Dink's is nothing special to look at, and definitely hometown inside. However, the service is good and the BBQ is authentic. We felt my BBQ chicken definitely outshined the brisket, which was just ok. Their BBQ sauce is very good, and our sides of baked bans and creamed corn were delicious.

A sub-par dinner. My brisket tasted old. My husband received the dregs of the French fries. They had ran out of ribs and okra. This was on a Monday night at 6:30. We won't be back.

I love this place! Anytime I come to Oklahoma I make sure to stop by for a meal and to stock up on BBQ sauce. I fill my suitcase with carefully wrapped bottles of this amazing sauce and haul it all the way back to California to share with my friends and family. This place is a BBQ joint. Nothing fancy, just darn good food at a great price and friendly staff.

Some friends recommended a visit while i was visiting from out of state (AZ). I enjoyed everything about my meal, the food was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the prices were way lower than what I'm used to paying at other BBQ places. They have a check in offer that makes the meal even more of a bargain. I got a sampler plate and was so glad I did, everything was tasty and I hope I can make it back again some day. Thanks!

I bragged on this place and took my friends who had never been here. We drove from Tulsa. We were so disappointed. We stood 10 min waiting because the waitress wanted to seat us at a table that was in the front. We heard the waitresses discussing who would serve us. One came and told us they were waiting for a group to finish before we could be seated. I walked through to use the bathroom and every booth was empty. We were finally seated after 12 min. Then, we ordered appetizers. We loved the onion straws and fried pickles. When our food came all of the meat was cold and my daughters fries were cold as well. No one asked how our food tasted. I ordered the sliced beef sandwich and 2 sides. The beef was fatty. My friends ordered ribs sausage pulled pork and sliced beef. The ribs were so dry they were like beef jerky. They hardly ate any of their food. Their comment was the bread and pickle was the best part. I was so embarrassed. The purple haired waitress brought us new fries but never asked about any of our food. There was no manager in sight. I will never eat there again. It was a horrible experience from the bad service to the cold, petrified ribs to the greasy fatty sliced beef. And now, we feel sick to our stomachs.

