Was in the mood for sushi so decided to stop by and see what all the hype was about. So glad I did! The restaurant itself is a bit small. So be prepared that you might not find a seat when you come in. You walk right up to the register to order then take a seat. Menu is nice and clear. Makes it easy for ordering. The place was very clean, the gentleman there made sure everything was spotless, including the bathrooms! Is nice that you get to see the prep work for the sushi right behind the register too! Price: great! You get a decent amount for your money. Food: I personally enjoyed it. The miso was hot and fresh. The bibimbap was fresh and flavorful. Boulevard bowl was also good. Smaller than the bibimbap but tasty. Just enough spice on the chicken with fresh white rice. California rolls were tasty and can't beat the price. Even my three year old loved them! I would definitely come back again. Can't wait to try everything else on the menu.

Tried this place out about a week ago, great sushi! Everything was really fresh and I felt like the rolls were good sized for the price! I was the first person to order masago since the place opened... Come on Toledo! Live a little! Eat some fish eggs!
(4)Saad A.
5 stars for awesome menu choice, amazing customer service, & most importantly with this town being primarily college students their prices are very good for the amount of food given!
(5)Jemila C.
Love this place! I probably eat here at least every 2 weeks. Place is always clean. People are always friendly and the food is consistently delicious! (The prices aren't too bad either). Plus they are conscious of the college students tight pockets and don't accept tips despite their definite tip worthiness.

Based on the location and reviews, I thought I would give this place a try. Very small, very casual and seemingly caters to the University of Toledo students. I ordered the Ochard and Holy Toledo rolls at $10.95 each. I thought it was a bit pricey for the "fast food" atmosphere (you order at the register) but was hopeful the quality and size of the rolls would exceed my expectations. I am sorry Rice Blvd, but you over-promised and under-delivered! I guess I have been spoiled by Nagoya located in Levis Commons, Perrysburg. The rolls brought to my table were not much larger than a silver dollar and after spending $23, I left hungry. Until I find a really good sushi bar in Toledo that is in the same category as Nagoya, I guess I will make the drive to Perrysburg when I have a craving for quality sushi at a fair price...

I had my doubts about ever finding good sushi in the Midwest. While Rice Blvd isn't great, it is certainly acceptable. My wife and I ordered miso soup and three rolls, a basic tuna and two specials, the Holy Toledo and the Ruby. The Ruby was good including spicy crab that was the right spicy and tuna that was fresh. The Holy Toledo included shrimp tempura, avocado, spicy tuna and some kind of sauce on top. It was not particularly flavorful, but it wasn't bad. The basic tuna roll was super basic, looking like convenience store sushi, though tasting better. The miso soup may best summarize the food. It was fine. It had all the right ingredients. Nothing in it tasted bad. But it just did not sing. Japanese food is one of my favorites and this was not an exciting meal. It got the job done. The menu is a little small with no sashimi and only rolls available. The prices are very average for sushi with basic rolls running around $4-6 and special ones around $10. The service was friendly and helpful and the decor had a bright clean feeling. There is nothing bad about Rice Blvd and a few things are good, but nothing was great.

Very clean, friendly, straight forward Asian food joint geared towards students. Dishes are reasonably priced. Dol sot bibimbop is good. Easily accessible with parking lot in the rear. Convenient, fast, and cheap. Thumbs up.

I probably shouldn't write a good review because that means you'll go there too and once again I'll have a hard time getting a seat. :) Seriously, it's really a great place. I do wish it was bigger. It seems to always be busy. Even at 7 we (family of 3) could not get a table, BUT it wasn't long of a wait and it was truly worth it. My son got a fried salmon roll that was fantastic. My husband got a bento box of goodies that he loved. I had bibimbap which, if you see my other reviews, is clearly an addiction of mine. I even make it at home authentic style so I am a bit of a bibimbap snob. This meal did not disappoint. I will definitely be ordering this again. I really wanted some bon chon side dishes but this place is run more like a Japanese sushi joint even though, like most sushi joints in Toledo, it is run by Koreans. This American ahjumma was ok with that because all of the food is really yummy. Best of all, I get to report that the prices are very reasonable and the ingredients are fresh. I've been here twice now and the workers are always very kind and helpful. I look forward to going back. There was one single downside to this experience and it is not the restaurant's fault. Both times that I went there, I sat next to very loud people. Two young women were right across from each other at a small table next to us yelling about classes as if they were half a football field apart. I wanted to scream: INSIDE VOICES PLEASE. I really want to defend America when other countries call us loud but what can I say, they are right. People are NOT as aware or polite about this as they should be. Next time I go, and I will of course go back, I will do my best to go at a less busy time and sit away from inconsiderate loud mouths.
(5)Michael S.
Very good sushi. Order at a counter and it is brought out to you. Fast and fresh. Prices are not cheapest but you really shouldn't eat cheap sushi. Spicy tuna is spot on and they have this tempura spicy roll that's great, big! Also plate options as well. Good spot for sushi.

