Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I happened to stop in to this restaurant the other weekend. I was visiting family in the area and we were looking for a good place to have dinner that wouldn't be too expensive. My Aunt was talking about this new Mexican food/Yogurt place that opened up next to the movie theater, after seeing a flick we grabbed dinner. Upon walking in we were greeted by a very nice younger girl (I think her name was Carla?) who welcomed us to the restaurant and walked us through what they were all about. I ordered a machaca (spicy pulled beef) burrito which was awesome. The way it was set up was sort of like Chipotle, but if there was a bigger emphasis on fresh interesting ingredients(fresh sliced jalapenos, fresh diced tomatoes, etc.) I put all the fixings on my burrito. The guacamole in particular was ridiculously good. It has been awhile since I've found guacamole at a restaurant that can be considered edible(much less something that is ACTUALLY delicious.) We were checked out by the manager, Chris who was really welcoming and funny. After everybody sat down, our table got really quiet really quickly. Everyone was so busy eating that no one wanted to talk (lol). The food was honestly really good. Normally when you go to places like this you expect some quality to your food, but Fresco's really exceeded what I was expecting. And everyone who was with us seemed to be genuinely enjoying their meal as well. After we finished eating dinner, we began to set our eyes on the yogurt machines that they have set up. The yogurt set up is almost like the burrito bar, but you choose your yogurt and serve yourself. After choosing your flavor(s) of yogurt, you move on to the topping bar. There were about 40 or so different toppings to choose from ranging from fresh fruit like raspberries and strawberries to candy bar pieces and other assorted candy like nerds and sour patch kids. The set up was really clean and all of the fresh fruit looked really appetizing. It wasn't like some of the other yogurt bars I've been to, where the fresh stuff looks really gross. The girl that rang up our yogurt was really nice and my yogurt came out to $3 or so. I think the yogurt was only $0.35 an ounce, so I was able to get a good amount of toppings on my yogurt. After all of us sat back down to our table we dug into our yogurt. It had a really nice consistency to it, it wasn't too icy or runny. I had the pomegranate yogurt and topped it with raspberries and sour patch kids. The flavor of the pomegranate was great. I'm a huge fan of pomegranate and this certainly delivered. The rest of my family liked it as well. Overall, I had a great experience at Fresco's. The service was great, all of the employees we encountered were very pleasant, and the manager seemed like a genuinely nice guy and helped make us feel welcome. The food exceeded pretty much everything i was expecting. It all had great flavor, and there was a lot of variety to choose from, whether ordering a burrito or making a yogurt cup I had plenty of things to choose from. And everything I chose was really good. I recommend this new restaurant to anyone who enjoys good Mexican food and/or frozen yogurt. I will definitely be going back next time I am in the area.

I have been to Fresco's several times. It is a total Chipolte ripoff. The big difference is the ingredients are so cheap and are not fresh. It literally has no taste. I even got habenero sauce and it didn't even taste spicy! The frozen yogurt is usually the only reason to go there but on my latest visit it was so soupy it was hard to call it frozen. I got the cheesecake yogurt I added strawberries, blueberries and crushed up graham crackers. The fruit was frozen and the graham crackers were stale. If this business were anywhere else but Ada it would have closed a long time ago.

Build-your-own burrito plus frozen yogurt is... different. This place combines two recent fads in self serve fast food. It does neither of them stunningly well but does well enough to make an acceptable stop for a quick meal. I'd recommend sticking to a burrito or quesadilla. The meats and sauces are so juicy that tortilla chips become a soggy mess.

The actual food is mediocre to bad. Picture beans getting a crust on top because they are dehydrated, unstirred and left under a heat lamp. Imagine meat so oily it has a 1/2 inch thick yellow film on top of it. On the plus side, the yogurt is great!

To save time when I have luch alone, I often come here to order a bow of salad with beef. They also have many kind of ice cream . Good price. One thing I really don't like, that's rice always undercooked, it's hard to eat. Everything else is ok. I have several options to choice. If you'd like to have quick lunch, I think this place is good opinion. They have outdoor place where always sunshine and windy, pretty quite for thinking. This location is good to open a coffeeshop maybe. Conclusion, good option for quick lunch alone!
