You can see effort was made to update the interior, although poorly done. There is a weird smell, which reminded me or urinal cakes through the whole resturant. We were seated one of only two tables busy that day. Took 10 mins to get our drinks, we ordered and finally after 25 mins got our food. We all ordered sandwhiches and fries. The food wasn't bad, the pulled pork was moist and tender. Although we had to wait another 15 mins from when it was obvious we were done to get our check. Very poor wait staff and a very slow kitchen. While we were there, there was another table already seated when we arrived. It was a larger party of about 10-12. They were seated in the center of the room. Which made seating away from them impossible. They weren't a bad group, but when a larger group is sat in the center of the room with bad accoustics it's impossible to hear anything else. I felt bad for them, they had clearly been there for a while when we arrived. After we finally got our drinks and placed our order. They still hadn't been served. Finally while we had our dinners they were just getting thier salads and bread. We came in after and completed our meal and paid before they were even served thier main dishes. The staff ia clearly not able to handle waiting on more than 1-2 people at a time.