This is the type of place you walk in and you know the food is good. The freshness of the smells as well as the decor, makes for a refreshing experience. I came here with some friends curious to know what this place was about. Even though the place is small, the food was totally worth the space. I ended up getting the spicy chicken bento box me tell you everything was perfect. I really enjoyed the freshness of the ginger salad and the light spice of the chicken. The little California rolls were tasty. The only thing that bothered me was the melancholy music that they played which I guess was suppose to make you feel relaxed but to me it only made me feel weird. But in any case go here and eat!

This place is a little gem. The restaurant is actually pretty small and plain but the service and food make it outstanding. You order and pay for your food at the counter. Your food is brought out to your table when it is ready. We ordered shrimp tempura udon, panko chicken curry, jalapeno salmon sushi and dynamite sushi. When I say we, it was just my boyfriend and I and we wanted to try a lot but realized we had ordered way too much food. You get a huge amount of food for a very fair price. Our food was excellent! I am a huge sushi fan and it was some of the best I've had. The people there are very friendly and it's just a great place overall. Would highly recommend.
(4)Katie W.
Great place for sushi and/or Korean food if you just want a casual place to eat. Rolls are reasonably priced, and if you're not in the mood for sushi, I definitely recommend the Stone Bowl Bibimbap. Super tasty, and it's brought out in a sizzling bowl. Bento box is nice too if you want a little bit of everything. Food comes out relatively fast too. Definitely worth trying.
(5)Jason S.
I pray for summer and winter breaks to come, just so I can get great sushi at a reasonable price without the ridiculous wait. Being on the campus is great for the business, but is terrible for those of use above the age of 22. Everything is fantastic, fresh and friendly. Just wait until the college crowd returns to their parents' houses before going, unless you don't mind the 30-45 minute wait.
(5)Ryan B.
Started with a delicious bowl of miso soup for under $2. Miso isn't much to brag about, but this had a deep, rich flavor, was served hot and avoided the trap some find of just being tasty luke warm water. Before our meals came, the server brought us out a bowl of edamame, which we did not order, and apologized in advance for the wait. They just had a large carryout order called in. The advance gesture was rare, thoughtful, and more than kind. I ordered a rainbow roll and an Alaskan roll. While I wasn't wildly impressed with either, they were both good, especially for the price. Some of the fish wasn't as fresh as I'd expected, it was mushy and tasteless, the salmon in particular. The tuna, however was firm and fantastic. My expectations may have been a bit hyped, but I found myself with very little to say about the sushi. However, bonus points for having low sodium soy sauce right on the table. The highlight if our meal was my girlfriends order, the bento box with spicy chicken. For $10, it's a ton of food, plenty to take home. The spicy chicken was easily the best thing we tried. It had a nice mixture of spicy, but not too spicy, a touch of sweetness, and a bold rich flavor that I suspect was a mixture of hoisin sauce and sriracha? I'm not sure, but it was a perfectly balanced flavor mixed over sliced fresh chicken and sautéed onions, served with a side of rice. The bento box also came with a tasty dumpling and a few other interesting appetizer samplers, all pretty delicious, with a side of ginger salad, and a California roll. It was very good and a great deal for the price. The service was friendly and welcoming, but there were a few minor mishaps, including overlooking our request for no avocado in the box meal due to my girlfriend's allergy. They brought the meal out with avocado, we sent it back, no problem, it came back fast and they remade the California roll that had the avocado. No big deal, except when she finished eating she realized they put the new roll on the old roll leftovers, which meant avocado smeared on the tray and on the remade roll. A little higher sensitivity toward allergy requests would be appreciated. Last, we ordered the Japanese Fried Chicken appetizer based on a number of yelp reviews. It came out after our meal due to a mix up at the register, not a big deal to me. It was ok, bite sized sliced fried dark meat chicken in a light batter served with a side of sweet & sour sauce. It had a peculiar flavor that wasn't really good or bad. I wasn't impressed and likely wouldn't order it again. Rice Blvd is affordable, the atmosphere is clean and simple, the service is friendly, and the food was pretty good, though it didn't meet my expectations based on recommendations. I'll definitely be going back and giving it another shot, maybe it was just a rough night. Next time I might spend more time looking at the meals rather than the sushi, though. Or, at least ask for a recommendation from the chef. Regardless, affordable healthy food is always welcome in Toledo, where it's rarer than the fish atop those rolls I ate tonight. Well worth a try and a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Great place, sushi was fresh staff is also excellent make sure you try the jumbo roll, the seaweed was very fresh on it
(5)Annie C.
We love this place! Service is fast and friendly. The restaurant is clean and the sushi is delicious. I usually get the miso soup also, and my daughter loves shrimp tempura udon soup, which comes as a very generous portion. The chicken teriyaki bowl is also a hit with the kids.
(5)Faith C.