Please stand for the reading of The Word. 'And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.' - Genesis 1:26 'Hey, man. Go find some pigs and put them over a natural source of heat, fire and wood being the first preference, and join them together at a temperature not exceeding 150 degrees for no less than 4 hours.' - Translation of the Biblical Scholars currently inhabiting the 3rd floor of the Local Hampton Inn You may be seated. There is talk that when Abraham was up on the mountain top, there was some discussion about carving out Number 11 which was to be a detailed guide on how to correctly accomplish the above, but Abraham had a premonition that Dink's would come along a few centuries down the road and be able to handle this with minimal Divine Intervention. And so it was dropped. When looking for a place to enjoy the local brand of BBQ, there are a few tell tale signs. When I drove past and saw 2 large custom painted vans set up to deliver this pork goodness to the remote stretches, I screeched The Beast to a sudden halt and did a hard left into the parking lot. It could get no better than this. Although the parking lot was pretty full, I went in. No wait, yay! I was greeted and shown to my table by the very polite greeter who took my drink order. Why do I always feel guilty when I order a Diet Coke to accompany the carnage about to commence? The drink was delivered as was a menu. There is a Yelp check in offer for a deal on appetizers, but I was going right to the Real Deal: The Dink's Sampler Platter. On the menu, it listed the meats that come with the platter along with a selection of sides (pick two...mine were Baked Beans and Curly Q Fries, both exactly perfect). When the waitress came to take my order, she said that I could change up the meats if I wanted to....but the selections listed were exactly what I was looking for. The only other question to answer was if I wanted the Beef and Pork sliced or pulled. Slice the pork, mash up the beef. Off she went to get this together for me. I usually take the time between order and eat to post a pithy tip on Yelp and check other Social Media Sites. What, no service on my phone? Actually, that was a blessing because it gave me a chance to soak in the Joint. And Dink's is exactly that: A Joint. To me, that is the Highest of Praise for a BBQ Place. Shiny, sparkly, and plastic is the type of place that claims BBQ but actually takes whatever the Sysco truck delivered that morning, heats it up, and dumps some Heinz BBQ sauce on it. A joint usually includes a dude lovingly stirring a pot of tangy homemade BBQ sauce, adding just the right amount of seasoning to make it perfect. You want your babyback babyback babyback ribs? Then go to that place where the servers wear Bling. You want something authentic? Go to Dink's. Look, the Bartlesville Fire Department has what I suspect is a Usual Table in the place. Maybe that would be the one line review that would merit 5 stars all on its own! The food came out. My arteries involuntarily flinched while my taste buds ran rampant. Picture a somewhat rabid Pavlov's Dog salivating out of control and you have a perfect mental image of my state at this moment.....and I hadn't even unwrapped my fork from the napkin! Speaking of napkins, the good people of Dink's know and understand the deal: The table is pre-loaded with a hefty supply of napkins...because you are going to need them. I dove into the feast, vaguely contemplating how wrong it would be to forgo the supplied utensils and merely bury my face in the plate and rip the meat in my teeth. Since I was a Stranger in a Strange land, though, I resisted temptation and did it the Civilized Way. Within minutes, I was wearing Dink's Sauce on my Business Casual button down shirt like a Badge of Honor. Everything on that plate was perfect. Pork, beef, sausage, ribs. If a fly had met its untimely demise on that plate, it would have been devoured and relished. When the carnage had ceased and the plate was (mostly) empty, my server came by with the Most Ridiculous Question possible: What can I bring you for dessert? Maybe a wheelchair so I can somehow transport my rapidly expanding girth out to The Beast. Seriously, I have no idea why they even have dessert on the menu...the portions are huge, but it is so good there is no way that any Earthly Creature can stop while Protein is still visible on the plate. Dink's gets it. And gives it out. Both in massive quantities. As a true connoisseur of All Things Pork and Smoke, my hat is off to you, Dink's. Change nothing and you will enjoy a long and prosperous life.

Well the food was below average and cold. The only hot item that and was good was the fried okra. We did however have good service, but for $38.00 for two people at lunch for bbq I just was not impressed and my wife and I will never go back...

So, the 5 stars is for their sauce. Unfortunately for us, all other BBQ we try just never lives up to Dink's sauce. The food itself is always filling and pretty good. Definately would fit the "Diners, Drive Ins and Dives" category! We usually go there at least once when we are back in B'ville, but to keep my family happy, I usually have to call Dinks and have them send us a couple cases of the sauce. My kids love it and college son usually steals a few bottles when I'm not looking! I just put it in the freezer and we use it throughout the year. mmmmm, finger lickin good....can't wait till my new supply arrives next week!

One of my first food experiences here in Bartlesville. It didn't set off my impression of the city very well, food wise. I had no idea how spoiled I am in Houston with amazing restaurants everywhere. I came with a group of co-workers, all from Houston. Someone gave someone in my group the impression that Dink's was a must-try. I'm not sure why this place would be considered good food by anyone. The group got the fried pickles, we each got a bowl of chili and split an order of ribs with okra and corn. The pickles were pretty bland more of little pouches of grease. They didn't quite taste bad, but left us all feeling pretty icky. The chili was an utter disaster. Everyone agreed it was cold, all pepper and disgustingly chewy. The cold and the chewy grossed us out, but the pepper level made it completely uneatable. I never send anything back, I just eat as much as I can. We all sent the chili back. If eating one bite makes you want to vomit, then something was done very wrong. The ribs were fair, not quite tender, but not terrible like the chili. The sauce covered up the inadequacies of the ribs. Pretty much the saving grace of the experience was the BBQ sauce. The sides were a total waste of time. The okra was much like the chili, cold and blah. I think it was cooked much earlier during the day and reheated. The corn on the cob looked promising, but once I bit into it I discovered it was made of mush on the inside. Pretty much they had to have cooked it in the morning and left it in the pot of water all day long! I believe this place has sustained itself by the patronage of the locals because there is just a lack of options in Bartlesville. For the rest of us that are just visiting, we have no excuse for wasting our money and stomach pains here.

