First of all, the menus are in tablet form. I wasn't a fan. I like seeing everything at once, having to swipe from page to page was annoying and the tablet shut off by accident and I couldn't figure out how to turn it back on - it was no iPad. They were in these bulky leather cases too, I don't think I'd go back just because of the menu situation. The food was good. I got the chicken and waffles - not bad. But nothing blew me away. We also got the buffalo calamari, I thought it was a nice change of pace to every other standard calamari, but again nothing amazing.

Just discovered this place last night since my favorite spot in Toledo was closed. Very impressed! Relaxed, casual atmosphere and top notch food. Service was excellent, too. We will definitely add this restaurant as one of our destinations.

We were excited to try this new spot due to all of the reviews. The service was spot on (which is why they got another star). The food was very disappointing, my salmon was tiny and overlooked. My boyfriends burger was incredibly rare/bland and he ordered it medium-well. I don't think we will be coming back anytime soon for the food. Maybe for a drink?? Again, the service was awesome.

Great vegi choices in western Toledo. Really nice interior and a good place to come regularly or for company.

One of our absolute favorite spots in Toledo! Have yet to have anything less than awesome. Our daughter orders the Chicken and Waffles every time and they are SO good!

It is so refreshing to have a place like this in toledo. It's edgy, and they're serious about their culinary skills and it shows. We were seated within 5 minutes of arriving we had a reservation for 7, and they were cleaning the table. When we first sat down I loved the table it was in the back room a table for two and it was quiet and I didn't feel like I was sitting with strangers. My boyfriend quickly pointed out the huge dining table next to us and no sooner did he say so but a party of about 8 were seated and they were basically on top of us. The waiter could barely get to us and it felt a bit uncomfortable, plus there must be a storage room right behind the wall our table was against because the door kept slamming and making our table shake! The food though is great, diffrent and fresh. The waiter Chad was so informative on everything on the menu, he knew every ingredient and made picking an entree easy. I had the chicken schnitzel with a butter sauce topped with prosciutto and asparagus. It was so good, it was quite bigger than I had expected and very rich so I couldn't finish the whole thing, but I enjoyed every bite I took! My boyfriend had the revolution burger and the homemade chips. I don't know what they put on the chips but holy delicious were they good. Kind of a spicy, sweet seasoning and the flavor kept going after I took a bite, yum. I do have to mention the music before I end this review, almost every song I own on my ipod in my chill Playlist. Jack Johnson, Joshua Radin, Matt Costa...and many more. It was so relaxing to listen to, I was very impressed!

We had an amazing dinner...drinks were pricey however were really good. We got their speciality items that never change when the menu does. The chicken and waffles were fantastic however pretty sure bacon gravy sells itself. I had the chicken dish and that too was just plain yummy. And then we had to try a dessert... Some chocolate raspberry thingy. Ha. Go there. We will be back however between 4:30 and 6:30 however and sit at the bar for half price drinks... They infuse their our vodka.

I have been here several times. Attentive service and above average cuisine have been the norm. My last visit was plagued with problems. First, they were out of soup. Second the person I was dining with had metal in her salad which she bit into and punctured her cheek. Finally fish tacos were served with the fish on the plate served separately and I'm assuming that it was up to me to slice and implant the fish into the tacos. Also, I made a reservation on Open Table and still had to wait 45 minutes for a table. What's the point of using automated reservation system? Every place has a bad night. I will revisit and post another review.

GO OUT OF THE BOX.. And try something different. This is a great place for it. Actually ate Brussel sprouts as an appetizer! Delicious!! Grilled peach salad...delightful! Chicken sausage with feta cheese in pot belly ravioli with red pepper sauce....amazing! Service was great! Haley was our server. She was very kind explaining the menu to newbies. Desserts were not too appetizing to me so I didn't try them. I think this is the downfall. A great restaurant all in all.

A recent birthday provided an excuse to try out Revolution Grille, as they offer a generous birthday discount. After receiving our bread (which had almost a croissant like taste to it -- very nice), we ordered the Revolution lollipops, a satisfying balance of savory (chorizo, feta) and sweet (blueberry gastrique, maple cream). We also ordered the crispy brussels sprouts, which was more like a salad than an appetizer. The maple balsamic reduction added what I can only describe a distinctive asian zing to the whole affair. For our entrees we chose chicken and waffles well as the chicken schnitzel. The appetizers were so wonderful they colored our expectations for the main event, and this establishment did not disappoint. The chicken and waffles consists of three perfectly fried pieces of chicken atop thick waffles with maple syrup and a bacon dressing. The chicken schnitzel features prosciutto and asparagus and one of the best lemon beurre blanc sauces I have had in quite some time. Somewhat wary of the runny fried egg but feeling up for the adventure, it all made perfect sense with my first bite. One thing we were taken aback by are the huge portions. The prices are so reasonable that we were expecting light meals, which is why we ordered two appetizers. No need; and despite the larger than expected portions, every ingredient on the plate had a purpose, the ratios were spot on, and we're already talking about our next visit. It reminded me of one of my favorite restaurants in Columbus called Level. The service (Donald) was spot on: attentive, friendly, professional, but left us to our own devices.

We went here for the first time on a Thursday night, the restaurant wasn't busy, the server was very attentive. I got the buffalo calamari with filet medallion , the calamari wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be. The filet was tender and the sauce was very good, I was looking forward to trying the Creme brûlée, that's picture on here but they change their menu so no dessert for us. It was a nice experience.

Well, for starters, I REALLY wish they'd clean those disgusting food-smeared iPads between sittings and stop unleashing the server-disciples upon tables of hungry people who do not care to hear chef's entire philosophy on cooking and just want to order. THAT SAID.... I have had a couple good food experiences here --- the schnitzel was decent!!! However, it was the company at my table that kept me most happy when I dined at Revolution.