Rice Blvd is a decent take out sushi place. If you live near campus, it's a nice location for take out sushi. Usually when I want sushi, we have to go pretty far to get take out so it's nice to finally have a place that's nearby. On top of sushi, they have rice dishes (makes sense) plus other appetizers etc. There are 4 main signature dishes you can choose from: blvd plate, bento box, and 2 bibimbap bowls. You then choose your type of meat, rice and sauce. The prices seem reasonable ($7.95 for bibimbap). We tried the Hwae Dup Bop (Korean Chirashi), the Spicy Tuna and California Roll and the Bento Box with Bulgogi. The Bento box is a good deal because you get a salad, 4 pieces of a california roll, a dumpling, and chicken wing all for $8.95. The bulgogi wasn't the best that I've ever had, but it was ok. As for the Hwae Dup Bop, it was pretty good for a take out place. The sushi obviously isn't going to be the same as a sit down fancy sushi restaurant, but it's good enough that I will definitely visit there again.
(4)Belinda L.
Not only is this the freshest food served in Toledo, but the friendliest staff. I LOVE the new large ginger salad....but the Troy roll is to die for!
(5)Wesley S.
Absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is clean and simple. The rolls are of quality and the price is great. Best place in town to get sushi. Although you can't get the fancy fish (uni-sea urchin and such) sushi chef and owner,Jun, uses the basics to create amazing and palatable sushi rolls. If you don't want rolls.. Ask for nigiri or sashimi! Friendly and great service. Everyone working is very attentive. This place gets my two thumbs up :)
(5)Mike J.
The first time I walked in and saw it was a counter like you would see at a fast food restaurant, I thought 'Oh Christ, do I want uncooked fish from here?' Trust it. This is excellent sushi, and not just for Toledo. And it's incredibly cheap! I truthfully could eat here five times a week and never get sick of it. If you go when UT is in session, you likely will wait and you might not have a seat (it's a small restaurant), but the food is well worth any headache and the staff is so incredibly friendly. I'm around this area for work frequently, and I'm proud of myself if I can get through a week without spending money here.
(5)Chirjiv A.
I like the Bento Box here. The quantity is a little large for 1 time.
(3)Qi K.
excellent service, decent food and low price, what else can you ask for? I love bibimbap and spicy fish bowl. Their sushi is also really good.
(5)Nicholas D.
At first, not really what I expected. Right on a college campus, kind of small, somewhat deli-like decor. Once I sat down to eat, I understood why the reviews were so high. The sushi was perfect. I have eaten sushi all over the country, and this restaurant is among the best sushi I have ever eaten. Their fare is a pretty standard menu, but with a twist. They even managed several versions of the California roll. For the first time, I HAD to take a take out order with me. I was astonished at the quality and service I received, and the price was excellent.
(5)Naro K.
The best ever. I was on a road trip and I visited so many Japanese/Korean restaurants in many cities. This place was the best. Cheap, fresh, clean, good service and delicious food. Stone Bowl Bibimbap for $9.5? I got to pay $16 with taxes and tips in NYC!!
(5)Josh B.
Rice Blvd is one of our favorite places to grab a quick bite. The staff is very professional and friendly. Their food is always fresh and served quickly. The value is also great! I usually get the spicy California roll, and my wife has fallen in love with their stone bowls. They don't have as much variety as some of the more poshy sushi bars that I've been to, but then again you're paying half the price. I also suspect that their California rolls are made with "K"rab. These are minor notations on an otherwise fantastic restaurant. Highly recommended!
(4)Alex B.
Great place for good prices sushi excellent food for the price I think, got 4 rolls for 13.00$ which have 8 pieces each.... Great price in my opinion. Come check it out!
(4)Michelle D.
This place is excellent for what it delivers as a meal. There's a uniqueness about this place in the way you walk up and place your order, pay, and don't tip. Sometimes when I'm out to eat, I want to have a nice meal, but I also don't want to have to sit around and wait for a check when I'm done. To be able to do that at a sushi restaurant is really great. The prices also are really reasonable. You get can a bento box just under ten dollars. I've never been anywhere else where it is less than sixteen, so when I saw that on the menu I was really pleased. Speaking of bento boxes, this is the first time I've ever been at a Japanese sushi restaurant and the meat has been deliciously flavored and actually MOIST. I'm a big fan of sushi, but now and then I want to get one of those fun compartmentalized boxes and the teriyaki chicken and also the panko chicken have every time been perfectly cooked. The service is very fast too. It's a smaller restaurant, but with the size they sure know how to roll out the sushi without the wait. The sushi itself is very simple and uncomplicated. When you walk up, you'll actually have pictures on the wall showing you each one with the price and ingredients, making it easy to decide. I recommend though, checking their website so you can be familiar with their choices. I haven't had the stone bowl bi bim bap but whenever I venture into the restaurant, someone is always having it brought to their table in a sizzling earthen bowl. Next time, I always tell myself, once I tear myself away from the sushi. While we're at it, nicest work staff around. They WILL remember your name, and they are always pleasant and asking how your meal is, not in a robotic way, but to imply they actually do care about your satisfaction. Lastly, really clean restaurant, and the style is so nice and bright and relaxed. I always enjoy what they have playing on the radio, it totally compliments my visit. I would recommend this place if you're looking to have sushi on a budget, to be able to socialize with some friends, and if you want a good clean meal with some fresh sushi.
(5)Trevor W.