I have experienced a lot of great bbq places and this is not one of them. The food was dry and did not taste fresh at all. What a waste of money!

The locals rave about this place. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why. The meat is dry & greasy, typical of Oklahoma-native cuisine. The sauces had good flavor and the smoking of the meat made it tolerable. I've had Dink's dining in and catered at a company function. It was not good either time. My children love barbecue and they don't like this place. We'll drive 30 minutes West to Bad Brad's BBQ in Pawhuska rather than eat at Dink's.

Not a review of the food since I didn't get to have any, but their website clearly says they are open until 9pm. I walked in just after 8:30 and was told they were closed. Annoyed, I wound up getting Chinese food down the street.

Honestly the worst BBQ I've ever had. Possibly the worst restaurant I've ever visited. It was empty, the service was awful, the food was borderline rotten, and there were flies everywhere. Please don't go here.

Tried the ribs for the first time. They were much to salty, almost briney. In the past, I've had pulled pork and brisket, which I enjoyed. Pretty disappointing this time.

My oldest brother dragged me here Should have know though my brother knows all about food quality and quantity The onion potatoes are awesome My brother and his wife had the ribs and beans. I had the chopped brisket and okra. I was not disappointed food was great service was excellent. We all had sweet tea. It's hard to find a good BBQ place I'm from hot springs ar. And the best place there is a trailer. Shack called. The rib cage. Best place in town.

Thanks Yelp for this great find. We took the little ones to the Bartlesville Kiddie Park a couple of weeks ago and I decided to find a place to eat using only Yelp. Dink's was busy and loud, and I liked it. I ordered the Hot Pig sandwich with curly fries - 'twas good! We also got a full order of Onion Strings. We should have listened to Jim M. and got the half order. A full order is about 5lbs of onions and was just too much. Also, the food comes out so fast that the appetizer came out a full minute before the food. The kids meals were huge. For about $3 our child got as much food as the $7 brisket sandwich. Great value. I recommend this place to anyone, great for kids.

Not in Bartlesville often, but would NOT miss this joint when I'm there! Great food, great service, great experience! Their brisket is to die as is the smoked turkey, sausage, and coleslaw!! A MUST have when you're in the area!

Dink's has serviceable and hearty portions of barbeque at low prices. The quality of the food is subpar. I had the sampler platter with sliced brisket, sausage, ribs and pulled pork. The pork was good, the rest not so much. For starters, everything was drowned in a not very memorable sauce. After that, the ribs and brisket were tough and not very flavorful. I had barbeque on previous trips west and this doesn't measure up to places that take the care and time to do it really well. This is a place you can get fed, but you won't have any transcendant barbeque experiences here. The platter came with some side dishes that were pretty good. I liked the vinegary cole slaw and the corn on the cob wasn't steamed to mush. The service was great and very friendly. No complaints there, but the food was just ok.

Yes, yes and yes. Awesome BBQ spot - you can smell the pit smoke when you walk up and it really just makes you hungry. I love brisket and theirs is righteous. Their BBQ sauce is of the vinegar type and goes well with any of their meats. For sides, I am a fan of the onion strings and the okra. The best thing though is the prices...awesome to have good BBQ and not break the bank.

Don't bother. The brisket is like the soul of a boot. They have only bbq sauce and it lacks flavor. o A few good points? Fine, the service was friendly and attentive. The onion strings were tasty and it

I don't eat pork products but still found plenty of delicious barbeque-styled dinner choices to stir up a good appetite. I have eaten the beef brisket, the chicken breast and also their sliced turkey breast dinner. I like the turkey breast dinner the most! Yum! The dinners come with a pickle spear, a green onion and Texas toast. If you want the traditional fixin's of white bread, sliced white onions and dill pickle slices, you must ask for them. They do not have a lunch menu but i have found the leftovers are just as good the next time around. Enjoy!

