The food was decent but the service there is terrible. I've gone three times now and the fastest I got my food was 30 minutes. The longest was an hour.. I like their pizza though.

Okay food, crap service! We stopped in on a Monday night for dinner. There were about three tables and a couple of people at the bar. We didn't see a waitress at all for the first five minutes. When she did finally come out of the back, she ignored us for another five minutes and excused herself in the middle of saying hello to go get something for another table. Drinks came out quickly but it was a while before she came to take our dinner order. She seemed to run back to the POS computer after every table. We ordered an appetizer and dinner and waited half an hour for it to arrive. The app came out 2 minutes before our entrees. We had the Lucky Dip, which I must say was pretty good. Serving it with Fritos was an odd choice though, as Fritos aren't so good for dipping. We both had sandwiches and fries and both were cold as if they'd been sitting for a while. The waitress apologized when we finally managed to flag her down to ask for some napkins and silverware. She said they'd had lots of complaints about the kitchen, but she never came to check on us either. Wife and I both had empty glasses for the last half of our meal. We paid up and left. I'd like to think Trotters was just having an off night but as long as this took, I'm not sure I'll be back to check.

Pretty good food, pretty terrible service. We went up on Sunday night for trivia. The place started to fill up a little bit, but not overly crowded at all. The service was laughably bad. It seemed like 20 minutes between visits from the server, we had empty glasses all night, we asked for drinks a couple of times and she seemed to forget to put them in. We tried to order a sandwich, they were out of turkey; tried to order a pizza, they were out of the 9", only had the 12"; tried to order a burger, they were out. Only thing that makes this a 2 star is that the food was actually pretty good (once we found something they actually had and it finally made it out to the table). Plenty of other choices in Toledo, I know I'll be making a different one next time.

Went there for sandwiches and fries. Fries were good. Served without salt, the way fries should always be served. Sandwich was ok but a little greasy. Service was ok but be warned: THIS IS A BEER DRINKING TAVERN. We sat next to the loudest, most obnoxious group of 6 women I have ever encountered. It was a Friday and I'm sure they were celebrating something. We ended up moving to the outside seating area for our sanity. Food was ok but next time Ill use a 40% off Groupon. Was told by the waitress that this place is NOT connected to the Bowling Green Trotter in anyway. Too bad. The Bowling Green Trotter is a great place.

We went as a group of 7 before a show at the Stranahan. Our ticket pouch said to present for a free appetizer and asked before ordering to make sure. We waited until all were there to order our food and it was ok at best. A few wanted a glass of Sauvignon and the waitress did not know what it was. One ordered a fish sandwich and when it came there was no tartar sauce which we had to ask for again. One ordered a sandwich un toasted and it came toasted. I ordered chicken chunks with pepper sauce and they came to the table plain. When we needed drinks, several had to go to the bar as our waitress did not come back very often at all. When I cashed out I asked about the appetizer coupon and now they said we needed the ticket stubs (which we had) but they now refused to honor. Needless to say we left very unhappy and feel the the service was way below what we expect when we go to a resturant. WON'T be back!!!

I should have listened to the other reviewers said! A group of us went to Trotters for dinner before seeing Spank at the Stranahan and this experience almost ruined our night. I actually was excited to try the Havana/Cuban sandwich which many suggested but after waiting 30 minutes, our waitress informed me that they were all out of the pork for the sandwich!! All out of product at the beginning of dinner service on a Saturday?!?!We waited an hour and a half to get out food, our appetizers were never received, of the table of six only 2 orders were not sent back to the kitchen!! One lady had bugs in her salad!!!! LIVE BUGS!!! I could go on and on about how lousy the food and service was but what really made me mad was the fact that there seemed to be no management at all!!! When an entire table sends back their food one would assume that a manager would check on the situation. The final thing that I will say about this place is that this seems to be the normal habits of service! Everyone around us was complaining about how long they had been waiting for food. EVERYONE!!! Another group of ladies (who were seeing the same show as us) left without eating because they were tired of waiting! PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!!!

CLOSED - Brown Jug steak is a nice surprise. Drinks are Avg, I believe it is under new owners but business model unchanged, service can be good or bad, have patience if they are super busy or go to another place.

Then another couple came in sat at a table across the restaurant. The waitress was fast to wait on them. We proceeded to leave. Very disappointed in the restaurant we both have never been too. I hope an owner/manager reads this. March 10, 4 pm. The staff is terrible- dirty mop bucket not being used sitting middle of the place for at least an hour, the beer was skunked(becks), waitress was only eating chatting with 2 guys the hole time and the place was nearly empty. My girlfriend had a question about the beer and was told "just look at the menu"then the beer she picked from the menu was no longer sold. Was NEVER asked what we wanted to order. This is a good looking bar, clearly someone cares about it but sadly it wasn't the staff.

Solid food....especially with homemade french fries, not many places do that anymore. Burgers and pizza is really good. On Thursday there is a live band (mjm) a portion of "nine lives" its a lot of fun. Add good beer and a friendly atmosphere and its worth the stop. I dare ya to try.

A PLEASENT SUPRISE!!! I drive past this place all the time and never ate there until a few days ago. I've been here several times late night with some friends because it's such a great bar. The atmosphere is awesome and the peolpe are too. After hearing that their food was incredible my fiance and I went there for dinner. I had the Havana Cuban sandwich and she got the Blondie(which was on a pretzel bun, it was phenominal!!) both pack with flavor in every bite. The make their own fresh cut fries everyday which are amazing as well, kinda remind me of Cedar Point fries. I alreday can't wait to go back and try something else. I think this is my new favorite place to eat. You won't be dissapointed.

This was an nice alternative to the chain restaurants along the Turnpike and easy to get to from the highway. The staff was super welcoming and friendly. Food was good and quick. We particularly liked the beer-battered onion rings.