The staff is polite and the food is great! Made fresh and fast. The beef bim bim bop is awesome! I've been here many times and it's always a good experience. Beef bento box to-go is always a great lunch at work. They have the best tempura rolls in Toledo, I highly recommend this place.
(5)rebecca b.
I thought this place was pretty great. I was surprised that it was set up as "fast food", initially worried me. I didn't care for the menu being posted up on the wall, I felt rushed to decide. But, the food was great and inexpensive for sushi. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was decent and laid back. I will definitely go back soon. You should try it too!
(4)Ninah D.
It's a simple little place and the sushi is great! I ordered a "lion king," not in their menu. It's avocado and crab inside, cooked salmon outside. Very nice girl on the phone said they would try their best, it came out great! They should add it to the menu! Very very tasty. The only negative is they don't take Amex but, the sushi is worth charging my personal instead of the company card.
(5)Artime M.
Great clean little spot for a quick sushi.
(5)Jimmy M.
Absolutely the best sushi I've had in a number of cities I've visited. If you're from Toledo and you think Sakura or Kyoto Ka is good, then you haven't had Rice Blvd. yet. Rice Blvd. is better than both in taste and value. All sushi rolls and entrees are priced very reasonably and the owner and his staff are both incredibly friendly. Also, since they're right by a college campus, they understand students' financial plights, and graciously do not accept tips. The atmosphere is exactly what you would want out of a sushi place. It's always sparkly clean and organized. I've tried just about every sushi roll on the menu at this point, and in over 30 visits, I have never once left disappointed. Everything is always super fresh every day. I'm now on a first name basis with the owner, Jun (sp?), and some of his staff, and have noticed that they call other regulars by name too. It doesn't get more personal and comfortable than that. Jun told me he gets fresh fish on a daily basis. This is exactly what you want from a sushi joint. If sushi isn't fresh, it isn't good, but it's always fresh and amazing here at Rice Blvd. I make it a habit to stop at least twice a week. I've tried other sushi in town and none can stack up to Rice Blvd. My favorite is the Orchard Roll (California topped with eel and avocado). Their stone bowls are amazing as well. You can order nigiri if you ask, although it is not on the menu. If you like sushi, make it a point to go here. (FYI: Parking can be a little tricky, as you have to park behind the Gateway building and walk through the middle to the front. To avoid tickets from the UT Parking Nazis, make sure you park in green lined spaces only. They're pretty well marked.)
(5)Hannah L.
I am so grateful that this resturant is on UT's campus. Their bento boxes are amazing and amazingly priced. I love the option of brown rice without an additional fee and the cafeteria-like arrangement of the resturant. The staff are incredibly kind and service is always fast. That said, be prepared to wait for a table during fall and spring term.
(5)Chelsea M.
This place is a delightful gem! I was road tripping from Chicago to Pennsylvania and desperately needed a protein pick-me-up. "Sushi in Toledo?" I thought. But yes. Sushi in Toledo. Delicious sushi. Great prices, wonderful ingredients and fresh fish. The staff was very helpful and the environment is crisp, clean, and contemporary. My one complaint is that I wish there was a paper menu for those of us who take a little longer deciding. I felt bad sitting in front of the register for as long as I did, but to be fair, everything looked hella good. I liked this place so much that I came back on my trip home! The girl who was working even gave me music recommendations. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be back for sure!
(4)Nicholas M.
I was never big on the thought of sushi but my friend offered to treat me so I joined. It was hard figuring out what I could eat seeing that I am allergic to shellfish and that scared me a bit. I settled with the Philadelphia roll and man was it good with the soy sause dip! I suggest giving yhis place a try if your looking to explore sushi at a decent price!
(4)Ryland O.
Great sushi for an affordable price. Had the Spicy Attack and the California Tempura. Both very good! Have already recommended to a few friends.
(5)Neal F.
Good sushi in Toledo has been hard to come by since DOMO closed. Fret no more. Rice Blvd is bringing that good good back to town. Koto Buki is good for nigiri, but other than that Toledo doesn't have much to offer. Rice Blvd is making some very fresh, inexpensive and inventive rolls. The decor is simple and elegant. White walls with white tables and minimal clutter. The music is a bit odd but it's ok. They seem to be constantly playing soundtracks from films like forest gump. The service is quite good. They have a few very friendly front of house staff that will provide you with whatever you need. Order at the front counter and take a seat. They will bring you your food when it is ready. You should be relatively familiar with the sushi chef. He used to work at Koto Buki and Kyoto Ka. Apparently he didn't like what those restaurants were doing so he broke off to open his own restaurant. ***The Food*** I rarely order rolls at japanese restaurants but rice blvd does such a nice job that now it's all I order when I go there. Everything is well assembled. The avocado is fresh and creamy. The eel is cooked with care. Everything is on point. The Japanese Fried Chicken is a must order for your appetizer. The chef also makes me a ponzu/yuzu sauce that I sub for soy sauce. It's great. My dad got a bento box that looked amazing and he was very pleased. This place isn't just the best sushi restaurant in town it might be one of the best restaurants in town. Simple, cheap and delicious. Definitely deserves a vist.

