Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Have been here 3 times had 3 different things on the menu and not disappointed one bit!!! Food is simply amazing, epically the fajitas!!!!! Service is top notch fast and friendly. Easily the best Mexican food in NW Ohio!

We ended up at this place through a random pick on our Garmin while on vacation. We couldn't have been more satisfied! It is good looking, with a great feel and helpful staff. The super chimichanga and cheese enchiladas we had were both fantastic and quickly prepared. Everything was good, even the rice. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. Some of the best food I have had!

Great Mexican food coming from a Mexican food snob. Love the margaritas and the service is always fast and polite.

Had a very good meal here last night. My wife and I shared a very tasty fajita-beef, chicken, shrimp and chorizo. The service was good, too.

Stopped there on our way back to Maryland and we was liked it. Good service, I got the big burrito I think it's called and it was pretty good. Chips and salsa were good too. Bathroom didn't have any paper towels but other than that great restaurant.

Good Mexican food. Regular customer!

Beats eating turnpike food. If you are passing by exit 91 and need a bite, it's worth the 10 minute side trip through historic Freemont. Food comes out fast and flavorless. Service is adequate. Not sure why this place gets such a high rating. I imagine you have to factor in that you aren't in Kansas anymore. Anywhere else I would give it two stars. In Fremont, I guess I have to give it 3. Still better than service plaza food.

Some of the best chips and salsa I've ever had. Ordered the loco taco, and while it wasn't at all what I expected, it was unbelievably good. Everything was flavored perfectly. Decor is over the top, but they make it work. Service was very friendly and prompt. The only thing keeping me from giving them a full 5 stars is the birthday thing. I hate when restaurants do the birthday thing. You know what I mean, where the whole staff comes out and shouts and sings and makes a big deal about it being someone's birthday. It's just embarrassing and awkward for everyone, and makes me feel bad for the poor staff. Maybe I'm just a grinch, but just comp a dessert and maybe have the manager come out and give a quiet congratulations. There's no need to humiliate the entire restaurant. Other than that, this place is great. And I'd absolutely come back.

I'm visiting Fremont on business and was looking for local good eats. This place trully rocks when it comes to Mexican food. The restaurant's decor was lively, the service was very friendly, and mostly, the food was outstanding. I highly recommend the Carne asada dish. The meat was very flavorful and the fixin's that usally come along on these dishes such as refried beans, rice, pico, tortillas just completed the dish perfectly. I actually went up to the owners and told them the food rocked.

I went to Casa Fiesta with my girlfriend after driving eight hours from Chicago. Casa Fiesta is interesting because it has both authentic and Americanized items on the menu. However, the value was incredible, the flavor of the food was terrific, and the ambiance was near perfect. We paid $16 before tip and had enough food for an army. We ordered two enchalliadas, a tamale, and a fried ice-cream dessert. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. If we are ever in the area, we will be sure to go back!

Good mexican food. Good margritas. Large menu. Steak and chicken fajita meat was a little tough. Very light on onions and peppers. Tasty salsa and guacamole. Great birthday celebrations. Others in my group are regulars and love this place. Nice atmosphere.

I will go here any chance I get. The food is delicious (slightly Americanized, but yummy), the margaritas are delicious, and the staff is great. It is a fun place for a get-together!

This place is great! I used to live in Fremont and now I live in California and this food is better than what I get in California. The food here is authentic, the menu is huge and the margaritas are good and cheap (get the 1/2 pitcher or pitcher). The staff is efficient and friendly and the decor inside is awesome. If you like spicy salsa you have to try their green salsa because it's out of this world. It's also a great place for large groups, tables for two, or having a drink at the bar or outside. Can't say enough good things about this place.

We found Casa Fiesta while traveling east from Chicago. It's a bit off the beaten path, but well worth traveling away from the exit ramp. The food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. We ordered guacamole, taquitos, and a vegetarian platter that was a combination of various dishes, and I had a great (and cheap) margarita. The service was fast and friendly, and the place is a lot of fun -- there were several birthdays going on, and it was festive but not deafening. This is a great hidden gem!

Great experience. While traveling to Michigan we stayed in Fremont just off 80. Yelp search for "what do we do for dinner" turned up Casa Fiesta. We don't care for the chain restaurants like Applebee's and we thought we would give it a try. First thing that strikes you is the decor-brightly painted carved tables, chairs, booths and colored tile make the place bright and fun. Next, the staff is very gracious and friendly. Last, the food is fabulous. Large portions with lots of substance. My cheese steak quesadilla was stuffed with meat--they do not skimp on ingredients! Flavor was superb. The combination of atmosphere, friendly service and great food made me wish this place was close to home! A real gem.

This place was the best!! We pulled into town Sunday evening about 5. Saw their menu at our hotel. No one in my family, on this trip, likes Mexican. My husband likes fajitas and chips and salsa but that's it. Being the sweetie he is he decides that while we are going to get pizza for the kids he would surprise me and bring me to Casa Fiesta. We got their at about 6:10 and the sign said they closed at 6:00:(. I went ahead and checked the door and it was still open. I walked in and there was a gentleman counting down the cash drawer. I asked the stupid question " are you still open?" and of course he said no. So I said thank you and headed out the door. He said he could give me some chips and salsa to which I replied " no thank you". He then offered to make me some nachos. So I told him we had been traveling for 12 hrs and I was dying for some really good Mexican food. He asked what I wanted. Mmmm a bean burrito enchilada style, I said. He said he would ask the cook. Cook said yes so I asked for some nachos too... That was one of best bean burritos enchilada style I've had in a long time!!! What great service and food!!!!! Thank you and I will be back again next time I come to Cedar Point:)
