Meh. I've been to this restaurant a handful of times and this experience was disappointing. The food was bland and uneventful. I felt like the dishes were overpriced for the lack of taste. Service was lacking, with our waitress seeming stressed out and ignoring us for most of the night. I tried the creme brulee for dessert and it was not good at all. Would not return.

Excellent food all around. Kids meals were great and not the usual crap restaurants try to give kids. Steak was perfectly done. We will be back.

I have to admit, when I pulled up and walked inside, I was a bit skeptical. The carpet is very thin and the restaurant doesn't seem to have had any updates in quite some time. The food, however, was very good. I had the mess o mussels in a creamy white sauce for an appetizer. It was a very large portion, and while I would have preferred a white wine garlic broth, the alfredo-like sauce was tasty and not too salty. The salad that came with the meal was nothing special, but there was nothing wrong with it. For dinner, I opted for a special: $19.99 Filet Oscar. Since this was a filet with crab, hollandaise, asparagus, and a potato for less than the cost of a filet on its own, I wasn't too sure. The steak was perfectly med-rare, had a great sear, and the crab/hollandaise on top was excellent. My twice basked potato was very good as well. Our waitress kept our drinks filled and offered suggestions, and took good care of us. I was happy, and would gladly go again next time I'm in town.

Was here years ago for a great steak and returned recently while on a work trip, really wanting the dark 70s steakhouse experience. We got that. And very friendly, accommodating service. We also received very well done steaks--as in no trace of pink, though they were ordered medium-rare. The steaks were also a bit mealy, the potatoes stewy, and the sour cream watery. They comp'ed our steaks, which we truly appreciated; but we left deflated and sad.

I am one angry bull because I paid over 135 dollars here. Holy too pricey for the portions, atmosphere and quality! New York strip was overcooked (no pink on a medium), French fries were soggy, perch was good but too many bones...only reason for the two stars instead of one is because chicken fettuccine got good reviews from one at our table and the waitress was nice. This place could really benefit from some outdoor seating. It was depressing to be in the dark outdated dining room on this beautiful sunny day.

Absolutely horrible service. Waitress treated us like second class citizens because we ordered the hamburger special

At first glance this place looks like a Dive Bar. Then you get inside and find the 1970s. No linen table cloth- cheap plastic table cloth. Dim lighting. Came here during the off season so maybe it's better then. Wine list was boring. Ordered an appetizer that was an intresting mix of tiger shrimp, bacon, hollindaise on a bed of rice. Service was bored and barely attentive. Which probaby was the reason my boyfriends steak was Medium instead of med well. Large potatoes but uninspired. Same for the salad. At one point I expected Gordon Ramsay to come from the kitchen swearing. The only thing slightly interesting is the honey bread and cherry butter. However what scared me the most was the kitchen staff and worker who went into the bathroom with aprons. Seriously? My steak was seasoned and done to my liking but I'll go to Cbus or Cleveland to for steaks from now on.

Food is awesome. Service is good. Attached lounge with daily specials. Well worth the drive for me and my fiance to have a nice dinner together.

The bull is probably angry about the side dishes. The steaks are delicious, the atmosphere is more Kiwanis Club than Diner's Club, but the sides kinda let the side down, if you know what I mean. Bland steamed broccoli, somewhat sodden baked potatoes. Still, for this area, this is one of your better choices.