We, like many reviewers of Rice Blvd, are refugees from DOMO, and finally decided to give this little place a try. The interior is clean, sleek, and modern. I'm not much of a sushi guy, so the bulk of this review is from my partner's perspective. They could probably serve me Meow Mix wrapped in rice* and I would douse it in soy sauce and wasabi and enjoy it. Rice Blvd. offers over 30 different rolls in addition to Bento boxes and rice bowls. We started with the JFC (Japanese Fried Chicken). Neither one of us much cared for it. My dining companion thought the tiny pieces of fried chicken tasted like Chicl-Fil-A. We both liked the dipping sauce but we were puzzled as to why so many people seemed to mention the JFC in their reviews. Maybe it was an off day for it? Maybe just us? Who knows. We're in the minority here, clearly, so don't let us stop you. Now, on to the rolls: we ordered the Philadelphia, Eel Avocado, and the Spicy Crunchy Crab. The Philly and the Eel are my partner's "go to" rolls and we were here primarily to satisfy his sushi craving. While he said the rolls were a little on the small side, he said that the eel was the best he has had in Toledo and elsewhere. We both enjoyed all three rolls. I got picked the Crunchy Crab and it was great -- served nice and warm. We barely finished all of the sushi. Two drinks, three rolls, and an appetizer for $29.00 is more than reasonable. On top of that, the staff refuses tips. There is a sign for it. I asked about it but got no further than a simple "those are the rules." It's a shame, because the staff is really warm and friendly. *Not an actual roll offered here.

