Always a long wait but well worth it. Staff is prompt and curtious. You don't feel rushed and can truly enjoy your meal. Steaks always seem to be fresh. And, their salads are always awesome. Really enjoy this place.

This was a very good experience despite the 30 minute wait to be seated. Careful about the endless bread though, you can fill up quick and end up taking most of your entree home. Everything ordered was excellent.

Great service and even better food! I normally get seafood since I'm not a huge steak fan but my boyfriend loves the steak. They have call ahead seating, especially with larger parties I would recommend calling a head since the wait time can be pretty long. But it's always worth the wait!

Food was pretty decent, but everything had way too much salt on it; even the margaritas had too much salt on the run. Friendly staff though.

Friendly staff especially for Lima. The place feels a little dirty due to the free peanuts (typical at every location) but it's worth it. The shortage of parking places makes dinner time a nightmare especially since the lot doesn't wrap around the building. The waiting room is also always overfilled but you are seated fair quickly. I would suggest not showing up between 5:30-7:00 especially when it's cold out.

Another town, another Texas Roadhouse. They are pretty consistent and this location is no different. I was seated quickly. My waitress was nice. My food came out quickly. I ordered the Ribeye with a baked potato and it was perfect. Overall, it was good. I would eat here again.

Just your average ordinary Texas Roadhouse no better no worse than any other. Would have been nice to have a little bit better service. that's what makes Restaurant stand out. Perhaps the people in Lima should tip better, then they probably would get better service out of there wait staff here.

Best place for a steak in Lima. the meat is always good. however how it is prepared can be a hit or miss depending on how busy they are. the same applies for the sides. overall worth the visit. we go there frequently.

It's pretty much your typical Texas Roadhouse with buckets of peanuts and shells all over the place. You certainly don't want t come here if you have a peanut allergy!! I absolutely could make an entire meal out of the warm rolls smothered in that cinnamon butter!!! I usually wind up filling up on those little things and then am too full to finish my entree. I've had steaks here, but usually go with either the chicken fried chicken or just the BBQ chicken, which was my choice this time. The BBQ chicken was tender and I was easily able to cut it with just a fork. The coworkers that I was with said their ribs were just OK and not overly hot. Service was good, although it feels like the manager came by asking how we were doing more than our waitress. I can understand a manager coming by once to see if everything is OK, but this one came by three times! Anyway, for a chain restaurant, it's not bad.

Considering the choices in Lima OH are not plentiful, this was the standard Texas Roadhouse fare. I got very good service, very friendly, but they did manage to over-cook my steak.. they did offer to replace it, but i had to run...

As far as chain steak houses go, this one is the best. Sometimes the music is a bit loud... Ya I am getting old lol

Normally, I love Texas Roadhouse. This location did NOT live up to our expectations. We went in with a party of 9, and we were told there would be a 35-45 minute wait, which was fine. After about 45 minutes, they escorted us to our table...only they were seating us at two SEPARATE booths. Half our party drove to Lima from Piqua and the other half from Grand Rapids. We did not drive an hour to meet up for separate dinners, obviously we wanted to be seated together. When a member of our party went back to speak with the hostess about the situation, he was told if we wanted to sit together it would be another 60 minute wait. While he was speaking with the hostess, our waiter came to take drink orders and we told him very, very politely that we weren't happy with the arrangement. He left for a moment and came back stating that it would be another 30 minute wait. We decided to stick with the current seating situation, and he apologized. Our waiter was pleasant. The food was fine. My filet was not the choice cut of meat that it usually is, but otherwise everything was just fine. What bothers me most about this whole thing... 1. the hostess did not inform us of the seating situation or give us a choice in the matter from the very beginning. 2. They did nothing to rectify the mistake. No one ever came to our tables to be sure that we were doing okay as far as the seating went. The manager did their usually quick sweep, asking how the food was, but by the time any of us realized that was the manager she was already gone. 3. The staff at this particular restaurant are under the impression it is perfectly reasonable to split parties between somewhat adjacent booths. Basically, this location is fine as long as you do not have more than 6 in your party.

Great steak, we loved it. Tessa our server was perfect. The mgr stopped by and checked up on us. Very impressed. I had the bone in ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. My son had the ribs and yes he said they we're good. It's a must stop in Lima

This was our go to steak house every Friday or sometimes Saturday too. (During 2004 - 2007, when we lived in Lima, OH) 1) We never had to wait for more than 15 minutes during any of our visits as a table of 2 was the easiest to get seated. 2) I always used to get their 20 Oz T-bone steak and devour it within minutes. 3) Their complimentary Bread rolls with Cinnamon butter was very delicious. 4) Complimentary peanut buckets were an awesome experience. *I have a soft corner for peanuts as most of our South Indian dishes have a peanut coconut chutney side serving* Whenever we had visitors from out of town, this was the place we used to take them to dine. They loved the peanut shell mess on the floor.

Yes, I know this is a chain steak house and I usually never go into a place like this. i went here while on business in Lima and found the 12oz Fillet Mignon to be one of the best I have had anywhere. Yes, I said it. they are my taste buds and they know what they are doing. and I am going to stand by what i said, because i wasn't (that) drunk when I got there. it can perfectly prepared and tasted better than the last time i visited my local Ruth's Chris. the service was top-notch and the bartender (we ate on the bar top) was great and attentive.

I love Texas Roadhouse. The food is almost always delicious and my order has never been wrong. The food is fresh and hot. Service is always very good (and like Ian said--you never go thirsty, partially because they have very large glasses which is very nice). Although it does have that chain feel, it's much better than most chains. The value is better than most chains--it's less expensive than Outback Steakhouse and tastes better too. The rolls are very good. I love throwing the peanut shells on the ground. Also, the line-dancing is a nice touch (adds a little personality to the restaurant). Country fried chicken and sirloin are two of my favorite dishes. Very few options for lent or vegetarians (but it's a steakhouse--that's what you get). The biggest PROBLEM with Texas Roadhouse is that they only seat 6 or less. Any party bigger than 6 will need to be split up into multiple tables. This is very frustrating, especially when you have 7 (if this is the case, just say you have 6, then one person can show up "unexpectedly" and they will get a chair for them to sit at the end). Although they don't take reservations, you can call ahead and they will put your name in and hold it for an hour.

Texas roadhouse has wonderfully seasoned steaks (the secret ingredient is salt, but they DO salt them correctly) and excellent barbeque. Everything else you could close your eyes and pretend you are in outback steak house, Lone star or any other chain restaurant. Overly sweet rolls with honey whipped laden butter, peanuts in a bucket, sides that were butchered into tasting like frozen or instant whipped mashed potatoes. The starter salads are also another chain restaurant cliche' clone here. Cheddar cheese shredded on top of a mound of iceburg with honking croutons and Ranch. However, it isn't Texas Salad and tofu cafe, it's a texas roadhouse. Order what you came to get: Meat and/or BBQ. You won't be let down by those choices--oh and don't forget the Blue Moon draft! YUM! Service is consistent; you will never run dry on BEvERages, but it is very scripted and has a corporate chain restaurant feel to it! Never the less, worth a try!

For a chain restaurant this place is pretty damn good. The steaks and BBQ choices are excellent, with the pulled pork being a personal favorite. Their salmon is actually tasty too, though it is a little too salty at times. I'd say the salads are pretty mediocre, but their veggie sides are a good compliment to their meats. Also, the rolls are addictive, so watch out.
