There's not a ton of healthy smoothie options around CLE or Lakewood, so Robeks works. I've never been a go-out-and-buy-a-smoothie person. Mostly because I can control the ingredients AND make it cheaper at home. But I guess now I can see the appeal, since I rarely have all the ingredients I want just hanging around. Things I like: - Listing of all calorie counts. Just because it's made from fruits and veggies doesn't always mean consuming a large is good for you (or that it doesn't have a scoop of sugary sorbet in it) - You can ask for 100% fruit in any smoothie for an up-charge - You can get a scoop of whey protein Things I don't like: - Just their location has "temporary hours" which means they're closed on Sundays. DUMB. There is free, 1 hour parking in the back garage and it's easy to get inside. Construction makes it a bit of a hassle sometimes, but that's not permanent. Oh, and the staff is helpful. If they see you standing there, staring glossy-eyed at the menu, they'll ask you if you need help. And they do actually help!

I love robeks. Everything tastes so good although it is cheaper to just make fruit smoothies at your house. The staff over there however are not very friendly. They don't greet you & they pretty much just stick their nose up at you like you're wasting their time. It is kind of expensive. A small smoothie is five dollars & it's really tiny. It still tastes good, though but definitely needs to work on their customer service over there.

This place has, consistently, the grumpiest most miserable employees in the city. Its insane. Every time Im in there I'm met with long faces and indifference. The product is great, the place is clean. I dont, however, feel welcome when I go. I get the vibe like Im making them have to work, and Im annoying them by even being in there. Its too bad.

Whenever I wana be all uppity and go the smoovie route I come here. Ive tried lots of the flavors and the green one (kale, papaya and pineapple) is my fav. My daughter is hooked on the raspberry one. They always have great coupons for buy one get one free. It can be expensive without em. The employees never smile but are always pleasant and quick with the smoovies. Parking can suck because its right on Detroit surrounded by 20 other businsses so I just walk usually. No patio...sorry Yelpsters..

Sometimes the wheat grass might be the second harvest...I highly suggest against that so the customer gets the best value for their dollar. The manager is great and the place is always clean. They have winter hours effective open later in the morning.

A little on the pricey side, but good stuff. Surprised there's not a ton of reviews for this place since it's in the heart of Lakewood. Maybe the people that frequent here are too busy power walking or jogging and enjoying the outdoors instead of inside yelping?
