When visiting this place, keep in mind that it is a greasy spoon. They offer a breakfast buffet, which has all the typical American breakfast favorites. The buffet is what I always get, and it is pretty average as far as breakfast standards go. But, the donuts are KILLER. They absolutely knocked that out of the park while planning this restaurant. Keep in mind that they typically run out early, so get there fast, or you may be searching through a picked-over selection. Overall, the servers are friendly and prompt. The place doesn't have a focus on decor, and when we went last time the tables were pretty close together in the center of the room. That is understandable because of the sheer amount of people trying to get into this place. Lake people love their greasy spoon breakfast spots for hangovers, and this place doesn't disappoint. The donuts are the reason for the fourth star!

Food was on par for a greasy spoon and the doughnuts were good. Take a look at the menu before deciding if you want to eat there, prices are way too much for basic breakfast food. My advice? Find the coupon in one of the local 'tourist' magazines for BOGO doughnuts and order a dozen to go.

Very average place to go, but for lake Erie that better than a lot of places. Only major complaint was the cashier lady when we paid for are meal. She was super slow and questioned what we had to drink. It's called water. That's why it's not on the bill. Lol

Out of donuts at 10am, buffet had eggs, hashbrowns, sausage links, bacon, biscuits and gravey, and a mixed fruit salad. Stick to ordering off the menu. Our waitress was not friendly, overall not worth the hype! Went back the next morning and picked up a dozen donuts, this made up for yesterday's experience!

Slow service. gross food. nice servers. skip it. gross. Waited over an hour and half of hash browns were uncooked and other half looked like they were cooked with a blow torch...scrambled eggs were like plastic...cannot be real eggs.

They will give you a free scrumptious do-nut on your first visit! Hearty portions and super friendly staff! My favorite ownership thus far in that spot! Keep up the great work.

We are seasonal boaters and we looked forward to coming back to Catawba to go back to JT's. We absolutely love the staff as they are always so nice. We go for breakfast most often and we love the JT's omlette. Good stuff. The prices are fair for the area and they are family run and owned. Support the locals and enjoy a good meal here! Also try the doughnuts. .. AWESOME!

The best donut I ever had. It was even free because I was a first time customer. Portions for breakfast were huge and the food was good. Great place to eat breakfast on the island!
