This place has new owners, since March 2011. Kayla's review still applies though, because the ice cream is still made by the person that used to own it when she visited. I went the other night for the first time and I will definitely be back often. The ice cream was great, but even better was the selection of foods they have. Not a large menu, but just enough to make you have to pause for a second before you decide what to get. I didn't pause :) I got the potato & tomato soups and the BBQ pulled pork (all homemade btw). All of it was great, plus I had plenty of leftovers for 2 lunches:) and to add another star their prices were great. I don't think I have been in a "food/ice cream shop" with such great prices in a very long time. I paid around $13 for all my food, which the soup was like a bowl size, plus my kiddie double scoop of ice cream. Susie & Wayne know the true value of genuine customer service and that alone would take me back. FYI: This review might sound like I know them personally, but I don't. I just moved here from California and it was my first visit. The personal feel comes from being a people person:) Folks go check them out and you won't be disappointed. Another plus for me is that they will be open during the winter, which is one of the reasons for their great soup selection. Enjoy!!!!

Cool atmosphere, I mean seriously air conditioned. I usually get a banana split or a brownie sundae. Great stuff.

Great place for lunch! Sandwiches made with delicious homemade bread!! Good coleslaw! Ive never had a better chocolate peppermint milkshake! The counter lady was extremely pleasant and kind. Not just an ice cream store! The decorations were cute and hilarious.

ILOVETHISPLACE!!! They have THE best ice cream ever! and their panini's are out of this world. I try to go here everytime I go back home and usually bring my Mom along for a nice treat. The staff are super super friendly and it always feels like your welcome

The lady was very sweet and took care of us with a pleasant disposition. I ordered a chocolate milkshake and my husband ordered some sort of sundae which they can make with any of the ice cream flavors. They even had peanuts or almonds for his sundae! We both enjoyed our treats. YUM! :P The inside decor is not to be missed. It's very colorful and bright. They even have games (like Barrel of Monkeys) on the tables. Ice cream shops should be about fun and they have it spot on in this establishment. She told us that they make their own ice cream downstairs, too, and I thought that was neat to know. We will return and possibly in greater numbers. :)