I am new to Yelp but have become a huge fan since I have been dating my significant other Blanca_O who is an Elite Yelper. Since I am on the road for business I thought that I would try my hand at Yelp and find a great local restaurant for myself. I was not disappointed with what I found. Dink's BBQ is a local favorite and considering the food and service I can see why. Since I had not eaten since breakfast I was really hungry. Cassi made several recommendations and since everything sounded great and I couldn't decide I went with the sampler platter. I got the pulled pork, sliced brisket, hot sausage and ribs. The brisket was a bit dry but the pork, sausage and ribs more than made up for it. The portions were more than satisfactory( I have enough to make a sandwich for lunch tomorrow) and the price was quite reasonable.

I wish this place was in Tulsa. This is one of the best bbq places in Oklahoma in my opinion. If you are ever in Bartlesville don't leave without eating here, otherwise you are really missing out. I have had a few things off the menu and each time I am always so satisfied.

We shared a 1/2 order of onion strings and a loin back rib dinner. Miserably full, but satisfied with the food, we left with a good impression of Dink's. I have a soft spot for management that gives a damn, and Darren visited our table to check on things and make small talk. As for the food, the ribs tasted like they were cooked low and slow; tender but with just the right amount of chew. The sauce is sweeeeet. Those onion strings were salty and superabundant. The potato salad was passable, but only colonically speaking.

My family and I eat here just about every time we come to Bartlesville. I get the sliced brisket and it's always good. The staff is very friendly and has accommodated us when we've had large groups - about 12 people - with no advance notice. Dink's isn't a fancy place but we like it and will come back.

First of all, let me state that I am quite biased when it comes to BBQ! I have spent most of my life in the mid-south - the area near Memphis, Tn - which is where the BEST BBQ is to be had, without exception!! One of the previous reviews of Dink's said that it has the best BBQ in the city - and this is NOT a compliment for Bartlesville!!! My group recently attempted to eat at Dink's. Being cautious, I ordered a sampler platter with pork ribs, sliced pork loin, beef brisket, and mild sausage. NONE of it was edible!! The ribs were PURE fat - and got left on the plate! I know that pork contains fat, but this was ridiculous!! The brisket was dry - looking as if the individual slices had been heated (overly so!!) at high heat. Actually, everything would have been fairly tasteless if the BBQ sauce, which tasted as if it came out of a bottle from the grocery, had not been lavished over the meat! GOOD BBQ needs little if any sauce!! My wife ordered a brisket sandwich - and found it to be the same as the brisket on my plate. OK, the slaw and onion strings were pretty good (not great) - but I left most of the food on my plate!! Good grief, this stuff was inedible!! Also, some of the reviews had bragged on the 'home-cooked' desserts. When we asked about what they had, the waitress informed us that their desserts are 'store variety' items. Moral of the story: In Bartlesville, don't go close to Dink's unless you want to waste lots of money - and go hungry!! Actually, everyone in our group agreed that we would have been better off going to McDonalds hoping that they still have McRibs!!! And THAT is quite sad!! Bleccchhh!!!!!!

Excellent pulled pork! Service is friendly and prompt. It's a small restaurant so best to try and get there before the lunch and dinner rush. If you love BBQ, this is one place you must try!

I don't understand the appeal of this place with people from Bartlesville, but I think this place has the worst BBQ. All the meat is extremely dry and the sauces taste like any generic BBQ sauce you can buy at the grocery store. I have tried to eat it 10+ times when it has been catered to work events, but the meat still tastes like unflavored mulch every time. Nothing special about this place, would not recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy what they are eating.

Ate there last week the baby back ribs didn't have any meat the waitress kept making excuses that's the way they always come anyway try burn company barbecue in Tulsa They don't come that way they come loaded with meat. Lost my business she should have brought out more ribs and I would have been happy. Brad E.

