As far as Chinese buffets go, this one was pretty good It was clean and had many serving stations. The food was good. The green beans were excellent. They had coconut shrimp which is my favorite buffet item Huge chocolate fountain

The most outrageous buffet I've ever seen in my life, complete with chocolate fountain! My only complaint is there's not enough vegan options options.

Yum! Have been looking for a good buffet and this is it! Hibachi is amazing. They have a chocolate fountain and an incredible selection. Dissatisfied with the crab ragoons but everything else was devine!

As far as Chinese buffets go, you cant beat Hibachi. They have good options, fresh food, and reasonable prices. The sushi bar and the grill as you watch options are a nice touch for a buffet, definitely leaps and bounds from any other place in Springfield. FYI: try the cheese wontons with sweet and sour

Great selection of hot and delicious food. The staff keep the buffet stocked, so it doesn't run out. The counters are clean. The sushi chef greets you when you stop by his section. Their sushi is great and delicious. The place is beautiful and spacious. The restrooms are clean and we'll maintained. There's a couple of signs that say "Don't waste food", which I do find a bit off-putting, but that's just me. Overall, Hibachi is an excellent Chinese buffet.

Consistently good buffet food. Fresh and they keep the buffet full, also have a hibach grill available. Large space is good for large parties

The food was good and lunch was not bad at all. I only gave three stars because the service was not good at all. One of the workers took a plate out of my hand while I was eating. We were a group of six (two adults and 4 kids) and they only brought four drinks.

If you like Chinese food and not spending a lot of money, this is the place! Great selection of food, all not exclusively Chinese. Sushi bar is pretty good. Haven't tried the Hibachi yet, but its included in the price of admission and selections looked fresh and tasty. Tasty steak and prime rib (cut your own) during dinner. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed our visit here. It seems like since I've come to the columbus area I cannot find a decent Chinese buffet. The ones I've been to were inedible! This one was not the best I've been to but the food was decent here. We came on a Saturday night and it was a little busy but we were seated right away. It was not too pricey. It was only around $10 a person. There were a decent amount of choices here. There was the regular buffet foods, hibachi, sushi, chocolate fountain, etc. They also had crab legs. Of course we didn't see any the whole time we were there. I have given up on crab legs at buffets a long time ago. I would not come out here specifically for this buffet since its a little far from home. If I was in the area and in the mood for a Chinese buffet I would totally visit here again though.

If I live to be a 1000 years old, I'll never understand why I keep coming back for more at these Chinese buffets... I keep forgetting that no matter where I go, and no matter how carefully I try to pick and choose, these places TEAR ME APART, like a $10 Chinese high colonic(!!), sometimes before I even leave the premises!! Seeing as I never seem to learn my lesson, I really shouldn't fault this place... It's clean enough, convenient, has tons of space and plenty of variety. There's all the usual choices, plus salad and sushi, standard American options (why do people go to a Chinese buffet to eat bad/frozen pizza?!?) and a hibachi "pick your own ingredients" option as well. Heck, there's even a chocolate fountain w/fresh fruit available to dip, along with ice cream and lots of other desserts. It's all here... (urp!!!) There are NO better/worse Chinese options really, as the take-outs all have the same stuff here in Springfield, so for better or worse, if you're HUNGRY and have a Mack Truck digestive system, this is not a bad option...

Pros: this place is a good value! $10.95 for all you can eat Buffet! You. Can't beat that price. The Prime Rib tasted great, and the Hibachi food is awesome! Cons: they don't serve alcohol. What is Hibachi and Sushi without beer or sake? The sushi was not good at all! It was even dry. The prime rib was good but too thin for prime rib. So if you want to eat a lot for a great price.... This place is for you! If you want quality food then think again. I did enjoy it and felt like I got my money's worth but I would be willing to pay more for a better quality Meal.

I've dined here a few times. The store is always clean, and there is tons of seating. The price is a little much for a buffet of this quality. It's entirely Americanized besides the hibatchi and sushi. But it's all usually pretty good. Sometimes they slack on keeping everything fresh. But more often it's pretty decent for a buffet. Awesome for quantity but if you're looking for quality I'd go down a few doors to the other Chinese place in the same strip.
(3)James J.
It's a buffet, but a decent one at that. Good selections; if it's busy they keep it fresh. One of the few places that still has raw sushi selections on the buffet. Have eaten here several times with no real complaints. Will certainly be back.

Very affordable and authentic Chinese food. I will recommend to my family and friends and will come again myself. They have about 9 self-serviced counters, 1 sushi bar, and 1 mogonlian grill even for lunch time! they have snow crabs for dinner but I didn't try. out the 9 counters, half are hot entrees and the rest are cold starters and desserts. That means a great variety of selection. no comment on the following: beef, mongolian grill, salad or fruits. chicken, shrimp, sushi, jello, rice and chocolate fountain are very delicious. the quality of food are excellent and it's fresh and cooked well. meat were tender and veggies were crisp and soft. (no overcooked) sushi were nice. they only made a few at a time to keep it fresh. when it's gone, u need to wait for it. the cakes were a little dry but overall it tasted ok.