Revolution Grille is such a fresh alternative to mediocre restaurants in Toledo. This restaurant has cool menus displayed on ipads and each dish comes with a recommendation of drinks/calories/pictures. If only we can order directly from the ipad then this would be the coolest restaurant on earth... I've been here twice this month and can't wait to go back again soon. Most dishes here are flavorful and the customer service is superb here. The free fresh baked cheesy bread is delicious and this is coming from someone who doesn't like pizza! The first time here I ordered the mahi mahi tuna, brussel sprouts, mussels, and pork belly and rice. The mahi mahi tuna was the only dish that I didn't care for. It lacks flavor and the fish was overcooked. The pork belly dish was the best...reminiscent of what my mom would cook back in Taiwan. Second time I came with the bf and we ordered the brussel sprouts, mussels, aruguela salad, and goat cheese curd. The cheese curd came with a bbq sauce that tasted like some cheap BBQ sauce you get from mcdonald's..definitely not up to Old Fashioned standard in Madison. The first time I thought the mussels were only ok; but I was too critical because nothing can be as good as mussels from Monks in Philly right? This time the mussels was definitely full of flavor and they are always fresh. I can't wait to go back to Revolution Grille for special occasions. The only downside is this place is quite expensive for someone on a student budget. I always end up spending at least $30 here pp.

On vacation with my dad, a picky 63 year old of limited palette range, and went to Revolution based on good Yelp reviews. Long story short, we both felt this place was outstanding. Location is a bit odd, in a strip mall in the land of chain restaurants, but that's about the only negative thing I have to say. I had the Korean short rib with vinegar rice cake and we split a chorizo flatbread appetizer. It was all beyond outstanding and the service was great. Apparently a kitchen equipment malfunction caused our order to come out a little slowly (We didn't care in the least) and the manager on duty came over to apologize twice even though it wasn't necessary. If you want to shovel cheap garbage into your mouth Toledo has plenty of options. If you want to eat something really outstanding, this is the place to go.

Viva la revolution!!!!! This is a real hidden gem!!!! Located in a strip center near Hobby Lobby, this is one awesome dinning experience. It has really nice decor and a nice bar. We were served by Donald, extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and wine. Our chocolate martinis were very tasty, and the meat and cheese antipasti plate was so good, in addition the house bread is wonderful!! We tried the wagu flank steak and filet medallions. I do not hesitate to say these were two of the most delicious meals I have ever had, the wagu flank steak was tender and served over white beans with bone marrow vinaigrette, I thought I had died and gone to foodie heaven!!! The filet medallions were wonderful and served over carrots and rosted fingerling potatoes! Again fantastic!!! So Toledo try something new and take your significant other out for a real dinning experience and give Revolution Grill a try I promise you will love it. Try the chocolate dessert it rocks!

My family and I were driving through and my dad let me pick the restaurant off yelp, after reading reviews I picked this one. I honestly want to live in Toledo after eating here just so I can be near this restaurant! I would have gone in and hugged the cook if I hadn't thought that would make him/her uncomfortable. This was the most delicious restaurant I have Eaten at in months. the service was incredible, and each and every dish was a combination of unique flavors that blended together perfectly! Also our server don was dreamy which was a plus. I feel bad for all the surrounding restaurants because I have no idea how they stay in business, with this amazingly unique restaurant that has attractive waitstaff. - Naomi Saegusa

Came here for a Birthday. What a great deal. We got a huge discount and a free dessert. Started out with appetizers: Calamari and Grilled Brussel Sprouts, Absolutely the best Calamari in years. Brussel sprouts were flavorful. This is a place I could stop in for a few appetizers and a drink. I had the Walleye special that was great. We also had the Chicken Schnitzel. My wife didn't care for it but I thought it was great. This is my best Toledo dining experience in quite a while. 4.5 stars for me. I'll post again with updates and maybe update that rating.

I've been to Revolution on a handful of occasions and have enjoyed each one thoroughly. The ambiance is pleasant without coming off as "trying too hard". I've had the: Grilled brussel sprouts (9/10) Goat cheese curds (7.5/10) Grilled Walleye tacos (10/10) Korean BBQ ribs (7.5/10) Filet Mignon medallions (8/10) Chicken and Waffles (9/10) Caviar Creme Brullee (8/10) Also, their house bread which is delicious. The food is of adequate portion size; nothing I would consider generous, but certainly not skimpy either. Pricing is rock solid for the quality of food being served. I appreciate the variance in menu items, it really makes you want to visit a little more frequently. It's a little gimmicky, but it works. I also appreciate that they update their website to keep pace with the menu updates. I've been seated and served fairly quickly on each occasion. I'd like to offer a little constructive criticism, but there isn't much room for improvement provided they keep doing exactly what they've been doing.

This restaurant has so much going for it. A chef making creative/hearty/delicious food, a bar that has great craft beer and craft cocktails, an interior that provides great atmosphere with an open kitchen that showcases the chef & cooks appropriately. Always a great choice to go to Revolution. The menu changes but my favorite was the brussels sprout appetizer and the BoSsam. The only thing I have had on the new menu is the chicken and waffles and it was awesome. Watch the Smash Toledo video on Revolution grille here: youtu.be/5kc0NZ6HJ2U

Visited here for our second time tonight and it definitely was another positive experience. I know I need to start taking and uploading photographs of the dishes and I will start that on my next review....First off let me say this restaurant has one of the best atmosphere's and ambiance of any in Toledo. It is very trendy, progressive and well put together with just the right amount of lighting....For an appetizer the table ordered Thai Chicken Flatbread. The dish had a tasty Peanut sauce and chicken that was extremely tender, add all this together and it was good enough to be an entree. For dinner I split the cheeseburger with sweet potato chips with my other half. The burger was served cooked at the temperature requested which made it moist, juicy and very flavorful. The chips were also very delectable and hard to stop eating....Our waitress was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. I am definitely a fan, they just get it right!

Came here to celebrate my wife and I's 2-year anniversary. The atmosphere felt classy and relaxed, and our menus were on iPads which was just plain cool. My wife was able to find a wine that she liked, and there was no shortage of tasty-looking beers. Oh yeah, the iPad menu lets you look at a picture of the item you're interested in, again, just plain cool. The food itself was wonderful, but the highlight for me was the coconut cream pie for dessert. Best coconut cream pie I've had. We will be back!

Awesome awesome awesome food! can get a bit cramped, but thats only because they are so popular for a reason! One of the last times my wife and i were there, one of the chefs went out of his way to make an alternate version of a menu dish for her because she was a vegetarian. He probably did it cuz she is hot, but who can blame him? ha ha- still was very nice for him to go out of his way for her. Especially being as busy as they were that night. Our server was awesome too , but cant remember her name...LOL. sorry , i'll remember next time.

I have to change my review unfortunately. We used to go to Revolution multiple times a month and in the last 4 or so the service has been less than expected and the food not always the top notch quality I expect either from Revolution. I am hoping this is just a bump in the road for one of my favorite restaurants.

Kind of a "hip" restaurant. The menu changes often enough to lure you back. Portion size is average but the offerings are unique. Services has been great every time I've been there.

