Let me start by saying this is one of my few reviews - reason is I haven't found a place worth writing a review about - this place is! Hands down best burger next to Teds Bison. Fantastic smoked wings and a fantastic beer selection with a beer club on top of it! Visit - you will love it!

Just tasted the new smoked buffalo wings and they were fantastic!! My favorite used to be the grilled dry rub wings but now it's the smoked. I'm a wing connoisseur and these are the best I've tasted...period. As you can see, I highly recommend them. I'd give them five stars but the service was a little slow.

Eaten lunch here about 10 times now. Really like the wings, The food in general is reasonably good. Service has always been good too. The weekday lunch specials are a very good value.

Had the smoked wings....a religious experience. Unreal...I will be be back frequently for these and these alone!

Summary: Great food, epic service! We came on a night they were admittedly short-handed but, despite the delays in ordering and getting refills, they made us feel important and kept their game faces on. Kudos for the way the staff and manager (or owner?) and bar back all work their butts off to serve and rush of people. Apparently a server went home sick and the final four on their 20+ TVs drew an unexpected crowd. Grilled wings with garlic were excellent. Heavy sauce on smoked then charred jumbo wings. The Philly Cajun chicken was very good but next time I'll skip the onion pedals as they were too greasy for my taste. My friend had the Mac and cheese and he said it was as good as it looked. I will be back if I'm in the area.

Awesome food, very unique! Great service and great selection of food and beer! I'll be back soon! I would recommend this place for a casual meet up after work or on a weekend. Great local spot!

A real diamond in the rough. Located in a small strip with little signage, a wonderful little bar and restaurant sits quietly on super bowl Sunday afternoon. My family succumbed to a craving for good chicken wings and it led us to Lucky Dog. I had the Smoked Wings that come with your choice of their many sauces on the side. The spicy Garlic got my attention. They were absolutely amazing. The large order netted me 7, three part whole chicken wings! Each with a tip, wingette and drum, it was like an average order of 14! They were moist and delicious. The dry rub gave a sweet yet savory flavor that paired perfectly with the spicy garlic sauce and a little blue cheese. Presented in a large basket with ample fresh crispy celery. An absolute delight. I will be back for sure. My wife ordered the order of 12 grilled wings in the mild buffalo sauce. They were 12 individual wingettes and drums, sauces and grilled to a charred perfection. Served in the same basket with a mound of celery along side, the wings were enormous. This was my first experience with grilled wings in a commercial setting and they were amazing. This will be our go to place for wings.

I crave their grilled chicken wings. Sometimes out of nowhere I think that I have to have their grilled chicken wings or I might die. Seriously. I have been to Lucky Dog many times but have never ordered anything except the grilled wings (is there a support group out there somewhere I could join?). However, my friends/family have had other things (they are not allowed to eat my wings) and I have nibbled a bit (unfair, I know) at their dishes and everything is tasty. Beer selection is fabulous and fun. Trivia on Saturday night is a great time and usually very crowded (kudos that they take reservations for trivia space in the bar - something most places do not do). My only complaint and the reason I cannot give five stars is the service is pretty slow. The wait staff is friendly but many times it seems that the restaurant does not anticipate their crowds and do not have enough servers scheduled. To be fair, I have been there on a Saturday night for trivia when there have been four teams and have also been there when there have been 22 teams, so it is hard to gage and no way to know who is coming. But the service can be a problem. It's okay. I'll wait for the wings.

I love the service. They're very personable and friendly always making sure you're doing okay with food and drinks. Nice place to get together with friends and groups to have a good time.

SIMPLY THE BEST! My addiction is to the level that I have been looking at houses nearby so that I can visit more often. They have hands-down the best beer selection in the city(this includes ciders). You can also put in requests for hard to get items. Jeff, the bar manager, is a beer enthusiast and is always up for new ideas. The owners have invested in the best smoker. All of the food is delicious. The staff is always friendly and they remember us. It is a very "CHEERS"-y feeling.