The University of Toledo community is fortunate to have easy access to this fantastic and reasonably priced restaurant. Located on the Southwest corner of Main Campus, I love walking here on my lunch break for a quick bite to eat, or for a lingering working lunch. When I visit, I tend to play it safe with hot tea, a sushi roll or two, and an appetizer (Miso Soup or Edamame), but my colleagues will often rock out with a Bento Box or the steaming hot Stone Bowl BiBimBap. Dining solo or with others, no one is disappointed. The food is always fast, fresh, and mouth-watering good. And gluten-free soy sauce is available for those who request it. The interior is very clean, streamlined, and modern (think IKEA meets KotoBuki), with an emphasis on "fast casual" dining. You can tell that the owner and other staff genuinely take pride in their work: food is always served with a smile, and although it took a hot minute to get used to, the wait staff do not accept tips. I think I know what I'm doing for lunch tomorrow.
(5)Heather E.
I love this place! The food is always excellent and reasonably priced. The more basic rolls come with eight pieces versus six pieces like most places. They don't charge you for spicy mayo or eel sauce. My favorite rolls are Alaskan, Californian, spicy tuna and the troy roll. The stone bowls are so amazing. I always have a hard time deciding what to get here just because it's all so good. The owner (June) is extremely friendly and always professional. I love his food, but I also love that I get to support a local business while eating tasty food.
(5)Jillian F.
For the price, the sushi is pretty good. We ordered carry out, but the seating in the restaurant is small. We got 3 rolls for under $20. The rolls were fresh and delicious. The Tempura California roll was good but the breading was thicker than most places that I've had. I don't think I would order a tempura roll again.
(4)Niket A.
Close to the university. ..awesome food...good place to sit back and eat sushis...friendly staff...clean...
(5)I S.
Croquette croquette croquette! I personally am a bit of a picky eater so I don't usually eat Asian food. However I brought my brother here and was surprised to find a menu item I'm obsessed with: croquettes aka fried mashed potatoes. I usually avoid fried foods but these were perfectly done, not too greasy and very delicious. Customer service was great and the restaurant is very clean with a relaxed calming atmosphere definitely worth checking out
(5)Deb L.
Rice Blvd is becoming somewhat of a staple for me. The food is great, especially considering the price. It's better than many Japanese restaurants in the area at a much lower price point. Ordering at the counter is simple, and service is friendly (they also do not accept tips). The bento portions are generous! The spicy chicken was tasty (I think it was dressed with bibimbap sauce - yum!), and I loved the side items, especially the croquette. It was a great way to try a little bit of everything that Sushi Blvd has to offer, and I'd recommend a bento to anyone going here for the first time. The few sushi rolls I've tried have all been well executed with fresh ingredients. There is a surprising number of rolls on the menu, but I've only tried a few of the simple ones (california and yellowtail) and they hit the spot. The udon has a simple, mild broth. The texture of the noodles was excellent - soft and not too chewy. There was a hard-boiled egg in the bowl along with some green onions, a little fried tofu, and a stick of krab meat. Very simple, but it did the trick. The yolk seemed to melt into the broth, which was nice. The bibimbap here is as good as any I've had in Toledo. Great sauce with a nice amount of heat, good blend of vegetables, and they get a good char on the rice in the stone bowl. Although the menu as Sushi Blvd was much more varied, the atmosphere and food quality reminded me of some of the counter-style restaurants and cafeterias I ate at in Japan. With tasty, simple, and affordable sushi and entrees, Sushi Blvd fills a gap in Toledo's Japanese restaurants and I hope they're here to stay.
(4)Daniel D.
Best everything in town. Staff is awesome. Get my food done supper fast. 10 minutes or less. Know me by name because I go there four to five times a week. Udon soup is awesome. Spicy chicken bowl is awesome. Salmon roll is awesome. Vegetable dumplings are awesome.
(5)Frank M.
Great place, great food, excellent service. We got the Japanese Fried Chicken appetizer which gives chik fil a , a run for their money. We also got Beef BiBimBap Stone bowl which was excellent also, everything was fresh and they give you a hot sauce to mix in it. My wife got the chicken teriyaki bowl and said it was also good, the little potato croquet that came with it was nice. Will try the sushi next time we go but I hear good things. Small place so limited seating and no tips allowed!
(5)Taylor K.
Great value! It's so nice to have a great place to get sushi at a reasonable price just off of campus, I got more than I could eat and it didn't burn a hole in my pocket, it was fast and fresh and delightful. I'll definitely be back soon!

