Had a business dinner meeting there today and had the ribs. They were cooked perfectly very tender and served with a tasty bbq sauce. I also had the mashed potatoes They were kind of dry. I should've went with a baked potato. The green beans were good the service was great. I will come back again.

It's a nice little restaurant especially given the limited options of the area. Hubby's ribeye steak was juicy and flavorful, though it was cooked closer to medium than his request of medium rare. $18 seems a little pricey to me for the ribeye though; I'd expect to pay maybe $14 at this restaurant and area, considering the small sides, too. Country gravy and mashed potatoes were good, and my angus burger was cooked nicely, meaning, dare I say, juicy? Side salad with ranch was good and ranch was particularly good (we like a good buttermilk ranch dressing). Atmosphere was nice, fun and steakhouse/wilderness/kitschy, and our service was really good! We do enjoy going here when we come to visit with our family. :)

They changed their menu last night (2/27/15). Service was sub par both at the table and the bar. Food is really now pub food and rather expensive for the quality. Just about the only non fast (not in the least!) Food place to eat in the area. Hot rolls are good, that's it.

My husband and I stopped here on a Sunday afternoon on our way through the area. We were pleased with the food, and our server was excellent. We both ordered sirloin, per our server's suggestion. Both of our steaks were cooked perfectly medium as we had requested, and were very tender and juicy. I had the loaded baked sweet potato, and it was delicious. The western theme of the restaurant was kind of fun, including the peanut pails that were on the tables. The only thing negative that I noticed was that it could have been a little cleaner, but it wasn't so bad that I didn't want to eat there. If we're in that part of the state again, we would go back.

This was our second visit to this location and there's nothing positive to say about the service either time. Food was way better the second the time but we can't give a positive for the service either time. Our steaks were cooked to order and we did like the smaller size portion of the sides. They could definitely use some work in the customer service area.

Went here on a Saturday evening; party of 4. As mentioned in another review, overall a good option considering what's available in the area (not much). Atmosphere is country/western. Service was fine, food was OK. Fresh-baked rolls are great.

Was a little Leary with the ratings but glad I stopped. Vegetables were awesome, and the sirloin tips were perfect. The salad was good but the house ranch, I could drink it. It was so good.

The service was great and the other people at the bar were nice, but the steak, fries, and vegetables were barely mediocre. The sirloin was thin, cooked through (definitely not "medium") and lacked flavor on its own. Maybe I should have tried the filet. I'll come back just because of the atmosphere, but I'll most likely try the wings, a sandwich, or a burger.
