Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday morning and really enjoyed the food and service. Our server was really funny, nice, friendly and helpful. He always made sure all four of our coffees were topped off. I would take a few sips of coffee and right away he would make sure to top it off with more hot coffee. The portions at this place are HUGE! I ordered an omelette which was delicious and HUGE! I barely finished half of my meal. My guy had The Bomb and it was amazing. I would definitely return to this place and highly recommend it to others. Keep up the great service and delicious food!

Oasis in Port Clinton. Have you ever BEEN to Port Clinton? This is the Land That Yelp Forgot. It's slim pickings out here. Every one of our group struck out at finding a decent breakfast place on our own. We had to ask a local where to go, and that's how we found this gem. There is really no other place that comes close to the quality and friendliness at Dianna's if you are ANYwhere near Port Clinton. The breakfast line was out the door but moved briskly. Every breakfast combo was around $5.50, had large portions, and was a perfect example of hearty midwestern fare. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!

We had breakfast, it was exactly what you would expect from a deli restaurant. Food was good, portions were larger than average. The help was fantastic, very attentive. We would come back again when in Port Clinton.

We were looking for a local place that was clean and had a variety of food. This was why Dianna's seemed to fit the bill. The restaurant is very clean and the menu has everything from Greek to Chinese stir fry. So, while that kind of variety freaked us out, we were hungry and decided to be adventurous. Our waitress was unable to recommend anything, as she has only worked there for about a month. She told us the soup of the day was chicken noodle and stuffed pepper. Yes....stuffed pepper soup. Seeing that one of the specials this evening was stuffed peppers, why would you also serve stuffed pepper soup. I felt like peeking in the kitchen door and yelling "what the heck is going on back here?" Once I regained consciousness, I asked her how they made this soup. She tells me...and I am not making this up..."it is a tomato soup with rice, ground beef and pieces of green bell pepper in it". Wow, how original. Not a single pepper is stuffed in that soup. I think I will NOT have that. I end up ordering pork with sauerkraut (can't mess that up) and my daughter orders an open faced turkey sandwich. We order an appetizer, but that was all we did....ordered it. It never came. So this story isn't over. Our entrees come out and we look at plates that are overflowing with food. When you were growing up, did anyone pour gravy over your pork and sauerkraut? Well, they do at Dianne's. Probably the same culinary genius that developed the stuffed pepper soup. At this point, I want to start looking for cameras, because this can't be for real. We ate it. It wasn't bad. It wasn't good. But the whole soup thing stills bothers me. The waitress staff is also overworked and never checks back after your get your food. Not their fault, but It is Dianna's fault. Of course, she also hired the soup maker gravy master in the back too. I left the waitress a big tip because she is nice and is working under poor conditions. I'm a nice guy even after an unfortunate gravy incident. My daughter had gravy on her sandwich as well. Yellow chicken gravy. It was really yellow and scared her at first. But she is a brave soul and ventured where some may have feared to go. I feel like we need to eat at Dianna's again. I am intrigued about tomorrow's menu. They might have a different soup like a nice lasagna bisque. Mmm mmm good!

Always one of our favorite breakfast places. Food is great and service is fast. Omelets are great but the Bomb breakfast is pretty amazing. Just make sure you're really hungry or split it.

Great for breakfast. Super service great for families. They have specials everyday and good home cooking. I would lean to the specials or breakfast. It's not fancy but good.

This was my second visit here. The first time, we waited for an hour for food that was ice cold. Due to our favorite place having too long a wait including 30 minutes for a coffee refill, we decided to try it again. Boy, not my best decision, mcdonalds or Taco Bell would have been a better decision. They had a special advertised today as the captains omelet. It was listed as crabmeat, shrimp, cheese, asparagus, and cheese. Needless to say it was pretty much the cheapest imitation crab frozen from bassets, absolutely rubbery and disgusting. The shrimp was okay, but I was hoping for more than 3. Luckily, I ordered toast and had some tasteless, but crispy hashbrowns to fall back on. The last time my girlfriend got a crepe rollup, which was nowhere near a real crape, with strawberry topping inside instead of the real deal. Not my favorite place at all. If you must go, avoid seafood and crepes, very disappointing.

Classic diner food. Went for a latish dinner on a Saturday drive from Maumee to Marblehead lighthouse. Food good no surprises! Easy on and off 269...hungry stop and go in and out 1 hour. I got the ribeye steak sand which special 7.45 with fries and side salad what a DEAL! Mountain of Spaghetti for our 2 year old 4.65!

I LOVE this place! Awesome breakfast food! Great crepes and pancakes! Every time I come here the food has been awesome and my coffee cup is always full, which is really important to me. Service is spot on and really friendly! There's usually a bit of a wait but it's never been anything outrageous. Check it out and enjoy!

