I would put these donuts and baked goods against any in the world. I have traveled all over the world and I will tell you that even the donuts in Holland are not this good and fresh. What a Find!!!!

Dear god, the donuts here are amazing. Completely worth the drive out to Four Mile. The glazed donuts are gigantic and amazing. Get there early and they are still warm. I wish they were open more often. They are only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, which means you have to plan your donut cravings, but it's totally worth the wait. I also come out here because they have a variety of other baking goods and they are the only ones that sell my favorite brand of molasses.

I admit it, every once in awhile I get a craving for a donut. When I do, nothing seems to quell my craving until I get my fix. The problem is that rarely does the donut taste as good as I thught it would, and no matter how many varieties are in the case, they all seem to taste the same. This is NOT TRUE of the doughnuts from Four Mile Bakery. Today I stopped into this general store and bakery. I could have spent much more time browsing the market but I had job to get to so I kept the browsing to a minimum and headed straight for the self service donut case. There I found 7 or 8 different varieties of delicious looking and more importantly tasting donuts. I ate just 2 kinds, one that was filled with cream and the outside was coated with powdered sugar. My second indulgance was a delicious custard filled maple donut. These donuts were worth the 4 mile country road drive, and every calorie! It's discoveries like this that make me love my job that takes me to so many new locations, and Yelpers who steer me towards the best places in the towns I find myself in.

Yep, these are some great donuts. Got a peach pie too, which was great as well. It's true, this place needs a little advertising because it is hard to find, but maybe it doesn't because the place was really busy. I'd like to try lunch next time as it smelled delicious.

Off the main highways, down a few backroads, and seemingly in the middle of nowhere, the Four Mile Bakery is a great secret nestled away in the woods of rural southern Ohio. Don't concern yourself too much with the "General Store" part--Go for the bakery. Amish doughnuts, pies, and bread are second to none! (Though the cheese is quite delicious, too!) If you find yourself anywhere near Jackson, definitely go out of your way to the Four Mile Bakery to grab half a dozen of the doughnuts. Take a look at the pictures. See that little girl with the bulging eyes and a death-grip on an absurdly huge doughnut? Yes, these doughnuts are that big AND that good--one bite and you'll be addicted. It's fortunate that there are about 50 normal sized bites per doughnut. As far as side-of-the-road Amish bakeries go, this is definitely my favorite!

These are some of the biggest donuts I've ever tried. They're heavy and yeasty and so freaking good! The creamfilled donuts are exceptionally good too. The hours can be a little wonky, so consider calling ahead if this will be a drive for you, and don't worry about the country location. It really isn't that hard to find!

The donuts here are awesome! They are bigger than my hand and just melt in your mouth! They are best when just out of the oven. So go early!!! This place is out in the country and a little hard to find, but a beautiful country drive and well worth it!!! But the hours are very LIMITED! So make sure of their hours before you go. They are only open Thursday through Saturday and I think they close at three on Saturday so call to make sure before you go!

The Four Mile Bakery have a large array of baked goods to choose from, but my personal favorites are their large glazed Amish donuts and delectable cinnamon rolls. The only downfall to the Bakery is that they have limited hours of operation. Before you make a trip be sure to get store hours!

This place has the best darn doughnuts you will ever eat and to top that, they are HUGE. The only thing that saddens me about this place is the location, it's pretty far out considering where you live but, it's more than worth it if you are able to make the trip.

These glazed doughnuts are the best doughnuts I have ever had in my life. And the donut holes are even better. That is all.
