This is the little hidden Italian joint off the beaten path that your going to want to try! One of the best Italian resturants I've ever been to in the US. The baked lasagna and chicken marsala are my favorites. One of the sides to chicken marasala is spaghetti and it's a meal within itself. The spaghetti sauce is out of the world awesome, family recipe that definitely will NOT disappoint. When you walk in the entrance you may get nervous as the decor is way outdated (stuck in the 80's) but hang in there because the food is spot on excellent. All the meals are piping hot fresh out of the kitchen. If your in the mood for Italian I would definitely recommend!

Have yet to have a bad experience. Service is great and food is delicious. Great plate presentation and all is hand made. Decor is a little out dated but an old world feel. Baked cod is amazing.

OK, lets first address a few of the previous reviews. 1.) The only thing made from scratch is the SAUCE!. That is it. I have a very lengthy conversation with my server. I picked her brain very slowly about everything we were served. I would not have delved so deep but I ordered an $18 plate of Calamari marinara ...soooo naturally I wanted to know what I was paying for. 1.) The bread is from The Orlando Baking Company...It might be "Baked" in house meaning it come either par baked or frozen. But it is not HOUSE made. 2.) The noodles are 100% not house made, they are not eve frozen... Boxed...again I made sure to ASK. 3.) No fresh grated parmesan or romano...again, I ASKED. They have shakers of the stuff on the table like PIZZA HUT....BOO 4.) I was initially offered the special of the day which was Lobster Ravioli, anyone who has watched kitchen nightmares, knows that EVERY time Gordon Ramsey goes into an Italian restaurant, they have this on SPECIAL... this time it was for $22.95 ....I was Intrigued....So I asked is it made from scratch in HOUSE. I was told...no it comes frozen...( I can buy a bag of it at giant eagle for like $8).... NOPE. Gordon always get the lobster ravioli... and always busts their ball about being frozen... I ain't got time for that. 5.) So I ordered the Calamari. What I expected was golden deep fried calamari with house made fettuccine. What I got was not that. So I began inquiring, about noodles...sauce, and finally the fish... I asked if the calamari was fresh or frozen... my sever responded. Neither! I said what you you mean neither? It is Canned! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That is right folks CANNED Calamari, with boxed pasta, and kraft parmesan for $18 _____________________________________________________________ I also inquired about the eggplant parm and mozzarella sticks... all baked, they do not OWN a deep fryer... which kind of explains the calamari.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So on to brass tacks.... Was the meal "Good" yes, it was... will I eat there again, probably...its the only Italian joint in town Is it overpriced for almost nothing being fresh... HECK YEAH. Can I do as good or better at home... FOR SURE Can the average home cook... NO WAY. _____________________________________________________ Pro: I didn't have to cook, tasted good, night out with the wife, very nice and honest server, OK atmosphere, $4 Disaronno on the rocks, decent bread, and salad Cons: Overpriced, wanted REAL from scratch Italian food and didn't get it. OK atmosphere, CANNED CALAMARI, canned cheese ________________________________________________________ Suggestions to the owners: Watch kitchen nightmares: Make EVERYTHING in house from scratch. The decor looks like its from the 80's which Is kind of cool... but I just watched St. Elmo's fire....and sheesh it didn't age well... FRESH PARM or ROMANO PLEASE.... __________________________________________ All things aside, I REALLY enjoyed a night out with my wife.. and will probably be back... just wish it was elevated-

I was thre for dinner as recommended Jessica who works at the Holiday Inn Express. One of the best Italian restaurants. Quiet atmosphere. Everyone seemed to know everyone else. The waitress / bartender Shelly was a friendly and courteous person. Overall very satisfied and recommend.

This is hands down a credit to how all restaurants should have their food. The only reason this is NOT five stars plus is the decor and the tables. The booths are uncomfortable and I will ask for a table next time. The decor is right out of the 70s. Dark. Bad lighting. But enough.. I will gladly suffer this for the amazing food. Do you like fresh baked bread? Do you like noodles that are handmade? Do you like everything fresh and just bursting with flavor.. then please please go here. Started with a stuffed shrimp appetizer and was ready to fight for that last bite. Loved it. I would not have gotten the bruschetta if I had known how good the sesame bread loaf they serve is. My meal was the Eggplant Parmesan. Delicous and fresh. The sauce was.. exactly what I have had the few precious times I've had a true Italian cooking. My boyfriend devoured his Lasagna. He managed to say how good it was between moments. I wish I would of had room for Tiramisu. Next time! --------- Dear Lake Erie... I don't know what magic Columbus has.. but decent Japanese Food.. please. Just please. Don't make me drive 2 1/2 hours for Sushi Ting! (But I will!)

Everything here is NOT fresh and handmade. Everything I ordered, from the soup (which tasted like Campbell's) to the eggplant Parmesan, was prepackaged. My husband had the Chicken Alfredo. It was fair but nothing to get excited about. I love Italian food, but was very disappointed by this place. Definitely will not be going back.