This restaurant is in a strip mall and the food is uninspired. I don't get the rave reviews. Maybe it's great in comparison to the bob Evans. We went before a show and really should have grabbed something before leaving Ann Arbor.

We enjoyed our second visit to Revolution Grille last night. It was as wonderful as the first. The "Revolution" is the creative way that food is prepared and the level of training of the staff. Rarely do servers have the level of wine knowledge at the Grille. Our server, Becky, was a joy and added to the pleasure of the evening. I asked her about two Malbec wines on the wine list from the same region I did not know. She felt while both were very good, she recommended one because it was more of a "true" Malbec and explained why. We went with her recommendation and she was spot on. My wife LOVED the salmon - very flaky as well as very tasty. I had the NY strip steak. It's rare to find bourdelais ® sauce these days - it takes a long time to prepare. It was served with my steak and very well done. The steak itself was perfect. We have to drive 45" to go to the Grille. We'll be doing it again.

In all honesty, I've given this place several visits, and I will never be back. There are too many issues that have never been resolved. The atmosphere is trendy and upscale, The tables are cramped, and it's not a place for an intimate dinner. The noise level is extremely high - probably due to all the hard surfaces, and when the bar is going full-tilt, it's not just loud - it's annoying. The service is generally attentive and above average. I love the iPad menus, although they are a little intimidating for those who are computer-challended. I find them fun and a step up from the mundane printed ones that are dog-eared and ready for the trash. It also allows for frequent changes/additions, and that's a plus. The salad was nice, but the dressing was an abomination. Whoever concocted the house dressing should give it up. Trust me - ask for something other than that. The biggest complaint is the menu and the prices. There is no question the only bargain on the menu is the much-touted chicken a la holstein. It's well-prepared and a fairly generous portion. At $15, it's a good value. That can't be said for the rest of the menu. On one visit, the chef's special was a soft shell crab (singular, that's not a grammatical error) - one crab. It was pricy and not all that good. Bummer. Most of the portions are, at best, skimpy and not at all worth the price. The same really applied to the appetizers and the salads. The prices are excessive and not worth it. I'm a huge fan of Main Street Ventures' restaurants, but this one falls way short of the mark.

This place was VERY surprising! From the outside it looks like a strip mall, but as soon as you walk in, it's got a great layout and trendy romantic ambiance. The drinks were lovely (I was happy with my seasonal beer), and the dishes even better. Your menu is on a digital tablet, which was incredibly helpful. I really appreciate getting to see what your food looks like before you order it. I'd love for the interface to be a bit more sophisticated, but it was the first time I'd experienced that situation. The fried goat cheese curd appetizer was so fun and full of fresh flavor. The berry crumble dessert was warm and fruity. Fun place!

SERVICE: Our waitress knew the menu perfectly, she was fast, accurate and friendly. I know that some guys are impressed when a girl "talks sports." Personally, unless she's predicting the winner of a Georges St-Pierre vs Anderson Silva superfight, I couldn't care less. BUT, when a girl talks beer? YEAH BAY-BEE, YEAH!! And our waitress knew beer! IPA vs Double vs Imperial, IBUs, etc, etc. Very impressive. FOOD: Watermellon gazpacho (5/5) Crispy Fried Brussels Sprouts (4.5/5) Beet salad with goat cheese (4.5/5) Chicken Schnitzel a la Holstein (5/5). AWESOME lemon beurre blanc! Salmon and Risotto (4.5/5) Resin Double IPA (4.5/5) Evidence that NO place is perfect... Mojito (2.5/5). (Still looking for a good "Toledo Mojito." I know it's out there.) As always, we're looking forward to the next trip back.

This place is truly a treasure in Toledo. It's not like your typical restaurant and is a fresh alternative to the "Mancy's" of the world for a nice dinner. Don't get me wrong, I do love Mancy's but Revolution Grille was delicious. The server was very knowledgeable and did a great job at describing cocktails made in house and what his recommendations were for appetizers and dinners. We got the Brussels Sprouts and they were as amazing as everyone says they are. The other nice thing is the menu is on a tablet and you can actually pull up pictures of some of the meals which I liked a lot. I enjoyed the ambiance and they did a great job of making it more than just a strip mall restaurant. I will definitely go back again. GET THE BRUSSELS SPROUTS! Even my husband who isn't wild about them, loved them!

Very nice atmosphere in this place. They had a fairly limited menu for vegetarians. My friend and I tried the fried green tomato appetizer. It was fantastic. However, our waitress was giving us dirty looks to the point that we did not continue to order after the appetizer.

Dining experience was excellent. Cory, our server, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Felt like he wanted to be there and wanted to make us to feel welcome. 5 stars for the service. Food was good/above average but a bit over priced. Cocktails were excellent and many to choose from. Ambience was fantastic.

Coming to Toledo from Chicago has been quite the culture shock. Luckily, my boyfriend and I discovered this gem! The menu is seasonal and changing with the ingredients available. They do have some staples I've seen on the menu after repeated visits. Everything I've eaten at Revolution is yummy, thoughtfully prepared, and beautiful to look at. I hope that after a few more months they can expand and offer a full bar with tap beer. I like the microbrews the offer by the bottle and their wine selection is great, but there is something to be said about a nice draught beer. Just my two cents. I'll be coming back there in a few weeks for something yummy to try!

Revolution Grille is awesome. It has become a go to spot for special occasion dining. The chorizo flatbread and buffalo calamari are both delicious appetizers. I know everyone goes crazy for the brussel sprouts, but I prefer these two. As far as the entrees, I've tried bites of my dining companion's meals, but I can't deviate from the chicken and waffles. It is such a delicious compilation of flavors and textures. The chicken is crisp and has just the right amount of spice, while the gravy and syrup make the dish savory and sweet. A great selection of craft beers are available. The sangria is refreshing. Cocktails are pricy, I would probably stick to just one. Do yourself a favor and check out Revolution Grille. You can make reservations online through Open Table.

Chicken and Waffles! So good. Came in and really liked the decor. Very nice ambience. Our waiter was awesome! Definitely took care of us quickly and gave us some great tips on what to order since we were new here. Give this place a shot! It's worth it.

