Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Creno's is an average college pizzeria serving corn chip thin crust with average quality sauce and cheese that doesn't necessarily hit the spot. Great Midwestern hospitality but it could use improvement. The pepperoni lastly is an ok cut of pork or beef there are signs of the type of meat.

I went to order a 1 topping pizza. I wanted to use a coupon for a 1 topping pizza. I told then I wanted a pep pizza but only on 1/2, the rest did not need a topping. They stated that in order to use the coupon I had to have it on the entire pizza. What sense that does make? I am saving them money!! I could see if I wanted 1 topping on 1/2 and a different one for the other half. Needless to say, I did not place the order out of irritation!!!

Great pizza. Horrible atmosphere. Prices way too high. Definitely a lot of room for improvement. Would love to see them or someone put more into this place. Has too much potential not to.

Every time I drive past Creno's Pizza and see a car in the parking lot I am surprised. Perhaps it was a bad night for carryout. I will never know.

I ordered a medium mushroom pizza. It was inedible. I called, and the owner's daughter told me it had been cooked correctly. I offered to let her pick it back up if they had a delivery person in the area. She offered me a credit which I accepted. I gave the pizza to the dog. We ordered several other times without asking for the credit. When I remembered about it, I was told the owner has rescinded the credit it because the pizza was fine. The pizza was not fine. I asked if they could see how long we had been customers and was told, yes, almost ten years. I asked if owner would call me. Never heard from him. Lost a ten year customer over a medium pizza. Will never use them again.

I believe this place is okay. It is a college town pizza place where taste is not a priority. If you want something delivered in Granville, go with Creno's. I think their subs are better than their pizza.

Pretty good pizza. Definitely the best around here and I would eat it without complaining anywhere. Real cheese is the highlight, and hard to find in rural OH. Stay away from the ground beef as it is frozen, already separated pieces that they re-heat and sometimes re-heat multiple times from one service to the next (eww). We've only ever carried out so cannot comment on the service.

Edit: Oct. 29, 2011 -- Sadly I had to adjust the 4-stars from my first visit. I ordered the same pizza, a large, thin crust with mushrooms, sausage and onions. Got home and the middle was soggy -- I mean it wasn't pizza. It was so soggy it fell apart. It was a mass of wet, greasy dough and pizza ingredients. I've ordered a lot of pizza in my day, from all over the world and across the country, and today's was the worst ever. It's a shame because the previous visit was very good. Adam M. nailed it when he said "very spotty service." You are 100% correct, sir. ----- I'm giving Creno's 3 stars but with a caveat: It's how this pizza place compares with the local competition. Otherwise I'd give it a very solid 2 stars. Don't get me wrong, I really like this pizza. In fact it's my new local favorite. On top of that, it's the only one that delivers to my home here in west Granville. The crust is thin but not super thin like Donatos. The sausage in particular is very tasty -- it's the crumbly kind. If you are debating whether to get Elm's Pizza or Creno's, hands-down I suggest Creno's. But go ahead and compare them for yourself if you have the time. Creno's is a chain and the Granville store is at the edge of "the village" of Granville. The parking lot is not as bright as it should be, and the exterior and interior of the building could use a refresh, but the staff are friendly and the food is good. And they deliver. So that's good enough for me to be a fan.