I had one of the worst restaurant experiences ever. We had a party of 9 arriving at 10:30 on Friday night knowing that they are supposed to be open until 2:30 am on Friday nights. After waiting for 10 minutes to get seated, the waitress told us that the kitchen is not making anymore grilled chicken wings (their most famous food on their menu) since they haven't been busy and one the cooks was leaving. We also had a few others joining us and when I told her we have more people coming she said "if you can tell me exactly when they arrive, may be I can ask the manager to turn the grills back on". I have never heard of such thing before. If we had arrived around 2:00 am perhaps I would understand it we were there at 10:30. So we left, contacted the rest of the party and met the at Bdubs. Worst experience ever!!!! Never going back again.

Bad slow service by a waitress who was sampling the beer instead of serving. Nachos were gross and sad. Wings were decent. Beer on tap was room temp. Loud rap started at 9:00 on a thursday night. Went for a quick bite after work and it took FOREVER. No thanks.

I LOVE this place! Excellent service every time. Fantastic wings. Kid friendly. I highly recommend this place for lunch, dinner and even events. Great place to eat after kid's sports with their teams too.

A couple of weekends ago I took the family out to Mason to meet an old friend for lunch. After a quick online search we settled on the Lucky Dog Grille. Once we finally found the restaurant that is slightly hidden behind the gas station on the corner, we nearly decided to go somewhere else. The outside of the strip mall location appeared dark and there were only a couple of cars in the parking lot. However we decided to stick it out and see what they had to offer. I was shocked upon entering the restaurant that is much larger and brighter on the inside than what the outside leads you to believe. There is a fairly large bar area as well as a massive dining room area filled with tables that can easily be pulled together to fit the largest of groups. As the parking lot indicated, there were only a few other customers inside. After waiting a few minutes to be greeted, I approached the bar to ask if we should just seat ourselves, and then found a table near the windows. Before we could take our seats, one of the servers on the floor grabbed some menus for us and offered to get a high chair for our little one. The menu is a tad overwhelming and has everything from wings to salads, sandwiches, build your own burgers, and even steak or tilapia. They also have a nice selection of 24 different beers on tap. I ordered the twisted chicken Philly served with onion petals ($8.49). The sandwich was large and tasted good. I could have used a little sauce on it, perhaps the Teriyaki that is served on another Philly would have helped. The onion petals were great and the spicy dipping sauce that came with it was a nice touch. As she so often does, my wife managed to order something that I cannot find on the online menu. However I do remember that it was a BBQ chicken flatbread. I don't recall how much it cost but I think it was fairly cheap, and it better have been based on the size of the pizza. I had a couple bites and fortunately the taste made up for what it lacked in size. I don't recall there being any unique toppings on it, but the toppings that were there were well plentiful. Looking back on it now, I think I should have ordered some of their specialty big dog grilled wings, and I would definitely do that on a future visit. I don't think Lucky Dog is worth a special trip to Mason. However if you are in the area you could do a lot worse.

This is one of my new favorite places up in the Mason area. First of all, they have 24 draft handles of excellent beers (My last trip there I got a Rogue Dead Guy and an Old Rasputin). I have to give major points to any place that makes an effort to have a good beer selection. The food is good. They have a good selection of standard and some more adventurous takes on the typical pub food (Sandwiches, wraps, hoagies, fish 'n chips, burgers) The wings are good, and I'm also quite partial to the hoagies. The atmosphere is sports-barish. It's actually pretty big inside, the bar and restaurant sides are big enough to each be their own establishments. I typically like to sit out on their patio area when the weather is nicer though. Each time I've gone, the staff has always been friendly and helpful. Overall It's just a good place to go, get something to eat, and hang out. It's also close to my house (Which I'm sure nobody cares about. I'd still give 5 stars if it wasn't)

This place just opened up a little bit ago after taking over what used to be a Mongolian Grill. Since I work nearby, we decided to try it out for lunch. Walking in, the place is very clean and well set-up with a nice bar area with some arcade games and billiards tables. There are TV's all around so they are catering a sports bar kind of atmosphere. They have some lunch specials for $5 or $6 but I ended up going with their advertised grilled wings. Wings were very good and big and a nice variety of sauces. Also a tad expensive but I think you get more meat on them than at other wing places so it evens out. I also got an order of spicy cajun fries which were delicious. Beer selection looked decent for an American style sports bar. Overall, a huge recommendation for anyone looking for a casual lunch or dinner with their favorite team on TV.

