If you're passing through while traveling I-35, your time is probably better spent elsewhere. Mediocre service. Mediocre food. Distracting atmosphere. Our waitress seemed very nice and was prompt with drinks, but before she brought our food she managed to spill BBQ sauce all down the front of her. From then on, every interaction made a reference to this mishap. Our food was brought out 1 or 2 dishes at a time (there were 5 of us) and when we only had one more dish we were waiting on, she told us it would be a couple minutes. We were all very hungry and you can only fuss around with your food so long waiting for the others to get theirs. I was excited about the beer muffin but it didn't live up to my memory of it at the Norman location. We were on a road trip (Wichita to San Antonio) and I convinced my fellow travelers this was worth a longer lunch. Sadly it wasn't.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE, I wish I could list zero stars! Having spent over 10 years in the restaurant industry...I try to be understanding of any situation. However, for the first time ever....I hit my limit here. I viewed the website and place an order for pickup. Everything seems to be wrong at this place! Online menu...wrong. Staffs' awareness of menu...wrong: I was told they didn't have any seafood items, but the grilled tuna salad....wrong. My order was wrong...apparently ordering the "apricot chicken" meant chicken fingers, aka..."appetizer chicken". WHAT?!? Clearly....wrong...this was another item on the online menu that wasn't sold at this location. The food was mediocre as well. If I were the proprietor...I'd be ashamed.

Don't bring your ADD children here. It's like a Friday's with a Multiple Personality Disorder. There's a million things going on all over the place--visually and on the menu. Is it a movie-loving place as noted by the multiple movie posters all over the walls and tables? Is it a sports' bar with the flat screens and sports stuff all around? Is it a landing ground for all the obscure items hanging on the walls and from the ceilings? And what's with the grocery cart and TV in the bathroom? I don't know the answer to any of these questions, but Interurban has been a stop for us for many years now. Menu items range from pasta to hamburgers to baby back ribs, but it's better than "those other" places and it's not a big chain (that I know of!), so that's something nice. Our service today was pretty okay. Not awesome, nor as good as it should have been for how empty the place was. Other servers seemed to be on the ball, maybe ours was having a rough day. My burger was just alright and the fries tasted as they had been sitting awhile. I'd pick it over the other places along the highway. It's a good stop after being in the car 4 hours.

Good food. I highly recommend the monte cristo sandwich. It isn't health food, but MAN is it good. Their salads are good too. It is much better than the big chains like TGI Friday's or Chili's.

One thing, big portions. The food was really good so try and venture! Really nice service and the actual place is a really neat setting. By the way make a stop by the bathroom before you leave, just saying.

This is our new favorite restaurant on our many trips between Illinois and Texas. The friendly staff greeted us at the door and immediately seated us. The drinks and appetizer were delivered to our table very quickly. The chips were warm and fresh. The home made salsa was awesome. While we didn't wait long for our food, the server kept checking on us even though she was busy with other tables. The brick oven pizza did not disappoint. Our little guy ordered the Mac n cheese and was very happy with it. The children's meal comes with a side of fries and a cookie for dessert. Plenty of food for any hungry kid! Our supreme pizza was nicely priced and more than enough to feed three adults and take a slice in a go box. Our server was very attentive, and sent us on our way with a fresh bag of chips, salsa, and refilled sodas in go cups. Great great place if you want good service, tasty food, clean bathrooms, cool decorations, nice staff, and very reasonable prices!!!! We will ALWAYS stop here from now on!!!

The place itself is like TGIFridays with a western twist I guess. The hostess seemed pissed that we wanted a booth instead of a table with our kid in a car seat. I don't know why, personal issues I guess. Our waitress was great. Kept our drinks up and she was nice. The food was ok. The prices weren't good for how much food you get. I paid $9 for a sandwich and it looked like a kids meal sandwich with a ton of fries. The fries were seasoned but you couldn't taste it, so they were way bland. My husband ordered a honey chicken sandwich and it was ok. Not a place I will go back to.