In every city I travel to, I try to find that one gem that I can return to on my next visit. This is the place! Ambiance, service, and the digital menu set the tone for the evening. Heather was first class and made it clear that if there was anything on the menu that needed modifying, she would work with the chef to make it happen. The Soup of the Day was like no cream of mushroom I've every had. The texture had a "southern grits" feel to it, the scallions gave it crunch, and the mushrooms just burst with flavor. For the entree I had the Crispy Pork Shank. I'm from Germany and this was a pork shank. Fell off the bone, had flavor, and the au jus just added to the flavor. The braised sweet potatoes were divine. The meal was complimented by a 2012 Starling Riesling. 'Nuff said...!

I was very pleased with Revolution Grille! I was skeptical at first because I've been too other spots in Toledo that offer expensive "fancy" food but was sadly disappointed. When first walking in you notice it's dimly lit which is perfect for date night. It has a nice cozy feel to it. The place was clean and decorated nicely. Cleanliness is one of the first things I look for/notice when I walk in to a restaurant for the first time. We sat at the "kitchen bar" where you can see the chefs prepare the food. We were warmly greeted and given a complementary basket of bread (tasted like roasted onion asiago bread to me) but we did care, it was good. The tablet menus were cool. I'm starting to notice the trend. We started with the watermelon feta flatbread. It was delicious! Sweet from the watermelon and tomatoes but tangy from the feta. I ordered the filet medallions. The Harissa sauce was spicy but the perfect amount of spicy and the frites were nice and crispy. The Lady ordered the Korean short rib which she said was outstanding. We both ended the evening with white chocolate creme brûlée. It was heavenly. Nice burnt sugar on top and was still cool on the center. Everything was amazing! 10s across the board. I just hope they keep it up. Business' in this town tend to start strong and get lazy after they get continued business. Will return for sure! Try it. You won't regret it!

Revolution Grile is certainly a change of pace from many of the restaurants in Toledo. The service was incredible, the atmosphere inviting, and the food delicious. To start, I had their soup of the day, which was a pulled-pork tortilla soup. It was doused with fresh cilantro and savory Mexican spices. I had spent a month in Mexico growing up, and this soup tasted exactly like the soup you'd get in a restaurant south of the border. My wife had a Duck Con Fit Waldorf salad, which was great, but was over-dressed and thus a little heavy. My main course was the Revolution club, which featured fried turkey, thick-cut bacon, and a spicy avocado mayo. The portions were generous, but the food was upper-crust; hardly a combination you find in any restaurant. For dessert, my wife and I split their coconut cream pie. One word: divine. Thick, creamy, and fresh, this was certainly the best coconut cream pie I'd ever eaten in my life. I will most certainly make a trip back to Revolution Grille in the future.

A most welcome addition to a town that badly needs updated, high level cooking. Fun bar, cool space that adds a modern flair to an old building. Great appetizers (the naan pizza and crispy brussels sprouts are a must) and very good entrees and desserts. Service was excellent and server was very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

I was SHOCKED when I walked through the door of RG. Pictures online of the interior does not do it's justice. It has a nice warm feel to it and the atmosphere is great! Ordered the calamari for an app and boy were they generous! The lady and I couldn't even finish it before our meals arrived. I had to order the chicken schnitzel because of the high remarks and I'm glad I did. The combination of the egg and chicken was wonderful. However, I tried a bite of the chicken and waffles and my taste buds were not pleased with the bacon gravy. If they offered regular gravy as a substitute (they might?) then it would have been perfect! Overall, a great place to dine and very inexpensive for the quality of food!

A restaurant you'd expect to see in a bigger city (with bigger prices). The food was delicious to say the least. The starter bread was addictive. We started with the pork spring rolls which were succulent. I was in a burger mood so I got the "Burger" which is an understatement of a description when it has gruyere and bacon jam. My boyfriend got the BBQ short ribs, again simple name that doesn't do the complex flavors justice. The waitress was attentive and helpful with the menu. The tablet menu was very helpful as well, it provided pictures and drink pairings for each meal. Overall a 5 star experience. We will be back when in Toledo.

4 stars on the Toledo-Bowling Green adjusted rating scale. Actually that might not be far as the food was by and large really excellent by any standard. The calamari was great, the chopped salad with salmon also. The speciality cocktail made with ale, vodka and st germaine + tabasco was magnificent (can't recall the name). However, the Ribeye steak, while stunning to look at and cooked and presented perfectly, was gross. Stringy, tough for a ribeye, as much fat as beef, and not very tasty. Really quite bad actually. Of course they can't control every piece of meat that goes out of the kitchen, and I get the sense had we complained about it they'd have quickly and cheerfully tried again. But we weren't so hungry and so just let it slide. I will give them another try.

There are already many thoughtful, great reviews of Revolution Grille - a place that may just be the best restaurant in Toledo, Ohio. So, I'll keep it short by saying that, if you live in or find yourself in town, you need to dine here for fantastic food and great service.

Another dinner at Revolution. Service was not as good as last time as we waited for our entree course. Salmon was a bit over but still tasty. The filets were a little tough.

I went to the Revolution Grille quite a while back and it was an excellent experience. The food, THE FOOD!! it's amazing you can't say enough good things about it. I had a salmon dish with peas and rice. It was amazing!! Our waiter was a little off. I was new to the RG and didn't really understand the Ipad menu scheme but eventually the waiter was hip to our backwardness. We also didn't get any of the bread people always rave about but it was a great experience and not what you expect to find in a strip mall! It's very modern in terms of decor and provides a good amount of privacy we went on a weekend for lunch. So there wasn't a huge crowd. I hope to go back soon and have better service. It's a bit pricy but well worth if for the quality of the food and the ambiance.

Bottom line: This establishment makes me consider moving back to Toledo. Great service, great atmosphere, great food. TIP: By a stroke of luck, we arrived during happy hour (About 6pm). Happy Hour = 50% off flatbreads and small bites on the menu! Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Knew the menu, specials, and offered recommendations when asked. The menus are nifty as well. They use tablets where guests can click on the menu item to see a photo of the dish. GREAT tool for visual people like myself. Ordered the lamb meatballs and pulled pork sliders (see photos). My friends ordered the walleye tacos, Liz's favorite sandwich, and margharita flatbread. The walleye was cooked perfectly and comes on the side so you can fill your own tacos. The flatbread was average but I highly recommend everything else. Most impressive was Chef Rob. We requested a dish that was no longer on the menu because I had seen it on another social media site. Though they no longer served it, chef offered to make something similar as long as they had the ingredients. As luck would have it, they did! He brought the dish out to us himself. He truly cares about his food and satisfying his customers. This kind of service is rare to encounter and will win over loyal customers like myself.