The Lucky Dog has a vast array of microbrews/tappers. I came here via Yelp on a business trip and was not disappointed. I would recommend doing their flights of beers as they have many on tap. Wings were pretty good, the beer selection will have me coming back next time i'm in town.

This place has a decent selection of craft beers to choose from. The brew is cold and served in a nice tall glass. If you want to try a lot of different types of beers, then this is the place to go. Prices are fair too. The servers are friendly, smile a lot, and are attentive. Add in large screen TVs, and you have a great place. I've not had their food, so I can't comment on that. On the weekend, there's a crowd. During the week, not many people at all. There's not much of business sign on the outside of the building which makes this place easy to pass by. Will I go back? You betcha!

Lucky Dog has become our local favorite bar/casual eatery here in Mason since the first time we tried it on a whim almost a year ago. We usually try to go there a few times a month and when we do get a chance, my husband and I find ourselves lingering longer than we intend to because the atmosphere and craft beer are so awesome. Their menu has many choices which makes it fun to try new things every time we dine there. Their wings are grilled not fried! I was very pleasantly shocked the first time I had them, they we're absolutely delicious. Normally, I wouldn't have tried crab cakes in a bar-type environment but I had yet to be disappointed by the other items I've had on previous occasions. The best and meatiest crab cakes I had in a very long time, as if they were prepared in a seafood restaurant! The prices are very reasonable and we've only had moderately good service one time out of the many times we've been. My husband and I often question why there aren't more people packing into this place. The only thing I can figure is that it must be the location. It's kind of hard to see from the road. This is one of those places that will grow by word of mouth because it's that awesome. Great atmosphere, great food, great service and great beer! What more can you ask for?

Wife and I were craving hot wings last night and found this place through Yelp. Let me first say that this is one of the nicest looking interiors for a bar/grill that we had been in in quite sometime. Very clean . The hostess and our waitress were A+. Order wings with a couple of different sauces. The dry Cajun and spicy garlic were amazing. Order a Cajun Philly cheesesteak which was not that great which is why this is not a 5 star. Highly recommend hitting this place up over BW as the wings here are twice the size. Almost forgot.... Beer selection is quite large and they have some samplers which were great to branch out.

Terrible experience at this restaurant. This was our first time here. We came here because of the four star reviews. Never again. It took 45 minutes to get our food for a Party of four. Both burger orders were small and very dry burgers. Buffalo chicken nachos was bad. Very little chicken on the chips. Do not come here.

We moved to the Mason area about 2 years ago we came across Lucky Dog online and decided to give it a try and must I say it's quickly become one of our favorite places to eat the staff is amazing and the food is amazing and made fresh. They have some of the best wings I've ever had you have to try them grilled the staff went above and beyond on our last visit I was playing the claw machine trying to win this bunny for my one year old I couldn't not get it and literally seconds after I sat down the man came in the full the machine and take quarters one of the waitress's tells him that I was trying to get a prize so he gives her the bunny and she gives it to my 1 year old it's services like this that brings costumers back we will keep coming here for years to come. If possible get a group and come on a Saturday night they have trivia it's free and tons of fun with fair questions they had pool fooseball and basketball but got rid of them I guess if I have to find a negative that would be it...

After a long day at Kings Island with 3 hungry adults and 3 hungry kids, we were so happy to find Lucky Dog Grille open late on a Monday night!!! The owner kept the restaurant open for us and the new manager could not have been nicer. The food was amazing- perfect after a long day in the sun!!!!! Really enjoyed this restaurant and highly recommend it!!!!!

Tons of beer to select from. If you come here and order a bud light you should be spit on to be honest. They have a huge variety of rotating taps to choose from. The beer is a 5 the food is a 3. So a solid 4, check it out bros.

Finally stopped in with the family and loved it. Wings are big and juicy but the best part is they are grilled. I had 6 spicy garlic and 6 mild. The sauces were excellent. Because they are grilled you also get a great smoked flavor as well. More good news: there are 24 craft beers on tap and they sell growlers! Finally someone in Mason sells growlers! The wife says the Mac n cheese is pretty good but only gives three stars. She doesn't eat wings though.

