A great casual Italian place in the heart of Wilmington, OH with what seems to be a fun and hip staff. Their calzones are very good but maybe a little too cheesy. Try the Drunken Monkey Bread! Not too sweet. A great finish!

I know others from the Wilmington area tend to be impressed with the food here, but I always thought it was pretty sub par. First off, they really send the wrong message calling it Mediterranean, with the fact that they mainly have Italian American fare, and very few other Mediterranean choices. I remember having the ravioli here, which was definitely, over priced considering how you could tell it was pre-packaged frozen. Even the garlic bread is pretty sub par. The service is slow-average. I would save your money and head to a real Mediterranean or Italian restaurant in Columbus or Cincinnati area.

Being from Boston and used to wonderful Italian and Greek food, I can say that this place did not disappoint. For being located in Ohio and being a bit of an roll of the dice if this restaurant was going to be good or not I can say my expectations were not very high going in. I was very much surprised and happy with the chicken alfredo that I got here. It was creamy but not too buttery and the noodles were cooked just right and had a good fresh consistency. I found the appetizer of calamari to be good as well and I was happy that we chose to go here. With the chain restaurants plentyful in this area it was nice to find a more home cooked place with an inexpensive menu choice.

Eh, I'm not sure. The salad was decent, but who messes up a salad? But the deep-fried appetizer was overly deep fried and the calamari portion needed to be more peppery buttery garlicy than anything. The manacotti was really quite good, and the main course should carry the meal, right? But...and there's always a but...there was no offer for parmesian cheese. I lived in Wilmington in the 90s, and really wanted to enjoy this place when I happened to find myself there at the dinner hour. I didn't. Not that much.

It's really more like 3 1/2 stars, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that its been awhile since I've gone. This is truly a little hidden gem in Wilmington. In fact, I didn't know it was there for a good 6 months! If you're wanting pasta, like you know pasta, don't go here. They have a lot of dishes that are pretty dead on traditional actual Italian and Greek. You won't find spaghetti on this menu. (Ok you might but it won't be called that...) But their selection is bountiful, they offer good wine, and filling portions. The service at times seems a little slower, but I'm ok with it for authentic.

Best pizza and pasta in Wilmington. Homemade pizza dough and pasta daily...the salads are fresh, big and tasty! This is hands-down one of Wilmington's best restaurants.

Good food, but service is a little slow at times, even when it isn't busy. It is kind of pricey for just a casual lunch.

The Mediterranean has friendly staff and their food is flavorful. I enjoyed the chicken sandwich with their homemade buffalo sauce when I went to this restaurant for lunch at the end of April. My husband loves the cod loin sandwich with dill sauce. He craves one every so often and then I'll order a take-out order and pick one up. I like the variety on the menu with soups, sandwiches, pastas, pizzas, calzones etc. There is enough to try out and that does not include their specials. I'll be stopping in again soon!

My husband enjoyed his meatball sub and i enjoyed my chicken parm until late that night when i had food poisoning. It was terrible and we will never go back.

Best meal in this town so far (although I admit I have not eaten more than 4 or 5 places). I had the angel hair with basil pesto. Perfectly prepared. The interior is modern and above average, good ambiance. Definitely a place to be seen. My somewhat finicky friend also had a good meal, he's from Seattle so has a lot of other choices in life.

Good. A little pricey at times but for Wilmington, OH it is good. I recommend spicy marinara, meatballs, sausage. I did host a group event there once and was generally disappointed with the management of it so I wouldn't recommend it for that.