Made it back again and sat at the bar with four others in our group. We all tried a bunch of different appetizers since it was half-off happy hour. The Captain Crunch goat cheese curds were really good, rich. I also loved the lamb meatballs. I could eat those in a sandwich like a glamorous hobo. All five of us left satisfied. I wish I could remember the girls name that was behind the bar making drinks, offering great advice and just being cute and helpful all around. She made our night there that much more pleasurable. Revolution Grille remains one of my top 5 in the city.

Food quality is GREAT! Fish tacos are the way to go; just the right amount for an appetizer while getting drinks. Atmosphere is good but good luck finding a table. Try reservations if you can because dropping in on a whim may not be conducive to getting a table. The bartenders are great and very attentive. Overall an excellent addition to Toledo.

Such a rare find for the Toledo Ohio. Best service in this area! The waiter knew what he was talking about and really understood service. The food selection was so unique, kinda made me order out of my comfort zone but I was not disappointed! The lamb kafta was amazing!

Revolution Grille is a breath of fresh air! I've been going since shortly after it opened and have never been less than thrilled with my meal. The atmosphere is cozy and hip, and the servers are friendly and knowledgable about the menu, plus they are equipped with great recommendations. But the biggest reason I keep going back is the amazing, inventive food. The menu changes often, so there's always something new to love. First, the staples: fried brussels sprouts are a must try. This dish will make you a believer. Next, the chicken schnitzel. It's a harmony of flavors - the crispy chicken, prosciutto, asparagus, and oh, that fried egg. Once the yolk drizzles into the mix, it's magical. Every dish is expertly prepared. You can be sure that any meat will be cooked to perfection, and that all parts of the dish are going to add up to an amazing whole. Some highlights have included the chicken and waffles, the calamari, and the coconut cream pie... I could go on. The cocktails are really fun and clever, too. Flowers in the Field (may have that name wrong) is definitely special. I love the sangria, which is only $5 per glass, whereas most cocktails are around $10. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. The small plates, desserts, entrees, salads, soups, and even the bread that comes with the meal, everything has a special, loving touch. The chef clearly has a passion for food and for serving people, and it shines through.

We went here looking for a bite to eat late on a Saturday night and were seated quickly with prompt, great service. I'm really excited to see more new chef-driven, independently owned restaurants open up in the Toledo area. Revolution Grille certainly does not disappoint. Everything is fresh and the flavors are strong without being overbearing. I had a salad with house dressing, as well as the salmon with risotto. The plate presentation is superb. Both were amazing, and I can't wait to go back and try more things. The atmosphere was great too. The menus are on tablets (mine kept crashing), and this just felt a little gimmicky. The food and service, however, far outweigh this slight negative and I really hope Toledoans support places like this. The only reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is primarily the location. It's in a strip mall on Monroe street next to Bier Stube. So, on a Saturday night there are a bunch of 20-something Toledo DB's hanging out in front of Bier Stube. I *really* wish a restaurant like this would open up in downtown to help revitalize the core of Toledo (in addition to Registry Bistro), instead of building more businesses in the suburbs!

Extremely trendy American bistro. Tablets replace standard paper menus with full array of pictures for your viewing pleasure. Chicken schnitzel & swordfish risotto were very good. Staff was attentive & cordial. The drink menu was impressive with many hipster style brews & cocktails concoctions. Will return again when in Toledo.

Honestly, I was a bit nervous coming in here as I've been told by several friends that when it's busy, the service stinks. I figured a Monday night would be a good day to check out the food without worrying about crowds. And boy oh boy am I glad I checked this place out. We're very familiar with the location, as it previously housed some of our favorite restaurants. The space is small, and the new owners did a GREAT job updating the interior. It's much bigger feeling then it actually is, and the decorations are ultra contemporary and inviting. Dark colors, woods and metals, all with a boutiquey vibe. The service was excellent. Our waitress Stephanie was a delight. Very friendly and informative. The young lady greeting us at the door was also pleasant. Revolution uses Androidâ„¢ tablets, which immediately feel a little gimmicky. I rolled my eyes as I was handed mine, but very quickly realized it was and is a great way to keep your menu up to date. Photos are included with all options, and each dish is digitally paired with a wine option. The tablets were easy to use and we quickly planned out our meals. My wife had a glass of wine, and I tried one of the pricey signature cocktails. I'll be the first to admit I ALWAYS have bigger eyes than a stomach, and often order a bit heavier than I probably should. Tonight was no exception. We ordered and LOVED the crispy brussel sprouts, and the Turkeyfoot Creek Goat Curds. Both appetizers were devine! Each one was each other's flavor equal. The brussel sprouts were lightly crispy, and deeply flavorful. The sauce was sweet in an expensive balsamic vinegar sort of way, and was covered in beautiful pieces of parm and pine nuts. The cheese curds (curds are absolutely one of my favorite foods, and you never see them in toledo) were perfect. Covered in bacon and a spicy sauce, these flash fried bites were YUMMY. After our rich apps, I had a super rich entree. As mentioned elsewhere, the "Chicken Schnitzel a la Holstein" is HIGHLY recommended if you're hungry. It's a huge portion of perfectly smashed and fried chicken breast, with asparagus, prosciutto, beautifully runny fried egg, red onion & lemon beurre blanc. DELICIOUS and RICH! My wife ordered the Goat Cheese Ravioli, which was delicious but a little under seasoned and served slightly under temp. We loved pretty much everything about this place, and look forward to another visit. Next time we're going to hit the salads, and try some lighter entrees.

Highly recommend checking this place out!! We didn't make reservation and there was a 2 hour wait, I would highly recommend reservations. We were able to sit and watch everything being made. It was a warm inviting atmosphere, had a great buzz, and best of all the food was amazing! The Chef is friendly and stopped by to see how the food was and was very friendly. I had the lamb chop special which were the best lamb chops I have had.

So, I went back again a few weeks ago, especially after reading great reviews. Service was extremely slow - it was a Monday night, and wasn't busy, but we waited 20 minutes for a server to approach the table. I ordered Perch Piccatta. It was covered in sauce and lukewarm, with a lemon aftertaste. I really want to like this place- they have a really neat concept and creative thinking as far as their menu and image goes - but I think I will wait until they have some things worked out.

