If I could give it 10 stars I would. The wife and I's favorite diner. This place is a perfect throw back to the days of yesteryear, and that's saying a lot since I wasn't alive in the 50's. Excellent food every time from breakfast to supper. I've had the "large breakfast" the "ham breakfast" and last time the hickory bacon burger, all PERFECT! The fries piping hot right out of the fryer and the bacon always super crispy. A huge shout out to the early morning waitress I wish I could remember her name, but if you get her you'll know. She is the best in the business and should train others how to treat a customer. She's the "bees knees!" Do yourself a favor and get here! You will not be disappointed. I know you can't please everyone, but this place will get as close as you can get!

This is a good place to eat. I really like the burgers and fries or tots. They have good breakfast food as well. I usually eat at the one in Mustang, but this location is very good as well. This is definitely a great addition for Bethany.

Great burgers and fries. The burger basket for $4.99 looks small but is so filling! The K.V. is good if you like Swiss and mushroom. Their menu is your basic small diner affair. If you're like me, I like having less options to choose from a lot of the time because I like so much. Burgers, fries, sandwiches, and etc.. Echoing Jeff M., the water is somethin'. If you don't mind funky tap water, go for it (I did because FREE), but maybe it's a good business ploy to encourage ordering a drink?

Yummy, quick, good selection without having a 12 page menu. Even the picky of the kids was happy. Shows the wrong location on the map.

Jump to the end if you want the short version. Boom-A-Rang Diner beckoned me for a couple reasons: 1. I was hungry, and I had 45 minutes to kill before getting my hair cut at Gallaway Barber Shop next door. 2. The incorrect spelling both fascinated and bothered me, which just made me even more hungry. The place has a vibe that leaves me confused. I'm assuming the main theme they're trying to go for is a 1950s and/or 1960s diner? There are posters/pictures of the Rat Pack, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, (and so on) all over the place. There's no clear sign on which generation they're trying to reach out to, because even those two decades are very unique in themselves. So the best I can make of it is that they're trying to reach out to the grandparent generation; the ones who sit around and go, "Dagnabbit, you durn kids need to put down your whatchamajiggers and listen to me tell you about when I walked up hill both ways to school with no shoes on!" As you can clearly tell, I have no idea what American grandparents actually talk about. I got the standard burger and fries. The girl asked if I wanted cheese. Sure, why not? With the addition of the cheese ($0.40), the burger and fries is $6.00+. After tip, $7.00+. Reasonable? I think so. The fries are standard fries. Some undercooked, some overcooked, and some that are Goldilocks-worthy. The burger is kind of smallish, but the beef is well cooked, and kind of crunchy because it was seared perfectly on both sides. It tasted delicious, but at the same time, was not particularly unique in any way. It was just a well-made burger that was smaller than I prefer. The water is free, and they use Sonic-type ice; the water is super chlorinated. Is that a Bethany thing? Also, the menu has this one page dedicated entirely to a bunch of phrases that makes the ordering process unnecessarily complicated. For example, rather than saying that you want a burger with lettuce and tomatoes, you can apparently take the much more circuitous approach and say that you want them to, "burn one, take it through the garden, and put a rose on it." Occam's Razor, this is not. Speaking of... Occam's razor version: It's a good burger. Kind of small.

We've never had a bad meal here. The food is good for casual dining. Like it says on the wall, "If you think you have a reservation, you're in the wrong place." And you can tell by the pic I added of their fried pickles (Pickle-O's), that we loved them! Located across the side alley from my State Farm agent, too!

I thought about giving this place four stars but they did not quite make it. But hew had a good experience and and very good service. They have move since I last visited them in downtown Bethany (if there is a downtown) and I liked that place better, but it was smaller and with its popularity I can see why they moved to be bigger place. It was not crowed when we got there around 9 p. m. but all the paved parking stalls were taken so we parked out back in the mud/grass and no lighting.

The decor is really nice. You get the feeling of the 50-60's. the food was good too although my wife's chicken fried steak was burnt:( the waitress got her a new one and took it off the ticket! Exactly what I would have done:) my chicken fried chicken sandwich was really great. I will be back for sure!!!

This 50's diner is tucked in next to Papa Angelos Pizza and an Antique store down College in Bethany. They serve things like burgers and chicken fingers. The decor is fun. While this diner has a ton of potential, they aren't near the threshold of unique. Nothing is on the menu is exceptional.