We go to Lucky Dog every Saturday night for team trivia (go Average Joes! "Those guys suck..."). The place is big, in fact it's almost like two separate establishments, with a bar on the left side and a restaurant on the right. And it's packed as hell every Saturday, even at 8PM when trivia starts. I am sure trivia has something to do with how busy the place is, but the food helps. It's quite good, actually, much better than I expected when we first started coming. The pot stickers appetizer is delicious, the burgers are big and juicy (and there are a lot of them to pick from), and their specialties are wings and steak sandwiches. The wings are on the expensive side but you understand why when you see them. They're massive. I am guessing they're from dinosaur chickens. The only place I've had comparable wings are at Rick's Tavern in Fairfield. The steak sandwiches are the biggest surprise though -- if you know me, you know I'm very particular about steak sandwiches. In this city there's basically Penn Station... and that's it. I usually won't even order a steak sandwich anywhere else, because they use the wrong bread, the meat has no flavor, etc. But at the urging of our friend Nicole who works there (who we've known for almost 10 years, since back in her Village Tavern days) I decided to give theirs a try, and I'll be darned if I didn't like them. It might not be Pat's or Geno's, but for a Cincinnati bar they really are good. And kudos to them for actually serving malt vinegar, which is an absolute must on a cheesesteak. Many places don't have it. I can't say I've been here late night, and I haven't been on here much on days other than Saturday, but they do have karaoke during the week with Jimmy and Lisa (our favorite karaoke MC's from Village Tavern), and there's a pool table. There's also a lot of TV's around, though I'm deducting half a star because the biggest TV (a large projector screen that happens to be right in front of where we're always sitting) is never on when we're there, even during college football season. We always have to complain to the manager to get him to turn it on, which is silly on a Saturday night when you have college football on dozens of other little TV's. They earn back the half star I deducted though because unlike most places we play trivia, this one actually allows you to use the gift cards you win on alcohol. With $30 to the winning team every week, our first three buckets are almost paid. Can't beat that. (note: that won't apply to you, since you have to win. Na na boo boo stick your head in doo doo, we're better than you. Thank you, Tosh.0...) In the end, we are very, very glad they started having trivia here Saturday's. Previously we went to Through the Garden every Saturday, and frankly the only reason we did was because it was the only convenient place to play. Not only is Lucky Dog closer, but being able to play, eat better food, spend less money, AND watch football on Saturday nights... well, that's a tough combo to beat.

My wife and I originally came here about 4 years ago and were luke warm on the experience, however, we were pleasantly surprised when we went back twice this week. I have had the smoked wings and a the bacon cheddar burger. Both were delicious and priced well. The other people with us had burgers and salads, which everyone seemed to enjoy. Overall, the food menu is substantial and the in house smoked items sound great. The craft beer selection is great and I am pleased they had two nitro stouts. The size of the restaurant was great and there were plenty of TVs for watching sports.

I was duped! I came here about three years ago and experienced awful service, so I put this place in my "dead to me" category. Last week, the manager posted on the Mason community Facebook page that they'd recognized their service issues and that they'd implemented new processes to improve them and to please give them a second chance if you hadn't been in lately. I was tricked. I brought my coworkers for a happy hour. Two of us arrived about fifteen minutes before our other teammates and we had not been waited on or acknowledged by the time more people showed up. We went through three different servers in our 90 minutes there. We each were only able to order two drinks because that's how little our table was visited. When my food came out, it was cold. Not just room temperature cold, but actually cold. I asked our server to take it back and warm it up and didn't even get an apology. When we were ready to pay, we had to physically get up from our table and go pay at the bar because our server hadn't been by in such a long time. I don't know what else to say except that the manager clearly hasn't addressed all of the service issues yet so I'll continue to steer clear.

You wouldn't know it from its exterior appearance, but this is one of the best restaurants in the Mason area. Bring your pup and sit outside as you enjoy a surprisingly diverse beer menu and great food. We continue to be stunned by how empty the restaurant is most of the time. The waitstaff is terrific, and they always bring out a bowl of water for our big guy.

