Years ago in Columbus Ohio there were several Damon's restaurants. Sadly they all closed. When we go camping I always like trying local restaurants. I was very surprised to see a Damon's. I thought they were all gone. Entering the restaurant was almost a flashback. It looked like some of the ones I remembered. It has almost arena seating with the TV screens in the middle. Funny enough they still had what looked like the original sound selectors at each table. Too cool! Our server CJ, came over very quickly to great us and get our drinks. CJ was fantastic - probably one of the best servers we've had in years. Very friendly, very accommodating. She made a special side salad for my wife that mimicked a full size salad. She answered unending questions from my kids. At desert time she made a special sundae for my daughter and her friend to share. The food was really good - just as I remembered. My kids had never been to a Damon's. They all closed before they were born. However, each said this was some of the best food they could remember. It was a fun trip down memory lane. CJ, the atmosphere, and the food made it a good night. The Browns lost their preseason game while we were there. But that is to be expected

I hadn't been to this establishment for about 2 years...now I remember why. I generally try to find something positive to say regardless of how bad it is, but I am struggling with this one. Oh wait...nope, nothing. Damon's is the place for ribs, but I have never tried the ribs because nothing else seems very good. I don't want to spend a ton of money on something that I don't like. So, the food... My wife ordered the Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. The meatloaf is not at all a loaf, but a big ball. The center was cold and only little slightly more appetizing than canned dog food. She tried to get me to try the mashed potatoes, but I refused. They were clearly a boxed mix. Come on, they have baked potatoes, so you know they can mash some. The green beans were the only thing that she even could stomach. She took a lot home, probably to rot in the refrigerator. I had the grilled pork tenderloin basted in barbecue sauce with baked beans and coleslaw. The coleslaw was not horrible, but not restaurant quality. KFC blows it away. The baked beans had decent flavor, but were extremely mushy. The pork tenderloin was a joke. In hindsight, I should have taken a picture. It was almost laughable. If not for the barbecue sauce, I am pretty sure that you could have seen through them. They were charred on one side to the point that I had a pile of black after I was finished. I also went with a sweet tea. It was not good. Very not sweet. Service was spotty and I will never go back.
I come here for lunch when I am working in Wilmington. I usually get their club sandwich, they also have a decent burger. Friendly staff and a frequent lunch card program doesn't hurt. Today's lunch will be a free one for me.

I remember Damon's used to be one of the better places in Wilmington. Not sure what happened, but it really had gone down hill the last time I visited. I had a turkey burger that came with a pineapple salsa, and it was REALLY bad: bland and soggy! I don't think we will be heading back.

I know this is unbelievable but this chain has the most largest flatscreens I have ever seen in a sports bar. The staff is small town friendly if a bit chatty, but hey, they'll take group photos without charging an extra fee. If you want to stay a long time and eat copious quantities of food this is the place...I didn't drink so can't comment on the wine, beer or drink list or prices.

Service was OK. Food was OK. Nothing too special, but I did really enjoy my Potato Skins! The portions are huge, so don't expect to need that appetizer and your main course.

Exactly what you would expect from a sports bar/restaurant. Good food, lots of TV.

Great place, they've got it all for menu selections, full bar service, great atmosphere, tasty ribs, multiple screens and sound you select & control at your table, a fun competitive trivia game buzztime.com , enthusiastic staff, easy access, plenty of free parking.

Upon entering we smelled pee.. We should have left at that point. While the staff was very friendly and the service was great... The food was sub par. My fiancé got steak kabobs .. They were chewy and slimy to the point of not being able to swallow. It was as if the meat was frozen and left to thaw and cooked again. At those prices steak should be fresh and melt in your mouth.