Wife and I were in Bartlesville to check out the Phillips museum. Nice! Now I was pretty hungry when I got here so perhaps I was bias, but I really liked this place! Checked in using Yelp and received a free half appy. Fried pickle spears that were quite tasty. Sweet deal guys! Food and service were both great. I mean, as BBQ goes I have a hard time saying any BBQ is bad (unless it's over-hyped) and this place was no exception. Additionally, they let me split my sandwich in half, thus trying two different meats. Another plus! The beans were sweet and delicious, and my wife's chicken was very nice as well. The only knock I'd consider giving is the way the place looked. A little too low ceiling and greasy spoony for my liking, but hey! We're in Bartlesville! Lol If I go through there again I'd hit this BBQ joint no problem!

I really hate to give Dink's a bad review but "it is what it is." I've been eating at Dink's since the day it opened and bragged about it for decades. Came to B'ville for a visit last weekend and HAD to eat there. Unfortunately, the food has gone way downhill! I had a pulled pork sandwich that was dry and bland potato salad that looked like it had been sitting out in the heat. It had a greasy sheen on the top and I was afraid to eat it. My hubby had a brisket sandwich that he said was good and a rib that was dry. We had the fried pickle appetizer also. It was a HUGE portion and they were tasty. I hope we just came on a bad night but from the looks of the other reviews, it seems like the restaurant has become very inconsistent. Maybe when I come next time, it will be better. So sad to see such a good thing going down!!

Have gone to Dinks for over 20 years. Until the last couple years I'd never been unhappy with anything on the menu. Things are changing and it's sad to see a reliable favorite start slipping. I've let the last couple instances of degraded quality slide but tonight was the third time. My favorite has always been their loin back ribs. This was the third time in the last couple years they've been dry and hard. Both our orders were bad. Not a good thing. Only thing I can figure is they're leftover ribs from the previous day or the catering end of the business. Regardless the reason, it's a huge disappointment after so many previous years of consistent quality. If you order the lion back ribs you best ask if they're today's or yesterday's. Love their BBQ sauce but I'm very much done with Dinks at this point.

Okay, so we were driving back to Tulsa from the tall grass prairie preserve via Bartlesville and wanted a place to eat. Came across this joint and after reading some of the reviews here on yelp wanted to give it a shot. Bad idea...this place was pretty worn down and although the smell of BBQ emanated throughout the restaurant this place was not good. I had the sliced brisket...it was pretty rubbery and not very good. Seemed like it was leftover from the last week. The onion strings were decent, but the cole slaw not so much. Too much celery salt and pretty watered down. On the bright side, the server was really nice and efficient. On the down side, the food tasted like ass and was pretty bad and really overpriced. I would stay clear of this place if you want good BBQ. Even rib crib is better and that's not saying a whole lot.

It was a Monday night, not too many cars in the parking lot but we waited to be seated for 25 minutes for a party of 6, which by the way were two children (5 and 6mos) and 4 adults. We waited another 10-15 minutes after being seated for a server. When our food arrived one of the sandwiches had a hair, when the waitress took it and came back to say it would be a few minutes for the new one to come, she justified it by saying it was a string from the apron not an actual hair but they were making a new plate. The meat was warm at best, fries were cold. I've eaten at Dink's for years and it seems that it continues to decline. The meat and BBQ sauce is amazing but the service and the time it takes to get food is not worth the wait.

What's not to like about Dink's. Locally owned, lots of local personality, world-class BBQ, Root Beer in frosty glass mugs. You've got to get a half order of onion strings for the table (serves up to 4). They're decadent, but totally worth it with some moderation. In Oklahoma, BBQ means pork, but being a native Texan, to me BBQ is beef. Fortunately both are excellent at Dink's. * this star rating is relative to the Bvl area

I will admit up front that I am bit if a barbeque snob. My wife and I just happened upon this place and decided to give it a try. We were not impressed. The brisket was dry and tasted old. The hot sausage had a hot dog like consistency (not like any sausage I have ever seen). The sides were forgetable as well. The coconut pie for dessert was the only saving grace. The service was actually pretty good. I will go to the RIb Crib the next time.