Food: Is really well priced and very delicious. The Sushi is super kick but as well as the rice bowls. Staff: Everyone I've talked to here is really cool and your treated like a friend the first time you walk in. Atmosphere: The place is super cool and just seems like a chill place. There is peaceful music playing in the background which is conducive for conversation. I'd say this would be a nice place to take a girl on a first date Conclusion: I've been to a lot of fast casual restaurants and this is deff one of my favorites everything here is alright and if you want good and fairly priced sushi this is deff your place.

Very impressed for this nearly on-campus restaurant. 11 tables that seat 34 guests is intimate to hectic depending on the take out traffic. Bistro feel, very casual. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. I ordered the BiBimap, beef; I loved this dish - fresh, light and so so tasty. Spicy chicken BLVD Bowl was tasty. The spicy California Roll I am sorry to say was just ok. It reminded me of the sushi from Kroger (which I really enjoy most times) at half the price of Kroger. The restaurant is very clean - the sushi area is very clean. The restrooms were very comfortable and CLEAN. I'm definitely putting this Rice Blvd on my short list for lunch - can't wait to take the kids! Nice job Rice BLVD.

The thing I like most about this restaurant is that they sell good sushi and at a decent price. I would say that on average the sushi rolls are a couple of dollars cheaper than you would find in most other sushi restaurants. I've also enjoyed their bento box and mochi ice cream. On top of that the staff were really friendly and always there if we needed anything. I see myself going back many times in the future.

I followed a tip I heard to try this place after hearing that June, previously of Yoko and Kotobuki had opened his own place. The concept of this type of Japanese restaurant is new for the Toledo area. It is very casual. The aesthetics are simple and modern, but pleasing. It is brightly lit, but does not have a fast food feel, especially since there is always classical music playing. The food is absolutely wonderful. It is high quality carefully prepared. We had a ruby roll, bi bim bop and chirashe the first time and were pleased. We have gone back several times since and have great experiences every time. Everything was equal or better than any I have ever had in or out of town. Way to go, this place is great!

Really great place! Such friendly service and attention to detail. I got takeout sushi here and it was very good... (As good as Toledo gets). It's a little awkward on the UT campus so you can relive those college years but really a great place to check out. Clean, good food, affordable and great service! I'll be back, for sure

I will never ever be going here again. It gave my boyfriend and I severe food poisoning. If you don't want to feel absolutely awful, skip this place.

Really Good Japanese food, I Stopped in Here for Lunch One day and had a Bento Box. Well Priced and Delicious too, Its hard to find Well Priced Japanese around campus, Particularly if your just looking for some lunch. although i did not try any real sushi other than the California Roll in the Bento Box, those were Great. The Meal was huge as well, Between the Whole panko fired chicken breast, the California roll, the tempura, and the Side Salad, Rice Blvd Sure does Make your money go far. This place is great for lunch and I Highly recommend it.