My husband and I celebrated our ten year wedding anniversary with a special dinner at Revolution Grill and it was simply amazing! The service is attentive and the Chef's attention to detail is impeccable. The menus are actually electronic tablets that feature a wine pairing with each dish. We started out with the a Crab Balls and they were cooked perfectly. I thought they would be similar to crab cakes but they were so much more. A must order. My husband had the Potato-Horseradish Encrusted Salmon and I ordered the Greek Shrimp. Both dishes were full of robust flavor. Hands down this is one of the premier restaurants in Toledo. Can't wait to go back!

One Sunday night we stopped here for what will be the first on many times. The place is gorgeous, very well decorated. Great to take a girl you want to impress. Reservations suggested. The menus are electronic tablets, which the server had us using very easily even though neither of us had used one before. A great feature of this is that for every item on their menu, there is a picture of what it is! So far I've tried the Chicken Schnitzel, Lamb Meatballs and Grilled Walleye Tacos. All were excellent, especially the Lamb Meatballs! The prices are surprisingly reasonable. One thing I do have to complain about is that the fried oyster sliders were dropped from their menu before I had a chance to try them. A great high quality addition to the Toledo restaurant scene.

Thought we would try this place because it was new and had not heard much about it. With the name "Grille" I thought it might be more casual than for the business meeting we were having. I was surprised that it was more upscale than just a normal bar and grill. The menu was very interesting and I wanted to try everything. The Revolution Manhattan looked interesting but was a bit too Smokey. The walleye tacos and Brussels sprouts were awesome. The Beef medallions I got were very good as well. I cannot wait to go back. I also did not realize this was a Mainstreet ventures place. They do restaurants well!

We really wanted to like this place. We would love to give a glowing review like others here. Cannot though. Several visits and unfortunately, we won't be going back. The short ribs were tough. The asparagus with it was limp and over cooked. The filet medallions (two tiny pieces for the 20 dollar price) had over-seared hash marks on them that made it just taste burnt. The grilled asparagus had a burnt taste as well. The 10 dollar chopped salad was very over priced for the scattered greens and sliced radishes. I feel bad typing this. I want to say nice things about a local chef who is likely doing his best. This place may be a local Sylvania-ish gathering place (from what we could tell from all the inter-table schmoozing going on) but the food isn't up to the hype.

Going back for the third time in two weeks tonight. Have not had a bad dish yet. The chef is intense and focused and it shows. The coconut cream pie is probably the best ever. Meatballs are a hit, ravioli was stellar, schnitzel with egg was awesome, if it had some spaetzel it would be one of my favorite dishes anywhere. Drinks are creative and the staff is very friendly. Finally a restaurant that we want to go back to. Thanks Revolution.

We were traveling through Ohio and stuck in a desert of chain restaurants when we discovered this place. What a delightful surprise! It's a bit hard to find, being in a strip mall. The decor and atmosphere are fun (though I could do without the sports bar aspect, it isn't too intrusive) and the servers knowledgeable and friendly. We had the lamb meatballs appetizer, which was unexpected and really good. I had the chicken schnitzel, which was wonderful, my husband had the short ribs, which he said were terrific, and my son enjoyed his burger. (Plus, dry ice in the drinks!) The focus on local ingredients and the reasonable prices, combined with the food and service, make this place a real winner that I hope people will support locally. I know I'll stop there whenever I pass through.

My wife and I have eaten here several times and with each visit we fall more in love with the food, service, wine, and room. The Fried Brussel Sprouts are heaven. Every dish we've tried brings balance and artistry to the palate. Please take some time to visit this Chef-Owned gem. This is a restaurant where excellence meets inspiration on a nightly basis.

We loved this place. How cool is is to get a pitcher of sangria that is smoking from a clever dry ice insert? The food has an edge. Even the bread basket was a fun variation. Great place for a night out and if you like Brussels sprouts make sure you try their version.

  • Jennifer B.

We were disappointed by Revolution Grille. Becky was our waitress and she was very good.. The Brussels sprouts were outstanding and the mixed drinks (elderflower one and cider one) were excellent too. However, everything after that was just good to OK and the seasoning was off on most of it. The beet salad was nicely done, but have had the same thing a dozen other places with no elevation of concept or execution here. We also tried the daily soup and I honestly can't even remember what it was two days later. Our mains were the chicken schnitzel a la Holstein which was a dish with decent elements but no cohesion. There did seem to be a tiny bit of sauce which would have unified the elements, but given the size of the portion there was not enough of it to bring the dish together. The risotto with swordfish and pumpkin was rough. The swordfish was perfectly cooked and seasoned but the rice itself was overcooked to mush, mix that with the texture of the pumpkin and it was not pleasant. Desserts were not a strength either. A good example of this is that I ordered the coconut cream pie. There was so little coconut flavor that my husband (who hates anything coconut) ate it the next day and asked what kind of pie it was. That was my thought in the restaurant too. I refuse to rate restaurants on a location curve. Have had great meals all over the country and it is ridiculous to elevate this place just because it is in Toledo. Maybe the kitchen was having an off night, but we definitely did not enjoy a four or five star experience at Revolution Grille.

My new favorite restaurant in Toledo. Amazing food, amazing service! I have had chicken schnitzel, filet medallions, and Bacon Bourbon Chicken. All amazing!!! I love the iPad-like menu, which suggests wine pairings with each item, and lets me SEE the food before ordering. This establishment has managed to capture a casual atmosphere, AND unique, upscale cuisine. *An added bonus!! The first time I visited, it was by default, as the restaurant that we intended to eat at was closed on Sundays. I was a little nervous because we had a child with us, and I didn't expect this place to be super 'kid friendly' - my kid is EXTRA picky. To my surprise, my seven year old daughter was doted on by our great server. He made sure she was happy with everything. I could tell that HER happiness was just as important as the adults. As a result, my daughter has a new favorite restaurant that her parents love too.

I went here with my boyfriend for my birthday. They do have a bday special: half price on entree and free dessert. The service was great, our waitress was extremely knowledgeable about wines and was able to recommend a good one to my boyfriend. We started off with the grilled walleye tacos, which could have been a meal unto themselves. They were delicious which is saying a lot because I don't typically like walleye. Very light and fresh. For the main dish I had the salmon risotto and my boyfriend had the wild boar ragu. I LOVED my salmon. It was cooked perfectly and the risotto texture was just the way I like it. Plus, it had fiddlehead ferns cooked to perfection. My boyfried really liked his boar and ate all of it despite claiming that he wasn't that hungry. We finished it off with the sourdough cupcake. It was HUGE and tasted amazing. Can't wait to go back!

made a reservation for Friday dinner and was glad we did! It got so busy so fast. The house bread with the onions was ok. Not too memorable. We ordered the lamb flatbread and it was so good. The lamb was so flavorful. We ordered the ribeye and pork. The ribeye was delicious an cooked to perfection. The pork was too overseasoned for my taste. the waiter was attentive and mood was nice. We will return again once the menu changes.

