Went there for the sushi and was impressed by the quality of the food, the number of of sushi and sashimi offerings, the attitude of its employees, the pricing, quantity and the decor. Hard to believe that a chain the quality of Osaka is available in Wooster. Plan to return many times.

Pretty awesome!!! People were raving as they left about the food I was so anxious to eat!!! Ordered to go and it was pretty tasty. California girl was happy!!! Nice presentation & friendly new staff. Bring your friends!!! They need more signage but the inside as you can see is nice!!! I ordered two rolls snd both were scrumptious !! Ill be back!

I'm new here in Wooster and have not tried many sushi places yet but this place is defiantly over priced for the experience and quality of the food. I did not enjoy my meal and I feel as though their menus need a makeover.

Celebrated my birthday tonite with family and friends at Osaka, Wooster. The food and service were great! They even brought me a small ice cream puff and sang Happy Birthday to me! Everyone is so friendly. Great to have such a different restaurant in Wooster. Highly recommend.

What a disappointment! The hostess dropped her phone 3 times in front of us as she proceeded to greet us. I wanted to say "if you would have it put away where it belongs you wouldn't be doing this". My husband and I sat on the hibachi side. My husband also ordered sushi but it was never brought until the end when he finally asked for it. The waitress acted like she didn't know what he was talking about but it eventually came out. The salad dressing was a watered down thousand island with a hint of pineapple. Not your typical ginger dressing. It was disgusting. I noticed that no one was eating it. Can they not get the hint? The chef had absolutely no talent for his so-called show while cooking. It was very lame and low key. The waitress kept trying to refill my Sierra Mist up with water but when she did refill it correctly it was covered in drink and she brought a hand full of napkins and handed them both to me. Why not wipe it off before bringing? The food was just okay. Not much flavor at all and steak is not too good but chicken and shrimp are better. It's not your usual shrimp getting thrown at you during preparation as another poster stated. It is zucchini pieces so as it flew to me I hit it with my hand and it went the other direction. I was not in a good mood by this point. The soup was served on a tray that was spilled all over the tray so it was served in a wet mess. Sorry for the long post but wanted you to get the picture here. Hopefully, this restaurant may possibly read this and get a few hints. Not going back so it doesn't really matter for me but for others.

Seared tuna is delicious! They have good sushi and sashimi. My favorite place to go for sushi in wayne county

I was surprised by how many things are on the menu. Huge sushi selection, as well as hibachi, Thai, Japanese, and Chinese food. Slightly high priced in my opinion, but I would go back again.

Great atmosphere, worth the wait for this place to open. The food is reasonably priced. $9 for a hibachi shrimp lunch with vegetables and rice. You can definitely get in easily for lunch, but they said to make reservations on the weekend.

This is your typical Hibachi/Tepenyaki style restaurant. Lucky for Wooster, it just opened and is new and refreshing. Also, compared to the other Asian places in the area, this one is the best. I gave it four stars be as of that fact, otherwise, it would have been a high three based on the food. The best time to go is at lunch, but beware because lunchtime gets very busy because the prices are almost half what they are at dinner. If you're looking for something faster, skip the hibachi and just sit down. You can still get the hibachi food, but don't have to go through the show if you don't want to. The chef's are entertaining and well trained. And like I said, it's a new restaurant so the chef's aren't burnt out from doing the same thing over and over, so you may get a little more entertainment. Now, food quality: the food quality is just okay. They've cut corners where they can. This is the first place like this where they toss raw zucchini into your mouth instead of the traditional shrimp. The cuts of meat are fine, I don't recommend the steak. If you want beef, spring for the filet mignon. The soup is more of a very lightly flavored broth and the salad doesn't have a typical ginger sauce, but rather, a watered down thousand island. The cooks don't flavor the food very heavily, so have the ginger sauce and some soy sauce on hand. Also, the food doesn't taste good the next day, so be prepared to come hungry or share. Now let's talk sushi. While this is hands down the best sushi in Wooster, it's a bit heavy handed. The pieces of sushi are rather large. The deep fried (tempura) tolls were very heavy, and while although the flavor was there, it should be delicate and light.

New hibachi sushi place. You wouldn't be able to tell from the outside how nice it is. Great atmosphere, excellent service, good food. Would make a good date night. I did not eat at the hibachi side, we sat at a table and enjoyed chicken teriyaki and a bento box. Will return in the future.

My wife and I went here once for dinner. The food was good and the show was excellent. It was a bit pricey, though. We took a group of 8 there for lunch on Sunday only to find that Sunday was dinner prices all day long. There were no lunches on Sunday. Our entire group got up from the table, left and went to another restaurant. Very disappointing.

Had a great time. Went to the non hibachi side. Food came out very fast and fresh. Waiter was funny, and came by often. Food tasted great although the rice could have been better. Price was about the same as other hibachi grills. SO nice to have a hibachi in Wooster!

I really enjoy sushi. I've been lucky enough to be able to enjoy some really good sushi all over the the country...from fatty tuna in California to fresh poke in Hawaii. Osaka in Wooster is very good. It's fresh, tasty, and nicely prepared. Service is good, as well. While it might not be world-class by sushi connoisseur standards, it's a solid 4.5-5 stars in Wooster, Ohio.