Two words: Smoked. Wings. Wow, I could eat myself sick on these they are so good! Perfectly seasoned, moist, and it's actually the whole wing. The rest of this review is just details :) I've lived right in the area for a while but thought this was just a dive sports bar. How wrong I was! Read another great review and decided to try it. Huge place, very nice, lots of TVs, cute bar area. Friendly wait staff who are great at giving suggestions. Our waitress mentioned its mostly a from scratch kitchen, which I love! Superb craft beer selection with the best beer club I've ever seen. Lets just say you have a shot at getting a beer brewed just for you, among other things! They also rotate drafts frequently. Little disappointed in the nachos since I'm a nacho connoisseur. They weren't bad, but not a wow, and the portion was pretty small.

The wings are awesome. As is the local craft beer selection. The bar area is very nice and the staff super friendly. Add in an area outside where they will literally serve your dog water, treats, dinner and dessert. It's a great place to hang out.

Wonderful!!! Jeff picks some of the best beer I have been able to locate under one roof. Not only does he select beers for passionate drinkers, but his knowledge of the craft is quite inspiring. He's willing to talk beer at any occasion and his staff are wonderful hosts. Additionally, the Kitchen also makes some of the best house-smoked chicken wings I've had in Ohio. Thanks guys!! I appreciate ur thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Cheers!

Very good service, friendly staff and good beer selection. We tried both the grilled and smoked wings both were good and different from your typical drop n fry frozen wings. I would highly recommend either the grilled (well done) or smoked wings. They don't have a medium buffalo sauce, but hot was more on the medium side than hot. I had the bacon cheddar burger, which I ordered medium instead of my typical medium rare. It was too over cooked for my liking, but the peppered bacon was delicious. Hubby got the Philly cheesesteak which he thought was just OK. We both got Cajun fries which were well-seasoned and came with a side of ranch. We would go back again and try a few other items on the menu. Our server also said they were looking to expand their smoked items, which I think is a great idea!! Definitely worth a try and miles above BWs!!!

Great smoked wings! They have so many fantastic craft beers. Makes it hard to pick one! They make their own beer cheese dip too which is a nice change from most bars. Try the smokes bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers! OMG!

DOG FRIENDLY! They seriously have a menu for the dogs! Chicken wings were very good and beat BWW by far. Great beer selection as well. Support this local business and go here! So sad to see it almost empty on a Saturday afternoon...

We had the smoked wings and pretzel bites. The wings were five star worthy. Excellent flavor. They're dry rubbed and smoked. We didn't even use any of the sauces on them. The pretzel bites were ok, the cheese sauce was a bit boring. The service was excellent as well. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgable on the menu and very attentive. If we didn't live four hours away, we'd be regulars for sure. We stopped here on our way home from Kings Island.

People of Mason: Why aren't you going here? So sad that this place only has 6 tables full and a few folks at the bar at 6:30 on Saturday night. Perfect for families: Check Friendly service: Check Very Good Food (especially the wings): Check A bunch of TVs: Check Large Rotating Craft Beer Menu: Check There are a lot of things to like about Lucky Dog. Great food if you are just looking for a casual family dinner, meeting friends to watch a game or if you are in the mood to throw back a few. Large menu with something for everyone. Sad that a place like this is almost empty when people will wait for a table at Buffalo Wild Wings 1/4 mile away. Just go give it a shot.

For lunch there isn't a better value around. The lunch menu is fantastic and includes a drink. I am usually in for something off it and then some wings....oh the wings. They are big, flavorful and unique. they are grilled which gives them such a wonderful flavor. This on top of a decent draught beer selection makes this an A+ location in Mason. Did I mention its clean and the service is great.