Went here with family. Nice environment. Open kitchen. Wonderful (and plentiful) staff. I had the chicken schnitzel which was amazing. My daughter had the chicken skewers with harissa and chimichurri sauce. Chicken was succulent and perfectly cooked. Husband had Beef Medallions which was delish but a rather small portion compared to my schnitzel. If you are looking for a place to tease your palet, this is it. I will be back. I love the idea of a seasonal menu too. Menus are on electronic tablets so you can touch the item and actually see a picture of it and its ingredients. Gluten free options.

Food, service and decor is a fresh breath for Toledo. They focus on local ingredients and the menu changes frequently. The quality standards are extremely high and everything is prepared with care. My only suggestion, and this isn't just for Revolution, start adding real vegetarian options to the menu. And I'm not talking pasta. This is a real downside for those of us that prefer not to eat meat without being relegated to a salad or some fatty carbohydrate laden dish.

Cool tablet menu showing pictures of food. Nice atmosphere. Attentive and knowledgeable wait staff. Good meal. Enjoyable evening. Chicken schnitzel was excellent and my wife enjoyed her swordfish served with purple mashed potatoes and cauliflower. Loved the coconut cream pie we split for dessert, too. Highly recommended.

  • Laurie S.

My husband and I went there for our anniversary dinner. We split the Sangria which was delicious and it was so big that we couldn't even finish...believe me, we tried very hard. We then split the Walleye Fish Tacos which were amazing in flavor and the sauce was delicious. The only suggestion would be that they serve you a little more fish to fill 3 tacos or 1 less taco shell. We then ordered the schnitzel based on all of the reviews...we almost licked the plate. It was gourmet, meets cozy home cooking all on the plate. Absolutely spectacular. Finally dessert we shared 2 - the cupcake and the coconut creme pie...Both were amazing but that cupcake is beyond comparison - moist with perfect balances of sweet and a little salt! Can't wait to go back. Going there again this week and possibly twice next week!

A group of us dined there for the first time. Everything was absolutely delicious. We swapped plates around a bit, and I must say that the rib eye was my favorite thing of all the mouth watering meals (and appetizers) that we ordered. The MistyStix were such a fun surprise, and our waiter, Donald, was prompt, courteous, fun, and thorough. The value and portion sizes are excellent, and the ambiance is spectacular. The Android Tablet menus were really, really neat (although, a couple of them were missing a few items, but it was no big deal)! Overall - JUST WONDERFUL! Thank you for an enjoyable evening.

I love the tablets and the fact that they come with pictures!! Huge plus that u get to see the dish before you order it. I ordered the sangria with the dry ice, pretty cool and Brussels sprouts to start. The Brussels sprouts were to die for and I HATE BRUSSEL sprouts, but I had to order them after a friend recommending them. Then I ordered the fish tacos which were also very tasty especially with the wasabi. The only downside was that I wish they gave more fish with it. And for dessert. We ordered the chocolate cupcake with Nutella and bacon and the bread pudding. The cupcake was a little dry but the bread pudding was mouthwatering. I got to taste the coconut pie and that was also very tasty. The prices are a little high but there's no other food like it. Can't wait to go back and try more!!!

I was pleasantly surprised by Revolution Grille when I dined there with a few girlfriends last week. I had heard mixed reviews about this place from other friends, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was optimistic, however, since I've enjoyed the past restaurants in the same location as Revolution Grille. Besides the lovely ambiance, the iPad menus were the first thing that caught my attention. I thought this was a very innovative idea and though I know this is more common in bigger cities, I haven't seen any other restaurant in the area doing this. The specialty drinks were delicious; they had quite a variety and were made well. I ordered the Chicken Schnitzel a la Holstein and it was excellent. We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday and the waitress and staff were very friendly and accommodating, even bringing out a complimentary dessert. (Strawberry and blueberry shortcake--yum!) Overall, this was an excellent experience and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try something trendy and slightly more upscale in the Toledo/Sylvania area.

Had dinner Friday at Revolution Grille. Loved it! Creative menu, especially for the area, cool menu device with photos. I had the lamb leg with farro - the lamb was tasty but not fab & a little too chewy. But the farro - YUM! I've been thinking of that farro ever since! My friend had the chicken schnitzel and practically licked her plate. We both had the field greens salad and the herbed creme fraiche dressing was so just right & it was a good sized salad to satisfy my intense veggie craving. The bread basket arrived a little late & by that time I was in fear of getting too full, but the taste I had was also great. I was from out of town visiting a friend, but wish this interesting restaurant was local to me. Will definitely want to go back next time I'm in town.

Don't let the location fool you...this place is fantastic! A bit pricey but this is not McDonalds! You want great food, this is the place! You want great service, again, this is the place! You want rich looking interior, soft background music, and desert that will make you put that diet plan in the garbage! Yep, this place is for you! Take that rough day and send it packing when you come here! But in a strip mall??? A gold nugget ain't easy to find but I found this place.

This is the first time I've ever written a review. We had to meet my son halfway between Detroit and Columbus and I found Revolution Grill on yelp for a Father's Day dinner. We had one of the best meals of my life. Everything was delicious, a wonderful fusion of American food with a twist. The appetizers mean course, cocktails and desserts were all delicious and unique. I would drive to this restaurant even if I had no business in meeting area. The Revolution Grill has become my new favorite restaurant. The service, from the lovely Haley, was also extremely good.

The service was both professional and personable. Will was excellent at welcoming and helping with the menu. The food uniquely blending flavors that explode in your mouth. Recommend the kale and quinoa salad and the muscle flatbread. When it came to desserts we were told where the lemons came from. Wow. We will definately be back to much to choose from. Yum. Thanks Revolution for a wonderful evening.

Would I go back? Yes. If I lived in Toledo, I'm sure this restaurant would be blessed with my presence once more. The aroma was inviting, and the service was on fleek. The menus come on tablets which sets apart the restaurant from any other I've blessed with my presence. As a prominent food critic, I can say that the sliders here passed the test. Be wary if you are not a fan of food of the spicier variety. Otherwise, I recommend this restaurant to all Toledoites

  • Phil A.

