Appetizer menu selections are good- calamari and bruschetta were excellent. Good burgers and steak. Salads w homemade dressings- nice variety

This place has really gone downhill since Judy the cook left. 5.00 for a draft cider beer is just stupid I ordered a chicken sandwich and got 3 pieces of chicken tenderloins. I asked and was reassured that is what I ordered. Ok whatever. I asked for hot sauce. They didn't have any. That's just weird because they serve hot wings. The ranch tasted sour. They didn't have enough servers to handle the demand Friday night. The fries were cold. My boyfriend didn't get his salad as an appetizer. It came with the meal. Our bill was 75.00. And it was not worth it. Won't go back to eat there ever.

I went to a rehearsal dinner here, it was pretty good food - and filling. It has a feel of an old bed and breakfast. It also has a bar in the back that plays live music - small space, but really cute.

First time eating here!!! It was fantastic! Cool historical downtown building. The food was delicious! I had the blackened chicken sandwich!!! Yummmm the owner is very nice and down to earth! We all tried the brownie mint cheesecake!! Out of this world... They are all homemade! We will definitely make this place a top priority on our dining out experiences :)

Pecan crusted chicken strips were fantastic accompanied with the sweet n' tangy Thai chili sauce! Although I was a bit disappointed they were out of potatoes for potato skins, the friendly staff was able to improvise with French fries with all of the good stuff on top! Not quite the same but I still recommend this place for anyone who likes great food at fair rates all while hanging out in this very historical district! Live music too and great barkeeps!

I was very confused when I walked into The Lodge at 11:30am today. There was a dark and empty dining room to my left. A meeting was happening in a conference room to my right. I wandered down the hall, delighted by the rich architectural details of such a beautiful old building. Many nicely dressed people walked by smiling. I passed by a dark and empty bar on the left and continued until I reached a large room with dining tables and people. I stood in the doorway, surely looking lost and bewildered. I didn't feel comfortable entering because there were signs for Rotary Club and I'm not a member. The only person who seemed like they worked there never even looked at me. They sat behind a table that was covered in strange badges or spools or something. I felt out of place and lost, and thought I had made a wrong turn. Surely this wasn't the restaurant with the high reviews?! It looked like a high school gymnasium dressed up for a potluck supper. I left the building and walked around it to be sure I was really at The Lodge, and I was.

The food is great. Everyone here is super friendly. Classy atmosphere but not too classy to make you feel uncomfortable.

We have been here many times and every time it's AMAZING!!! The fried chicken sandwich is always delicious, along with their fish (and I don't even like fish). They make their own tarter sauce and dressings and all are wonderful! During lunch, they give you peanut butter and jelly cookies after your meal, don't pass these up! A must try!!!
