Bar is 3.79 and you get a small plate. There are signs that tell you this however your server does not. One guy went back 4 times not noticing the sign and he was charged 3.79 4 times! the salad bar was good, everything was fresh, however you did have to avoid getting those big hard pieces of lettuce. I had Ranch Dressing which was delightful. I also ordered a side of steamed veggies. Don't judge me I'm having a big dinner tonight. That post will be up later. Anyhow the veggies they were a miniature sized portion for 1.79 and chewey and just not good. Like maybe they were steamed this morning and sat under a heat lamp. Now let's talk about the service. The waitress acted like we were a giant pain in her ass. We had 5 people and she just threw the menus down in the middle of the table, never asked if we needed refills nor did she check on us after we got our food until she was bringing the tab. We had to flag her down multiple times. I would eat from a gas station before I went back here. Just saying. Grab a snack at the gas station and wait until your in the next small town and at least try their diner, it's got to be better than this.

Stopped here on the way home from a road trip. The wait was a bit long for two buffalo burgers to go, but it is a sit down restaurant so I suppose that shouldn't be held against them. The pie my mother in law got was okay, with a nice crust. The burgers were juicy and delicious, but the fries were a bit lackluster. They were hot and crispy, but most likely came from a bag of frozen friends. Overall, worth it if you're in the area and need to fuel up your belly with some buffalo burger goodness. But I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Real Coconut Cream pie does not have the calf slobber they call merengue on top of it. Merengue is not cream. It is bloody eggs that have the flavor beat out of them. It was good pie but would have been better with cream.

Not the place for us, prices vs quality wasn't well matched. Service was slow and food was not quality for the prices that are high. We don't mind paying for good food but this wasn't it. Disappointed we didn't just visit McDonald's.

For a roadside diner, the food was alright. Not really worth the price- but that tends to be the norm with places like this. The service though, it's horrible! Our waitress was rude and we waited forever for our food while others who sat down after us came and went. When I went to inquire how much longer the food would be, our waitress was defensive and mean. I know three of our company, elderly ladies were confusing and indecisive in their ordering, but it didn't warrant such behavior from her. We might return someday to see the trading post next door- but the restaurant isn't worth the hassle.

We weren't sure what to expect with only a few yelps, but I think it's not a place most think to stop with Oklahoma City about a mile away. We are traveling across the U.S. And this was the better time to eat. So glad we did. We saw others leaving with leftovers so figured portions were good. We split the 16 oz ribeye with baked potato and corn. (Only $21). Came with their salad bar as one of the options. It wasn't a large one and looked unimpressive but the lettuce was fresh and the toppings included a tasty tuna salad, a potato salad that I know my hubby would have liked, ( I don't eat a lot of potato salad), a bean salad with a bean I'm not sure of, some yummy dill pickle slices, diced ham, fresh cheese and very fresh tomatoes. Now we are trying their lemon meringue another person mentioned. Nice finale. My daughter thinks it is one of the best lemon meringue pies she has ever had. (We generally like Marie Callender or Polly's pies in California, or of course home made...) And to finish the review, our waitress was excellent and very sweet. ( and we met a nice couple in the booth beside us ). So, yes, we think you should give this place a try.

Stopped by to have a bite while on a trip from Arkansas to Midland TX. There were 8 tables with customers, 4 waitresses and one person cleaning tables . This is a seat yourself restaurant so we found a booth, sat down and waited, waited and waited for over 15 minutes without any acknowledgement we were even there. While waiting, I looked over the reviews on Yelp, they all carried the same opinion, slow service. My friend and I decided they did not want out business so left. On my way out, I told the cashier and she asked me to write it down so she could pass it on to the owner who she said seems not to want to know about these issues. Too bad, we're off to find another place which understands the value of simple service!