If you want cheap Chinese food and don't mind it being crowded, then you found your spot. The sushi isn't terrible and I enjoy the hibachi.

Overall--not so good. Took the family for supper on Sunday. Tons of food; some of it a bit overcooked (sweet & sour chicken) & some quite tasty (the Chinese green beans). We went to the grill and would have liked our chicken cooked longer as it was still pink inside. My son literally got sick in the bathroom (he's 29) after eating something, another member of our party had stomach cramps for a few hours. Nice variety of foods, salads & desserts.

Gross... Your standard super nasty generic Chinese buffet. I didn't even give the sushi a go because I'm not really into blowing chunks and I REALLY enjoy good sushi and didn't want to ruin my good sushi track record. Stuck to the basics, pizza and Mac n cheese in hopes food poisoning wouldn't set in too rapidly. Of course I still got the standard bubble guts you will get from this type of place. Will only return to ransack the joint in the case of zombie apocalypse. We all know the likelihood of that happening 1 star because the Mt dew was good...

I took my grandparents out for lunch here one day (because we were hungry). We were impressed, I have to say! The amount of food here is impressive! They have a large sushi bar, and just rows upon rows of other hot foods! And it all tasted great! This was my only time eating here, and I'd like to return next time i'm hungry in Springfield.

Very impressed with this restaurant. Great decor, good food. A little on the pricey side for a Chinese buffet, but good food. Even includes a chocolate fountain.
(5)Kymberlei T.
Well so far so great! The food is fresh, and the employees are nice. The lunch price was about 7, and dinner is about 9. There is sushi, a grill section, and some American food on the buffet. The best part I think is the giant chocolate fountain! Yum chocolate covered pineapple!! Definitely go there before the quality drops off. :)
(5)Catherine B.
Sigh. I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised since it IS a buffet but the sushi was make-shift, the buffet was typical, the price however was awesome. The chocolate fountain was cool until I saw slobbery and boogery hands go in it. Best bang for the buck but I won't be going back unless I have to.
(3)Bill O.
Clean and well kept. Excellent variety and prices.
(4)Robert S.
Buffets.....what can I say. Average food quality, heavy on the mayonnaise and oils for certain dishes. Didn't see any crab legs. Would most likely go back.......

My husband had to drag me here. I did not want to go to another 'boring' chinese buffet. I really didn't. But he'd heard such good things and wanted to try it. I am so glad he made me go. It was fantastic. TONS of foods, great selection and tasty. There is even a chocolate fountain that was delicious. Our 3 year old daughter had a blast and the prices were great. Can't wait to go again!

DO NOT EAT SUSHI!!! I got food poisoned pretty bad.

I have been waiting to try this place ever since I saw the billboards before they opened and I am definitely not disappointed. I had my expectations of it being like every other place like it in Springfield, bland/tasteless food with not so great service. The food was very flavorful, the presentation was good, and the service was very friendly. I really hope that the quality of this restaurant doesn't slide in the coming months because I was really impressed and certainly intend to go back. Also, the chocolate fountain was a nice touch.

Hibachi is right across the street from us, so we go there a lot. The food is always hot and ready, and with the large (and I mean large) selection there is something for everyone to eat, even if they're not fans of Chinese food. OK, there are a few dishes that I'm not fond of, but so many things that I love. And because we go there a lot, I can say that the food is always consistent, and I would consider it to be above the quality that you find at many Chinese buffets. C'mon - they serve prime rib all the time! Salad bar, fruit bar, 2 dessert bars, four hot bars, plus the hibachi bar that you can have cooked especially for you. I'm not a huge fan of sushi, though I've eaten some of the easy stuff - but we've taken friends there who are big sushi fans, and they loved it. You can watch them make the stuff.....fresh. The staff are always eager to please, the restaurant is clean and orderly. Lots of parking. What's not to love? Oh yeah, great prices!

Everything I'm writing is with the consideration that this is a buffet. Nice atmosphere, still very new so pretty clean. Our server was a little "daft" so we had to have other servers get our beverages. The food was pretty darn good, the sushi not so much and we didn't do hibachi. The desert bar was really good, and instead of soft serve ice cream .. . there were tubs of hand scoop ice cream in many flavors. Chocolate fountain was a nice touch with the fresh fruit. The BR could have used some attention. If it stays at the level it is now I could see myself gaining a few pounds from visiting!

We went today for lunch.....affordable and tasty! The chilled mussels tasted like the ocean...delicious. SO MUCH FOOD! We left very full! I really enjoyed the sushi. The best part was taking those little fried Chinese donuts with the sugar on them....you know, the kind on every Chinese buffet....but then covering them in chocolate at the chocolate fountain!! YUM! We will return....Senior Citizens only pay $4.99...so take your grandma along!