Holy moly this place has an AMAZING beer selection! Tucked away in a shopping center you could easily drive right by Lucky Dog Grille, but do yourself a favor and DON'T! The atmosphere is that of your standard sports bar type restaurant. The space is large with multiple TVs tuned into to all sorts of sporty* things. There are several arcade games for the kids as well and plenty of seating. The food is all tasty and about what you'd expect at such an establishment. They are known for their wings and offer a variety of sauces. I've heard very good things about their spicy garlic sauce. I had the chicken finger dinner and it was very good. My friend suggests ordering a side of beer cheese for dipping. Mmm! What really sticks out for me about Lucky Dog Grille is their incredible selection of beers on tap. They offer a lot of local brews as well as many that I've never even heard of before. You are allowed taste whatever you'd like before you decide on a beer to order. The taps seem to rotate quite frequently as well. All and all a great experience. The staff are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. An excellent spot for a drink and a bite! * I am in no way shape or form knowledgeable of sports in the least. I fully admit this.

Took the family, sat on patio. Husband had smoked wings, he loved them. I had crab cakes, meh. Very bland. Daughter had Hawaiian burger, ordered medium, came out well done, she said it was great. I tried some, would have been great if it came out medium, but it was very dry. Place was dead, staff was great. Might add to the rotation, not sure yet.

Absolutely the best wings I've ever had. Big whole wings, dry rubbed and smoked with sauce on the side. Stopped in for lunch and I will be picking up wings on my way home at least once a week from now on. MASON!! why are you waiting in line for a table at a chain restaurant that serves frozen and pre-fab food when this gem is sitting right here!?!?!

This place is somewhere I normally wouldn't find on an adventure out for food.... Today I was blessed and the heavens parted and it led me to this awesome grille! The wings are awesome I got the grilled and was blown away clearly they take pride in their wings.. Why the heck would someone spend money on fried franchise wings at Bdubs?? Take the extra .2 miles down the road and be amazed!! Also the beer selection will blow any restaurant around out of the water!!

Working in Mason Ohio for a week. Yelped what's around as I wanted a local beer. IPA to be exact. Now I'm somewhat knowledgeable about whats up in Ohio when it comes to two things. IPAs & Wings. Far and away the best IPAs (not dark & malty) are from Fat Head & Brew Kettle. For wings it's Brew Kettle ( smoked wings) Strongsville. & Barleys Smoke House (smoked wings) Columbus. Now Lucky dogs wings are pretty dam good but not as good as the others . Possibly spent to much time in refrigeration. But what sets Lucky dog apart from anywhere around it their great IPA selection on tap. Seriously. Nice job. All the best IPAs from Ohio & several from Sad Diego as well. They deserve a bigger following. "Come on locals". Support them or loose out when they close down.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. My wife and I shared the nacho appetizer and the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. The nachos were delicious with enough for two people to share and generous portions of chili and jalapeños, both of which added some great flavor. While the Philly cheese steak tasted bland and the meat was dried out. We liked the atmosphere and family friendliness. A big downside for us was the dog hair that we found on the menu when we were ordering. I guess that is to be expected since they do have special dog day activities for canine owners, but still extremely unsanitary.

Beer selection is great. Food is good. Try the smoked wings! They are excellent. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The best part is we can have dinner with our young kids and they can play within sight (several arcade games)while adults finish a conversation and a beer. Thanks Lucky Dog. We will be back soon!

So yet again I decided to give Lucky Dogs another shot. I have been a pretty loyal customer with them over the past few years and thought that I could at least see if they had amended the problems from my last visit. I am happy to report that they have. I came in with a group of 20 and they were very willing to accommodate. They even opened up that back corner room for us so the kids were contained a bit better. The new manager (Sarah?) was amazing!!! She is the reason I think they are back to being a great place again. She helped with seating, made sure drink orders were coming out and checked to be sure food was correct. They seem to have upgraded the staff a bit since last time I was here and everything came out correct and in a timely manner. We are set to come back for a party next week adn I am looking forward to it!!

I went there for a Furry/Fursuiting party on Thursday and this place is awesome. Great food and excellent service. Ignore the obvious trolling comments about "Bad service" Ohio Wolves United will return.