A decent breakfast place. But I still miss Mayhew's in Port Clinton...those homemade doughnuts....sigh.

They serve non dairy creamer for coffee. Food was ok. Husband said sausage patties were not good. We went here only because it was the only choice we saw for breakfast.

I used to love this place until it was found they were tax evaders. I pay my taxes and will not be back... you don't deserve my business. The food was good and the staff was iffy at times. I hate to see the place packed on weekends in the summer by people that don't know about the sketchy business practices!

My friend and I stopped in yesterday afternoon for coffee and a light lunch. When I saw "potato pancakes" on the menu I got excited as I love those and am familiar with how they should be...(they should look like pancakes and are served with sour cream and applesauce.) However, when they were served, although they did come with the sour cream and applesauce, I thought the server had misunderstood my order. These "pancakes" were obviously frozen, not freshly made, and looked and tasted exactly like McDonald's little hash brown oval shaped patties.. I was very disappointed. Also, my friend just wanted dessert, but each item she tried to order from the menu, she was told by the server that they didn't have it during the winter months. She finally settled on a piece of pie from only two that she was told were available....and then the server came back and told her that there were two additional pies to choose from....she obviously didn't know what was and wasn't available. I understand that this is a tourist town and a lot of places have limited hours and menus...but, it would have been helpful if there had maybe been a little card attached to the menu letting the customer know which items are not served during the winter...or maybe even seperate winter and summer menus.

It was suggested we eat here for dinner, and I was skeptical. The demographic is an older crowd, but they offer something for everyone. I was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of choices on the menu. When our food arrived, it was really hot (good thing) and I was astounded at the portion sizes for the cost. They were huge portions, and the prices were good. The facility was clean and the service was good. It was a kid friendly place with a nice selection on the kids menu too. I'll return.

Bland. Everything is bland and without much flavor. This place is a lot like a privately-owned Denny's. They seem to do a good business with the blue-hair crowd but the food here is forgettable. Serving portions are foolishly large. Out table of four ordered three entrees and we still had plenty left over. But the food was so bland we left most of it there. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and all of the help seemed to be high-school kids. They did an acceptable job with the service. The place is clean. But the food - forgettable.

I had breakfast (for lunch) at Dianna's while on vacation. Breakfast is my favorite meal and I find that I almost always enjoy it, no matter the restaurant. That said, my breakfast order at Dianna's was not-so-good to the point that I just decided I'd rather not finish my meal. While certainly not horrible, it was the least satiating breakfast I've eaten in several years. ...I may have actually enjoyed Waffle House more. :X Our server didn't seem very happy to be working, but she was still attentive to our table's needs. Dianna's offers free, zero-authentication wifi.

Deli? Not so much as a very good, even great, family restaurant with an amazing menu. We were in PC for a family reunion. Had dinner there one night with 10 of us and our server was gracious, friendly, helpful, and fast. We all had appetizers that arrived on large, sharing size platters, wonderful entrees with the BEST French onion soup, salads, and dessert for an amazing price. Let me just step back a moment to the French onion soup....the cup is really a bowl....about the size of a cereal bowl that one would expect to pay $8 or more for in a fancier restaurant. The first sight of that steaming bowl of goodness made me swoon. Lovely melted cheese (at the stage it was browning and sticking to the edges of the bowl) hid the fragrant soup until you broke thru the goodness on top. Large chunks of good, thick bread supported the cheese and once into the soup itself, I was stunned by its full mouth flavor without the overwhelming saltiness that often finds its way into onion soup. The price for this beauty was $1.95 up charge with an entree. Otherwise one of the soups of the day were included in the price of the entree. I would be willing to make the 11 hour drive back to PC from Atlanta just for the soup! Our table of ten sampled Chicken Paprikash, Swiss steak and veggies with REAL mashed potatoes, a huge shrimp salad, fresh, local walleye, pork chops with cabbage and apples, etc. Not a sound could be heard as we tucked into our plates. It seemed I ate for half an hour and still had not made a significant dent. To go boxes appeared all around and we trekked out of there with enough food for another meal each. Unfortunately, no one had room for dessert but we did take a slice of carrot cake home for later. Huge slice of really good cake that made forks appear all around after the first bite drew an "omagawd" from the taster. Dinner was so good we went back for breakfast another day and we were not disappointed. Unlike another poster, I could not imagine better service. We were looking for a property in PC for which we didn't have an address. They went out of their way to help, even asking other diners, and came up with the answer we needed. I hope you will try this spot if you are in the area.

Not a bunch of options in Port Clinton, this place is your typical strip center type restaurant. Prompt service, decent value, just average food. I don't recall any healthy options on the menu, okay coffee. Not the best, but not the worst either.