Food was just okay, except for the coconut cream pie, which had the distinct flavor and aroma of suntan lotion. What was bad was that first of all, when we complained about it, the waiter did not remove it from the bill. Then, when I requested it be removed from the bill because we thought it was not satisfactory, we had to receive the third degree from the chef in order to have it removed. I do not think that is good business practice. If the customer doesn't like something, it should be removed from the bill, no questions asked. I do not think that we will be returning to this establishment. There are much better dining options in Toledo.

Came to Revolution Grille Saturday night with another couple. First noticed the nice decor and iPad menus you can view pictures and descriptions, which was a nice touch. Weirdly located in a strip mall. We ordered a bottle of wine to split, and a strawberry cocktail which was very good. They bring great fresh bread to the table to start. For apps we split the waitresses recommendations - the Calamari (with BBQ sauce and blue cheese crumbles) was quite good and different & the Brussels (taste burnt and were $10. You want good brussels, go to Balance down the street!) I personally ordered the Chicken Schnitzel, which was flavorful, but I was not a fan of it being fried. I feel it would have been better with a grilled chicken breast. The waitress raved about the pork shank? but then said she sold the last one, and that is what my BF wanted to order initially. The guys ordered steaks which were tiny...they were not impressed. The waitress was really nice, but we felt as if she were rushing us the entire time. There wasn't a wait and it was a bit frustrating. Probably will not be returning, even with a menu change the waitress mentioned. Drinks were good, but other than that we all agreed it was a very mediocre meal for the $100 we paid per couple (around $220 for the 4 of us total).

I cannot find the words for this review, so I will let my Fiance Lori express both our sentiments. She states... "Upon entering I found the decor to be an eclectic mix of warm rustic, classy elegant, contemporary, and edgy. We sat at the bar with attentive service by Mark. Everything we had from the Buffalo Calamari appetizer to the Korean Short Ribs, and Chicken Schnitzel were unprecedented in taste and preparation. Delectable! The entire venue was well thought out in every possible aspect. Even the bathrooms were thought out and not just thrown together. Whoever is the brainchild of this establishment... is to be commended for the creativity as well as the logistics. You thought of everything. Service= Professional Chalk up.... two more happy Yelpers."

Pretty delicious stuff happening here. We were torn between two places & decided to go here for dinner. We were about an hour early for our reservation.. obviously because we were starving. It was no big deal & we were seated immediately. Score! So, I had this strawberry basil mojito thingy & it was yummy! I definitely think it's worth a taste for those who enjoy a good mojito. They have iPad menus which are awesome but could use a little wipe down between customers. Let's get on with it shall we? Here is the menu: We decided to go with multiple small plates instead of one bigger dish. Brussel sprouts Chorizo flatbread Cheese curds Ricotta jar Lollipops They all have their own name but I'm sure you'll get the idea. I'm going to start with the "meh, I've had better" courses. Brussels & flatbread. The brussel sprouts had an amazing flavor but were under done. A few more minutes in the pan would've done them some justice. The chorizo flatbread was good but the cilantro & red onion was just way too much. It overpowered everything else & made it less enjoyable. Don't get me wrong, it was okay but nothing in comparison to the rest of the meal. Now let's move on to the rest that I'll dream about later. .. The goat cheese curds were delicious & the dill sauce it was served with was awesome. The ricotta jar was perfectly paired & is something you need to try. Revolution Lollipops were absolutely AMAZING & in a weird way felt like a savory dessert. I will definitely return to try more when we return to Toledo!! Yum!

Revolution Grille doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the Toledo's restaurants - in the best way! It was a very warm atmosphere with iPads for menus and great unique food choices. My friend ordered the walleye tacos, and I got the sweet potato gnocchi. For an appetizer, we ordered the dill goat curds, which were SO delicious, and we each got a sparkling lemonade cocktail that was good. The Revolution Grille is such a hidden gem in Toledo amongst the chain restaurants in the area. For a more upscale dinner in a romantic setting, definitely stop by the restaurant!

This is probably one of the better restaurants in Toledo as far as swankiness and overall ambiance. I've been here twice, and overall it has a nice, young vibe, but is also very sophisticated. Unfortunately I'm not super impressed with the food--I would probably give the food 3 stars, but because of the overall feel of the restaurant, servers, and dining experience, I gave it 4 stars. The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't anything special. I like that the menu changes up a lot, but overall some of the dishes are hit or miss. The cocktails and beer selection are great. Long story short: come here if you want modern American fusion cuisine and a nice dining atmosphere.

If 4.5 stars existed, Revolution would be thy name. But it doesn't, and 5 stars would be too much of a stretch. The place was great don't get me wrong, but a couple of our dishes did fall a tad short. Dinner reservations were made for 10pm, but we arrived a little early...no problem! We were sat immediately just after 8pm. Decent sized seating area and bar; and the place was packed. Our digital i-Pad menus were a welcome change from your typical paper books. Decent beer selection, and even better drink/cocktail menu. We made the decision to try a handful of apps as opposed to one or two and an entree... we made the right decision! Fried Goat Curds were delectable...perfectly paired with dill pickle and dill tartar. A tip of the hat to the chef; the tempura batter was magnifique! The Revolution Lollipops were unreal. Reminiscent of an extravagant corn dog/meaty elephant ear, accompanied by a maple and blueberry creme...rich, creamy, and a perfectly balanced gastrique. The Ricotta Jar, like everything else, was freaking ridiculous. Chicken liver pate, creamy ricotta, pear, and honeycomb...the foursome was legendary; without a doubt a "melt in your mouth" experience. Our next two dishes didn't quite hit the spot like the aforementioned. The Crispy Fried Brussel Sprouts had all the makings for a great dish, but the sprouts themselves were a bit underdone, and made chewing somewhat difficult. The accompanying pine nuts, arugula, and maple balsamic reduction were great...just a bit more grill time and the dish would've been a star. The Housemade Chorizo Flatbread was our least favorite. The chorizo was completely absent, as the pepper, red onion, and cilantro completely overpowered the main ingredient. Big chorizo fans here, so for it to be near void was a big disappointment. Bread and cheese were a nice vehicle, but the passengers didn't get along very well. All in all, our visit to Revolution was a big success, and future visits are a near certainty. I'm excited to try some different menu offerings, possibly making the big jump to entrees, and what seems to be some pretty popular dishes among my fellow Yelpers! Viva la Revolution!