The dining area was clean, but I didn't like decor. I think it's probably more that I'm not the target demographic. I ordered the beef brisket and onion rings. The beef wasn't as flavorful as I expected, and the barbeque sauce did not taste good to me. The onion rings, however, were delicious: I ate far too many of them. I expected awesome beef, especially with the barbeque pit out back, but this was a disappointing meal.

I've been here only once as a kid and it was good. I recall that it was near the Best Yet and TG&Y. Now, I don't know what the stores are anymore. But, it is the general direction of where the big soccer fields of Robinhood Park. People will tell you to eat here for the best BBQ. My mom had her farewell luncheon here and everyone had a good time.

Totally agree with Beau and Jim. Have loved this place since it opened in '82. Unfortunately I only get the real thing about once a year when I'm in town, but I always buy 2-3 bottles of sauce to last me while I'm gone. My consistent - the Pig Special sammich (pork, for you non-Okies). You can even buy sauce from their website!

The chopped brisket is delicious! Visited from California. A local told me i had to stop by before I left, glad i did. It has an old-school road diner look and feel. Plenty of tables, but was crowded around dinner time.

This is good BBQ. Their sliced or chopped meats have great flavor. I don't recommend ribs. It's hard to get good ribs at a restaurant. Best to smoke your own.

After hearing about Dinks from my neighbors, I made the jaunt up to the North. The food here is decent.. Is it worth a long drive? In my book probably not. If I were in Bartlesville I would not pass it up! The service was very good and my drink @ Dinks was always full! This is a no frills place. I had the sample platter that came with 4 meats and 2 sides. Brisket was on the dry side, The hot sausage was very bland, Pulled pork was tasty! The ribs (beef) were very tender and meaty! The coleslaw here is vinegar dressed which was out of this world. The baked beans were up to par for a Que joint! The sauce here is on the sweet side, it tends to be a heavy sauce. It was better than average. I will be back when I am in the area for business.

(2)Brian L.
Honestly the worst BBQ I've ever had. Possibly the worst restaurant I've ever visited. It was empty, the service was awful, the food was borderline rotten, and there were flies everywhere. Please don't go here.
(1)Rachael H.
Tried the ribs for the first time. They were much to salty, almost briney. In the past, I've had pulled pork and brisket, which I enjoyed. Pretty disappointing this time.
(2)Rob A.

(5)Brian S.
(2)Lyn P.
(4)Dan B.
Don't bother. The brisket is like the soul of a boot. They have only bbq sauce and it lacks flavor. o A few good points? Fine, the service was friendly and attentive. The onion strings were tasty and it

Best BBQ in town, Fo sho!

(4)Scott D.
(3)Steven P.
The bar-b-que was good and hit the spot. I had the hot pig sandwich, and my wife got the sampler. Good flavor and a good spot to eat.
(3)Steve B.
My family and I eat here just about every time we come to Bartlesville. I get the sliced brisket and it's always good. The staff is very friendly and has accommodated us when we've had large groups - about 12 people - with no advance notice. Dink's isn't a fancy place but we like it and will come back.
(4)Eric H.
Great Sliced Brisket sandwich. Sides are OK. Definitely worth a try!

(1)Diana F.
Excellent pulled pork! Service is friendly and prompt. It's a small restaurant so best to try and get there before the lunch and dinner rush. If you love BBQ, this is one place you must try!
(5)Marissa F.
(1)Brad E.

(1)Jim M.

(2)David H.
(3)Tatiana D.
I like Dink's. It not pretentious and the food is good
(4)Phillip Y.
(4)David M.
(4)Mike F.
The chopped brisket is delicious! Visited from California. A local told me i had to stop by before I left, glad i did. It has an old-school road diner look and feel. Plenty of tables, but was crowded around dinner time.
(4)Scott M.
This is good BBQ. Their sliced or chopped meats have great flavor. I don't recommend ribs. It's hard to get good ribs at a restaurant. Best to smoke your own.
(5)Chad F.
