I am a huge fan of good customer service. I can eat and be happy with just about any food purchase if the service is good. With that said, I almost didn't return to the Bruegger's in Worthington, although it's only a couple of blocks from work, because of the poor service my friend and I received there a couple of weeks ago. I totally don't understand why people make the decision to work in an industry that requires good customer service skills or people hire them if they have little or no customer service skills. But anyhow... Today I went and the service was 200% better. I really liked how patient and attentive the ladies were who took me and my friend's orders as we struggled with deciding what to order. They patiently offered suggestions and fixed the breakfast sandwiches exactly the way we wanted, eliminating some items and replacing them with others without extra charges. I would have never been able to get the delicious egg wrap they made or the service at McDonald's or Panera's.

The only reason I really come to this Bruegger's location is because my husband loves it and they make fresh eggs with the bagels. Other than that, I'm not as big of a fan of this place as he is. It all started with the bad service, I was in a hurry to get my bagel so I thought coming here was ideal. I guess I was wrong I order the bagel I wanted and the girl doesn't even make it for me. I'm stuck waiting for about half an hour until someone realizes this bagel was never even made. Not only did this make me mad, I was late for my volunteer event because none of the workers even looked to see if I had a bagel ready. It took one guy to ask why am I waiting half an hour for something that can easily be made in 5 minutes. He took the initiative to go out and make me a brand new bagel so that I could finally leave. Granted I couldn't finish this bagel because of the time constraint I had and half of it ended up going to the trash. What a waste of time it felt just standing there waiting for someone to realize a bagel was never made for me. I hope the service here improves or I'll just have to go elsewhere.

I went to Bruegger's for lunch today, and had outstanding service! The employee who helped us, Zoe, really went out of her way in terms of customer service. While my cinnamon sugar bagel was toasting, she asked me how my day was, talked to me about her day, and even wished me an excited happy birthday when I showed her my coupon from their eclub. She seemed genuinely interested in how we were doing, and she really brightened my day! I wish all employees were as excited as she was. Will be back :)

Picked up bagels a few weekends ago. Good selection around 9am on a Saturday morning. The bagels were delicious. This would have received 5 stars if ANY employee in the place had been friendly. The worst was the employee (Kasey-shift supervisor) who was helping me. What a sourpuss. Never even cracked a smile or said have a good day or anything. Just looked bored and mildly pissed off the entire time. Not really sure how she ended up in her position, but if I was the proprietor of this establishment I would seriously reconsider my front-line people or at least re-educate in the customer service department!

I went to Bruegger's this morning after seeing it mentioned on Yelp. It's about the sane distance from my home as Panera Bread. It's a much smaller store than Panera and they seem to only have two employees working the a.m. shift. I did have a bagel and a hot chocolate and both of those were pretty good. But it's not going to save my any distance or get me any more quality so I'll probably stick to Panera.

Had to drop them a star. Their bagels are so good but if you're like me and buy a dozen and then freeze some (to have over the course of a week or two) you shouldn't expect them to taste as fresh. I used to do this back east with Manhattan Bagel and they were always wonderful no matter how long you kept them. I miss those bagels so much. Brueggers is still my 2nd fav but I wish they could be frozen and not turn into crap =-( My fav here is still their chicken salad on a rosemary bagel. Best lunch EVER!!

Lemme say from the git'go I love Bruegger's. I used to frequent the shop that was in Dublin west of the river till it closed then reopened in another location that was outta the way for me. I now hit this place weekly on Wednesday's for Bakers Dozen Day and score a bag of boiled then baked goodness to go. Nice selction of tasty spreads available and decent prices for fresh quality bagels. Nice peeps working here although I have never stayed here for a meal or drink they do a good job at the counter. The only reason this place doesn't score that 5th star for me it sometime the selction of bagel varieties can thin out at times, they should keep up on a day offering a special for large quantity. Otherwise I hit this place every week by walking in the door singing my "Bagel Wednesday" song, sweet price for tasty bagels. BTW this building once was a Friendly's, so much better in this form....

I'm in the process of relocating from Pittsburgh to Columbus (Worthington area specifically), so I appreciate finding a "familiar face" that helps to keep the costs down during my transition. This is such a nice find in the downtown Worthington area, and I've been twice now. Last trip I got the "cafe sized" (small) salad, and was amazed how much the Bruegger girl packed into it - a delicious, healthy value! I also appreciate healthier drinks like the Izzy's sodas with no added sugar. It's hard to find better eating options at reasonable prices these days, but these folks come through! About the only complaint I had was the less than stellar soundtrack being played a bit too loud. Great job, guys! Dave

This location just opened a few months ago and I am a fan. The staff is very friendly and the food/coffee is very good. The hazlenut coffee is some of the best I've had. On my way to becoming a regular. Free wifi as well.

Perfect location for a bagel shop! I'm a huge fan of their seasonal Apple Crisp Bagel! The staff is very friendly and quick service! Wish they had a drive thru though!

The bagels are great. Unfortunately it's managed poorly. There is never more than two people behind the counter and their bagel supply often runs low.

The food is great as always but the staff has absolutely plummeted. The service is unbelievably bad compared to just 6 months ago. When I first moved in to the neighborhood a year ago we were so happy with the place that we bought the bottomless mug deal as a no brainer. Now there is no way I would renew that. It's truly sad as this place is right around the corner and they do a great lox bagel.