I have eaten here numerous times and when they are on their game, they are ON THEIR GAME. It's that roll of the dice that keeps me coming back. Decor - It's cluttered with memorabilia and knick-knacks but it's never bothered me. Service - I'm not sure how to define the wait-staff. They've never been rude, always nice, but it doesn't really seem like they want to be there either. Food - I love their pizza. The brick oven is great and usually a hit. I often get a margarita pizza (3 ingredients, basil, cheese, tomato). I've had the following problems ordering this pizza here... - The pizza was made and brought to me with green on it. The green was parlsey. - The pizza was made and brought to me. I asked the waiter for basil and he brought me bacon. - The pizza was made and brought to me. I asked where the basil was and the waitress informed me they were out. I informed her I'd like something other than a cheese pizza then. (this has happened THREE TIMES) I've never had any problems with their burgers, they are quite good. My husband has ordered a few of the different salads and these are all negatives to him (pluses to others). They tend to be overdressed and/or the balance of ingredients is incredibly off. TL:DR A great place to eat when they are on top of things just be ready to place russian roulette with your dining experience.

I'm one of those who got sucked into Friday Night Lights after it ended on Netflix with Colin. We (embarrassingly?) thrived on every episode. Thus, when walking into this restaurant, I felt like I might very well see the group of football player actors from the show at the corner table. Well, I didn't see any football players but I bet my bottom dollar that this place is hoppin' with the local team on Friday nights. All of that being said, there is a reason why I'm explaining all of this: there is a sense of nostalgia with all of the memorabilia hanging around and excitement with all kinds of lighting which makes the place feel special. A place I'm sure my parents would have taken me to all the time growing up. Family friendly and a cool place for the older kids. The food is basic American and the menu is large enough to find something for everyone. I was making my usual drive going south bound on 35 when hunger struck and I didn't want a quick stop, but, rather an adventurous stop getting a feel for the town I was driving through when I saw the Interurbahn sign. My order was taken by a kind teenage gentleman who graciously filled my water cup several times. I had a chicken sandwich topped with avocado and onion rings and it was A-OK! Even though it's likely I won't stop here when I'm driving through again, I know there are clear eyes with full hearts here that can't loose making memories at this classic grill!

I see all the bad reviews, but I'm not sure why. Interurban is interesting. As you've seen there is stuff hanging everywhere, but it's fun to be able to look around and always see something new. Not to mention, the food is good! Anyone can find something they like, and they actually cook a pretty good steak. If you're looking for something else, try the fried chicken club salad, the cajun fettuccini alfredo, or the chicken fried steak. All are good choices and the portions are big enough to feed an army. You'll have something for lunch tomorrow. All in all, I say this is a win. This Interurban is quite different from its Duncan and Norman counterparts, but in my opinion, it is the best!

I can't speak for everyone, and I believe this place is a different experience for different outlooks, but for me this just wasn't my cup o' java. It is your run of the mill corporate joint and has really nothing especially new to offer. It has some tex-mex and a couple pizza pies on the menu to spice up the menu, but I can't really say it is anything above and beyond. If you want to grab a crew and go chat it up over some burgers or some quesadillas, it won't be too bad here. The menu gives a big group with varying opinions options, and this makes me think of the restaurant as more of a settling place. Bobby want's pizza, but Suze wants some enchiladas, and Peter Poplosovic over here wants a steak. What a kerfuffle. Well at IU you can get all of these, just sac a little quality. Like I said, it's a fun place to get your group drink-and-shout on, but as a restaurant, it just leaves me wanting.

I travel a lot with my job, eat out most of the month. This place was once a local favorite. It has since gone down hill, the service is hit or miss. I wouldn't recommend to anyone like we once did. I've ordered multiple to go orders, and they can't seem to even get that correct. We'll go back eventually and see if we can update this review any.

Had lunch here a few days ago. The chicken club salad was good. Lots of bacon, cheese and scallions. They were also generous with the portions of Cajun chicken. My colleagues got the burger and the Cuban and both of them looked delicious. The environment is really kind of quirky. The year roll that came with the salad was fantastic.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations.
