Drove by this place while visiting my folks. We always like local and independent places. Big mistake this time. The iced tea was as murky as the Miami River right outside. The menu screamed canned, powdered, and frozen. We should have ran screaming ourselves. This place is dying faster than most of its customers. My wife had the fried shrimp. Plenty of them but right from the freezer bag. The fried potatoes were well executed. The only thing that was "homemade" was the coleslaw and that had been blended into a paste and then dressed into soup. I had the roast beef hot shot. Dry beef, bland powdered potatoes, all covered in gravy that reminded me of canned motor oil. Keep driving to somewhere they actually cook food. These guys are laid off lunch ladies from the local middle school.