Stopped here for lunch today with a friend around 12:30 PM. The restaurant was sparsely occupied. After waiting a few minutes at the hostess stand to be seated we were told go-ahead and sit wherever we want, the server will be right with you. We took a seat on the patio because it was a beautiful day, and waited a better part of 7 to 10 minutes for a server to acknowledge us and take our order. The server seemed lackluster and disinterested in her job. When we asked her a question about a beer on the menu, her response was "sorry I'm not a beer drinker." When we ask her about a menu item she said "I'm not really sure. Maybe it's a typo. I'm sure the management doesn't even know about the mistake." Our experience did not get any better after that. The food was okay however I will not be making a trip back here anytime soon. I'm thinking we should have just driven down to BW three's a quarter-mile down the road.

Overall this place was nothing more than a Meh, it was just Okay. Typical bar food, bar menu, bar setting. The service was friendly, the food was okay. I ordered the BBQ Sandwich with the Spicy Slaw and Fries. The BBQ was very dry and actually had a fishy smell to it, which really sent my senses and tastebuds into confusion. I had to drown it in the BBQ and Slaw, which isn't something I typically do being a Pork fan! My husband and I had our 4 children, one of which eats from the regular menu. We were told it was also Kids Eat Free night! Which to us means 3 adults order, 3 kids eat free.... this was not the case after receiving our check. The limit is 2, max. That part was left out. Would have been nice to know since I wouldn't have ordered the 2 yr old a meal since he eats everyone else's anyway. I would not go back.

Friendly neighborhood restaurant. A great beer selection. I had a Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Pumpkin blend. Fantastic grilled gigantic wings.

We LOVED Lucky Dog! We visited there while on our vacation and had a great dinner! Some of the boys had the BIG burgers, I had fish, someone had the wings and another had chicken tenders. ALL of it was great! Our server was very attentive and had some great suggestions. I asked about gluten free beer and they brought over a whole gluten free menu! We all enjoyed our food and had the perfect end to our evening. Not one, but two boys won at The Crane Game. Excellent!

Since moving to this area, Lucky Dog Grille has become one of our favorite places to grab dinner. The outside isn't fantastic (in a strip mall) but it is surprisingly spacious inside. They have a nice patio and, although the view is of a parking lot, we still find it relaxing. They also allow pets on the patio, bonus! They recently began serving oven roasted chicken and it is DELICIOUS! It is literally half a chicken, plus a roll, plus 2 sides of your choosing. I usually go for the mac and cheese (homemade) and corn. The chicken is made fresh and they even warn you that it will take a little longer than a typical dinner. Believe me, it is totally worth the wait. I really, really hope that this is a permanent item on their menu. They also have 24 beers on tap and their selection is impressive. Not only does Lucky Dog have a great beer selection for the suburbs, but I would argue it is better than most downtown bars. They often have rare beers that can be difficult to find. They have advertised that they will be starting a beer club soon and we are looking forward to joining. Yay beer! The service has always been friendly and well-informed. They seem to really know their menu, both food and drinks. They also have a dog menu if you bring your furry friend, which is beyond cute. However, where is the cat menu?!?!?! Arlene will be there soon to protest I'm sure.

Lucky Dog...you Lucky Dog! You surprised me! This little unassuming restaurant located in a strip mall in Mason actually has a lot going for it. 1) They have a beer club - Drink any 50 off of their huge list and you are in the club. Also you get to pick out your own keg that you would like to have tapped and brought into the restaurant. 2) The food is actually HOME MADE!! I totally expected this place to be a flash fryer type joint but almost everything in our group from the half chicken, to the mac 'n' cheese, to the incredibly fat and juicy burger was cooked to perfection. Also it was so cheap. Half chicken with two sides and a roll for 10.99! Say wahhaa? Cray cray! 3) The service was kind of slow, but they were so friendly! We went to tap my friends keg she got from the beer club and they took us back in the huge walk in fridge and it so was super neat! I would totally recommend this place. Especially families that want to eat on the cheap during the week, but still want to get something home made. Strip mall in Mason who knew? Keep up the good work Lucky Dog!

The smoked chicken wings were unexpectedly awesome. First, they came as a whole wing. Second, the skin was blackened, smokey and tender. Third, the honey glaze was, to cop a phrase, finger licking good. And they were kind enough to sit my daughter and I far away from the bar! We will be back to tried the grilled wings.
