Being new to town, I tried the sub shop near me. The cashier was somewhat friendly, nothing over the top. I too noticed that not one person wore gloves or washed their hands the whole time I was there. Between grabbing their hats, touching their aprons and ringing up customers... It seemed quite unsanitary. After getting my food, I noticed the quality of the vegetables was very poor. The tomatoes were see thru and the lettuce was wet. The comment from the manager was "oh, It must be from yesterday". It was 2pm. Never again... For supposed premium subs, I will wait until I visit Philly.

Definitely avoid this location. We recently visited this store and were disappointed in both service and quality of the food. Issues we had were: 1. A long wait to receive the food we ordered. While the place was busy it seemed to take an extraordinary amount of time to receive our order. 2. When placing our order the cashier Sarah was less than friendly. She flipped out when the customer in front of us gave her a gift card with partial balance and she didn't know how to apply the difference to a 2nd card. THEN she wigged out when I told her I wanted an lemonade to drink and also confirmed I wanted fries (which I had told the guy at the front when I ordered) She thought I wanted a second fry and then freaked out because she didn't know how to void the second fry.The franchise owner may want to re-think who they put on the front line. Very unprofessional. 3. As noted previously our order took some time to receive. we ordered (2) 8 inch subs - a philly cheese and a chicken teriyaki, a medium fry and a lemonade. The philly sub was missing the pizza sauce (even though it was on the receipt). Fries tasted undercooked and the chicken teriyaki was extremely salty. Lastly I'm not sure if ingredients are weighed or not but they seemed to be severely lacking in the quantity of ingredients on the subs. Sad looking sandwiches. 4. I'm not sure if gloves are normally used in food prep, but none of the staff were wearing gloves and we saw many of the staff going back and forth between cutting bread, helping customers, assembling sandwiches and coming into direct contact with food without washing hands between that and helping customers. 5. Lastly it took what felt like 5 minutes to get a refill on my lemonade at the front counter. The aforementioned Sarah switched to taking orders and that meant there was no one to take cash from customers or refill a drink. Overall a really really poor experience at this location. I often dine at the Forest Park location near my employer and have never had any of the issues mentioned above. For a place that is relatively expensive for fast food, this visit the food was neither fast and the product received wasn't worth the price paid.

Well, I had been craving Penn Station so I thought I'd give it a go. I called my order in, and was told it would take ten minutes. Cool, I was in my way. @12-14 minutes later I arrive and pull up to the drive up window. A gentleman asked my name and I sat. And sat. And sat. And a lady opened the window and asked my name, I gave it again, and she said they fries were almost ready. Another 15 minutes (I kid you not) she came back to the window and asked if I had gotten my food yet. Stating the obvious, I said no and she seemed embarrassed and disappeared again. Finally, 30 minutes after I called in my order, @20 minutes outside the window, I FINALLY got my food with a fumbled apology and two free cookies. Big whoop. To be honest, the cookies were much better than the sandwich. Never again.

Great subs and the best lemon aid hands down. I always do a Arnold Palmer. Try the artichoke , chicken and mushroom sub - To die for! This location always does a nice job on service and quality. A little off the beaten trail

Called this location on a Sunday evening at 7:51. They would not take our carry out order because they were "closing in 9 minutes". Must not need our money, so we will take our business elsewhere.

I can't believe that with the number of Penn Station reviews there are out there in Yelp land that no one has mentioned the Teriyaki Chicken sub. Honestly, people, this is THE very best sandwich Penn Station has on the menu. Okay, fine, maybe that is just my opinion but man, the sandwich is good eatin'. I'm really not a fast food fan and limit my Penn Station intake to roughly once a year due to the grease (you can see them cook the meat on the grill and it is ALL buttered up) but when I get the chance to enjoy the tender chicken, sweet but tangy Teriyaki, and delicious sauteed onions...I'm in fast food heaven. This is the only Penn Station location that I have ever visited and it has always been clean and well staffed. You have to wait a little longer at this joint to get your food then say you would at a Subway because they grill up your meat to order, but it's worth the wait. The fries are also delicious and never THAT greasy.
